I went there in person, and I showed up absolutely starving, hoping for something good and they definitely came through. I’m actually a returning customer. I moved away for a bit, but now I’m back in the area, and it felt great to return to the same awesome food. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Platter, and it was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in a while super fresh, flavorful, and fast. They’ve got a Grade A rating, which you can tell from how clean and well-kept the place is. The staff was really friendly too .. Overall, great food, great service, and solid vibes. Definitely recommend!

My meal here deserves more than polite appreciation. The servings are generous, the cooking is skilled, and flavors are spot on. The employees exhibited remarkable warmth and happily addressed all inquiries. This restaurant provides distinctive offerings and I'm pleased it exists. This restaurant remains surprisingly unknown!

The Half Chicken Meal at Chicken Shack is absolutely delicious. The chicken is juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked with crispy skin. The rice and beans on the side are flavorful and complement the meal perfectly. It’s a hearty, satisfying dish that tastes fresh and homemade. Highly recommended

Pretty decent spot with very delicious BBQ chicken and ribs. Place is a tad bit on the small side but there weren't a lot of people inside so it was easy for me to sit in and eat. The lady behind the counter while not really friendly was polite and served me in adequate and proper time. I ordered the 1/4 Chicken and Ribs along with rice and beans, pita bread and a dessert of chocolate pudding on the side. The entree really hit the spot, the ribs were so tender and juicy and so was the chicken. I enjoyed that meal but it filled me up a bit too proper, I didn't have much room for dessert so I took it home with me. My order overall was $25 and I say it was pretty decent. I enjoyed my meal here.

Let me say this: I've eaten at a lot of chicken places around the world and for some reason, this grilled chicken at Astoria's Chicken Shack is THE BEST CHICKEN I've eaten. Hands down. No debate. I eat here regularly. I'm talking multiple times a week. I eat at the restaurant and I order delivery sometimes. It's the best. The chicken is moist and tender. You can see the chef make it right in front of you on the flame grill so you know IT IS VERY FRESH! It has a delicious flavor to it and the sauces complement the chicken very well. I always go for the half-chicken on the value menu ($13) because you can't get a meal better than it! It is SO HEALTHY! You are given a side salad which is fresh and you are also given another side of your choice. In addition to all of that (the chicken, the sauces, the salad, and the side), you are also given pita bread with it! This place is simply the best! I absolutely love the sweet potato fries too! THE SWEET POTATO FRIES ARE SO GOOD!!! You need to try them. They are delicious, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The combination of the half-chicken with the sweet potato fries is literally unbeatable. The price is also amazing. VERY AFFORDABLE. I absolutely love coming here. I also want to say that the manager of the shop is a great guy and everyone that works with him is also very helpful and respectful. I feel at home when I'm eating at this place! I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Chicken Shack!

I loved it and it was a decent price for the neighborhood. I got the burrito but it was more like a taco 🥣 than an actual burrito. In the end it was a better choice. The red birch beer soda was a great way to wash it down afterwards.

At Chicken Shack I had fried chicken, very crispy and juicy, the huge beef burrito, a complete and very tasty meal, and this rib eye steak, perfectly cooked, seasoned, juicy and flavorful.
