Wow! We went there last night and ordered the homestyle Bean curd, it was next level amazing! Best Chinese food I've had in a long time. Last week we went to a fancy table service Chinese restaurant, it was nowhere as good as this takeout Chinese place. The inside was clean, plenty of room, not cramped at all, the staff was very kind, the food was hot and fresh. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you're a vegetarian looking for quality tofu, this is the place for you! I would've taken pics of my food but I devoured it too fast.

We ordered a beef and broccoli combo and a sesame chicken combo through Uber Eats. Food was delicious. They give you a lot of food for your money which is amazing.

Lunch Buffet runs from noon to 2pm for $7.40. Great chinese food and some low carb options. I go a couple of times a week for lunch. Its very hard to find an affordable lunch that is healthy that you can run in and get and then run back to work in Albany.

Quick, very tasty and won’t drain your wallet! Just your classic Chinese restaurant experience. You can’t go wrong!

First time eating here and it's pretty good actually. I got the sesame chicken combo with pork fried rice and an egg roll..it was nice and hot and pretty good. Will order from here again 😃

This place is good as hell and people are simply ordering the wrong dishes- the lunch special spareribs are less than $12, the pork fried rice is solid, and the crab rangoons are some of the best in the area. The incompetency of delivery apps and waiting two hours for “ice cold food” is entirely your own fault, as I have both eaten in and taken out and had no issues with food poisoning or the temperature of the food. Take your anger out on the corporations mishandling your food, not the small, family owned businesses.

This small family owned establishment is in downtown Albany. As you walk in you can sense the cleanliness of this establishment. Hands down one of the cleanest Asian spot I have ever seen and the food is beyond delicious. Please stop by their place and you will have the best Asian food in Albany hands down!

Decent Chinese lunch buffet, low cost for alot of food. It's quick so it's good for the lunch crowed who need to eat quick and get back to work.

Lunch special is the beat deal downtown. Lo Mein and pepper chicken and beef and broccholi was tasty for three meals. Friendly and quick.

The food tasted fine and the appetizers were delicious If your order online for pickup, there apparently is a convenience fee. I also did not "select" a tip when ordering (there was not an option) yet a 6$ tip was already preadded on my final receipt when I came to pickup. I always leave tips, in this case it was not a option nor told ahead of time.

Went to see a concert last night at MVP arena. As one would imagine, every eating establishment was overbooked. We found Capitol House Chinese and settled in. They were overwhelmed with orders, but handled it well. The egg foo young was quite good, my Hunan beef was as well. The bottom line, the food was better than average, they handled the crowds (15/20 minutes to prepare our dinners) and we were off to see Springsteen with plenty of time. A suggestion, if you are heading there, order ahead if you can, will save time.

Not bad average tasting chinese. Prices fair. A little bit heavy on salt in my opinion. The rice was cold but the rest of meal was nice and hot . The place was very clean and the people working there were friendly.

The food was 3.5 / four stars out of five takeout only. I absolutely would not bother she can pictures of the inside or eating there but they were nice enough and the food was pretty good can't complain

I go there for lunch at least once a week ,the food is fresh and good during lunch i made the mistake of going there after lunch with a guess and i reminded my self why i never go after lunch I ordered shrimp lo mein with chicken wings and the shrimp were dry and old and rubbery and the chicken was bland and tasteless the interior is drab and dark and not inviting

Standard take out fare. Fast preparation. Decent express lunch variety, get a punch card: 10 punches gets you 1 free express lunch.

Middle of the road in terms of quality of food. But I was really surprised at the overall turnaround. I was in and out in roughly 5 minutes. It's great when you are in a time crunch.

I thought they brought me the wrong dish for "L10 twice-cooked pork", but when I saw other people all got the same thing for L10, I realized this place’s “twice-cooked pork” was basically stir-fried pork. The chow mein was solid though, and the prices were good. Good in a pinch.

The vegetable fried rice was bland. The egg rolls tasted old and stale. The fried fish was okay. I wish I could write a more positive review. I can't recommend it.

Needs heat in the restaurant. It is winter time and there was no hot tea. Also there is so much spare space in the restaurant that is not being utilized.

The previous owners left during COVID. It's new owners. Ever since then the food has been terrible. The sesame chicken was hard as a rock and the white rice tasted sour. I thought it was just a bad day, so I went again. I put in an order of steamed broccoli and orange chicken. I'm waiting there a hlf hour, until I learned the cashier never put my order in. She put a new order in. When I finally got my food, the chicken was cold and the broccoli drenched in some kind of thick oil! Two and done!

I usually don’t write reviews but this was very disgusting behavior. I order from here all the time but the last few time weren’t up to par from the food lacking or them forgetting items. Tonight I ordered $60 worth of food!!!! the driver didn’t speak English and wouldn’t give me my food because I didn’t have cash. I waited outside with him for 20mins trying to tell him the store said I can Apple Pay. In the meantime I’m calling the store no answer I called over 6 times, I asked him to call he kept ignoring me, on the 7th time calling they answered rudely “yes yes yes” and I put it on speaker, told her the situation. She spoke to the driver so he could understand. I told her my frustrations because then he was having trouble with the machine. They were very rude , my food was cold when telling the store they hung up on me and told me they food fine bye and didn’t apologize for the whole ordeal. Food was gross. We got the chicken and broccoli and the sauce was over salted and the chicken tasted like fish. We then got chicken wings with plain fried rice. The rice was over salted too, and the chicken tasted horrible. We couldn’t finish our plates. Never going back again.

The online advertised prices for the Special combination platter is not the same as what they charged me. They charged me $2 more per plate, and when I brought it to their attention the female on the phone got really nasty then hung up the phone on me. I hope the food quality makes up for the poor service.

Dirty restaurant, got takeout. Potstickers good. No cream cheese in the cream cheese wonton. Hot and sour soup was not hot or sour, very bland. Sesame beef was bland and undercooked. House fried rice had salad shrimps in it, the other meat (chicken?) Was also undercooked. Terrible.

Tried to charge me extra for well done. I said no so the broccoli wasn't even halfway cooked. Waste of my money thanks.

This is the third time that I've had incomplete menu items. And I specifically asked it was all there. While the food is tasty and hot, if I'm not getting the full experience I'll go to Emmanuel Thai. At least I get the whole thing. And better food

I think someone here skimmed my card. I didn’t have my wallet with me and used an emergency credit card that I keep in my car for one transaction at this place. And that’s the card that got used on the Amazon within 12 hrs. Luckily, I was able to reverse the unauthorized transaction, but I was able to find out the item was shipped to somewhere in Watervliet, New York.

The food is good but I won't order again. Ordered through Postmates, got an incompetent driver that dropped order off elsewhere (who knows where). Called the restaurant and the lady said she has nothing to do with it call Uber eats, I called them and they lied saying that the driver tried to get a hold of me when I had my phone next to me the entire time, not once did it go off. I also tried to contact the driver to tell him the food is not at my door and the call kept getting disconnected. That being said I had to eat the cost of the food due to somebody else's mistake, there are PLENTY of other Chinese places that will now be getting my money. Not worth the risk going through a delivery service, Uber can eat it 😊

Order dinner tonight.It came cold an unedible. I called them to let them know and they sent the driver back to retreats of food. They said they would give me my money back if I gave him back the food, but they're refusing to give my money back. I took one bite out of each dish to see if some of it was salvageable.None of it was now I get to starve all night.Because this the restaurant won't give us our money back.

Was my favorite Chinese place but I just ate from There & ordered chicken wings with fried rice. My friend said she didn’t trust the chicken wings because they were too big and she didn’t eat them. I ate mine and ended up with food poisoning. Later on in the day I threw up in the event i was attending and had to go home early. I was nauseous and had the chills and I was breathing fast and couldn’t keep any liquids down. Diarrhea came the next day. you guys lost a customer and I just seen another customer review saying they got food poisoning. Eat at your own risk
