The Gang Garee is delicious. It's creamy spicy and with a slight sweetness from coconut milk. The pork Dumplings are the best I have ever eaten.

The Roasted Crispy Duck in their curry sauce is the best Thia dish I've ever had. They had an option for a Basil sauce that i'll have to try next time, but WOW. WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL!

The continued kindness of the amazing women that served us would alone be enough to bring us back. But there was also an incredible portion of well thought out and well executed comfort food. Here is what you need to know before coming here: This location shares parking with multiple other location so getting here in and out might be difficult. It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but inside it's nice and roomy with plenty of seating. The gals that served us were absolutely kind gentle and a pleasure to work with. They work hard and make sure everything is constantly clean and no matter how busy they are that you are treated warm and welcomed and make sure you are served quickly. Restaurants to the back wall so clean and well kept. (Meaning plenty of soap, toilet paper, paper towels to dry hands) My friend ordered pad Thai and I ordered the duck Curry and we were both blown away by the serving size for the money and a flavorful food that was served to us. I brought my business friend with me and we both were full and satisfied by the time we were done here. They even brought us some flavorful coconut to see us off and our server made sure see checked on us all along the way and even accommodated my request for hot water with lemon. They even had an outlet thankfully at the front so my friend can charge his laptop while we ate. Our server went above and beyond to make us feel warm accommodated than welcome despite being packed. We will definitely be back as they used high-quality spices and food and we could definitely tell by the quality of the flavors textures smells and just overall phenomenal meal to hit the spot. They have a wide variety menu for could just think about, date anybody's pallet so I highly recommend this place!

I've tried pad thai at numerous restaurants, but this one consistently stands out. The dish is expertly prepared, with a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. And don't forget the tea! It's the perfect complement to the meal. If you're a pad thai lover, this is the place to be.

We had friends in from out of state and we ordered $300 worth of food to share (via Doordash) and let me tell you, it was amazing! I won't list everything we had but it was all delicious. I will tell you about my favorite dishes. The Tom Kha soup was absolutely one of the best I have had, the drunken noodles were so flavorful, I don't know what they do to the coconut shrimp but they are magic, the pork dumplings melt in your mouth, the pineapple fried rice was delicious, the Gang Massaman is my absolute favorite and will become a craving. Large portions to share with a group and even have leftovers. That all said, enjoy the food from this establishment and tell everyone you know. Support good, local restaurants such as this one.

It was really good I enjoyed it I got the guay tiew tom yum noodle soup and I got it mild spicy but it was hot so if you like spicy food I highly recommend it but it's hot enough to clear your sighens 10/10 I recommend going here

We eat here almost every other week now. It’s easily one of the best places to go for a quick meal. Each dish is typically a large portion if its noodles or rice based. I typically get the Basil Fried Rice, Pad Kee Mao, or the Pad Thai.

Mal puts so much heart into both the food and the experience, and it shows. The shrimp fried rice is a must-try—plump, flavorful shrimp and perfectly cooked rice make every bite satisfying. The Thai noodles are just as good, with tender, well-seasoned meat in a rich, savory sauce. There’s also a vegetarian option that looked incredible. Whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed!

The food here is so good! Their curries and noodle dishes are indistinguishable from what you get in Thailand. They have the ideal spice level delineations for any palette (I like it hot!). They have a nice selection of Thai teas and other drinks that are good as well but I don't get them often. This is a great local business with good food, good service, and good prices. They deserve your business if you're in the mood for Thai or looking to try something new!

I don't come here often but I had a pretty enjoyable meal. I had the house special Pla Som Rot and it was delicious. My wife had the pad thai which was good too. For an appetizer, we wanted spring rolls and they were out. We ended up getting the egg rolls which were good but I feel aren't really egg rolls as it's not in an egg roll wrapper. There is plenty of parking and we were quickly seated. My only compliant was that one table in the middle of the dining room was the bus table and was full of a bunch of dirty dishes and other cleaning supplies. It was really strange in an otherwise nice environment.

Loved the food and service. Served the food pretty quick and hot. Ordered Shrimp in a blanket, Tom yum Namkhon chicken soup, pineapple chicken fried rice and shrimp pad thai noodles everything was Yum yum. Must try.

I walked in to order take out on a Thursday night. While I waited I buzzed over to Sprouts. Food was hot and ready when I returned. It really hit the spot! At other places this order upsets my stomach from the oil, no upset tummy this time.

As always, the food arrives hot and was excellent. Pad Thai is my go to place. I am in a wheelchair. I asked if the driver ring the doorbell and hand it to me. Instead, he didn’t ring the doorbell and put the food order right in the middle of the handicap ramp took me quite a while to retrieve it, but I see it’s still sitting there on the ramp. I can’t reach it. I hate to leave a bad review because I really recommend have Thai but wanted to pass along my disappointment with the delivery service.

Great staff. Went three times in two days. Pad see ew was ordered all three times. Mild, medium and hot. Delicious. Yellow with chicken is comparable to the fancy places that charge x2. Also pad thai medium and mango sticky were SOLID. Lastly, large portions compared to overrated hipster places. Very friendly with kidos.

We were passing through for work. Stayed at a hotel close by and were in a mood for some Thai. I had a coconut curry dish (pictured) and my coworker had chicken pad thai, both were delicious. Someone really liked the Thai ice tea! We got the Forever Chicken Pad Thai and the Panang Curry Pad Thai! Absolutely amazing !!! The portions are so big and we save some food for next day !!! Ordered the Pad Thai with Beef, Shrimp and medium spice on GrubHub. The order was completed fairly quickly and when received I was blown away! It came nicely wrapped in foil to keep the noodles hot and the juices from spilling. Also the peanuts and shredded cabbage were also separated which I found was a nice touch. The portion is definitely generous. Only reason I am giving this a 4 star is because I paid extra for shrimp and only received 2-3 shrimp with the tails on them. However the portion of beef that they gave was great. All in all this Pad Thai is very good! Reminds me of a similar Pad Thai I use to have in Miami.

Chicken Panang Curry is pretty good here. I was a lil iffy when we first saw the mango sticky rice soaking in the coconut milk but once we took a bite…can’t stop won't stop! We went back to try different dishes :) The staff there are super nice and friendly ^_^

The Pad Thai was delicious and 9.99 off the dinner menu. Beer was 3.95! The service was great. It was a nice stop while getting items at Best Buy and bEd Bath and Beyond.

If your new to Chai you may google first some pictures; the only negative concern is not to give an explanation-intro to someone new should be essential. However is not a big deal.

The first time I had the Pad See Ew, it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and a solid 4.5 stars. But on my second visit, it was dry and not as good, so I couldn’t even finish it. I’ll give them one more try based on my first experience, but if it happens again, I’ll have to find another spot for Thai food.

Honestly, I’m really surprised by these reviews. The food was smehhh and everything was over cooked. We got the pad see eww w shrimp and the shrimp were inedible because they were so overcooked. The curry had no flavor or spice to it and was very lack luster. The sticky rice was so hard it was inedible. The best thing was a chicken peanut dish we got for the kids with vegetables that had some good flavor and was not spicy so the kids enjoyed it. We spent $77 for 3 containers of food. The only thing that was okay was the egg rolls. Which is sadly never a good sign when that’s the best thing. Just save your money and taste buds and go next door.

Overly sweet Thai food, very little flavor. The pad Thai is swimming in sauce, the curry puffs are dry and don’t taste like curry, and the Tom kha has no flavor.

The pad Thai was bland, and the grilled vermicelli we ordered showed up stir fried instead- not at all what we actually ordered. The restaurant itself was kind of run down and bathrooms were dirty. Not the worst meal but wouldn’t come back.

I had lunch delivered to my office. I ordered vegetable egg rolls and chichen pad thai. The egg rolls were OK but the pad thai was not. It was literally just noodles with bean sprouts on top and a few small pieces of chicken... no other veg or egg in it. Terribly disappointed.

The customer service was great; don’t get me wrong, but the food was just mediocre/not great. I ordered the chicken fried rice with veggie egg rolls. The chicken fried rice didn’t have much flavor; the egg rolls were SUPER greasy and the ‘sauce’ that came with them seemed watered down/really didn’t taste much like anything! I will say the Thai tea was delicious, but that’s honestly about it. If you are able to find another Thai place, I’d just go there.

I normally love Thai food, however about 90% of the pad Thai I ordered was a big glob of noodles that were pretty dry and stuck together with some broth lingering at the bottom of the container. I spent most of my time picking around trying to find the veggies and bean sprouts. I ordered it with tofu and veggies, the tofu was pretty dry and tasteless as if it wasn't really cooked into the dish but tossed in at the end after sitting out for too long. The veggies were ok, but the overall flavor was definitely lacking. I wish I had ordered from a different restaurant in the area instead. 🙄

The pad Thai dish was soggy and mushy with salty sauce. The shrimp egg rolls were half filled with cabbage and the shrimp was tough and dry.

The food is average for thai places in austin but unfortunately they have fox news running on the wall whenever they are open and will not change the channel if you ask. This means you will have to eat your pad thai while political rants are running in front of you. Unless you want fox news playing, go somewhere else.

I gave this establishment multiple tries and visits and can’t no longer justify eating inside. Firstly the food is good, however the restaurant is constantly hot inside. It’s pretty unpleasant to eat here, while the dining is room is constantly at 80 degrees. People don’t want to be inside a hot dining room, sweating while eating a simple noodle dish. I tried to go at different times, and the A/C in this place never seems to be on. The establishments in the same shopping strip to the left and right of them don’t have this issue, so this confirms that it’s just an extreme penny pinching move. I hope the owner sees this, and realizes that to keep customers coming back inside, there’s an industry standard on dining room temperatures for a reason.

Establishment was fine; it’s in a strip mall with a relatively big parking lot. Food was excessively salty, the sauce lacked flavor. The vegetables looked fresh and there was enough meat. It’s just insanely salty. The cheese stick appetizers are quite good. Restaurant seating area looks clean.

Previously, I would've given this restaurant at least 4 stars but the food has gone downhill and is so inconsistent. I've been frequenting this restaurant for the last 10 years. The gang dang has become so watery and devoid of substance. If you pay $2.50 extra for broccoli, there should be additional broccoli and not just a few pieces. Paying almost $20 for an entree that barely has any vegetables in it is ridiculous., especially when you're ordeeing a vegetarian dish. The front desk person is the worst. It took her 20 minutes to take an order of 5 items. And she marked all items to be spicy. I specifically mentioned not to make it spicy. She has a hard time understanding plain English. Very unsupportive place to follow dietary restrictions. Pure waste of money and not sure how this place has a good rating.

First with the food: Ordered the Pad Thai, and honestly you might just call it soup. VERY SALTY! And the taste is non-existent. The peanuts gave it the flavor, sadly. I went to a restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was less than ideal. The food, which I believe was supposed to be pad thai, was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, the restaurant played the same song on repeat throughout my entire meal. It felt like the song was stuck on a loop, just like my disappointment with the food. I hope they improve their menu and consider changing the playlist.

We were driving through the area and found this restaurant on Google, it looked promising from the pictures and reviews. Sadly things must have changed. She ordered yum wun sen, glass noodle, but there wasn't any glass noodles and the food didn't taste good. Too sweet. Also, it wasn't Jasmine rice, it was a terrible tasting rice. The price was almost $20 and the portion was half the size you would expect for that price.

Came in with 4 adults and 2 children. There was an automatic gratuity tip added due to the size of our party which was about $20. My bill ended up being $156.38 and I did not add additional tip. The restaurant added a fraudulent additional tip of $10 on my bill without my consent and my account was charged $166.38 once it cleared the bank. Add more tip was marked off and total was written clearly on receipt. Beware... Keep your receipt and track of what you paid. On another note, the Tom Yum was delicious. I did pull out a long piece of hair from my rice as the waiter watched and i even handed it to her and the beef in the beef Broccoli was still bloody. Would not recommend this place.

The pad thai was the worst sauce I've had. I love Thai food and is my safe go to when out of town. Egg rolls were decent but the taste of the pad thai dish was a big disappointment after waiting an hour to get it delivered to my hotel. Please use your money elsewhere.

If you are vegetarian don't bother eating here. I ordered pad keep mao with no fish sauce and got an order of unseasoned stir fry and bland noodles. No flavor, soy sauce, no nothing. This is the worst meal I've had since moving to Austin. If your business doesn't want to serve vegetarians just tell us! I would have said ok and gladly ordered from somewhere else. It's honestly insulting that your business didn't inform me that the dish couldn't be made veg or put even the slightest effort into making it taste good. This is like ordering marinara with no meatballs and getting a plate of bare noodles.

I was door dashing at this restaurant and I saw theee young ladies that worked there at the window peeping the customers food for to go and for the customers sitting inside. I saw one lady grab fries from a pan that was for a customer sitting down with her bare hands. She ate the fries without any gloves on and she also used that same hand to cough in and grab more customer food with those same bare hands she did not wash her hands she did not sanitize her hands and the entire time I’m looking at the workers letting them know I’m watching them and they did nothing but stare back like so what! I was so disgusted . I recommend no one to eat here I would not lie I saw what I saw and they are not sanitary here

They didnt start making the pickup order until I walked in to pick it up. Their order printer is in the front of house instead of kitchen and there is no one at the front to attend to incoming online orders / people waiting to be seated. They had 3 order receipts hanging out of the machine when I walked in and the girl had the audacity to say the orders had “just come in”. Was in the restaurant for 20 mins and saw her come up to the front once. Hostess complained about me (very loudly) to back of house saying the orders came all at once and just now (not true in the slightest) + when I called her out on the fact that my order had been placed and confirmed by the restaurant 15 minutes prior she walked away and didnt address me at all. Witnessed multiple customers having to get up and walk to the kitchen to find a server because staff is MIA at this place. Costumer service is nonexistent at this place + not worth the hassle.

Unacceptable. I ordered couple time, and they always made the wrong orders. One time ordered Pad thai with beef, and chicken satay, then the end up, I got 2 pad thai, one with beef and one with chicken. Today, I ordered again for my dinner at work, I ordered Pad thai beef again, they made Pad thai with pork. OMg, I have to work with nothing to eat. Because of religion, I totally can not eat pork. You guys have to carefully with what are you guy doing. What happens if someone have some specific allergies with ???? or like me, what can I eat tonight?

Unacceptable experience with contaminated food I want to share my recent experience at pad Thai cuisine ordered a takeout dish, and to my surprise, I found a cockroach 🪳 in the food. This situation is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards. Ordered over Uber eats and was really disappointed. The coconut shrimp were burnt on the outside, excessively coated and soaked in grease, and all stuck together. When I opened the box initially I didn’t recognize what it was. Pad thai flavor wasn’t enjoyable and noodles were a pile of mush. This was exceptionally bad.
