Ho alloggiato qui solo una notte ma è stato tutto perfetto. Appartamento bellissimo situato in pieno centro ad Alba, pulizia impeccabile e ottima colazione, sia dolce che salata. Ulteriore nota di merito per la disponibilità del personale che si è davvero prodigato per farmi riavere l'alimentatore del telefono che avevo dimenticato in camera.

Mi sono fermato per mangiare qualcosa "al volo". È stata un'ottima idea. Cibo ottimo ad un prezzo onestissimo. Personale cortese e professionale.

Ho pernottato qui una notte con la mia famiglia. La camera pulita, bella, con aria condizionata. I ragazzi all'accoglienza sono stati gentilissimi ci ha aiutato a portare i bagagli in stanza. La posizione è ottima, in centro, difronte la casa medievale, una tra le cose da vedere ad Alba. Colazione espressa ottima.

Ci tornerei e ci tornerò … a differenza dei posti acchiappa turisti loro si assicurano di rivederti. Tra accoglienza, servizio, cantina e cucina è merito anche loro se hai voglia di ritornare ad Alba. Scoperto casualmente, esperienza davvero eccezionale…Super consigliato!.

Il locale per pranzare mi è stato consigliato da AlbaVillage e mi sono trovata benissimo con tutta la famiglia. Posto fuori e dentro, personale molto cordiale, esigenze soddisfatte per i bambini e ottimo cibo a prezzi onesti! Complimenti! Menù tipico con diversi prezzi oppure a la carte.

Ottimo cibo ma soprattutto un 10 e lode a Vittorio... A presto...

Abbiamo soggiornato al Vincafè al ritorno da un viaggio in Francia ed alloggiato nella camera Lilla. Siamo stati colpiti dalla cura dei dettagli e dalla piacevolezza della camera nella quale anche il nostro cane si è sentito a casa. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante ed assaggiato piatti molto buoni con prodotti di livello ed un ottimo vino. La colazione è stata un'ulteriore sorpresa: tutto delizioso. Il dettaglio in più è stato il personale : tutti gentilissimi e professionali! Consigliatissimo. E noi stessi contiamo di tornare .

Wonderful, relaxed and charming Alba experience at Vincafè. I stopped in for a casual glass of Piemonte wine and ended up staying for 2, each evening, plus a morning coffee - everything was fabulous. The atmosphere cosy and welcoming, staff are genuinely friendly and they clearly love what they do. Wine selection outstanding, with great recommendations that matched exactly what I was craving. I tried some incredible Piemonte wines I’d never had before. Highly recommend!

We had lunch here during the wine fiera - Alba was very busy because of the festival and we didn't have a booking. We got a nice table outside, the waiter was great (friendly and funny). Two people had a set menu (3 courses) and two of us had the egg pasta with the truffle shavings, that was a perfect dish, really delicious. I would definitely eat here again and would be interested to book a room too.

We’ve had an aperitivo here many times as well as great meals. We haven’t stayed in any rooms (yet) but the location is ideal. If you are in alba this place is a must - great for people watching. Great for gluten-free.

We stopped here for a lovely Sunday lunch. My friend and I (vegetarian) shared the truffle pasta and the 8-piece cheese board. Absolutely divine, but was very filling! The cheeses were all quite strong, so we didn’t manage to finish it all after splitting the pasta already. We also had some refreshing local bubbly wine which the waiter recommended. All in all, our total came to €54, which was a lot more affordable than other menu prices we had seen walking around. Conveniently located in the main road (perfect for people watching), very friendly service, and affordable prices - couldn’t recommend more!

Vincafè was the perfect place to stay in Alba. It's conveniently located within walking distance from everything - the train station, shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and bars. There's no elevator but staff kindly helped us upstairs with our luggage when we arrived. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We had a good sized bedroom, bathroom, and living area equipped with a sofa bed, chair, mini fridge, and tv. Breakfast was included with the price of the room and it was delicious, especially the crispy bacon and the light, flaky croissants that came in a variety of flavours. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant one evening and appreciated that it was open late! I would love to stay here again.

Wow! What a great place. We walked in for pranzo without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a table, the 2nd to the last one. The place was full. It’s so good I can understand why. We had the best insalata mista of our month long Italy trip so far. We ordered both the Tagliolino with black truffles and the one with white truffles to compare them to each other. Yes, it’s true that the white ones are incredible but the black ones really are not at all far behind. Both dishes were delicious. Prosecco and Barbera both superb. And a nocciole cake with zabaione cream was scrumptious. Great friendly and helpful service and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Vincafe' is an incredible choice if you want to truly immerse yourself in the beauty of Alba. It's conveniently situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the attractions you'd want to explore. The rooms were not only fully equipped but also beautifully designed. We particularly enjoyed our room on the top floor! One standout feature is the included breakfast, which was not only a delightful treat but also very satisfying. They served a range of options including coffee, juice, fresh bread, and eggs that were truly delicious. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond by assisting us with storing our bags after we checked out. This extra level of service added to our overall positive experience.

We stayed 1 night with 5 people (incl 2 children) in the rooftop appartment. very fiendly staff, clean and nice facilities, food was delicious (incl. Tartufo dishes). Enjoy dining in the street outside watching the people moving around in the historical part of Alba. Excellent wine tasting accompanioning the food. Price/Quality excellent (room price is breakfast included!)! I would recommend this to everyone! compliments to the staff!

The first place I went to have lunch when arrived in Alba and the last before leaving. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere before lunch is magical: small talks, sharing news with each other, very local vibe. The omelette that they serve at breakfast is 5 stars itself. Seems like a small bar from the outside, but they also have several tables upstairs and downstairs. So it doesn't matter if you need a calm restaurant or a busy bar, they can offer both options. The downstairs area is actually a part of Alba Sotterranea. The friend who stayed at their BnB for several days, also mentioned that despite being located at the main street and the bar area being busy from morning till night, the sound isolation in the rooms is good.

Great place for atmosphere, drinks and to just soak up Alba. The staff are attentive and fast, very here working. Food is good but then most of Alba offers that. Vin Cafe is a fun energetic place.

Bar dove ci fermiamo sempre a prendere qualcosa per fare aperitivo o solo per un caffè. I ragazzi che servono sono sempre molto gentili e attenti alle esigenze dei clienti . Ottimo il fatto di avere i tavolini sulla via pedonale , oltre ad avere quelli interni che durante il periodo invernale sono molto accoglienti. I prezzi sono in linea con il mercato, infatti abbiamo speso 14€ per 2 cocktail Hugo e in abbinamento ci hanno portato anche due stuzzichini Consigliato!!

Abbiamo pranzato il 25 ottobre con dei tagliolini al tartufo e bonet: tutto ottimo. È la seconda volta che pranziamo in questo locale e devo dire che riescono sempre a stupirci per la qualità del cibo servito. Gentilissimo il personale, ottima la cucina. Consigliato.

Beautifully and simply decorated rooms, with a great restaurant underneath. While not an issue to me, be mindful some rooms overlook a busy street, so there is noise until midnight.

This place looks like a small and nice restaurant, which started as a bar and then expanded as a full blown restaurant. As a second thought, considering the inside tables, the outside and the upstairs ones, in fact it's less small than it looks like at first. However, it is an excellent place where to taste traditional Piedmontese dishes. They have a short but substantial menu, with all the basic and some innovative dishes. The quality of ingredients is good, the service is quick and friendly. The prices are aligned to the rest of the places in the city, especially during the International Alba White Truffle Fair, which attracts visitors, onlookers and gastronomes from all over the world, thanks to the intriguing scent and the very particular, intense flavor of the famous white truffle, which in Alba is a highly renowned local excellence.

Unfortunately the quality and taste of the food was poor. We were with 7 friends, and each menu was disappointing. Totally different than the website shows you. No fine kitchen, and no cosy setting.

Sono appena uscita da questo ristorante e devo dire pessimo il cibo. Nel menù è indicato battuta di Fassona con e senza tartufo in realtà è carne macinata. I salumi e i formaggi del tagliere sono di scarsa qualità e non rispecchiano il territorio cosa c'entrano mortadella e prosciutto cotto. Poco personale per tenere in ordine il locale anche internamente. Sconsigliato, qualità prezzo non sufficiente.

Siamo andati solo per un tagliere ma il servizio è stato davvero deludente. Camerieri di fretta che non guardano nemmeno quello che fanno. Abbiamo preso un tagliere che non ci è nemmeno stato presentato come farebbe un posto con personale professionale e competente. Potevano essere decisamente più accoglienti e ospitali. Al momento di pagare il conto ci hanno fatto passare avanti da un agente delle forze dell'ordine che si è sentito più mortificato del cameriere che lo ha fatto pagare. Cameriere che nemmeno al momento del pagamento ci ha guardati in faccia. Difficilmente esco da un posto senza salutare ma qui mi è venuto spontaneo

Certo che chiudere in faccia il tavolo ai clienti che si stanno avvicinando sbraitando "eh no eh! Qua no" è davvero maleducato. Che le domeniche di fiera siano impegnative non lo metto in dubbio, ma un po' di cortesia?? Mai più, avete perso due clienti

Bevuto male e mangiato peggio. Ordinato 2 calici di vino "umili" e 1 tagliare misto in 2 che ci hanno sbattuto letteralmente sul tavolo senza nemmeno dirci cosa c'era dentro al piatto, un servizio che nemmeno in una mensa! stendiamo un velo pietoso pure sul conto. Entrato una volta per non tornare!

Terrible service. Super slow. I received my appetizer half hour after we ordered. And 1 hour after, they forgot my main dish while the dishes of my colleagues arrived slowly. I ended up only eating a starter and some bread. Never coming back here again. I'll give zero star if I can. There's not even an apology. He just scratched my order from the list when we said we want to cancel and left.

Rude owner, poor service. Been to this place à few times b4 and ok. Came for drink and was poorly served, demanded payment twice b4 we had even finished. When speaking to owner he was insulting saying this is the way in our country - which is a total lie as I travel in Italy 4 months of the year for the last 30 years. Then he said he had no one on till...which makes no sense. He could have just said 'sorry we are a bit under staff'. Instead rude and insulting - 1st time this this happened in 30 years of travelling in beautiful Italy. Shame.
