Phenomenal service! First time here! Helped us pick yummy things off the menu and treated us like old friends. The chicken pot pie is amazing! And my husband says the sugar cookie is banging!

I honestly never leave reviews that much, but this place was awesome! I got a Cuban sandwich and it was one of the best I had in a while! The staff was extremely nice and I definitely would come back! 10/10, great job guys!

Mmmm - that new sandwich shop smell! I last had a potbelly sandwich in Washington DC about 10 years ago, so excited to see that the chain has finally marched all the way south to the sunshine state! I went with the pizza melt this visit, and it came loaded with sliced meats, sauce and mushrooms - SO good! Right next to Total Wine, which makes it a great place to grab and go when I'm doing some craft beer shopping.

The cashier Vanessa really made my day, she had the best customer service and amazing vibes!

This place has a nice atmosphere that makes you want to dine in. I don't enjoy paying a lot for sandwiches, but their Prime Rib sandwich is worth the money and the drive.

First time since moving here and now I do about three days ago and it is just perfect. I’ve always been a while. Member in Boston is flying in and out from there as my face to the place and I just absolutely love the mandarins and which is my favorite I always always always love their short cookies with their shakes and their juice and mango juice and chips. I absolutely love Mediterranean is one of the best ever in my life.

Finally. The Potbelly gods answered MU prayers and opened a shop in Orlando. I missed living in the D.C area. Loved the Wreck and Now I wont just dream of eating it. I Will actually eat it regularly again.

Came here yesterday to try them for the first time. I’ve seen their billboard but didn’t know they were right here in the Colonial Plaza. I ordered the meatball sub. It was delicious! The one guy I interacted with was nice, he made a joke then later asked how everything was.

Always love coming here! The staff is kind and quick, knowledgeable of the menu and the ingredients, and have great recommendations. I haven’t been to Potbelly since I moved from NYC, and this visit was such a pleasant surprise! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the banana pudding shake was absolutely delicious. Great sub/sandwich spot. Staff is very friendly, restaurant is clean as well. Would recommend the Pizza Melt and/or Momma's Meatball either are a must try. Their Oreo shakes are really good as well. If you're looking to add some heat they have giardiniera but have a different in house name for it.

I had the skinny steakhouse beef sandwich Skinny size - great portion size but the sandwich tasted so good I regretted not getting the medium. The food was delicious fast service good atmosphere. I will highly recommend on the downside I could not understand the guy handling the bread or the young lady adding toppings on the sandwich. I have been coming here since day1 and everyday I am more impressed. Typically I get the employer names but have not done so yet. Let’s just say the entire staff is so warm, welcoming and precise. I was encouraged from one of the employees to try the new chicken avocado wrap today and it was amazing. They make their soups in house and today I had the veggie soup (yummy)! If you have an hour lunch you will get in and out so fast and efficiently. I have been looking for another Potbelly since I tried the Potbelly in Chicago. I was so happy to have found a Potbelly in Orlando. The vibe is so cool. The food is absolutely delicious and the south are so friendly. It’s a win-win.

By far the best experience I ever had!! The staff were very friendly, kind and provided the best Southern hospitality around because tbh Orlando has a low standard of Southern Hospitality, the exception without a doubt is Potbelly Sandwich Shop here in East Colonial. I'm glad the staff was very tentative and talked slow and articulated well with out overloading me all at once. We’d first tried Potbelly back in October 2025 in DC and loved it, and it was just as good here: fresh, perfectly toasted, and full of flavor. I had the chicken pot pie, and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly too, which made the stop even better. I really hope more Potbellys start popping up around the Orlando area and beyond, we definitely need more of this in Florida!

This was such good food and good service and everyone was so friendly when I didn't know quite what I wanted. Also as an ambulatory wheelchair user, this little assistance button made me tear up 🥹 Even the bathroom was super accessible! More so than the bare minimum we normally see, I felt welcomed instead of tolerated for my mobility needs 💕 I know that seems so small but to people like me it can mean alot. (I may have gotten a tummyache cause I ate way more than I should have but it was soooo goooood 😭worth it!) Srsly tho you should get the steak one you can make it a wrap if bread isn't your thing too! (And they have fancy root beer so yeah 10/10)

Not only was the food delicious and the restaurant super clean, but I came on here to specifically shout out the employees. I came in with my two year old daughter yesterday and while she was behaving, I still had my hands full. The employees were super kind to her and made sure things went smoothly for me. *This is a legitimate review. I didn’t take the cookie. lol* I walked in at 9:40 and Melissa was as polite as you can be when you close in 20min. She took my order and immediately starts knocking it out. Then Anthony walked out and he’s the coolest guy you’ll meet. The Melissa Anthony comb got me in and out in less than 10min. Two things: Get the banana pudding shake, it has a cookie on top and get the chicken pot pie soup. I didn’t even eat my sub the soup filled me up. I’m sure they don’t need my help advertising but I suggest you go give them a try.

The line was quite long about 15 people deep. Took them about three minutes to get through everyone. Talk about freaky fast! The ladies in the back will make you feel like you’re at home. The sandwiches are loaded, and the price is just as nice. Only about 10 bucks on average a sandwich. The atmosphere is like old-time sports bar. In a fun way that makes you feel like you’re on the television set. The tables are filled with Orlando teams as well. Great stuff will definitely come back for another sandwich. Sorry firehouse subs…Adrienne was a beautiful face that took our money , her smile made me feel like I was ok with handing over cold hard cash! Mr chuck was outstanding with dressing our subs, accommodations were made for me and my sister splitting two subs and he did it with pleasure. We didn’t feel as though we were just another customer. Their convenient sandwich is great quality with fresh bread with a good crunch and good amount of fresh toppings. I order and enjoy the small, warm, flavorful, and mouth watering quality grilled chicken and melted cheddar cheese. I’m glad there’s a Potbelly in Orlando now. I remember when I first discovered one, I was driving through Kansas City a few years back and stopped in because it was one of the few places that was open at the time. The quality of the sandwich has stayed consistent since then although I think they’re still working out some of opening kinks at this location. They just forgot to cut my sub in half, that’s all.. They’re known for their hot peppers so I recommend that you try them if you like a little extra heat on your sub.

Had one buddy recommend and another tell me no, so I was going to head to Laspadas but I was intrigued by the pepper blend the first friend mentioned. I got the prime rib size big, substituted provolone for the Swiss that usually comes with it and added the hot peppers which is a lot like giardiniera but I would prefer this sandwich with peppers over Portillos beef. The caramelized onions and garlic aioli give a lot of flavor and the beef is not shaved style but still crazy tender. I also liked the chili Mac, but it also brings my only complaint. I think the price of the cup should be the price of the bowl. I will definitely go back and try another sandwich, very clean place with unusually happy staff. The bread is really good too and holds up well considering I didn't eat it till an hour later.

Stopped in on a Friday night before a Plaza live concert. Very tasty sandwich, had the medium Italian. The bread was fantastic. Was the 2nd time here, and would definitely repeat.

Very attentive and nice staff. We ordered the Prime Rib sandwich, good bread, tasty flavor, but the meat was very fatty and gristly, I don’t recommend that sandwich.

Got an opportunity to try this place out last week and honestly, maybe my expectations of a historied establishment opening up shop got the best of me, as I was expecting top-notch Chicago-style foods. I'm not saying the subs weren't good. But in a market filled with great varieties of subs from Publix to national chains, Bahn mi, and so on, I didn't find anything that really stood out amongst the crowd. Actually, the pizza sub was really good, so that was certainly my win for the visit. Ignoring everything I know about the brand, and just focusing on my experience, I would say the overall experience was good but nothing worth coming back for. The customer service was lackluster. One of the staff was very nice. The other staff were lackluster, especially for a newly opened establishment. Service was mid at best. The pizza sub was my highlight. If I am in the area and decide to stop in again, that would be my get. Besides that, the other subs were pretty much a glorified subway in my opinion. There are better options to get good subs. As for the atmosphere, it was pretty quiet. I loved the decor inside the shop. It leaned on the historical roots it was created on and was a fun concept. Now, the one thing I was bummed about was the side options. National branded chips or soup. I really feel this made the place an okay spot to grab a sandwich but nothing more. (Having never been to a potbelly, I didn't know what to expect, but that wasn't quite it.) Overall, if someone ever asked if I would recommend this place, I'd say it's worth a try. But this would be far down my list of places I'd recommend. Nevertheless, I'll be back for the pizza sub!

Had been excited to try Potbelly since I heard they were coming to Orlando, and now that I’ve been, I’m a bit let down. First, it’s one of those places (like Moe’s) where multiple employees loudly welcome you into the restaurant, which is ok if that’s your thing, but I tend to prefer quieter environments. Staff was friendly and I received my order quickly. I ordered an original “Wreck” with provolone, garlic aioli and caramelized onions. The bread was alright, a bit crispy a bit doughy. Not very much meat. The caramelized onions weren’t really caramelized, they were just like raw onions, only softer. All in all a pretty standard, decent sandwich, certainly nothing to write home about though. But don’t take my word for it, just look at the sandwich in my photo. Lots of bread, a thin line of meat, and some aioli. Not exactly a gorgeous cross section.

The food is delicious however I’ve learned it’s waste to mobile order. I did a mobile my mom did a in store order. Well the staff isn’t that bright because it took ALL OF THEM 15 minutes to help one customer at the register who had a slightly large order. I watched my food sit getting cold. Then some old woman with pink hair was horribly rude to us when cashing us out. She threw my cold sandwich across the counter when I made a comment about it sitting there so I chose to leave instead of engaging with someone like that. If I go back and see that same incompetent and rude staff I’ll just visit one of the other restaurants near by

Food is mediocre. However, the service and the manager are absolutely horrendous! Mrs. A. Is an abomination of a manager! She screams at all of the customers at all times! We literally walked in just thinking we would try this place because of the commercials and thank God we tried it so early, because we will never be back! This place is horrible! I ordered a vegeterian sandwich and they added chicken to it, very unethical. I mentioned it very clearly and they still added it. Would never step in a potbelly store, a place where personal/religious/concious preferences are ignored and uncared.

Spent my hour lunch driving all the way here since this is one of our favorite sandwich shops from Virginia. I ordered an italian, got home realized I didn't have it and was given a meatball sub instead. I called the restaurant to see if they'll remake the Italians it'll be ready when I get there and I'll give them the wrong sub. Instead of this simple request being honored the manager gaslighted me telling me he knows he made an Italian sub and that I wasn't looking at meatballs, but was lookingat an Italian. Even when I came back and showed him the meatballs with pickles on bread he still insisted he had made the right sub but had zero explanation why I ended up with a meatball and pickle sandwich. Really poor customer service for what was an honest mistake that could have been very easily fixed instead of having to prove he was right when he was clearly wrong.

Ultimate Disappointment!!! Ordered the original pork sandwich. It was cold, failed to include any of the items described, no cheese, sweet heat bbq, pickles & most importantly, not even their signature hot peppers. Extremely expensive sandwich with a side of extreme disappointment.

This is FLORIDA. Winter is O.V.E.R. the end of February Not April!!! Our only season is Construction literally, All year long unlike Chicago's two seasons of Winter and Construction. Yes, I used to live in UpTown (Broadway & Sheridan area). I miss the museums, the Bean, the parks, LaLa, and my sandwiches and salads done correctly The First Time!

Ordered a prime rib sandwich, started eating in the car right after I left the restaurant so I’m confused as to how the meat was cold… took three bites, all of which were too chewy and I had to spit it out. Gave up on the sandwich as a whole. First and last time not sure what I was thinking.
