Great drinks and ambience. Bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable, she helped my annoying friend who didn't know what he wanted find a drink he would enjoy. She accidentally spilled part of my drink on her way to bring it to us so I ended up getting a drink and a half for the price of one, lol. Also drinks are super reasonably priced. You can also order from an app at your table, we preferred just asking the bartender though, since the app has an extra fee tacked on. But I could see it being convenient if the bar is super crowded and busy.

Good food. Tiki Masala queso is delicious. Cocktails were all solid, well balanced. Was a great place to chill and drink

The cocktails are absolutely gorgeous and delicious. I got the Lightkeepers Daughter and my husband got Under the Tide Pools. We LOVED them. My drink had two pineapple leaves and an orchid flower, definitely the fanciest drink I've had and not too pricey for such a nice drink. The service and atmosphere is awesome too!

I found this spot on Google because I really wanted a tasty lunch and drink, but I wanted to try somewhere different. It was about 4 pm when I arrived and it was not packed. All patrons were at the bar, so I sat there as well. The bartender, Hayley, greeted me warmly. They have Happy Hour from 2 pm to 5 pm daily. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger meal and it came with fries. I ordered that from the regular menu. It was $17 (I think) Hayley reccomended the Blackberry margarita when I asked what flavors could she make the marg. Oh.. she also Guava was good too. I ordered that from the Happy Hour menu. It was $10 with $1 extra for the flavor. They make their burgers medium well automatically. They have a special sauce that taste like tikki sauce. I got it in the side because I was unsure if I would like it. However, I wound up putting it on my burger lol. They made my bacon crispy, not burnt. Exactly how I requested for it. The fries were good too. The drink...soooo yummy. I had 2 lol. Hayley was very accomodating, friendly and warm. She is in the pics. I told her that I will come back when she is working, so I can bring my wife because they have $1 oysters and she would love that. Also, I think she would like the overall vibe and tasty drinks. I reccomend this spot for anyone looking for a cute and quaint spot to eat good food and get their libation on. They have a full bar and other food items in their menu for all types of patrons.

Their drink menu is SO fun! There are honestly so many good selections that you'll want one of each (pls be responsible). The bartenders are friendly, speedy, and artists creating these yummy cocktails. My favorites were Caught in the Riptide and The Baltic Pearl. Their hamburgers looked really good but we just got a side of fries extra crispy. Amazing compliment to the drinks with an ambiance like you're by the water. So looking forward to being back one day!

I’ve been walking by this place for a number of weeks in the morning and always wondered what the vibe was when the sun went down. Or some of you for my generation when the street lights went out. This place is wonderful, super friendly, super local grade 5 amazing drinks and food. This is a must come by. Check it out for yourself. Don’t trust my review

Came here because we were early for dinner and had high ratings. It did not disappoint. Apart from the amazing drinks, the bartender was super knowledgeable and told us all about some of her favorite mezcals. We are really into it lately, and we’re happy to find the crazy selection here. Came back after dinner with our friends, and asked for a mocktail cause I had to drive. They put as much, if not more, care into my drink. It looked and tasted amazing! I heard the food is incredible and a little famous online. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much!

ok so bear with me here. this is like the tiniest silly thing to be thrilled by when everything else cool about this place is more interesting (the mermaid arts! the creative cocktails! the tikka masala queso!) but like you know how a lot of the time cheese fries look more exciting than they are because all the topping is on top? the ones here do not have this problem. there is sauce on all the fries. they were crispy and flavor balanced the whole way to the bottom of the tray. this is terrible for my calorie count but amazing for my heart. also the charming snake shaped mug brought me great joy. needlessly adorable thank you.

Coming from D.C. Speakeasy culture, this is the coziest place I've found. They haven't had their grand opening yet and they're already killing the game. Shiloh crafted a mezcal old fashioned and a tequila daiquiri for me. Both drinks were some of the best I've had in Berkeley, so I thank her for the recommendations! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good cocktail. This place is great and I will be back soon!

Cool vibes and all ocean themed - from the decor to the drink menu. Staff were friendly but you do need to wave them down at the bar to get orders in if you sit at the booths. Came here on a Friday night at 6:30 and didn't have to wait. Bar seats and booths available but the booth benches are a little uncomfy. Food was your typical bar bites, and there were a few beers on tap. But the cocktails are the main event here. The drink selection was wide, creative and featured exotic liquors that you usually don't see - e.g. Brazilian cachaça. All drinks have cute names like Siren's call or Birth of Venus. And all of them were a hit! The recipes are listed on paper with ingredients - if only I'd get these funky ingredients together at home! Will return for more of these cool concoctions.

Food and drinks are amazing. Would suggest going here during the weekday as the weekend it gets crowded and really busy. Drinks do not come out as good when crowded. Had the bacon cheese burger and a few drinks an so far one of the best burgers I have ever had.

This was so fun! Caleb especially was amazing! We have great report and he even gave us a booth! He was so fun to talk to and my friends said the burgers they had were amazing! Overall a great atmosphere, my vodka cran was great, and Caleb gave amazing service. Will be coming back!

Amazing cocktails! I stopped by while waiting on a reservation, I was looking for a great cocktail spot and found one. The Birth Of Venus was my favorite cocktail. Tried 3 more cocktails and all of them were unique and tasteful. Didn't get a chance to try the food but I'll be back to give them a go as well as more cocktails.

Ordered a simple Jameson and ginger and they make their own frickin ginger ale, with real ginger! Sweet and spicy and extra tasty I had to have another. Cheers!

I came a few nights in a row last month because I’m friends with some folks that work there! :) On my third visit, Friday 10/10 I was KICKED OUT by one of the bartenders because she was mad I came with my man? I didn’t know the girl. She was hella rude. Morally incorrect to deny service from a paying customer. A Berkeley student at that. Crazy audacity. Girl’s name was Sam. Be on the look out for her & be sure not to bring an attractive man, or she’ll crash out on you LOL

I really wanted to like this place since it looks very cute on the outside but unfortunately due to the poor service and rude staff I will not be returning. We were a party of four and very patient with staff since it was somewhat busy but our bartender/server (person with black hair in a ponytail and dark makeup) was incredibly rude and their service was lackluster considering the price of food and drinks. We arrived later at night, however since the establishment is open late we thought it would be fine. We were told to sit down and waited about 20-30 minutes just to see a menu, and were only given one menu for the whole table. When our server was finally ready to take our order, they were incredibly rude and condescending the whole time. At the table our server announced they were out of the majority of their menu and that they were also out of many mixers that really should be stocked at a bar (no cranberry juice or orange juice?). I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a drink, and waited 30 minutes for our table to get our drinks. I would’ve understood if it was super busy but there were maybe 7-10 other people in the bar and most of them were not consistently ordering drinks or food. Our food took forever to come out and I was not given my sandwich. I wanted to ask our server if there was an update on my sandwich as I would’ve been fine waiting longer but our server did not return to our table for the rest of the night. Once again, I would understand if the bar was slammed but it really was not that busy in terms of people actually ordering drinks. I never even got my order besides my drink. When it came to settle the bill, our server acted like we were trying to pull one over on them when we wanted to split the tab, and made us walk all the way back to our table to “make sure” everyone was paying right even though the other folks at our table were staying and had a card on tab. When it came to tipping, the server stared at us in an uncomfortable way with the card reader visible while we were choosing which tip to pay which made me feel weird, and made me feel like I had to tip more even though I received very mediocre service. The drinks were okay but really nothing worthwhile considering how lousy the service was. We will not be returning and I will not be recommending this spot to people I know.

I almost wish I can give a half star for the service I had experienced on Sunday night. I went with a group and I had to leave with one of the accompanying friends so we went to the bar to pay for our food. After waiting 30 minutes for drinks and then another 30 minutes for our food, she had forgotten one of our sandwiches we ordered, and barely stopped by the table. When leaving, we went directly to her told her what we got to pay our portion as the rest of the party was planning on staying longer. The server insisted we had to go walk back to our table while it was crowded and other customers were blocking the table and seats, and we essentially just had to list the items we had gotten again, but this time in front of the table. I’ve worked in food service for over 7 years now and the way she acted was unnecessary and rude. It felt like she thought we were going to dine and dash when we were just trying to pay. I wouldn’t recommend coming here and would suggest finding a different bar/restaurant. It’s crowded, the wait to get drinks or food is too long, and the service doesn’t compensate the inconvenience.
