While I didn’t quite enjoy my chicken Alfredo pasta, the atmosphere was nice for a decent family bite and my family attested their dishes were delicious. Despite my mid food, Ashley’s service and kindness made up for it. She listened and even recommended a better dish .
Good food! Cat fish is cooked too perfection. However, the shrimp are small and advertised as large and the price is too high for the portion size. The fish dinners are a nice size though.
Food and drinks were delicious. Cajun shrimp pasta was well seasoned with lots of toppings, I wish it had more pasta. Ashley at the front counter was super sweet and gave lots of great recommendations!
This was the spot I heard it on the radio so I had to go free drinks man that fish combo was more then a nuff that gumbo the route was on point but they need to bring that season in and make it punch my first time and meet some other customers they were kind. 11/7/2020 The day Of a New President.
Yesterday I decided to check out "The Catch" for late lunch early dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the amazing customer service. I don't have the young man's name, but he was very attentive and even took time to speak with me while I waited for my order, which was to go. They were not busy (around 4PM), so I really didn't have to wait too long. The food was fresh and good, thank you.
I always get the French quarter platter you should try it out the food is always good
I'd never been here before. It was my first time here, and I loved it. They have great food. I'm a seafood lover, and for me, it's excellent. Just a little detail: the soup that came with my order was a little salty. But nothing's perfect. 😊😋 Thanks.
we learned of The catch from Facebook and made plans to attend today!! The Catch was not only delish but had. great atmosphere!! The place inside is nicely decorated in a beautiful sea blue color with cute furniture to match!! The restroom was clean and follow the same theme of the restaurant! My husband and I went for a late lunch. At 4 in the afternoon people were steady coming in. After tasting the food I can see why. We had the fish and shrimp basket which came with two hush puppies and a side. My husband chose the red beans and rice while I went the fried okra route. We both enjoyed our food Very much! The shrimp were big in size and perfectly breaded! The nice lady behind the counter suggested the fresh catch of the day and the fish was really good! Our experience was a good one and we look forward to visiting again real soon! Happy Eating!!
My choice ( Everything Darkened) Free daquaris with a order to dine in or wait.Hell yeah I'll be back . Thank you Ashley for the recommendation on the French Quarter Plate. #housefavorite #frenchquarterplate #thecatch #thingstodoinhouston #cajunandmore #foodlover #sundayfundayhouston #InMyOwnZone
I recently dined at The Catch, and it was an experience worth raving about, thanks in large part to our server, Ashley. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel instantly welcomed. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive; she offered insightful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. yummy food!
what really made my visit stand out was the exceptional service provided by Junior Rojas. Junior went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor that made the meal even more enjoyable. He took the time to explain the day's specials, offering recommendations based on our preferences, and his passion for the seafood they serve truly shone through. As for the food, The Catch certainly lives up to its name. The seafood is as fresh as it gets, with a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes. The clam chowder was creamy and rich, the grilled shrimp was perfectly seasoned, and the oysters were divine. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and you could tell the chefs put great care into each plate. Junior's attentiveness made the experience even better—he checked in at just the right moments and made sure we were always comfortable. He helped us pair a great white wine with our meal, and his recommendations on the dessert menu were spot-on. By the end of the night, it felt like we were leaving friends behind, not just a restaurant. If you're a seafood lover or just looking for a memorable meal, I highly recommend visiting The Catch. And if you’re lucky enough to have Junior Rojas serving you, know that you’re in excellent hands! I’ll definitely be returning soon!
The Catch serves up some of the freshest seafood around, and every dish we tried exceeded our expectations. From the perfectly seasoned lobster rolls to the perfectly grilled salmon, each bite was bursting with flavor. The oysters were especially memorable—fresh, briny, and delicious. It’s clear that the chefs at The Catch prioritize quality, and it shows in every dish. Junior's service was impeccable. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and his warm personality made the evening even more enjoyable. He was a huge part of what made our visit memorable, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and happy. For anyone craving amazing seafood and a welcoming environment, I wholeheartedly recommend The Catch. And if you’re lucky enough to have Junior Rojas as your server, you're in for a treat! His dedication to providing excellent service truly sets this place apart. I can’t wait to come back!
The experience at The Catch was great thanks to Ashley, the cashier. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my visit enjoyable right from the start. Ashley offered great menu recommendations and was quick and efficient with my order. Her positive attitude really stood out. I’ll definitely be returning!
The food was super delicious and flavorful. It's a laid back place with Wonderful staff. Nothing super fancy at all but definitely high end flavors. Mind you, it is not the place to hit up if you are shooting for 5.99 meal deal. But it will not cost you $20 to order a large plate of food and a drink.
Food was amazing at a very good cost! I highly recommend this place. It is awesome and they give you free daiquiris! I don’t drink, but Who does that? Awesome restaurant if I could give it 10 stars, I would; friendly service & kind people.
My first time at THE CATCH. I ate at the South Post Oak location and EVERYTHING was made fresh and perfectly seasoned. The chef working in the kitchen on Sunday evening on 9/7 knew exactly what he was doing. The fried green tomatoes were so good… the fried fish, shrimp, side salad and the sauce the shrimp boil, potatoes and corn was in WAS DELICIOUS !! All the STAFF was very nice and attentive!
The food was excellent we didn’t have to wait long at all yet the food came out amazing. The seasoning was perfect and good service will eat here again
Calling in was a bit unprofessional, just felt rushed but then i was told they were closing earlier than usual so i understand but overall service was good food was fantastic and the pricing was reasonable
I had a good experience. Im from out of town I saw this location while on the highway decided to stop. My daughter had a crab and shrimp boil I had a creamy shrimp and chicken pasta with bell peppers Delicious The house slushie was real good pink lemonade was our flavor
We tried this place for the first time tonight..first of all, you had my husband at free beer! I ordered the popcorn shrimp and substituted my fries for grilled vegetables..delicious! We also had the half order of fried green tomatoes as an appetizer which was definitely enough for me and my husband to eat before our food came and also tasty. The hushpuppies are so similar to what I make at home, so those were perfect! The staff, especially Ashley and Dianixa, were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!
This gem of a place does not get as much foot traffic as it should! The prices are beyond reasonable, the people are nice, and the food is ALWAYS good. I ate mine so fast, I forgot to take pictures! I ordered 1/2 lb of mild boiled shrimp with the combination sauce and the New Orleans plate. I chose grilled catfish and shrimp and it was FIRE!!! The etouffee was FIRE too! I had enough for two days! I spent a little over $30 for all of that. It was worth every dollar!
I was driving around trying to figure out what to eat when I happened to drive by and see The Catch. I decided to stop since I had not had seafood in quite a while. This was by far the best decision I've made in picking a restaurant in a long time. I ordered the Captain Combo. It came with 2 catfish, 4 jumbo shrimp, 4 boudin balls, 3 hush puppies, and I opted for fried okra in lieu of the included fries. I have no bad things to say at all. Everything was fresh and hot when it came to my table, and all of it was cooked to perfection. The catfish was great...very light cornmeal breading, the shrimp were so good, the okra was perfect. I can't say enough about how great my meal was! Highly recommended, as I will likely return before the weekend is over. Wow...just wow.
First time visit and it won't be my last! Went for my birthday meal with my best friend and it's a nice little spot for great seafood and FREE drinks! They offer FREE beer and frozen drinks with your meal, even if it's to go! Javier our cashier/server was super friendly and it happened to be his birthday too! They have a large selection of Cajun/creole seasoned foods, sides, desserts, and drinks! Javier offered me a complimentary birthday key lime pie slice and a banana pudding cup! Best of all, super friendly staff and service! Kind of small inside, with nautical theme decorations, but, a great place to eat! We got it to go, but we sat awhile and nibbled. I had the Admiral's fried platter which had catfish, crawfish, shrimp, oysters, pups and fried okra! Check the pic! I waited too long to try them, but, it was worth it!
Ill be back in just did a quick pick. Id like to try the crawfish next time
Excellent food, 2 free small margaritas if you order a meal (taste great, not that strong, but they're free), great staff
Hubby took me on a lunch date. Ruled out the regular locations for someplace we’ve never tried. Only a few cars out front and that was kinda suspicious. Only 2 tables occupied. Even more odd to me. Went in and ordered. My oh my! Why was it like cooking from my house? The aroma? The taste? Totally unbelievably amazingly delicious! Portions were amazing too. Free frozen margaritas and hurricanes if dining in also and they were delicious too. Fried shrimp, fried catfish, baked fish, fried green tomatoes, shrimp etouffe, hush puppies and red beans & rice. The garlic bread had such a delicate crunch. Very clean location. Friendly service providers. Decent prices. We were so hungry that I forgot to take good pictures but I did clean my plate with a little bit left to take home. Truly going back there.
BEST seafood in Houston! Cant believe I havent found this place sooner. And the prices are unbeatable. Excellent customer service from BRITTANY
Best fried okra in Houston. Great fried fish and shrimp baskets too. Support your local Cajun restaurant. Et toi!
Omg I only got some things to-go, but it was so good! The fries with the po’boy were seasoned to perfection. I’m getting more when I’m hungrier
Excellent food and very attentive staff. I was shocked and pleased to see that they were open during a snow storm, when a lot of other restaurants were closed. Great food, price and value. Can't wait to visit again!!
Food was good! It was freezing inside on a cold day outside. Food was made at the time ordered, so we waited a bit. Maybe it seemed long because it was so cold. I'm willing to try Catch again, on a warmer day!
This was a take out order for three people. We had a snow crab, boil, Catfish basket, and a grilled shrimp basket. I was greeted by the manager when I walked in the door and the food that I had ordered online was ready exactly at the time they they posted. All the food was delicious and we will definitely be coming back here again.
Great Employees!! Very fun, welcoming and friendly!!! Treat ya like an old friend!! The food is amazing and servings are healthy!! Will Definitely come back many times more!!! And recommend to all my friends!!! Great Job The Catch!! You just caught another loyal customer in your net!!! Great Job!! Keep it up!!!
This was my first experience here and it's very clean and organized. Their customer service is on point. I had the whiting basket, fries okra and gator bites. It was seasoned to perfection, hot and crispy. Everything came out to order and I will most definitely be a regular!!!
I haven’t been to this restaurant in years. The quality is still delicious. I called to place a pick up order. Junior was super hospitable and suggested a nice combo for me. Enjoy and I appreciate it. Thank you for the great service.
This place was amazing, I was in town for the Rodeo with a friend and a Google search led us there and man were we in for a treat! The food was absolutely amazing! We both had to get up from our table to get our drinking cup because we weren't given one and one wasn't brought with our food. So we felt like we had to bother staff for our cups. We do not regret this visit and I'll send anyone I know that direction for a delishious meal! I wish I could have tried more on the menu but I had the catfish nugget and popcorn shrimp basket with fried okra. I added a side of coleslaw that was amazing! The little complimentary margarita was a treat and quiet tasty. Can't wait to return again!
First time trying out this wonderful little place and I already know we will be back. We came for an early lunch, our party ordered four different dishes from the menu and they were all excellent. The food came out fast and it was nice and hot full of flavor. The restaurant has a nice decor going on that fits the menu perfectly.
This place is super small but I kinda like it that way. For a Saturday wasn’t a big crowd with a lot of noise. It was very calm. The guy in the front taking the orders is super fast and nice. He does talk a bit fast but he gets your food correctly. I order and my food was out within 7-8 mins. It’s nice I didn’t have to wait long! I will be returning fish, okra, shrimp, and fried green tomatoes were fabulous!
The seasoning that must have overwhelming but it was very light also it barely tell the boils in the bag
The food was not what I expected, the catfish basket came with 1 side. I thought a basket came with fries?! Was a little pricey, and not as good as I expected, honestly. Probably won't be back.
Stopped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Inside is small but cozy. My dish came out freshly fried and very good. The shrimp really are JUMBO! Fries were ok, I personally don't like the coating, would rather have plain fries. In my opinion the prices are a tad bit high. The soda fountain wasn't working but guest were accommodated with cans of soda. I chose not to try the free drinks as I had errands to run. Overall this is a nice little neighborhood eatery. I will be going back.
It was a pretty good experience for the most part. The only thing they did not at the time have regular catfish they were out, but other than that I had an alligator poor boy that was amazing. My drink was a sweet tea with lemon, which was very refreshing. I went with my mother who also ordered the blackened chicken pasta, which was very good as welloverall great experience. Just wish we could’ve had fish also.
Wifey and I give them 4 stars. We were not expecting counter service. The plastic cutlery usually gets a star off but because of covid we'll let that slide. Their shrimp and fries and hush puppies were very good. Their shrimp etoufe was pretty tasty too. The service....albeit of the counter variety....was very good. I'm posting pics so pay attention, there may be a test later. I ordered the 10 piece shrimp basket and my eyes may have been bigger than my stomach, we left full and happy.
I ordered online through Grubhub. Like always prices are going up. athe added fees and tips really make it not worth it but it beats sitting in traffic so... food was good I did have to season it first but still pretty good. Hush puppies were pretty small to be $7. I will try again but I will most likely dine in because it cost me well over $45 to feed myself.
This was our first visit we were looking for another fish spot and this place was nearby. She had a fish basket I had a dinner plate. I would say the service was fast, they didn’t have everything the menu posted so we had to pivot on our options. The inside is very clean the bar area had TVs on so you could watch the games. They do serve adult beverages frozen of course. I would recommend trying this place and give them a chance. As for us we will be returning again to try something different next time.
Meh. Ok for a quick bite and fried foods. The gumbo is actually really flavorful. And the complementary daiquiris are on point. Staff is laid-back, but very helpful.
The free mixed drinks and free beer is a really fun idea. It gives you something to do while waiting to order and I assume the sodas are free as well but I didn't order one. If you are from south Louisiana, aka Acadiana, and are looking for some authentic Cajun food I would stay away from the Cajun dishes simply because they really don't taste as good as authentic Louisiana boudin balls or gumbo, but the fried fish looks like it would be excellent, as does the boiled fish and seafood! I went to the Grand opening and it was really crowded but I would like to go back again and try some of the fried fish and / or the seafood. The boudin balls were mushy, which is not really how they're supposed to be so I will probably pass on the Cajun food next time. Texans don't tend to be as particular when it comes to Cajun food so if you're from Texas you probably won't mind it. 😉 For more tips and travel reviews as well as Cruise blogs and excursion videos, follow me on Facebook and Instagram @ TravelWithLesli ✈️🌏🚢
Ordered for pickup. Catfish and shrimp were excellent but hushpuppies were burnt and fried pickles were super salty.
The service was good, but mostly because the manager (?) Made sure we were taken care of. They offer a free drink with any dine in order, and the options were margaritas or a daiquiri. Neither were all the way frozen and not good in my opinion. (I didn't have any expectations on a free frozen drink). The food was over priced. I expected blackened shrimp in a salad to be a good size since I paid $15 for it, but they were small and barely seasoned. It was a salad I would have expected at a fast food place.
I stopped at the Catch on Post Oak today. I am not happy. The food is skimpy for the price. The cat fish is nasty Swai. Two measley hush puppies. One side of skimpy okra. I was not happy. Not worth the price.. in
Great food. I’m not sure if the drinks are good. No one offered me one. Shrimp basket is awesome. The gumbo only has sausage in it and the smallest crawfish I ever saw in my life. I mean small. I won’t order the gumbo again.
The poach bag was good with corn and potatoes, but the crab legs themselves were very salty, had to use a lot of lemon, and tge butter sauce was pretty potent. The fried chicken fingers over the salad was just okay. I still ate most of the crab legs, but super messy and had to ask for a crab claw cutter.
It's the Mid of most Mid. I don't know where to start... the dirty rice wasn't good, and certain food is great, but others is either average or not so good. Most of the baskets are inflated with fries. I ordered a gator appetizer for $16 and only got about 10 pieces. To feed 3 people it's about $75 ... Very pricey. Onion rings are a bit sweet, I like that little twist. You can go to the hood to Timmy Chan and get better fried catfish nuggets and fillets. Chicken tenders are good, but again, none of these plates are worth the price. The atmosphere and customer service doesn't make up for it either. I honestly wish that after a good day I had something to write home about here, but I think I would have had a better dining experience going down MLK and finding someone selling plates to get something worth the price. It's also not a good sign seeing the waiters mix up peoples orders and bring them out late as well... I won't go here again. It's just Okay.
I clearly ordered the pasta with chicken, but I got shrimp. Maybe only about 6 or 7 total for the plate, which is why I ordered chicken. The gator tails are skimpy, with salty fries. I'm sure my friend will be hungry again shortly. The shrimp etouffe is like a runny shrimp soup. 50 smacks-roos for something I didn't order ... I gotta shrimp soup and a shrimp pasta 🤷🏽
I had to rate y'all I come here frequently but the last couple of times I came the service was horrible it was literally no one in the restaurant I ordered my food online came 20 minutes later even though they said the food would be ready in 10, I got there and had to wait another 30 minutes... I came in today ordered my food online they said ready at 5:38 I got there a little after 6 and they didn't see my order I showed them on my phone that I ordered and paid for it that's when they started my order i did not receive my food until a hour after my initial order smh. Before this I have never had a bad experience but after this second time I had to write how it has changed and the bad experience I have been receiving
I decided 2 eat here after 2 of my friends said they liked it & would come back. So, I decided 2 give it a try. I ordered the fried fish ( swai, cheap type of white fish ) & jumbo shrimp combo ( $ 14.50 ). The breading on the fish lacked a tasty seasoning. The fish was overfried, very crispy & dry. The shrimp was probably the best part of the meal. The shrimp was a good size & tasted very good for not having seasoning. The fries were good. The hush puppies were dry & bland on the inside & could have used some tasty seasoning as well. U know what they say, " u get what u pay 4. " It's very true in this case. So you ask, would I come here again ? I would say NO. Go somewhere else & pay a little extra 4 a better quality of fish, catfish or better
September 4th. 2025 11am. We came here for our 1st. Time instead of going to Luby's and now I'm disappointed!! The hush puppies was fried hard, as well as the Cat fish was fried hard. If you want your money's worth go to luby's. The Reviews for this place seems to be more bad than good comments. Looking at these people bad food got me to never come here again.
I spent 35 dollars and my food was disgusting. When I pulled my fish apart it was hard brown inside no white flakes. My hush puppies were hard and full of oil. They must have refried it. Im trying to support my local restaurants but I cant continue to support a place that doesn't appreciate its customers.
Just ate lunch there or should I say tried to eat lunch ordered the boiled crab and shrimp. No way they give you to open your crabs up. Finally after cutting my hand I gave up. Take your own utensils to eat with. $40:00 thrown away.
Food isn't bad but not worth for the price. Came 3 times each was about the same. When it comes to customer service yea that doesn't really exist here. The menu was not lit up and you lady could not answer questions or had a paper menu. They also missed a part of my order. Just go somewhere else. Also 4 of the sodas were completely out/ broken. Every time I've been here there are a few dirty tables from past customers but nobody in the restaurant.
I ordered a delivery combo received a call that they didn’t have the gators for the order. I substituted the crawfish tails but that combo was cheaper. I asked if I could get my credit back for the difference. I was told no but could get a discount on my next order. Needless to say I won’t be back because the food taste like it was fried in old grease and well not worth the price. My mistake for trying something new and not being able to get what I paid for. Understanding restaurants run out of things but I should be able to get my difference back. Very disappointed.
I recently place my first order for delivery. I ordered the catfish with fries and boudin balls. The dinner came with 1 piece of fish that was super thin, tasteless and overcooked. The fries were ok. The boudin balls were good but they did not add any dipping sauce even though it showed it on the ordering app. I will never order from here again
OVERPRICED BLAND FOOD I honestly only came to this place because of all the adds of a new Cajun seafood place opening up and I’m all for it. I was highly disappointed and will never return. In my opinion the only reason why they have ANY customers is because of the free drinks they give out to suck people in. I don’t drink so that would be no reason for me to go. I was charged $16 for one piece of fish 3 shrimp and a hand full of fries plus a regular fountain drink! That’s WAY over priced you would be better off with sticking to Navy Seafood or papsitos around the corner If I’m going to pay that much for so little. The food was so bland no seasons AT ALL and I wasn’t even given the type of fish I asked for. I told the lady at the front catfish and I got whatever other type they are promoting. If the food is going to be bland and overpriced at least give me what I payed for. Couldn’t even do that right. Both ladies at the front the one taking orders and the one behind her are not wearing hair nets and their hair is not contained correctly either. They must not have proper cooling in the cooking area as I noticed there is a cooling( what looks like a Window AC unit) behind the counter girl on top of a counter/table. Dust and other things build up in those units and blow into the kitchen. I’m sorry to say but I don’t see this place lasting. Might want to close this place down and try again smh.
I didn’t like the fact that I stood there at the counter for about five or 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. The person who took my order was standing and listen to his coworker, speaking in Spanish about something. After I receive my food and I was about to leave once again standing and not acknowledge me when I walk up. I’m an African-American 51 year-old woman, and there was some African-American young women who came in and I experience the same prejudice. I would not go back to this establishment! For Latino men to be working in a service industry, and how they are held prejudice against them from Caucasian people I was very appalled on how this behavior was being reacted to me. No matter what your feelings are you are in the service industry and therefore you should have an open mind and service all your no matter their race.
First time and last time I just went there wensday morning I was poisoned just got of the hospital I have had alot of seafood everywhere. but this place only use cooking oil and paprika no Cajun no salt I will be suing this place soon I've been throwing up Oil and pooping like crazy sense that day took it back decided to get a 2 plate mild it got worst from there I dont want anybody to eat here
If you guys stop cooking at 9:54, why post you guys close at 10:30. Drove over here just to not be served. Besides that, short Hispanic cashier was outside other that at the register. He walked in behind me, and had an attitude just because I asked why advertise they close at 10:30 if it was 9:55 and they wouldn't take my order. Terrible customer service. Then I get in my car and see another employee outside smoking having a conversation with a friend. You guys are just laying people to do whatever they want, and loose customers.
I found a big roach in my seafood boil after I ate it all !!! I got my refund but the next day I was completely sick and couldn’t eat for 4 days straight. Don’t go here ! The employee Candice told me they leave seafood soaking over night which is not the proper way to clean seafood. They made it seem like it was normal .
Very disappointed. Does not hold a candle to Captain Bennys or Captain Toms. Jumbo shrimp (fried) and fried catfish were both mushy NOT CRISPY at all. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The gumbo tasted burned and was mainly rice and sausage. Ordered to go and had to wait a few minutes because order was still cooking. That was not a problem because I thought it would be nice and crisp. It was not. Do not recommend. Threw most of it all into the garbage.
What ever happened to customer service. I went to The Catch today to have a catfish. With a coworker. And I got the catfish and shrimp. i told the gentleman, I did not order the shrimp.I'm allergic to it. So he takes my plate. Then he gives it back to me with a shrimp still on it , saying I can keep the shrimp. I was Expec. to get more catfish nuggets to replace the shrimp, i can not eat. The gentleman at the front counter tell me.I put more fish on your plate, which was not true, because my co-worker ordered the catfish and shrimp.and both lunch baskets looked the same amount of fish and shrimp. , So he refused to give me a refund on half of that catfish nugget basket. So , needless to say, he did not care that I was unhappy with my lunch and my lunch hour ran out. So now, I guess I gotta go get me some fast food. After having to pay full price for a half of lunch at The Catch. There is a picture of me returning the shrimp. I did not eat. The Catch. I will not return here and after give you a chance to make my lunch right . you refuse . $13.99 for a half order cat fish nuggets. and but way, And that is why you should only tip after you done with your meal . and not tip , Before you get bad service.
I've never dined (in) here but the first doordash order that I had for this restaurant was fine. The food was was good and it traveled well. My second DoorDash delivery order was TONIGHT however, was a different story entirely. Imagine sitting down to enjoy you dinner only to bite into it, have an object dig into the roof of your mouth and you spit out your food to find a STAPLE (Yes, a staple that belong in a stapler!) It was baked into MY HUSPUPPY on one of the entrees ordered. Of course, we all stopped eating, threw it all away. I called the restaurant immediately and was told by the manager on duty (Javier A.) to contact DoorDash. Eat at your own risk- literally.
I was dissatisfied with the service on how they did not know their menu when I would ask questions about it, and I was upset that the fish I was getting was not CATFISH!! I could tell the difference and I had to ask about it and I was told it's not so ATTENTION!!! ITS NOT CATFISH!! Your getting they are serving a different kind of fish besides the white fish I think I should be Compensated for the false advertising. I would not come back until...
I ate two crawfish, one bite of uncooked rice, one bite of the grilled “sausage” that at best was an Earl Campbell hot link, red beans were so watery the sausage chopped in the tasted like chewed up gum and half of a fried “catfish” aka tilapia filet. I also had the A/C dropping water on us. I called manager over and said this is terrible and he said let me refund you your money, which I truly appreciate because this had to be the WORST food ever! I could not give it negative stars but THIS AIN’T it!!!!
Completely missed a whole order of oysters. Food arrived completely cold. Forgot all the hush puppies. I ordered corn and potatoes with Cajun seasoning and garlic butter didn't have ANY seasoning on it only butter. Everything was cold and had no flavor.
The crawfish were old and smelled of rotten egg and you don't get corn or potatoes with your crawfish unless you order five lbs worth. Also the potatoes were rotten. One had a huge pocket of black slimy goo. the snow crab was old and the meat didn't look good. The fried pickles are just salt fried on salt seasoned with salt. The popcorn shrimp comes with five to six shrimp and a couple chicken nuggets. The staff in the back were screaming at each other and being very rude to the girl working the front. When I complained to the company they just said to try a platter or fried option because those are better than the boiled options. I do not recommend this location.
