On a Sunday afternoon, driving into the Texas Roadhouse parking lot at 3 pm, we found a parking place up front, and with six people, we were seated immediately! This was quite surprising to me. Allan & I, each ordered the 6 oz filet. They were both perfection! Juicy, tender, and grilled to our requests - medium. Allan ordered corn and steak fries as sides, and I had a baked potato and house salad. Everything was fantastic, and our server was excellent! Our son, his fiancé; and our daughter with her boyfriend, were with us too. We asked our server to keep the hot rolls coming please! And with a smile, she kept bringing us piping hot rolls and cinnamon butter every time she walked by. We also shared the special blooming onion with horseradish sauce! My husband doesn't eat onions just to eat onions - but he like THIS fried onion and sauce. The restaurant was busy, but we never felt rushed. That was awesome! The customer service was very friendly and quick to respond upon any requests. The restrooms both ladies and men were clean and stocked. Texas Roadhouse is great! The menu said Mon-Thurs they have a $12.99 special. Hmmmm, I'm certain, we'll be back!
This Texas Roadhouse, in Anna, TX Turned out to be one of the most memorable places for our family. After our very well planned, to be beautiful wedding, my daughter Sydney and her now husband Evan we're devastated. Snow/ice = wedding had to be canceled. Iced in for several days, Evan getting stuck in snow and ice attempting to reach his soon to be bride, Sydney having to resuce and spending the day of at the hospital with sister whom actually "broke a leg for them" slipping on ice herself, these two came together and did so very lovingly and supportive of each other. Following their intimate exchanging of vows, this couple deserved some celebration. Thankfully Texas Roadhouse was open and very accommodating. Sydney still in her wedding dress and Even dressed in proper Texas attire, enjoyed their 1st meal as husband and wife, and were able to actually get their 1st dance right there (the manager was able to locate a speaker, turn down the background music and play the song they had chosen for their 1st dance behind the scenes and a surprise to the couple) with all the employees as witness and cheering them on, the new start of their life. I cannot thank you enough! Shout out to Donnie, best waiter ever!!! And all the crew and management! I know you guys had a difficult week also, just glad we were all able to come together in that special moment!
I have been to many Texas Roadhouse locations. This location is great. Clean restaurant. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The steaks come out as ordered. They have a new item on the menu, Twisted Mozzarella. They were very good. I wish I had remembered our waiters name. He was great.
The two hosts at the front were ready and quick but I didn’t catch their names! Hailey’s attitude, hospitality, and readiness is great! Brooke kindly introduced herself. First time at this location! Great service. Recommended by her, I tried the herb crust chicken with cooked onions on top with the brown gravy 11/10 of you squeeze the lemon on the chicken! Side of mash potatoes and that seasoned rice y’all! Kudos to the chefs in the back! God bless all of y’all! I really hope there’s food like this in the Kingdom of Heaven! Thanks y’all!
My wife and I were finally able to enjoy our first date night in months, and Texas Roadhouse made it a great one. Kenzie was absolutely wonderful; attentive, friendly, and genuinely made the evening special for us. With the exception of finding corn in my chili (not my favorite!), everything was delicious, and Kenzie took care of it immediately. We’ll definitely be asking for her again on our next visit!
My daughter and I visited before we were headed to a performance. The waitress noticed we were dressed up and got our food out correct and quickly. Then she disappeared for the rest of the meal. She showed up just in time to pay. No drink refills at all. Food was amazing as it always is. The atmosphere is Texas Roadhouse. It is the same at every location.
We had a wonderful experience at Texas Roadhouse today! Mia and Roy were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their positive attitude and excellent customer service truly made our visit special. Thanks to Mia and Roy, we had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this location!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I took my friend Della out for a late lunch at Texas Roadhouse, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Vanni, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant to be around. He checked in just the right amount, made sure everything came out exactly right, and kept the experience relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. On top of great service, he had such a warm, charming energy—cute, kind, and professional. The food was spot on, the timing was perfect for a late lunch, and we never felt rushed or forgotten. Honestly, it was one of those meals where you leave thinking, yeah, that’s how service should feel. Huge thanks to Vanni for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back.
We came to Roadhouse for afternoon dinner. We were seated immediately and the service was top notch. Preston was our waiter for this evening. He was very attentive, personable, and really enjoyed his job. That is very rare to see nowadays. Our drinks stayed refilled and he checked on us throughout the entire experience.
My family and I went on a Wednesday evening and had a great dinner. Steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were yummy, and the rolls were delicious as always! Courtney was very nice and made sure we had a good experience and Dora was a great waitress. Will be back!
Came in for the first time today, I’m more of a Chilli’s/Olive Garden person. Just wanted to say the food was great! It was fresh and had a lot of flavor! Our server Jalyn was great, she was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. It was a great experience and I will be back! Happy Holidays 🎄
Our waiter was very nice, friendly and attentive. We all had steak and they were cooked to each of our different requests perfectly. The house salad was wonderful especially because it is nice ,cold and crisp. I like to get mushrooms to eat with my steak and they were really good. Overall it's was a pleasant experience.
Texas Roadhouse never disappoints! From the moment you sit down, the smell of those hot rolls and cinnamon butter hits you — and they’re just as amazing as they look! 🧈🍞 The steak was grilled to perfection with those signature char marks, and the baked potato was loaded and fluffy, just how I like it. The green beans were seasoned perfectly and tasted homemade. The service was friendly and fast even though the restaurant was packed, and everything came out fresh and hot. It’s hard to beat that combination of great food, fun atmosphere, and true Texas hospitality. Always worth the wait! 🤠
Meagan was so welcoming and personable. She was our waitress that went above and beyond to make sure our food was on point. She gave great recommendations and when the food wasn’t to our taste she had the manager prepare us a new meal without us even asking. Second time around it was exactly how we wanted it! The energy in this specific roadhouse is very warm and vibrant.
Service was great. Meal was perfect. However, I think they need to host a food safe course for their staff. While in the restroom. I observed a member of the serving staff. Use the urinal, dip one hand under the tap for about 2 seconds. Finish his text with the other hand. Then use the dryer for 10 seconds. Text again, then leave. That is the reason for -1 star. It seems hygiene is not part of this locations work culture.
It was Friday night and extremely crowded and so noisy (personally, I wouldn't do that again). First time I have gotten the pork chops and it had GREAT flavor! The loaded sweet potato was wonderful, as always! However, the peppercorn sauce was really not good for me. I really didn't care for it at all. Mercedes did a great job checking on us and making sure everything was a good experience for us.
First let me say the food was very good. However, I joined the wait list on the website, and it stated I had a zero to 10 minute wait. We went inside we waited for over 10 minutes I went to the front counter then they resigned me in and said I was on their list and then waited for another 10 minutes to be seated when there were 10 empty tables that were available. I do not understand why they have 30 people waiting to be seated and there are 10 open tables. Then when they brought our water there was a red liquid on the rim of my husband's glass. Not even sure what that was. And one of the hostesses while she was carrying the bread and butter to a table she was sitting dropped the butter, it landed face down. She picked it up, and put it back on the serving tray and the next group got that butter. To make things the worst possible, my husband was in the restroom and one of the kitchen staff came out of a stall and walked out without washing his hands. We saw him in the kitchen when we were walking out. We did tell the manager who was very nice but still, this is all horrible.
I love this Tx roadhouse. I frequent it several times a month! Service is outstanding! I Went for a bday dinner tonight with some family members.Ordered house salad, always amazing, half slab of ribs which were delicious and the veggies. Broccoli, carrots etc. They were soooo salty I couldn’t bear it. My daughter and even the server tasted it and was like ooh that’s too salty. To the cooks….Maybe less salt on the veggies when preparing them would be amazing! Other than that all is great! Cameron and Emily are awesome! Great service
The quality of the food here is below average compared to every other Roadhouse I have ever been too. The service just takes too long and the food never comes out right. We got two steaks Medium and they both came out well done. We are regulars at Roadhouse and try to avoid this location with everything we have.
After being seated waited 15 minutes for drinks. We were sat next to a family with babies that were crazy. We ordered our steaks my daughter's steak was medium rare but came out raw. They had to refire it after I flagged down the manager 5 minutes later after it being served. Came back charred. They made a new steak..... By the time I had finished by 11 oz sirloin and kicker of ribs. This is at 4:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday 🥺. I can't believe they have the audacity to actually charge for her meal since they couldn't get it right The first two times. She had to watch me eat mine and then I had to wait and watch her eat hers I'll stick to the McKinney location
The takeout side of house knows their stuff - we get it at least weekly. That is the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1. If you want Texas Roadhouse, I'd recommend ordering to-go. As for dining in. We were able to be seated as a party of 7 immediately, which is nice, especially on a Sunday afternoon. However, the food took over an hour to come out(half the restaurant was still empty, but perhaps they had a lot of takeout orders), the steaks were cold and incorrectly cooked. We found two separate hairs - one in the butter, and one on the steak. The service was mediocre - servers standing at the kitchen entrance talking while drinks and the roll basket was empty. If you want overwhelmingly superior steaks and service, walk next door to the Chili's. The management there is phenomenal.
I had a really disappointing experience at Texas Roadhouse. The wait time was much longer than we were told. Once seated, the table wasn’t properly cleaned. The biggest letdown was the food. For a place that prides itself on steaks, mine was overcooked and dry, nowhere near the medium-rare I ordered. The sides were lukewarm at best, and the rolls, which are usually a highlight, were burnt instead of fresh and warm. Overall, the experience didn’t match the price we paid. I’ve had much better service and food at other steakhouses for less money. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Worst experience I have had in a very long time in a restaurant. Order for my 10 yr old daughter a well done steak, they brought me a medium rare steak, then they said they would fix it and brought it so burned out it looked like a piece of charcoal. Order a baked potato without anything on it, came out with the cheese bacon etc… out of the 3 orders only one came out decently.
Service was amazing, but the food wasnt exactly good, the stake was charred on the outside, and inside was raw, it wasnt pink but purple, my boyfriends burger was also rare/raw. Manager and our server was amazing. Sadly this is not the first time that this has happened to us and to my family, but hopefully this will change in the future and they will make their food more carefully.
As of today October 17, 2025 I can no longer agree with the below review from just a few months after this location opened. We had such a horrific experience here, our food was cooked wrong not once, but twice. All the big managers were having a meeting 10 feet away and none of them could be bothered to help with the disaster unfolding at our table. We had a floor manager doing his best, but this was an epic fail. I do not know what has happened here, but looking at the most recent reviews this place is going downhill fast! I’ll leave my original review here, but proceed with caution. I don’t know if we will This was our first visit to this location, the staff were all very pleasant and friendly. This store is smaller than most, but still quite nice. We arrive around 3:30, old folks do that. 🙂 The hostess was very nice and accommodating without tude when we asked to sit some where other than the original table. The music was at a good level and not so insanely loud we couldn’t talk. Our server Madison (Madi) was fantastic! Friendly, energetic and so fun to chat with. Food was Texas Roadhouse solid. Try the deviled eggs! Hubs had the 16oz ribeye, I had the fillet salad, so good. Rolls were above par and hot. The manager can by and welcomed us as first time visitors to the location and gave us some coupons in a goodie bag. He did promise to bring us some more rolls…I’ll forgive him for forgetting them. Probably didn’t need them anyway! Will be back.
I usually enjoy Texas Roadhouse, but this visit was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the smothered chicken, and everything about it was just bad. The cheese on top was burnt, the chicken itself was overcooked and dry, and the mushrooms tasted old and rubbery. It took forever for the food to come out, and when it finally did, it wasn’t worth the wait. The only reason I’m even giving one star is because the waitress was actually very kind and tried her best—but unfortunately, good service can’t save bad food.
