Beeville Dinner

They were terrific. They were very busy and we got seated right away our waitress was very sweet even talked my husband into apple pie lol

once again ... after several trips from corpus christi tx to beeville tx (56 miles) we received great service & great steaks. cannot recommend more. we travel not only to take care of business but know we will get our money's worth. all I can say is the trip of over 120 miles round trip is well worth it. a shame we have to go to that much time & effort to travel from a big "city" like corpus christi to a much smaller town to find great service & great food! if it is possible, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Great experience! Great food! We had fried mushrooms n the gravy we requested, was creamy with a bit of a smoky taste. The steak n shrimp were perfectly cooked n seasoned well. My sister shared her lightly battered fish with us n it was very good. I prefer just a bit more salt. Portion sizes are large. Our waitress continued to check on us despite the busy crowd, as well as the manager. The strawberry cheesecake and coconut pie were also very good. They have fresh ample desserts in a glass case. Can't wait to return. Favorite spot in Beeville now. I forgot to mention that the turkey soup was sooo good, very creamy n perfectly seasoned.

April 13th, wife and I stopped at Beeville Steakhouse around 4 pm to eat.My wife had chopped session and I had seafood platter. Who ever the cook working during that time period, did an excellent job preparing our meals. It was cooked to perfection! Let's not leave out the waitress serving the tables by the restroom! Best service I ever had at any restaurant! She continually stopped by to see if there was we needed! Definitely will be back again and again!

I ordered a blackened flounder which was really good and not a bad portion.

Our server Richard did an outstanding job. He served us with a smile and made sure multiple times that we had everything we needed. The food was amazing and came out really fast and fresh. At the end of our visit Richard also offered us tea to go witch was great. We will definitely be back and hope to have Richard as our server again.

First time here and food was outstanding. Best onion rings we’ve had in years. Best burger I’ve had in over a year. Definitely coming back. We live in Alice, Tx and will make the trip just to eat here again.

In town for business for the week from Fort Worth and had an excellent dinner here tonight. The chicken mushroom pasta was hot, fresh and plentiful, with more than adequate amount of chicken. Maria D. did a fantastic job, and I never had to ask for a refill on my beverage. I plan on going back later this week.

We absolutely enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Our server was absolutely wonderful. Mercedes was was very attentive and kind worker. She made our visit very memorable.We are looking forward to our next visit

Service was very good, we told her about the problem with the fish. It tasted good, it just wasn’t flaky or able to use just a fork. Update 8/17/24 - we wanted to try one of our favorite plates, stuffed flounder which didn’t disappoint! The service was great and the food and drinks (House Margarita) were great! Update 5/12/24 - we went for a mid-dinner, and the service was good along with the food. Wanted to check out the new renovated restaurant. The service was excellent, waitress was very attentive. The food was good, the broccoli was cooked with butter and a large amount of Italian seasoning which I didn’t like with my chopped sirloin steak with mushrooms & onion gravy. The turkey and dressing plate was good but the amount was not worth the price. I appreciated the rolls with honey cinnamon butter.

He was very accommodating and helpful. The food was very tasty and in plentiful portions. The decor and atmosphere is casual and relaxed. We opted for non-alcoholic drinks but it's worth mentioning they have a full bar. Everything about our visit was top notch. When we are in Beeville, we will definitely be stopping back by.

Food was great, i ordered the 12oz New York strip steak, came out perfectly (Medium rare). I tried a bite of Greek Salmon and the chicken w/ mushrooms. All were cooked well and were very flavorful! Atmosphere was fresh, a little loud but that's expected with the amount of people there. Decided to get a chocolate cake and omg. Will return to try the Rib eye! A+++

Bought/ordered 5 of their thanksgiving meals and a dozen extra rolls to go. Picked up at 10:30 thanksgiving morning. Everything tasted real good. The portion size were large. This is very convenient. Saved us lot of time cooking and clean up was easy.

A great place with delicious food! The atmosphere is relaxed and the service was very good. We started with a generous appetizer of fried mushrooms, and both of us had the 10 oz ribeye cooked medium rare. It was perfection! The waitress had suggested med rare and that it'd be more like medium, so we took her advice. The steak seasoning was on point, no sauce needed! Great experience, highly recommend the Beeville Steakhouse!

The food was great and the staff was very good. I was expecting a big bill for the amount of food and how good it was..but they charged way less then expected. I will go out of my way to eat here again. Loved the decore and the overall feel of the place.

GREAT food, service AND atmosphere. We had a decent size group and was seated during lunch time in under 10 minutes. Waitress was excellent, food came out exactly as ordered and it tasted great. I had to sit in the car with my little one for 20 minutes and when I came inside, the food was already on the table. STILL WARM! Atmosphere was good with plenty of seats and waking space.

First time visit did not disappoint! Alyssa our waitress was attentive friendly and makes their Mexican Martini on point! Great job sweetheart! Ordered the steak and shrimp and I didn't have to stress on the medium rare aspect like other places! Philly was good but bread fell apart easily so he had to eat with a fork. Might want to change up bread choice but overall good sandwich. Cheers to that cook they have! Amazing job! The prices are fair for the food and drinks we ordered. Atmosphere was clean and family friendly you could smell the clean when we walked in. We will definitely return to try another dish👍

Had dinner with my mother last night and Ayesha was our server. She was absolutely amazing! Great customer service as always and a beautiful smile to greet u! Tonight I had dinner with my bf and our server was Richard. He was absolutely amazing to us! His customer service was 100 and he was very sweet and smiled all night. Im so sorry I pick this restaurants from the website.. the food was amazing the service the girl that took care of me was expitional..but there was a a bartender name Maria D. For some reason she was ignoring me I did sit at the bar before she started to work.. I check out with the other waitress.. but this bartender never came to talk to me even i flag her down to serve me she ignored me ..I was totally confused until I told her that I had check out from the other waitress for me she is so disrespectful not to pay attention to all customers..Im a good tipper but not for her I will remember her next time I visit only because the food and some of the other servers are awesome..

The food was AMAZING‼️‼️ But there was a LONG wait, which is understandable considering it is busier than usual, but the atmosphere was SO LOUD. There were kids screaming, which, they are young, but still, and of course we can't do anything (because we can't control it) But it was good!!

Ok. I'm impressed. The renovations were worth it now that there's a great bar. Food is still as hood as before. Dawson was our server. It was his first day, so props for doing a good job.

My wife and I have gone here and we have ordered takeout from here quite often. My experience is that beeville diner which was the name and under different owner than beeville steakhouse was better. While they offer many of the same menu items it is not up to standard to what beeville diner was. Based on the food quality the food is very good what is overpriced compared to the quality that it used to have. The steaks or cook very good but there is no seasoning at least all the steaks that I have eaten there. Is there mixed drinks are they very good and I do enjoy is there mixed drinks and their draft selection. Though I noticed it seems no restaurant seems to carry Killian's red on draft anymore or even bottled but I do love a good shiner. Also enjoy coffee and their coffee is very good. Is there chicken fried steak is meh it seems mediocre very little flavor their gravies nice but mostly the chicken fried steak is unflavored. I will say to me and my opinion is there most flavorful dish believe it or not is there Philly sandwich it's Rich creamy full of flavor and very beefy. Their salads taste nice and fresh and their dinner rolls are very good. I would rate this place as the second top most I would guess American southern food somewhat in beeville play I would recommend. They're flounder is a little dry their sauce that they add on top of the flounder it seems it's Hit or Miss depending on the cook I've had it to where it was divine and that I've had it to where it was no flavor whatsoever more often. The burgers are big inflatable but unfortunately it seems they like to overcook their beef patty you specifically have to ask for a medium Patty if you want it to be juicy and if you're lucky the cook will understand what a medium Patty is. The staff is very nice they try to be attentive depending on the part of day let you go sometimes it's better to sit at the bar or have an experienced waitress. Unfortunately the younger ones seem to be too busy talking to pay attention but they are courteous and kind and I find it quite nice. I love the appetizers your onion rings are great is there mushrooms are awesome especially with the ranch dressing. But they seem to change the ranch dressing recipe from what they used to serve when it was the diner and the diners recipe was better more creamy and richer flavor. But it's not bad. The Greek dressing is very good and I would say it would be on par with the diners. So I would say very good. It is a nice restaurant and it would be good to take for a date open families gathered in town. The restaurant is very clean. My only complaint really is the pricing for the same price I could go to corpus and get a better food or the exact same but that being said that's a long way to drive. And I don't mind paying for food if it is very good price normally reflex to quality from what I've seen. I've been to some restaurants here in beeville where the price has been extremely cheap in the food has been phenomenal and I wouldn't mind paying more for it. Don't get me wrong the beagles steakhouse is very good and the price I would say it's just a little more than what I would expect for the quality of the food. Other than that yes I would recommend beeville steakhouse but if you had beeville diner before be prepared for the disappointment. I guess I will continue to go to Google steakhouse cuz it's one of the few options we have here in beeville but I found another place that I quite finally enjoy better but there are things that we will steakhouse has that I just like.

Salt post cook is overkill. That being said. I ordered a 16oz ribeye, house salad broccoli and chips and queso. Steak was seasoned as above but, the cook (medium rare) was perfect. Come I got past the sauce flavor of the meat was very good. Broccoli steamed with butter was tender. No the queso and chips. The queso tasted like a combo of decent cheese, pico de Gallo chilli seasoning, little bit of meat and water to thin it out. That said really wasn't a fan. Chips were hot out a warmer good. But the queso was depressing. Running light on flavor almost lost identity all together. The chilli is cumin heavy which depending on the person smells of under arm. Most places thin the queso with chicken broth or stock or milk/cream. Either they use water or meat water. So make of that what you will. Lastly that garden salad. The lettuce was wet to the point of water at the bottom of the bowl. But I don't like eating salad anyway but, wife says I should. The dressing was good though tasted like a solid in house peppercorn ranch. Service at the bar was good. And the place was booming so I know most enjoy the restaurant. Will I be back yes because the manger possibly the owner and I talk the next day about the sauce while I was there for lunch and they do make a good cheese steak sub.

Ceasar salad real good appetizer potato skin's good my t-bone was real thin dont recommend the rib eye is real good other than I would definitely go back !!! Service was awesome nice restaurant

Local spot we choose when want something more home cooked rather than fast food. Plenty of options. Little expensive on something while other are somewhat reasonable. Usually get the chicken fried steak which is very large and crispy. Not a huge fam of their side salads as they have too much froofy lettuce. The onion rings are probably my favorite item hands down. The. Read is ok but definitely needs some butter, however the butter they give is like a cinnamon maple and the maple is way too overpowering and quite odd. Need honey not syrup. The he deserts always look amazing but always too full for desert.

The rolls had garlic butter that left a strong taste and didn't mix well with the cinnamon butter..couldn't eat anything after that..

Service was great, but the food not so much. The pasta had zero flavor and tasted as if the sauce had came out of a can from the store. The steak was as if they had cooked it in overcooked/bad grease, it smelt very sickly. The quail also tasted like it had too much salt. Not to mention the prices🤕 over all the people were very friendly and kind but the food was not up to par.

On 2/5/2025 I stopped with a friend to have lunch since we aren't originally from Beeville. 2nd time for me eating there. I ordered the stuffed flounder which was good but the mash potatoes were instant ( not real potatoes) and they were thick and horrible. The greens beans had some type of cream texture and they were rubbery tasting. Over all the service was good but they sure could do better with their food. I have never stopped at a steak house and get instant potatoes 🥴🤢🤮

We stop here on Sundays at lunch time on the way back home from the hunting lease. The chicken fry steak and chicken fry chicken is always good but I've had a cheese burger once and a couple times the steak and shrimp. I ordered the meat medium rare on the burger and steaks and they cook them over well done. I couldn't even eat them. They need to teach the cooks hiw to cook meat for sure.
