First visit, 39th anniversary lunch. Couldn't have been better!! Excellent tacos!! Service was immediate and the owners made it special!!

We went for machetes on Friday. The chicken is a bit spicy for the alambre was amazing. They were so good, we went back Saturday for the birria tacos with consome. Oh my goodness. Wow! The wait was a little long, but they gave me a free taco for the wait. Will return

Stopped by Cielo Tacos to try some of their best options and I absolutely love the cemita, the guacamole with mango habanero and their super tasty machetes 🥰👌… 100% recommended

My family and I went here two weeks ago and it was worth the 45 min drive!! We've been coming here since they were in Aurora and haven't been able to get over to their new location since they've moved. But happy we finally did and the food was as fresh and as good as we remembered. Everyone is so friendly there too, you definitely won't be disappointed if you stop by.

The machete de al pastor was amazing! The margarita was so good, and it didn’t taste like alcohol at all. They accommodate to any requests, and were very sweet. Definitely coming back!

We’ve been to this restaurant a few times, and it’s always a fantastic experience! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food is consistently amazing, and this time, we tried the street corn fries—they were a huge hit! We love exploring their unique and adventurous menu items, and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is so fun and inviting. One of the first things you notice when you walk in is the photo wall, which is perfect for snapping a selfie or group picture. It’s those little details that make the place stand out. We can’t wait to come back and see what other creative dishes they have to offer! Update: We came for the all you can eat buffet, and it did not disappoint. Not only was their more food variety than advertised, but the services were impeccable! I highly recommend coming in for the breakfast buffet!

Cielo tacos is more than tacos they had menudo and it was so tasty and flavorful! Their tacos were so delicious and fresh, i got skirt steak ones (small tortilla) I got El Bebe drink which is a non alcoholic topochico with clamato, lime and chile Pequin. I loved the place is so cute and photogenic and clean! A gem in Plano, IL. Plus, its very affordable.

Food: Admittedly, I get the grilled fish tacos almost every time I go here. So, obviously, I love them. I’ve also enjoyed the shrimp tacos & the elote fries. I would deem this good, authentic Mexican food. Silverware: Thin, clean, wrapped in a napkin. Typical cafe fork. Service: The waitresses have been attentive and friendly. Chips & bean dip basket when seated. Two salsa varieties brought to the table. Water glass was filled twice. Sometimes one waitress is in charge of takeout & tables. In this case, we’ve just had to be patient. An extra 5 minute wait for our check isn’t a big deal When Javier has served our table, he’s always sure to accommodate and let’s us know the kitchen will try and help with food preferences Bathroom: Clean. It’s a newer restaurant & the bathrooms reflect that Physical Menu: Clean. Laminated. I believe it will be updated soon to reflect the new items Note: Some of the menu items are in Spanish (with no English explanations). Just ask the server, if you have questions. Also, you may not specifically see veggie tacos or veggie burrito on the menu, but they can make them (our table guest had one & enjoyed it) Overall Cleanliness & Atmosphere: Very clean, very bright, almost stark? That doesn’t bother me at all. I’d rather have a place starkly decorated than have dusty decorations. If there was one complaint, it would be that the TV audio is competing with the overhead music—which can have some loud commercials at times. Would I go back? Yes! I’ve met friends here & taken my family here. All have enjoyed their meals.

I absolutely loved this place, the chef has been very creative and is offering a menu full of authentic options that are not very frequently seen in your typical Mexican joint. I loved the presentation of the food and the atmosphere, the service was amazing, the owner made us feel like home, he greeted us when we walked in and brought us chips with 3 different types of salsa and a cute little cup made out of tortilla full of fresh refried beans with cheese on top. We ordered Tacos and the Street Corn Fries but all the other items on the menu looked amazing, we are definitely going back to try them all.

I found this hidden gem on Google while searching for Birria Tacos. They had stellar reviews and the food looked amazing. Well, Cielo Tacos did not disappoint! Everything was good! I ordered the Birria tacos and Alambre tacos, along with rice & beans. All of the meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the refried beans tasted like they were made fresh in-house. I happened to meet the owner while picking up my food. He was extremely nice & personable, and I could tell that he takes pride in his food. I will definitely be returning to get more Birria tacos, or even a Machete.

Cielito Tacos is hands down my new go-to taco spot. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the flavor and seasoning were on point across the board. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. If you’re looking for authentic tacos with great flavor and friendly service, this is the place. And on top of that, $1 tacos on Tuesdays is a steal. Highly recommend Cielito Tacos if you’re in the area and searching for the best tacos around. I’ll definitely be back.

Gotta love taco Tuesday 🌮 This was my first time at Cielo Tacos. I had 5 hard and 5 soft shell beef tacos both were great. Dollar tacos on Tuesday hit the spot as affordable, I can't remember the last time I saw dollar options anywhere. The waiter was extremely helpful and kind.

We were so impressed with Cielo Tacos from the moment we walked in. Very clean, decorated very cute and such a nice owner, Javier. He personally took our order and made sure to get whatever we needed. We had the Jefe Machete and the Toxica Cemita. Both were so good. We have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants all over the US so we have pretty high standards. Definitely would visit again if in the area.

Fantastic lime margarita. Highly recommend the Mango Habanero Guacamole. The mango really gave it a nice flavor. The birria Machete was flavorful! Lots of competition in the taco business and this one I would return to.

The food took 45 minutes to an hour to make the place was completely empty. We were the only ones there on Sunday at 5 PM All it was was fries. With mayo, corn and cheese on top nothing mixed and no seasoning. Definitely did not look appetizing. Everything else was bland with no flavors. No idea how this place remains in business. Will definitely not return. There’s a lot of other choices in the area with a lot better food for definitely same or less money.
