Love this place! The spicy vegan pizza is amazing. Skip the traditional cheese and try their house made vegan cheese. Super yum! Also you can get vegan pizza by the slice. Lots of other food and drink choices too. Live jazz Tue and Th, lots of fun! also they have a gluten free crust as well which is very good!

This place does not have the Mac and cheese pizza pictured. However… They do have a super sweet SF Giants fan bartender that looks like Edward Norton, with a killer playlist and the best pizza I’ve had in a while and a great selection of brews. Everything was amazing and the pasta dishes are on my Berkeley to do list now forever. Only regrets, not getting more blueberry cider and not giving my phone number to said “Edward Norton.” 5/5 stars. Clean bathroom too with reasonable parking nearby.

Went in at about 2:30pm yesterday to grab a bite before the Chaos & Carnage show. The guy working there was extremely friendly and personable as was the other customers in the establishment. We got the eggplant parm, chicken parm and fettuccine alfredo along with a side order of the meatballs. The food was absolutely delicious! My son even said several times through out the night and told a few other people as well that "the Bobby G's is worth the drive" just to come and have the food and enjoy the atmosphere. There was talks of starting karaoke there as well so I'm sure we will end up coming for one of those times but in the meantime will certainly come back for more food.

One of my favorite East Bay places when I want to eat local and great food. The fresh ham sandwich with arugula is life changing. I order that sandwich alone twice a month. The pizza is awesome. The wings are fantastic. Seriously, the wings are GOOOOOOD. The salad with grapefruit is a must. I love this place. One of my top 5.

Love to come here for pizza, trivia nights, and the community art nights with Jenny! Honestly, this isn't a spot I'd come to regularly since it's a bit out of the way for me, but the events combined with the food mean that it's a great place to meet up with friends.

There were Jazz players outside, the service was friendly and fast and the food was worth every single cent I paid. Absolutely an incredible experience. I’ll be recommending this place to my friends

Totally honorable slice of straight up pizza, great selection of brews, Great staff, and a convenient location in the heart of downtown Berkeley. I'm normally not a pizza and beer kind of guy, but tonight I made an exception and I'm glad that I did. Their meat combo was cooked perfectly crispy just around the edges the meat was good, Beer was great, I ordered the propaganda ale. I would give this place 5 out of five stars except just so many screens playing so many basketball games made the place kind of noisy I had to shut it out to focus on the delicious pizza. But I highly recommend this place to anyone in the neighborhood who likes pizza.

Was looking for a nice place to watch the warriors game. This place had lots of space and for good reason. Their pizzas are super expensive and they don't serve alcohol (probably recently lost their license). We paid $40 for a 12" pizza. Reread that. 12" with a couple toppings was FORTY bucks. Ugh. Definitely not worth in the future. And no beers or drinks. Other than that, sure, whatever this is a normal pizza diner place.

Bobby G's looks like a casual fun place to have a meal with friends and family. The menu is pretty basic Italian foods you would expect at a casual dining restaurant. It has tv's around to watch a game and enjoy your food. For me, the food was just ok. I did not really enjoy my food. I ordered the chicken Parmigiana, stuffed breadsticks, and the Ham & Gruyere Panini. The best out of the 3 was the panini. It had thick slices of ham and crisp bread. It was a little dry and could have used more of the garlic aioli. The Chicken Parmigiana looked great with a good sized cutlet but it just lacked in flavor. As for the breadsticks, it looked great but once again lacked in flavor. I love stuffed breadsticks or stuffed crust but this was just bad. It was too much bread versus stuffing and the cheese had no flavor. TBH, Pizza Hut's stuffed crust was far superior to what I ordered here. It also did not help that this was the last to be served to us despite it being a "starter." I asked about it after having been served the main dishes and although they said that it sometimes takes a while, I frankly think that they simply forgot. If the STARTER takes that long, first they should inform the customer upon ordering AND they should perhaps ask if they want their main courses first AND they should perhaps not list it as a STARTER. The staff were all very friendly but just lacking in service. No one checks on you nor provide refills on drinks. It was more self service in that I had to repeatedly go up to the bar for help. Overall, the food was barely ok and the non-existent service, I would not come back here.

Beer’s outrageously expensive. Pizza is expensive & poor quality. We had a meat-lovers and had trouble finding the meat. But worst of all is the service. Only 2 people working on a busy football Saturday. Ridiculous! Took forever. Wish we had gone elsewhere

Do not place online orders at this place, their system does not work. They had 30 minutes to prepare our online order of two pizzas, but when I showed up on time they had not even started, and the cook didn't know there was an order. It wasn't an issue of it being too busy, the place was dead, one customer at the bar and one at a table, that's all. The bartender didn't even bother to apologize, and there was no way to get back the tip we had added to the order. We will never be coming back here again.
