This place almost has a neighborhood bar feel to it. Simple and classic bar food. The biggest positive is the prices for the food and drink. We had a burger, sandwich and a small pizza which were all fine plus a few drinks and the bill was $20 less than expected. Add in great golf cart views and we will be back.

Celebrating a retirement was the highlight of the evening. Disappointed in the food....pasta overcooked, frozen meatballs that were barely warm, sausage that were rubber like. Bartender was sweet and efficient. Loved being with friends ❣️

We went too the Mothers Day Brunch and were very disappointed. We have actually attended their Mothers Day Brunch 3 times in past years. The recent Brunch was a shadow of itself. The buffet was so/so at best. The entire event appeared to be on it’s last legs to me. In addition it was overpriced for what we got. At the end of our experience there was only one other table of diners. I asked a waitress if the event was well attended, as we came toward the ending hour. She said that it was not well attended and that several people who had made reservations were know shows. I am not certain of how Martels does on a daily basis, but this will be our last Mother’s Day there.

The greatest amenity is the view across the 9th and beyond....so sad, that abomination tent robs all of the views and aesthetic value. Oh, let's add two tiny windows? And it's heated? Gross. #AlbanySustainability ?

Unfortunately had a bad experience today. Went for a baby shower. As it is the season, it was busy. The baby shower and another party and walk-ins. Quantity not quality. A grilled to your perfection burger advertised was not available. The server said the kitchen was too busy so all were being prepared medium. The rolls were still partially frozen as noticed when I partially sliced it. When given back it was the same rolls the entire table touched, as well as my sliced one, that was returned after being tossed back in the oven. The salmon was dry. The fresh carrots would probably have been good if they were still not crunchy, close to raw. I will say the kids outside sledding had a wonderful time. Hopefully this was just a bad day as I can't imagine this deterioration since my last visit
