PD Thai Austin Reviews
I walked in to order take out on a Thursday night. While I waited I buzzed over to Sprouts. Food was hot and ready when I returned. It really hit the spot! At other places this order upsets my stomach from the oil, no upset tummy this time.
As always, the food arrives hot and was excellent. Pad Thai is my go to place. I am in a wheelchair. I asked if the driver ring the doorbell and hand it to me. Instead, he didn’t ring the doorbell and put the food order right in the middle of the handicap ramp took me quite a while to retrieve it, but I see it’s still sitting there on the ramp. I can’t reach it. I hate to leave a bad review because I really recommend have Thai but wanted to pass along my disappointment with the delivery service.
Great staff. Went three times in two days. Pad see ew was ordered all three times. Mild, medium and hot. Delicious. Yellow with chicken is comparable to the fancy places that charge x2. Also pad thai medium and mango sticky were SOLID. Lastly, large portions compared to overrated hipster places. Very friendly with kidos.
This place is great. We ordered Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, Guay Tiew Tom Yum, and mango sticky rice. They were all fantastic. The food, portions, service, and the background music were awesome. People here are chill and family friendly. I will go back here when I’m in Austin!
We order To Go and, It’s Too GOOD. Excellent quality. Chicken Pad Thai add spice to ur liking. Warning- they just changed their to go containers- they are smaller now. :O
We were passing through for work. Stayed at a hotel close by and were in a mood for some Thai. I had a coconut curry dish (pictured) and my coworker had chicken pad thai, both were delicious. Food came out fast and our server was very attentive. We were impressed! Especially what passes for food/service these days.
Someone really liked the Thai ice tea! We got the Forever Chicken Pad Thai and the Panang Curry Pad Thai! Absolutely amazing !!! The portions are so big and we save some food for next day !!! This place is nice for a cute date together and it’s a nice complex so there are other options around as well!
This is my wife and I’s go-to Thai place. I think the food is best when dining in, their fried rices and soups are great. The tom yum soup and mango sticky rice is my favorite. Dependable and decent service.
The first time I had the Pad See Ew, it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and a solid 4.5 stars. But on my second visit, it was dry and not as good, so I couldn’t even finish it. I’ll give them one more try based on my first experience, but if it happens again, I’ll have to find another spot for Thai food.
I just set $30 on fire. Flavorless food, just nasty. My entire lunch was thrown off! Tried two dishes both were awful. Like I had to spend more money to get something that tasted good. The waitress asked if I wanted a to go box but she knew the answer was no. My stomach hurts now and im upset I wasted money on that trash. I will never be back... should have gotten tacos now im upset I tried this new place.
My dish, pineapple fried rice was delicious, but my daughter's dish was awful. It was some kind of chicken(red sauce) was so tasteless. No seasoning at all. I hated that for her, because that was her first time there!
I feel scammed. OK, only a little scammed. This pad Thai is delicious, no doubt. But let’s get serious. I paid $15 for half a portion of pad Thai with chicken! I will never eat here again. The pricing and portion sizes here are absolute trash. I hope getting my money. This one time was worth it for this establishment.
Unacceptable. I ordered couple time, and they always made the wrong orders. One time ordered Pad thai with beef, and chicken satay, then the end up, I got 2 pad thai, one with beef and one with chicken. Today, I ordered again for my dinner at work, I ordered Pad thai beef again, they made Pad thai with pork. OMg, I have to work with nothing to eat. Because of religion, I totally can not eat pork. You guys have to carefully with what are you guy doing. What happens if someone have some specific allergies with ???? or like me, what can I eat tonight?
Unacceptable experience with contaminated food I want to share my recent experience at pad Thai cuisine ordered a takeout dish, and to my surprise, I found a cockroach 🪳 in the food. This situation is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant’s hygiene standards. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant would allow something like this to happen, especially when the health and safety of customers are at stake. I understand that every business can make mistakes, but this goes beyond a simple oversight. It’s crucial that proper measures are taken to ensure cleanliness at the establishment. I cannot recommend this restaurant after what happened, and I hope they will reconsider their hygiene practices to prevent other customers from having a similar experience.
Ordered over Uber eats and was really disappointed. The coconut shrimp were burnt on the outside, excessively coated and soaked in grease, and all stuck together. When I opened the box initially I didn’t recognize what it was. Pad thai flavor wasn’t enjoyable and noodles were a pile of mush. This was exceptionally bad.
