Chez Alain Miam Miam is probably the first place where I’ve ever ordered a sandwich and finished the whole thing without getting bored halfway. This was my first time trying a sandwich that actually felt full of flavor—especially from the meat and cheese. What I love is how customizable it is. You choose your own fillings, and they’ll even let you taste the cheeses if you want. The bread is also perfect—soft, tasty, and not hard at all. Everything tasted fresh, from the veggies to the meat, and the cheese options are seriously good. The place was packed, which honestly made me love it even more. Expect long lines, especially during lunch hours—people literally queue outside. I came about half an hour before lunch time and still managed to get a seat, but don’t come here expecting a cozy café vibe. Seating is basic, and it’s not the kind of place you sit and chat for hours. People come for one reason: the sandwich. Verdict: insanely good sandwiches, worth the hype, and I’m 100% coming back the next time I’m in Paris.
Great sandwiches, one of the best I’ve had, really quick service and friendly staff. We arrived just before closing (4.30pm) so we ordered to then take away. They were only taking cash, not sure if it was due to technical errors or because it was the end of the day, so be prepared with some cash potentially
Very well organized. The food was tasty and the cheese, oh my, was just right in the point. A very nice place to visit. Keep in mind you will have to pay 1.50€ to dine in, otherwise, takeout.
We were a group of 8 tourists and the staff was really helpful. Not only they got the time to explain us in ENGLISH how to make the perfect sandwich but also they were very organized with the order. After taking our order, one person of the staff even went out of his counter to let us know which sandwich was which from our order. They were by far the most hospitable and pleasant people we faced in all the Parisian restaurants. Definitely worth visiting.
C’est bon! I saw this online as it seemed popular. I got there relatively early and the queue was already quite large - I waited 30 minutes to get let in and well, it was worth it. The sandwiches are really good and completely full of ingredients, exactly as advertised. The draw back was the fact that it was so busy behind me, the line had doubled and was at least an hour long. It might not be worth going if that’s the case, really. As good as the sandwiches were, it wasn’t the best in Paris. That’s my opinion and feel free to disagree. The staff was really quite nice and they have a really good selection of artisan French beers. I enjoyed that with my sandwich on the kerb watching the sorry travellers who had one hour’s day to kill. I recommend but be warned.
Great tasty sandwich in the city center, the portion is big, so we had one sandwich for 2 persons. The roast beef and the cheese inside are very good, the bread itself is very nice too. A very good option to have a quick take away, though you can also sit inside.
I don’t know why there are one star reviews. They offer great range of sandwiches. And it’s basically build your own sandwich. I loved their cheese and their meat. We got our bread toasted and it tasted so fresh. The service is outstanding and the sandwich is totally worth the hype. They make you taste cheeses beforehand. Joint seating inside thou.
I took the Miam miam sandwich with like raw ham or smt and cheese. Aesthetics: 7/10 idk looked like a sandwich Taste: 9/10 pretty good ngl Crunchyness: 8 Price: 6/10 13,5€ seems kinda alot, but it was very good so maybe fair So Grand Total: 7,5/10 Honorable mentions: super Service, it was raining while I was waiting outside for the sandwich and they offered me an umbrella 🦹, so service 10/10 Would I go there again? prob not, but only cause of the price
Was on our list of must haves when in Paris. Always a line because the sandwiches are fantastic. Got a seat inside to enjoy the food. The man himself not only running register and chatting with guests, came out on the floor and cleaned and wiped a table so guests did not have to wait. Impressive food and hospitality.
One dish so French is Crepe, either sweet or savory they are super yummy. The savory ones are called Galettes and you should come to try it at Chez Alain Miam Miam in 3rd Arrondissement neat the famous market “Marché des enfants rouges” Here food is super fresh, tasty and at excellent-value. A must try if you enjoy sandwich and cheese 🤩 Portion is big, I split one with my mom. My only recommendation is to come early to try the yumminess without waiting in line! We got there around 9:45am on a Wednesday and was first in line to be served. Met and talked with the owner - very pleasant and funny guy! Thank you for the great experience, keep up the good work!
Chez Alain Miam Miam....what is there not to like. This place is always busy. Why? Because the sandwiches are absolutely the best in Paris! Alain has made sure that his staff keep to his happy, honest food, and funny outlook. I have never ever had a bad experience in over 6 years of eating there. Everything is yummy, and there is a nice park nearby to enjoy your meal. I very very highly recommend this place as this is a hidden gem in Paris. Thank you Alain for such a great dining experience always!
One of the best sandwiches we had in Paris! I really appreciated the addition of fresh vegetables and the fact that it was toasted — it gave it a panini-like quality that set it apart. We went early in the morning and avoided any lines or crowds, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth it!
Yes waited in line. You live in a city and it’s a well known small sandwich shop. I really enjoyed mine. Crispy bread, fresh ingredients, delicious flavor. Staff were nice and I could order in English. Met the owner who was a ball of joy greeting guests and soaking in the love and support. Would come back!
Très bon ! J’ai pris le sandwich miam miam, un délice ! Les portions sont généreuses et le service rapide. Les produits sont de qualité. Je recommande cette adresse !
The sandwiches were average; I think the taste of cooked onions and lettuce didn’t go well with the other ingredients at all. The place is very small with very limited seating. Also, you have to wait in line for about 15–20 minutes and even though it wasn’t breakfast time, we still had to wait😔
Cute sandwich shop, there are three stations and ordering is smooth. I got the spicy chicken and my partner got a ham sandwich. They guided us on what cheese to use. The bread was absolutely fantastic. We only ate a half of sandwich each and could’ve split one if we had realized they were so big. Definitely would recommend eating here in Paris.
The food was very good. A great bang for your buck. The staff was very friendly. They spoke English. You can eat in or take out.
its good but def not best sandwich in the world. they are so busy that they don’t have time to melt the cheese properly.
I mean it’s a good sandwich don’t get me wrong, but definitely not worth the hype & the long lines. Went there with a couple of friends & tried all the different sandwich combinations he offers (ham, prosciutto & pastrami). They make you chose between two different kinds of cheese (comte or cantal) & then you choose your protein. To be honest, the pastrami was my least favorite. The sandwich has just too much onions inside that at some point it’s overpowering the taste of other ingredients. My personal favorite was the ham sandwich however it could use some dijon mustard for some bold flavor. Overall its good yet definitely not worth to wait in a huge line for it (we waited around 40 mins to be seated which is exaggerated for a 15€ sandwich that i can make at home). Overall its good if you’re passing & there is no huge line.
Overrated ... Good sandwich, but not worth the 40-minute line. We had comparable sandwiches every day in Paris. We ordered 2 different sandwiches which were quite expensive, if you are in the area …
Honestly a okay place, sandwiches were a little underwhelming, generous, however lacking spark, acidity, anything to cut through the generous amount of meat and cheese (no complaints on that front) Unfortunately for me we found the salad hadn’t been washed with then covered in soil and mud, I’d go back but for sure there are better out there
I don’t think it was worth the hype at all, €15 euros for a standard sandwich. The lettuce was soggy from being toasted. There was not much meat. They did load it up with all the other ingredients which was great, and the place was very cute and homey, the staff were so pleasant and kind. But as a culinary experience , I wouldn’t recommend. I had really high expectations, especially coming from Alfi’s yesterday which was Amazing!!! So I question the taste of anybody who would recommend this.
This shop had lots of great ratings so I gave it a try and was horribly disappointed. The sandwich comes soggy and leaves a terrible after taste in your mouth. Ham is stringy and wet
this is easily the worst sandwich you can ever find- unless you are recovering from covid and have lost your taste. it was a greasy sandwich without even the basic salt seasoning. ingredients subpar it was so bad we got three sandwiches for 40euros and threw away all of them. Stood in the line for about an hour because of social media hyping this place up, sadly what a scam :( even the sandwich from any random Paris grocery store tastes better. wasted our time money and appetite. Almost everyone in the line was a tourist
