Hands down the best yogurt place in Austin! The staff are friendly and helpful. The seasonal and weekly flavors never seem to amaze me. The ingredients are high quality, every experience has been better than before. We have tried a lot of yogurt, gelato, and ice cream places in town, and by far we prefer Yogurt Planet.

They had great flavor options and healthier topping options, as well as quick service! They offer vegan versions of all their nitrogen ice creams. I'd recommend any of their tea based flavors👌🏼

Great place for a cold treat. I recommend the nitrogen ice cream, its so creamy, smooth, and delicious. Its not too cold and it doesn't melt quickly which is amazing.

Best yogurt place in the area. Menchies is also good but not in customer service. Yo So Cool in Mueller has a weird gritty texture. Yogurt Planet for the win! I also love that they always have a couple of seasonal flavors so whether you want an old favorite or something different, you can.

I wish they offered more than one tart flavor (they always have original plus a bunch of sweet flavors such as taro, chocolate, and fruity ones; two are rotated weekly ish). I like green tea flavor; apparently it wasn't popular when they tried it so it was taken out of rotation. Mid May '22 update: cookies n cream, salted caramel pretzel, matcha green tea, and Thai tea are all in the abundant rotation. 👍

I really like Yogurt Planet! Their yogurt is good, their topping bar is extensive and the customer service is good. They are far more affordable than Menchie's.

Great flavors and numerous toppings. The location is very quaint. They have a couple of large flat screen TVs you can watch while you enjoy your dessert. A perfect ending to dinner in the Triangle.

Good but no yogurtland. These guys offer a decent # of flavors but I've been there numerous times when original was the only tart offered. The whole point of yogurt is that it's a treat yet healthy - not so much when every flavor has a soda+ worth of sugar though! That said, I will admit the sweets are delicious. These guys have chocolate covered waffle cone as a topping and it's the most decadent topping there is. Salty, sweet, crunchy... just perfect. Pricing is reasonable for the area and certainly better than the froyo spot a mile away near Central Market.

This is my default froyo place--mainly because it's close to work and home but also because it's tasty. They usually have at least one non-dairy option as well. My froyo is pretty basic with original tart yogurt and some mochi. It does the trick. I tried some of the other flavors and they seem decent, but tart is the best.

I love self-serve frozen yogurt because I usually can't decide between fruity vs choclate/peanut butter flavors and so I end up having a cup filled with a number of creations. Needless to say, I've been to a number of Froyo places. Here are my pro's and cons of place: Pros: Great variety of flavors: Taro, Pumpkin, Salted Caramel Popcorn, as well as the original flavors. Great selection of toppings that were fully stocked. The fruit looked freshly cut and nothing was empty! Cons: Almost all of the flavors were a little melted. Sometimes I feel like when a flavor has been opened longer it can become melted. Maybe this was the case because I visited at 9pm? The owner was very stingey with the sample cups and only provided one. Note to owner: I'm just going to use the same sample cup and try all of the flavors, but now I'm just annoyed. I'll mostly likely return, but this definitely does not earn my loyalty over my beloved sixteen handles and yogurt land from Boston.

I am visiting from seattle, wa and i looooove frozen yogurt! This place looked soooo good and was exactly like other frozen yogurt places i have been to. It tasted very delicious, my sister and her husband got the same frozen yogurt that i did, except i got blackberries on top of mine. That night i got food poisoning, i was very ill the hole next day. I of coarse didn't jump to conclusion that it was Yogurt Planet, until i thought about what i had eaten that day. the blackberries were the only thing i ate that no one else did. So in conclusion the fruit is not necessarily safe to eat.

Worker named Cristy was unnecessarily rude about putting while I was grabbing my mask from my pocket and wouldn’t stop telling me to hand sanitize in an extremely rude tone, like I was not complying to the rules which I was. terrible customer service. 0/10

When asking for samples politely not only did the lady scream at us yelling no samples but then went off on a 5 minutes rants about every customer asking for samples. First of all, it makes no sense for a frozen yogurt shop not to offer samples in the first place — how else are customers supposed to choose a flavor? Instead of a simple explanation, we were met with rude, unprofessional behavior. Not only was the service unbelievably rude, but the yogurt itself was mediocre—definitely not worth your money or the treatment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, money, and patience—take your business elsewhere.

i had the most unpleasant experience at yogurt planet, i was one of the last customers and i guess that infuriated the young lady that was closing. she was passively rude and rushed me out of the establishment. on top of that i bought two small cups for almost $30?!?!?! i was very unhappy with the price and overall experience, i will not be coming back

The tables were dirty and left that way long after patrons left. Allergens are not prominent on the flavor cards. Plus they closed both the bathrooms because somehow both toilets are just broken (they weren’t they just didn’t want to have to deal with bathroom cleaning). I will go somewhere else next time.
