I recently dined at Taquero Mucho, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding—every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. From the fresh ingredients to the beautiful presentation, it was clear that the chefs put their heart into each creation. But what really set this place apart was the service. The staff were genuinely welcoming and attentive without being intrusive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering great recommendations and making sure we were completely satisfied. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for an awesome inviting atmosphere with delicious food, Taquero Mucho is a must-visit. I can't wait to come back
This place is definitely one of the cutest pinkest photo ops ever, but dare I say the food is even better. Often times if a place is mostly about aesthetics the rest falls flat, but NOT HERE, the food was so incredible and the drinks were super tasty too! Definitely give it a go!
This was definitely a super cute spot to have dinner for bachelorette weekend gathering. The chips and queso was delicious. The charro beans were also very tasty along with the jasmine rice to neutralize the flavors. Drinks were pricey but cute for the occasion. I would definitely recommend this place!
Do I need to tell you about this place? If you are here then it’s reputation has proceded itself. The atmosphere is great with a live DJ and party outside/ fun inside. The music was a great mix of modern and old school jams. The drinks have something for everyone. Take a look at the menu and be adventurous! The tacos are brilliant as well as an awesome brunch menu. There is limited parking at the location. We chose to go ahead and park around the corner which is about $8 and hour. Not too bad. We spent about two hours eating after waiting for about 45 min. But hey, it was a holiday weekend. Have fun!
This place was super cute with the different deco. I loved that it was girlie and the food was delish surprisingly. I would definitely go back and reccomend people to go. Whoever created this place put a lot of effort and thought into the creative process which I greatly appreciate. Our waitress was very attentive and the wait wasn't too long at all for a Saturday night. I would go back for the drinks for sure.
We had the best time/experience at the soft opening! The decor/aesthetic is so, so beautiful, love how trendy everything is. Oh yeah and the tortillas are pink! - actually everything is pink! The food and drinks were super tasty, looking forward to our next visit, the crispy shrimp tacos were superb, I regret not getting a picture of them! 😊
Food was really good here! We were greeted and seated as soon as the host had a chance. Great photo opportunities everywhere & an awesome atmosphere. It was extremely hot that day & it think we would've been better off sitting outside than inside. I had crunchy shrimp tacos & they were very good. Their Highest in the Room drink with CBD tasted good, but I didn't feel any effects. I also tried my friend's corn salad & that was amazing. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Another friend's food was a little cold (I think they were waiting to take all our food out together) but our server took care of it & warmed it up for her.
It's a beautiful little restaurant (unless you don't like the color pink 💓, nor red ♥️ roses 🌹😁)! The food portions are large and tasty! And they have the best tres leches I've ever eaten! Our waitress was a darling young lady! All in all, it was a great experience. I just wish that I would have thought 🤔 to take some pictures. 😔
Omg! We love this place. I don't know how we've missed it before. Anyway, customer service is the best, server is very attentive and the food is delicious 😋 yummy! It's a very cute place, they have nice backgrounds for pictures all over the place. Oh, and live DJ,2 thumbs up for that. We sat at the outside patio because the day was beautiful.
At Taqueria Mucho, everyone loved the veggie enchiladas - both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The salsa flight was a fun addition to the meal. Although the elotes and fries were decent, the shrimp tacos were a favorite among my friends. The service was friendly and added to the enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant's pink-themed decor gave a playful touch to the ambiance, making it visually appealing. Taqueria Mucho offers delicious options and a cozy atmosphere to savor Mexican cuisine.
Honestly such a fun and cute place to go! Perfect for bachelorette parties, bridal/baby showers or just a fun time. The aesthetic is on point and the staff are so friendly. Truly an experience dining here and the food was AMAZING. It’s woman and Latina owned so that’s even better in my opinion. Definitely a must go!!
First and foremost the atmosphere here is 1000/10. Amazing execution and dedication to their theme. It is very artfully done and such a fun experience eating here. The food and drinks even stick to the theme. The servers are all incredibly friendly. The atmosphere here is just amazing. Absolutely recommend for that alone. The food is good, served quickly and in good portion sizes, and not too pricey. Their mocktails were very good with several options. Definitely would come back here again!!
We went to this restaurant to celebrate Going to Nicki Minaj’s concert. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and even held the door open for my friend (Who has a disability, and needs a cane) The food was delicious, we ordered the Pollo de Tinga Tacos, which came with rice & beans. I was a little afraid the food might not be seasoned (Since we’re in Austin) but the Tacos were delicious, & the restaurant was very beautifully decorated. The aesthetic and ambience was so cute. We got a lot of cute pics here! Definitely recommend this place.
Went because I saw it listed on places to visit when in Austin for cute pics. This place did not disappoint. It had several spots where you could go pose for pics 📸 and at first I wasn't even going to go in and order anything but I don't regret it. We had the birria tacos 🌮 and it was bomb! The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. Maybe they're used to people going just for pics but the staff who helped us even went outside with us just to take our photos!🙌🏻
I absolutely loved this place! I’m not sure why it only got 4.0 stars on google but food and ambience it’s a 5 out of 5! My husband and I ate here on our anniversary trip and it was so fun, unique and pink! The cocktails were fun and the food was surprisingly amazing! Some of the best tacos we’ve had! It’s a great place for fun photo ops and perfect for girls brunch, parties, etc. if your limited on time in Austin at least pencil this place in! You will not be disappointed!
Omg! This place is very aesthetically pleasing! The outside is just as lovely, it was very humid when I went so we decided to eat inside instead but I do not regret it! Our server was very great and fun! Made sure we were well taken care of and even brought out some celebration stuff for the batch party we were having!
This restaurant is delightfully designed with thoughtful touches on every wall and ceiling. Several spots were obviously designed to result in great pics. Their happy hour menu offers several drinks and small plates for six dollars. It has a main front dining room with bar, a rear dining room facing the creek, and a patio to the side. They have a small parking lot and paid street parking on adjacent roads.
If pink is your favorite color then this is your place. It came very recommended for girls trip or bachelorette trip. I can where with six of my girlfriends and we had a blast taking photos and eating in. We walking without a reservation and was able to get a nice seat. They play bomb music it was majority around Taylor swift and queen B! Value - fair Ambiance - it’s great, you can actually hear your date occasionally and jam out to good music. Service - they were very busy but the waiter only came by twice to take order and drop off the order. Taste - good Overall - I recommend ♥️
The place is absolutely stunning! I love Tacquero Mucho, and I appreciate the amount of effort they put into the place in making it perky and cute for people to enjoy eating. The drinks are served in absolutely adorable cups, and the prices are okay (a bit expensive but not too expensive)
Came here on a Thursday night with a group of 8 girls and the place was at about 30% capacity, so you could have easily gotten seated right away. I liked the vibe of this place and the food was good too! This spot is great for big groups and if you are looking for opportunities to take pictures
My sister suggested this place so we checked out on New Years Day. We paid for parking so heads up on that. No wait so we were seated right away. The choriqueso was delicious. Along with the rest of the food. The service was great and it was priced as expected. The vibes are cute and I heard they are opening another location. I’d check it out! Everything was seasoned well. My
I recently dined at Taquero Mucho on West Ave in Austin, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our server, Luis, provided truly outstanding service. He was attentive, professional, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Luis’s warm demeanor and genuine care elevated our entire dining experience. It’s rare to receive service that feels both thoughtful and seamless, and his efforts did not go unnoticed. The food was wonderful, but the hospitality made our visit truly memorable. My family and I will be returning soon!
Came in with family and were greeted. I can not remember our waitress name but she was very helpful and took her time in taking our orders. She sweet and humble. Also communicated very well in English and Spanish. Ordered the chipotle quesadillas and they were very good. Aside from the beans with hot dogs (which I was not a fan of) my order was very good and tasty. Also ordered the mangolada which was very well prepared. The one order that was very yummy is the chips and cheese. I’m not sure how it’s prepared but it’s very good with the pink chips. Everyone at out table had a taste that we ordered a second one. I joked with the waitress about getting a gallon of cheese to go.
Not gonna lie. I thought the vibe of this place was an indication that the food would be subpar. I was anticipating wanna be Mexican food that was leaving something more to be wanted. I was wrong. Taquero Mucho offered vibes and delicious eats! I was lucky enough to come during happy hour so I enjoyed the Let That Mango margarita, order of elote and asada street tacos. The marg was delicious and refreshing. The elote was fire. The meat on the street tacos tasted sooo good. Authentic flavors for sure. Super cute photo ops by the way! Non Happy hour prices looked a little higher but the flavor would make it totally worth it. Not super expensive, not super cheap. Parking is not free so take note of that! The lot that serves Taquero Mucho and Irene’s charges $12 for the hour. Keep that in mind.
This is my second time coming to taquero mucho and if I already loved it this second time around was 10/10 delicious food, atmosphere and vibe. Our server Aryn was a highlight of our service! She was amazing and provide us with personal favorite recommendations that tasted amazing ! She really outdid herself with the service and I will be definitely coming back soon ! The crunchy shrimp and birria taco… no words you just need to try them yourself.
The food in Texas does not disappoint! I asked one of the locals where there was a great place to eat in Austin and Taquero Mucho was mentioned. The Pink Tacos made it an easy decision! Everything was delicious, the High Maintenance was a kick in the pants, and our server was so sweet. She even gave us some stickers!
Wow, the atmosphere and theming here is absolutely amazing and it even carries on into the food! If you want a pink taco, you'll have to order the corn tortillas as opposed to flour. Service was pretty great too. We arrived around 1PM so it wasn't that busy and we got to have fun taking our time taking photos outside with all the props. The only downside is that the parking lot outside of the restaurant is a paid lot, which we didn't realize before, and it's at $12.50/hr. Just be aware!
Fast service! My friends and I came to try the birria tacos and I had the birria ramen. They liked the tacos and I loved the ramen! It was delicious and came with nice buttery pan. The orange juice could be better. The bathrooms were clean and I loved the decor! Especially the bathroom picture 😂 Note: parking was super expensive when we came on ACL weekend. It was $20 for an HOUR. That’s so greedy. I don’t think that’s the restaurant fault though.
Went yesterday. 11/30/25 I had the Mexican style burger, and I have to say that it was absolutely amazing. This is the BEST Mexican style burger that I have had in a WHILE! Do not take that lightly, as I had burgers in Zacatecas and CDMX earlier this year. This was by far the best! Staff was great and allowed us to have our pets at the patio outside, and even brought us a water bowl. Overall great experience!
Seeing as my favorite color is pink i obviously had to hit up this place and it did not disappoint the food was great, the drinks were amazing and its genuinely so beautiful not to mention the good music selection playing. A really sweet waiter took my picture cause I was alone, I forgot to ask for his name but he was just the sweetest. Really recommend this place to everyone specially pink lovers who love some Bad Bunny and Rauw haha
Very cute place for bachelorette parties! Lots of places for pictures. We made a reservation so there was no wait to be seated. The service was slow, but they were somewhat busy towards the end of our meal. They don’t have complimentary salsa. But the salsa flight was good. The carnitas platter was good and shareable! I got a jalapeño margarita and it wasn’t spicy at all but the flavor was good. The French toast was good too!
The food was incredible — fresh and flavorful. Their pink margaritas were a highlight too! The whole restaurant is seriously adorable, with so many great photo opportunities around every corner. Whether you're going for the food, drinks, or just the vibe, Pink Taqueria is definitely worth a visit. I can’t wait to go back!
best customer service ever! The ambience is always a vibe and the staff is so kind. The brunch experience is top 5 in atx; their chilaquiles are 10/10. The owner was checking in with his team and customers plus the bartender ,Orlando, is one the best you’ll ever get served by! The playlist is also fire
From the moment we walked into Taquero Mucho on West Ave, we knew we were in for a fun experience. The vibe is colorful and upbeat, the food was packed with flavor, especially the Tacos Dorados and Avocado Cream Enchiladas, and everything came out just right. But the real standout of the night was our server Luis. He brought such a positive energy to our table and made us feel completely taken care of. He checked in at all the right times, made great recommendations, and handled everything with confidence and kindness. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it makes all the difference. Great food gets you in the door — great service brings you back. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Austin!
Excellent food and awesome service! 🌸 Super cute, pink, and fun spot. The brunch DJ music was way too loud (sounding like we were at a dance club)—hard to talk—but once the DJ left, the default music wasn't as loud. Parking is located on the same property but is run by an outside company with extremely high fees. Tip: free street parking on Sundays (maybe Saturdays too ). Overall, loved the food and vibe!

This place is an entire vibe. We first came across this place on TikTok as a must see while in Austin (good looking out!) We were inspired by this restaurant being a Latina owned restaurant who is evidently full of creativity. We had seen come reviews that the food wasn’t so great but .. I’m not sure what they are because everything we tried was amazing. Our server (I believe his name was John?!) was fabulous — so personable, attentive + he added to the experience. All things pink, fun — and screams this place is for bad***** Make a point of visiting here if you can, well worth it!
Taquero Mucho is a vibe! We went on a Friday evening and was told it would be an hour wait. We were seated within 30-40 minutes. There’s a bar and plenty of photo ops to preoccupy you while you wait. The best thing were the drinks, one drink was enough. We also had shots and they were good too. The queso was thick and not creamy at all. I wish their was more variety on the menu. Overall it’s the aesthetics that draw people here not the food. Service was good. I’m eager to try their sister restaurant Gabriela’s.
We stopped in for a quick bite to eat, and we got the appetizer elote. We expected it to be a shareable size but were a bit disappointed because it is tiny. Customer service could have been a bit better as we went when there was not too many other customers. Parking is over 20$ in the lot the business is on so be expecting that. If paying that parking is unnecessary then there are no clear signs for guests of the restaurant to see. Atmosphere is great and there is an excellent cocktail selection.
My friend and I pay a visit to this restaurant and everything is good. The food is decent love the meat they use high quality. The ambiance is Instagramable love they have at least four spots for you to take photos. But the downside the location is not updated. Always leads me to the main branch which is so opposite to the new one.
For a small little place, it has a lot of noise. My first time here, the food was great and filling. I wish our waitress came to check in on us more. She never asked if I needed any refills or any other types of drinks. I think we were a little too generous on the tip, but I hope she comes around more often to people. She checked in on us, maybe twice. We went up to the counter to get our ticket and to go containers. I will certainly come again, though.
I approve. But not because of the food, don't get me wrong all the dishes we ordered were great tasting but nothing to brag home to. The reason I approve of this is because of the concept. I really liked this place because it was made to have a fun time at. You can have a drink, have some chips and guac, tasty Mexican dishes all while enjoying a cute space with good friends. Photo ops definitely available here.
Cute place for instagram photos & fun environment! The drinks were pretty amazing! On a Saturday night there was about a 2 hour wait (lol) and then when we finally seated, they were out of some of the options we wanted to order. The service was subpar. The food was also just decent.
A very strange place and that’s the vibe we were looking for. It’s making it charming in a weird way. The drinks menu is pretty funny and you get quite good options. The staff could be a bit nicer overall but no big complaints either. Didn’t get any food there so I can’t comment on that really. I guess the place is a must go for a visit of Austin. It’s also ideally located on the 6th street which is where the party happens. Overall I’d recommend tourist to go.
I stopped here shortly after I arrived to Austin as I wanted a quick drink. The interior is very welcoming and definitely a good photo op! I sat at the bar and enjoyed the variety of sauces with fresh chips and the margarita flight 🍹 I loved all of my drinks but of course the ones with tajin on the rims were my favorite. The crowd at the time seemed very young and I asked the bartender about this who mentioned it may have been due to it being summer break. Other than that, the establishment was lovely!
This place has a great atmosphere and aesthetic. The drinks were a little expensive but strong so that’s okay. The food wasn’t great, the tacos didn’t have much flavor. But this seems like a place you would go to if you want cute pictures, not amazing food. Also just be aware: it costs $27 to park in their parking lot.
This place is cute but definitely a place to go for the aesthetics and cute IG photo ops. When we got there, there was wait line to put your name on the list, the girl at the front would disappear and when she came back she said it would be an hour wait. So we waited, we never got called, we had to walk to the front, where no one was to be found until she came back and she did apologize and said she was the only one there (why? The place was packed!) Well she could not see the next seating but she went to go find a table. We sat down and I noticed empty tables full of dirty dishes. The waitress came and took our drink orders, I had a regular house margarita which was not impressive at all, it had no flavor. She then took our dinner order and that surprisingly did not take long to come out, the food was delicious. It had plenty of flavor and it tasted fresh. Prices were very decent, nothing crazy. The patios were super cute with plenty of places to take pictures at. Another downside is that they have two restrooms for the whole place which is ridiculous, we had to wait in line for a while to use it, and they were disgusting, no one came to clean them. I would not come back here personally because they have a lot to fix here and having cute aesthetics is not enough.
Great spot for a late night taco! The back patio area wasn't seating when I arrived (Sat at 11ish PM) so we dined indoors at the bar and enjoyed prompt friendly service from both the waiter and bar tender. The ambience of the place is fun, with music playing and the patrons coming and going to/from nightlife spots nearby. The Paloma shooter and shrimp tacos were great!
This was fun! I liked the atmosphere (it was a bit loud with the music for talking at brunch but it was definitely a vibe). And the food was great! We didn’t order any drinks but the table next to us did and they looked great!
Server was quick and efficient also helped with selecting drinks. We had margaritas and appetizers and all was delicious. The downtown restaurant is small with minimal seating.Tables are placed closely together so it hard to get up and move around once seated. Overall it’s still a fun place to check out if you’re in downtown Austin.
Such a cute place for brunch and for getting some tasty eats and photo ops! Went here for my friends bachelorette party and safe to say she picked a great spot to start the day. The food was presented nicely and in big portions. Depending on what you get it could also be in pink. There was also a live dj playing. When you are done eating you can take some instagram worthy pics outside in the back! The only thing that was a downer was having to pay for the parking,we had to park somewhere else on the street and just walked
We went to the downtown location for my daughter’s 18th Birthday 🎂 celebration 🎉 everywhere was pink. It had great photo opportunities and the music was good, it was just too loud that you couldn’t hear conversation or even your waitress when ordering. The food was delicious. I had the avocado enchiladas but asked for beef and was delicious. My daughter and her friends sat at one table of 8 and my husband and I sat at the bar. It took my husband and I 45 minutes to get our dinner and my daughter’s table a total of an hour and twenty minutes.
Been here for a quick lunch during a very hot Sunday. You could say this place is a bit eccentric considering is all cloaked in pink, with balloons hanging from the ceiling and loud music, but that’s part of the game. It could seems like a weird touristy place but the place was actually frequented just by locals - at least on that day. Anyway we got some Guacamole with (pink) Nachos and some kind of soft (pink) meat tacos from the brunch menu and all was very good, nothing more to say about it. Prices are aligned with the overall price range of Austin I guess, maybe just a bit higher than other taco places (14-16$ for a dish) and service was very nice and welcoming from start to finish. I won’t give 5 stars just because I’d like to try more items (also the drinks looked very interesting), but the overall experience was pretty good.
Cutest pink restaurant around! I made sure to take pictures EVERYWHERE! The drinks are definitely something as well.. recommend high maintenance (cbd infused watermelon margaritas). ⚠️However too overpriced to come here⚠️The parking is 20$ minimum for 1 hr, each cocktail is 16$, and food is not worth the price either since the flavor is average at best. It was my friends bday and David our awesome server/bartender made the experience worth while and he alone deserves 10 stars! Best recommendations and so sweet, thank you for the wonderful service:)
A significantly better version of its Domain counterpart, Taquero Mucho’s downtown location is a bit smaller but has upgrades across the board. The staff was very attentive, the food was great, and the drinks/vibe were very fun. This is right off of 6th so parking can be iffy but they do have a parking lot attached so if it’s not full then you’re in luck. When we arrived we were seated quickly and the staff let us move things around to fit our party of 5 since most tables only fit 4 and they can get crowded. We ordered the guava cosmo rita and malibu barbie for drinks and both were good, fruity and sweet. For food we ordered a plain cheese quesadilla and the chipotle enchiladas. Both were good with the quesadilla being pretty filling and soft and the enchiladas being packed with flavor (plus they come with rice and beans on the side). Our server was great as well, very attentive and the food and drinks came out quickly. This location was a step up from our last experience at The Domain one and we can see ourselves returning here for a good meal and drinks to kick off a night of fun on West 6th.
We were drawn in by the buzz around their pink tacos! But the vibrant atmosphere was the star of the show—absolutely perfect. The tacos and sopas were delicious, but we were let down by the choriqueso. Unfortunately, the cheese congealed into a solid mass far too quickly, which was a disappointment. But we’d come back for the main entree!
Super crowded and music is good but quite loud so it’s hard to talk that’s why I’m giving 4 stars. The waiter that services us was nice. I ordered the beef tacos (forgot the actual name on menu) and it was nicely seasoned. The sauce was nice and spicy so be careful. I ordered a mango margarita on the rocks and it was pretty good and strong. My friend ordered something with guava and she liked her drink. She also had the avocado with chicken (forgot to take pic) and she Really liked hers. She said it was very flavorful.
I feel like this place just needs a little TLC and their marketing team to come back. It IS so cute, but the bathroom is losing its aesthetic, dirty, wall paper peeling. The service was great, parking lot easy but expensive, I wish they would validate or give you a code once you ordered. Menu was awesome, if you can read small fonts! They have a very large selection of mocktails and that was amazing. We will definitely be back, but I’d love to see her back in her prime!
Food was good . Service sucked . It came out quick but out waitress came around twice and no more after we ordered .

Looks nice and the line was quick. Where most places average an hour Waite brunch- noisy based on acoustics of warehouse look- happy and pink- flower walls and pink theme _ a good experience and drinks- under $15 per person so affordable and good service. Food was well plated and good portions but lacked flavor. The focus seems more drink focus. Plenty of service on hand. Good location- parking is limited but plenty if you find one. Overall 3.5
Would only recommend going for the aesthetic, as you can guess the food is very overpriced for what you’re actually given and is decent but not worthy of 15-18+ dollars plus the long wait it took to get my food was kind of ridiculous. The drinks are fantastic and the virgin strawberry lemonade I had was the best ! If anyone were to go here just get a drink and maybe an appetizer and spend your money on food somewhere else. The photo ops are pretty cool and beautiful and I definitely love the aesthetic of the place. A unique one time experience for sure !
I came here for my birthday dinner, with a large party of 15. Hostess very friendly and accommodating. We needed at least 80% of a party to be seated.. they had the table ready within 15 minutes. Our server was very bland, he seemed frustrated as soon as we got seated. When we would ask for waters with ice, because the water he brought to our table what is room temperature, his body language seemed frustrated. Was not friendly at all.. as we waited for the rest of our party to arrive, I told him multiple times we were not ready. We were waiting for them to get here.. he would just walk away and roll his eyes as if he was annoyed! He did give us a notice as soon as we sat down that he would not split the checks. It would all be on one big bill, but he could take separate cards to make the payments. So you must keep track of your own food and drinks. (it literally took us about 20 minutes just to find out who had to pay for work, so definitely would be a lot easier if he’s with the checks by party, gratuity was already included which we expected.) We placed our order as soon as everyone arrived, food came out within 15 to 25 minutes, our plates were scattered we had to find our own food. Some of the food came out cold, one of our tortas bistek meat was so hard like jerky that we had to send it back. I would rate the food six out of 10. Some of it was tasty, but some of the things could’ve been a lot better. Beans have hotdogs in them which I was not fan of. Shrimp Ceviche was very good a bit spicy. Fajitas were very good as well. Not all things were bad. Just wish we had a more happy friendly attentive server, we were given the smallest cups of water , so we constantly had to keep asking for more .. which seem to frustrate him. I definitely recommend you coming out with a smaller group or maybe just a couple in order to get the best experience. Appetizers were good. Not your usual, authentic Mexican food more like Tex-Mex. The vibes in there were pretty cool, they had a great music, definitely a very cool scenery to take pictures. Clean bathrooms. And some pretty good drinks.
The food is great, but there's always a wait. This place truly needs to renovate or find a bigger location. You have to wait a long time for everything. There is always over an hour wait to be seated. You can order drinks while you wait, but there's a long line for that, plus you still have to wait for your drinks to be made. (They are amazing drinks though!) The food is delicious! Definitely worth trying if you're patient enough. Some good quality tex-mex! I think this would be better enjoyed at night so that you can truly appreciate all the pink and lights, but the mosquitos and natural elements make that a real challenge. They make an effort with the covered patio and umbrellas, but it was still a bit much for my party. There are only 2 unisex, single stall restrooms. With the amount of guest here, that means get in line for the restroom 20 min before you actually have to go. The customer service could be a bit better, but there are no real complaints in this department. There are plenty of photo ops and souvenirs that are worth the visit, and the staff is generally helpful. Parking is very limited and not free! Digital paid parking on the restaurants lot. In all, its an amazing restaurant, our couple of experiences were just not the best. I think one visit is enough, just to say that you've been.
The atmosphere and general aesthetic of the place was amazing! Some of the waiters were a lot friendlier to other customers than myself. The service was pretty slow and the vibe from our waiter was very stand-of fish. Felt like I was being ignored a bit. Very cute and photo worthy place.
Taquero Mucho is like stepping into a pink wonderland—think Barbie’s IKEA Dreamhouse meets a taqueria. The decor is unapologetically pink, making it a hotspot for bachelorette parties and birthday celebrations. During our visit for my daughter’s birthday, the vibrant atmosphere was a hit with the kids, who were more interested in snapping photos than eating. The menu offers a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos and enchiladas, all presented with a distinctive pink theme. However, the food itself was somewhat underwhelming, lacking the bold flavors one might expect from authentic Mexican cuisine. Taquero Mucho is an Instagrammer’s paradise, perfect for those looking to capture vibrant photos in a lively setting. While the culinary experience may not leave a lasting impression, the unique ambiance makes it worth a visit, especially for special occasions.
good happy hour with great cocktails. in a fun pink atmosphere! \nthe waiters are super nice .\nI do love their mini tacos of the HH menu five is great! Guac is yummy with that orange yummy salsa!

I didn’t like the kitchen at all, it was spicy and tasteless🤮 (I don’t like spicy food). I left not full The only thing you can come here for is to take a lot of cool photos for girls, because there are very beautiful photo zones here. Everything looks beautiful, but you can see that the materials are cheap and it's unpleasant. The prices seemed too high to me. Location in downtown.
I went here for the first time last night with couple of my coworkers and was sorely disappointed. The place was cute and fun and the drinks were good the service was awful. The restaurant was mostly empty as expected for a Wednesday night but our waiter Angel was sure busy on his phone it took over 20 minutes just for me to get my Malibu Barbie drink and angel kept walking away while we were in the middle of talking and ordering and even got some food wrong more than once over all I was very unhappy with the service we got.
Date of service was 2/14. We had reservations for 7pm for a larger party than expected, when asking the host if possible to expand our party size by 2 people from 6 to 8 he was very dismissive and said it wasn’t allowed. We had asked our server if we could by chance move tables and chairs to accommodate for this. Our server (Helena) was super friendly with this and was able to accommodate this. Whilst we were adjusting the table situation the host who had came over started saying this wasn’t allowed due to him having reservations for a table for the same time as ours of 7pm. It’s 8pm at the time of writing this and the table that were originally trying to move had no party come for this “reservation.” really hope he can take the feedback and apply it to what he does moving forward coming from someone who works in the hospitality industry, this is not how to treat your customers especially if you want to protect your brand and continue to drive customers into your business.
Just for the socials. Waitress had an attitude... I got my food and I know my order said refried beans... She straight up gaslighted me saying .. nooo it said charro and that my husbands was the one with refried beans. She made such a big deal out of it my husband was like.. just take mine .. like I was already dealing with a toddler and you over here acting like I'm wrong in the situation. She soured my experience. I came on here to view the menu and GUESS WHAT!? It did say refried. The waitress was lucky she even got 5 bucks, instead of the 18%. Also... Beware... It's paid parking and it's about 19 bucks for an HOUR! It was ok food. My carnitas were kind of mostly hard pieces, I couldnt even share with the baby. I felt they rushed everything out to the table. I was not impressed but hey... At least it's pretty enough for the socials.
came in from out of town with some friends to do a mini food tour on tacos and ATX food and stop by here, long story short, I wouldn't come here ever again. We did not get greeted, there was no hos…
No way, Jose is all I can say. The place is cute and has some decent outdoor seating, and early morning alcohol options so I am betting a lot of the appeal, but the food was something I don't want to eat again. We could only eat off of the limited brunch menu which had chicken and waffles or a few lunch-like items with an egg thrown on it. Speaking of eggs!!! The restaurant needs to get a new cook or train him/her on the proper way to cook eggs...3 people sitting around me all sent their fried eggs back and when they came back, looked almost the same, cooked fast and hot to create that dark brown crunch we all love and they actually served the little dried up pucks. I tried to play it safe and order scrambled on the side, but nope, I got served dried up, unseasoned, awful litte blobs of yellow egg. My chilequilles tasted like canned enchilada sauce poured over the tortillas, the potatoes were soaked in grease (I don't believe the menu said they had big pieces of onion and jalapeño in it...could have missed that, but it was unexpected). OMG, who mixes HOT DOGS in pinto beans? They weren't even good hot dogs!! Spanish Beanie Weenie, nope not going there.. Lastly, the server was a nice young guy who stood at the counter 5 feet away from me and never checked on us. My plate sat basically untouched for 30 min. and when he finally wanted to give our check, he asked how was everything and of course I asked to have my meal taken off of the bill, which he did, thank you. I won't be eating here again. For the reviewer who said this was like one of our other local restaurants, I don't know how many drinks they had before writing the review, but please don't compare the two restaurants...nothing alike.
Inside is beautiful but looks can be deceiving. The atmosphere was extremely cold, the service was poor and the food was disgusting. They are an insult to Latino cuisine. There was hardly any body there.... that's a sign ! But it was a BD celebration.
I made a reservation for 8:30pm and I had specifically picked an inside table option only to be told we could be seated outside, at the bar, or wait 45 minutes. Extremely disappointed. Two couples ahead of us with no reservation were seated with NO wait. Decided to go with outside since my friend and I had paid for an expensive uber that night just to get there. The covered outside is a joke. Had no character and the heaters melted one of the fans right behind our table so we were surrounded by 3 employees with one trying to unstick the fan up on a ladder and the others joking with him. Made us very uncomfortable. After a few minutes we were taken back inside because a table was open. Live DJ was cool but the music was way too loud. Drinks were yummy. Food was not good at all. We got steak added to our bland queso and it was tough and hard to chew. My friend’s tacos had too much fat in them. My shrimp tacos were cold and greasy. Clearly this place is just meant for aesthetics. Social media picture grab with subpar food. Hard to go to another place on Valentines so we stuck it though. But why have booking reservations available if the option I picked is unavailable when I show up on time. Then we get a 45 minute wait for an inside table when two couples ahead with no reservation were seated. That is absolutely ridiculous. This was an extremely disappointing night. No accommodations, no apologies. I will not be back. I will make sure to tell anyone I can to stay away from this place.
Was not as 'aesthetic' as I hoped. First off, we were sat outdoors in over 100 degree weather. I went back to the host stand and asked kindly, if there was any availability indoors. She told me "it's super packed. It's 45 minutes." Most restaurants give you a seating option, when you first check-in, had I initially been made aware of the wait, we would have chosen to wait. I sat back down outside. Our waitress was standoff-ish, didn't smile, and overall had a bad attitude. I peaked inside and there were so many available tables. The food was mediocre. Bathroom was filthy. My bill was $15.06. I gave my waitress a $20 bill and 6 cents and she told me, "I don't have change." And had attitude over it. As if it's MY fault no other employee in the entire restaurant had change for a $20 bill. Also, as a warning, there wasno available parking and we had to park 2 streets away. Luckily i found 1 open spot. So be prepared to walk. We won't be returning. Bad first impression.
First day in Austin, Tik Tok suggestion to come here. Upon arrival at lunch time- no cars but just thought I’m a little early. Immediately went to restroom, TERRIBLE bathroom. Just look at a few pictures I took. Wall paper torn in various places, dirty floor, spit in the sink, trash looked like it happened to not be changed the night before. Greeted by a young lady, no other guests, sat at bar. Dirty floors, corners, the ceiling was flaking off, the list goes on. While waiting- just the over all dirty scenery smuggled within the “at one time cute pink theme” made my decision the food prep/kitchen area would be just as bad. Decided to treat myself to an over priced cocktail poured into a honey jar. I liked the sticker. Since I was wanting a light snack just after landing with my cocktail. I struggled to just have my drink only and leave but was so hungry from flying. I chose to get the corn with less risk of food poisoning. Surprised it didn’t come from a can and all dressed up (as I have dealt with at other places while traveling). The young staff lady wasn’t very sociable with me. Overall, don’t suggest coming to this place. DEFINITELY cleanliness is out of order.
Took us over 1 hour to get drinks , food came out cold and they service was awful even though the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Would never recommend to anyone or go back. If you’re looking for a fun aesthetic place it doesn’t even reach those expectations.
It is so sad when you walk into a restaurant with so much potential. I am sitting next to a massive mess. I wonder if 15 toddlers were just here. But the bothersome thing about it is there are just employees standing around. Geez. I would never hire these people. They are completely stagnant. No one here is remotely interested in doing their job. Good margaritas but other than that useless. Spend your money elsewhere. There are way better mexican restaurants nearby.
