Coffee is amazing Food n desserts are great Great new addition to the city
Coffee was great and loved the shop items as well. Cute place!
Limited parking. But really good coffee
Amazing coffee and food. Great new addition to the South Bay
Love the mobile ordering. Get the mocha, it’s the best.
Great sandwiches and pastries, coffee is good.
It is popular The outside seating is great
Friendly neighborhood coffee shop. Many options for coffee, tea, pastry’s and sandwiches. Our person at the counter was very friendly.
Busy place, but enough tables to accommodate you
Absolutely love this place!!!!!!!
Cute little coffee shop and the atmosphere is pleasant. I’ve had 3 different lattes and enjoyed each of them!
Beautiful fresh new coffee spot and cafe located on Aviation Blvd in Redondo Beach at the corner of Steinhart Ave. The interior is very comfortable and the food is outstanding. The turkey sandwich is served on delicious bread and is a better sandwich than most delis put out. The drinks were equally amazing with a very tasty blueberry lavender concoction and the standard iced latte was top notch. The everything toast with cream cheese and avocado plus all the special spices was a great take on the ever present toast craze. The service was fast and friendly and they have a lovely patio out front as well as the spacious dining room inside. With an interesting drink menu and great food it is easy to see why they are always busy!
My new favorite coffee spot in the South Bay! The coffee and sandwich I had was delicious and the prices are more than reasonable! I love that I can go there for a filling meal and get my caffeine fix at the same time. They also have a ton of artisanal goodies and items you could easily pick up for a little gift if you needed a place for a quick pickup! The staff is also lovely. Must try!
Love ❤️!!
Lavender and Honey is absolute perfection. The perfect place to catch up with a friend or simply relax with a delicious latte and/or gourmet sandwich. The people and service was top notch and inside and out they did an amazing job with the lay out and ambiance. Can’t wait to come back.
Best lavender honey latte I’ve ever had. Absolutely delightful. There is not many seats inside, however I enjoy the sun seating outside in their patio. Love their products from 123 lavender farm.
So excited about the opening of Lavender & Honey - just what the area needs! Friendly staff, delicious coffee and pastries - can't wait to come back and try a sandwich for lunch. This will definitely be a regular spot for me!
Had a day old muffin and it was fire. Wife had a lavender latte and it was gas according to her, but did take quite a while and it wasn’t busy. So this place overall slaps, would recommend to coffee shop aficionados!
A vibrant coffee and food place in Rotondo Beach in Los Angeles USA.The bowl of clam chowder was delicious. There was a multitude of different coffee 's,great fast service and jovial staff.
Great coffee. Great baked goods. A perfect cafe vibe.
Delicious coffee and sandwiches. I enjoy all the different coffee mixes. Always fresh pastries. This place never disappoints.

Cute little coffee spot in N Redondo! The pastries were yummy and their signature Lavender & Honey Latte was delicious!!
This place was just what I was looking for. I was in town for a week on a few projects and worked here almost every day. Great food and coffee. California Club Sandwich crushed.
Awesome atmosphere, great coffee and good food! We will definitely be back. The neighborhood needed a great spot like this!
We love Lavender & Honey! Great coffee, pastries and sandwiches, friendly service and lots of seating.
This was one of the best coffee places i have been to in a long time. Only thing is the parking is a little difficult.
Great food and atmosphere. Love that it’s dog friendly and there are board games for the kids to play.
The coffee, food, and service was excellent. Such a great place! I can’t wait to go back again!
Lavender and Honey is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Redondo. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the cozy aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the welcoming smiles of the staff. The atmosphere is inviting, with comfortable seating and a charming decor that perfectly complements the coffeehouse vibe. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work or catch up with friends, Lavender and Honey provides the ideal setting. Now, let's talk about the coffee. It's simply exceptional. Each cup is crafted with care, showcasing rich flavors and a perfect balance that's hard to find elsewhere. The menu offers a variety of options, from classic espresso drinks to unique specialty creations that never fail to impress. And let's not forget about the pastries , snacks and food. Freshly baked treats like croissants and muffins pair wonderfully with your coffee of choice, making every visit a delightful experience for your taste buds. Their sandwiches and salads are made from fresh ingredients and I have tried almost every version, I am obsessed. What truly sets Lavender and Honey apart, though, is the outstanding service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable visit, always ready with recommendations. In summary, Lavender and Honey is more than just a coffee shop—it's a haven for coffee enthusiasts and anyone seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone in Redondo looking for a top-notch coffee experience!
So happy to have Lavender & Honey in the South Bay! The perfect spot for a quick coffee or a sit down meal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting for all patrons, including children! The team is so friendly and provides service with a smile every time! The coffee is exceptional and it is clear considerable thought, care, and expertise went into the drink menu. L&H goes beyond your typical coffee shop fare and has a uniquely curated menu offering delicious pastries, sandwiches, salads. Welcome to the neighborhood, Lavender & Honey - you're our family's new fave spot!
Lavender & Honey is an absolute treasure in Redondo Beach! This adorable coffee shop has stolen my heart with its friendly atmosphere, delicious pastries, and yummy coffee. From their creative drinks to their sandwiches, every visit is a great experience. What truly sets Lavender & Honey apart is their thoughtful selection for kids, making it a welcoming destination for families. If you're in search of a charming coffee shop that ticks all the boxes, look no further than Lavender & Honey. Highly recommended for anyone craving a cozy and delightful coffee experience!
I’m so pumped to have this amazing new local coffee spot!! I’m really impressed with the menu, vibe, staff, and spacious open modern layout inside. It’s very welcoming for a quick treat on the go or a longer post-up spot to get some remote work done (there is actually strong and reliable internet as well). I’m excited to have future meet-ups here with friends and definitely family friendly (so I can bring my littles)! Oh, and did I mention the food and drinks are to die for?! Can’t wait to come back.
What a great new coffee shop! We had the Caprese sandwich, a cinnamon honey latte and a gluten-free cinnamon swirl. All of it was amazing! With all boutique coffee shops it's a bit pricey, so I couldn't go there routinely but it was a great treat. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Good espresso drinks, cute and comfortable atmosphere, very good food, lots of fun options for treats including chocolate, honey sticks, bakery items, etc…. Sammies are made to order with fresh baked bread and have gluten free bread options. And its the only coffee house I’ve seen with a kids menu including a small pb&j sandwich and a “baby cappuccino” made with mocha powder🤣. Im a fan
Discovered this cute little shop recently and have nothing but great things to say about it. High quality coffee, delicious food items, and friendly staff. Their honey pistachio latte is 🔥
Such a great spot! Coffee was amazing! The donut was fresh, best I’ve had in a long time. The turkey club was also a hit, the bread is fresh! 10/10 can’t wait to come back.
Lavender & Honey is exactly what the South Bay needed! It’s the perfect place to work or meet up with friends. The coffee is perfection, the L&H matcha latte is amazing, and omg the sandwiches…I’ve been craving another one nonstop. There is even free parking & board games for the kids! We will be regulars for sure.
The best new place in North Redondo Beach! Yummy coffee, bagels, and sandwiches. They should add a second cash register! Parking can be busy, don't back onto Aviation, yikes! Nice folks, great service, and very comfortable.
Amazing spot! This is my second visit during their soft opening! Spectacular coffees, delicious pastries and phenomenal sandwiches. Hands down best new spot in the southbay! Our kids love this place too!!
My sister-in-law who lives here in Redondo Beach stopped by Lavender & Honey for pastries before meeting us for brunch and snagged some Matcha Scones for us. She knows I’m a hardcore foodie and pastries are my weakness. Haha. I love a good scone but it’s usually hit or miss as scones have a tendency to be very dry. Luckily for me, this was a win. The scones were not dry at all but more moist than anything. The matcha flavor wasn’t super strong so it was a good hint of matcha. Lavender & Honey has been on my list so next time I’m in town I hope to stop by and check out the store and grab some coffee and pastries.
This place has a nice food menu as well as solid coffee. I got a turkey club sandwich and a latte. The wifi was free. I went around 12:30p on a Monday and the place was pretty busy. All tables on the inside had people posted up on their laptops like they sit there all day.
Friendly baristas, bright light pouring in through tall windows, and smooth jazz from a Marshall speaker set the tone. The grab and go fridge makes it easy if you are in a rush, while the shelves of merchandise, artisanal chocolates, and pastries invite you to linger. The patio opens onto Aviation Boulevard, where the city hums by as you sip. Lavender & Honey is cheerful, effortless, and exactly the kind of café you return to again and again.
I started my day in the best way at Lavender & Honey. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a ham & cheese croissant—both were delicious! 10/10 would recommend. This was my first visit to the Redondo location, though I’ve been to the Pasadena spot many times before. The new location is such a great addition! It offers a lot more space while keeping the same cute and modern atmosphere. I was nervous about parking because I read some reviews saying that the parking was a headache, but I found a spot right away. There were a few available when I arrived. I loved exploring the market goods section—they even have a refrigerator stocked with to-go items, which is such a thoughtful touch if you’re in a rush. One of the standout features of this location is how kid and family-friendly it is. There's a cozy little nook in the corner with board games and activities, making it perfect for families or groups of friends to hang out. Even though there was a steady line the entire time I was there, the staff handled it very well, so I didn’t have to wait long to get my order. Highly recommend stopping by! I can’t wait to visit again.
Great spot to try out. Happy to bump into it. They bake pastries and bread fresh. Their coffee is great and they have plenty of seating. Their parking can be a little hard to find sometimes. They have a small lot but there’s street parking around it. It was pretty busy and we didn’t find a seat however there are plenty of seats so I’m sure more than likely you can get one most times. It was very calm and nice and people were working on their laptops as well as just having nice conversations with people. The staff was kind and our order came out nice and fresh.
Super nice and posh coffee place. Great coffee, food, and pastries. Love the vibe there and they have all these nice local food products to purchase. The ginger matcha date scone was out of control and their toasts are really nice. Try the salted caramel latte!
This was my first time at Lavender & Honey—but definitely not my last. I live within walking distance, and it’s officially my new go-to spot for a caffeine fix with a twist. I tried two items from their spring menu: the chili crisp toast and the pistachio honey latte—and wow. Both were packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and almost as good as the incredible service. The space itself is airy, light, and bright—exactly the kind of vibe I love for a morning or mid-afternoon reset (especially when I’m not drinking, lol). Whether you’re a coffee purist or into something more playful, this little gem in North Redondo hits all the right notes. Highly recommend!
This place is bright and cheerful. There is a patio for the sun lovers. You’ll find games for indoor fun. The food is amazing! The latte was delicious. It’s a must try. Vegan and gluten free options. Kid friendly. I tried the turkey cranberry sandwich and the cinnamon honey latte WC accessible, limited handicap parking
Super cute coffee shop with very friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. I got the honey lavender latte with oat milk, a little less sweet, and it was delicious. Their small parking lot was handy but there's also street parking in front and on side streets so that makes visiting much more appealing.

I ordered the brown sugar latte with oat milk iced. So delicious. Coffee is superb! And the match scone was perfect, the icing was the perfect sweetness and the scone was baked to perfection with a slight crunch on the outside. Oh, and they are dog friendly!! Sat at an outside with my pooch
Nice local coffee shop and cafe. Drinks have good flavor profiles and are well made. Cute latte art as well. Their market is cute - lots of fun condiments and snacks. Food menu is a bit limited but some solid options have rotated through. Their tomato toast with Flavor Society’s pizza-flavored chile crisp was a personal favorite. Wish they baked on-site, but you can’t have it all.
Anyone who has not tried out our new Coffee Shop Lavender & Honey in Redondo Beach you're missing out. I have been to the shop twice since they opened last week and tried multiple drinks & food. They have the best coffee I have ever had and all of the toast varieties are fantastic. I had a Salad and Sandwich for lunch on one of the visits and was very impressed. The Salad was Fresh very tasty and the Baguette's they serve with the Sandwiches was amazing. The people and service were top notched and inside and out they did an amazing job with the lay out and ambiance. This coffee shop is very family oriented.

Great unique flavoured coffee & drink options but unfortunately could be hotter temperature if you are a true coffee lover. Although the pastry selections are more limited, options are tasty and sell out fast. The interior is also well designed with lots of indoor/outdoor seating options & staff are really friendly!
My boyfriend and I both got the Cinnamon Creamed Honey latte, but it just tasted like a normal latte. Kind of disappointing because we were hoping it was going to taste more like its name suggests. I did think it was a nice space, but I wasn't a big fan of the bathroom being outside the actual shop. The parking lot was also kind of small.
Decent coffee. Food is ridiculously overpriced for what you get.
First visit to the shop and it did not disappoint. Fairly minimalist and clean atmosphere inside and a simple patio outside. Cold brew was delicious and the summertime inspired sandwich was the perfect balance of bread, meat, cheese, and jam. This will be a regular neighborhood visit
The usual coffee options are available but you can also get some fancy drinks. The shop has food as well. There are tables to sit at and enjoy some of the games they provide. When the weather is good, there is an outdoor area as well.
Lavender and Honey, Redondo Beach Review Stopped by Lavender and Honey for breakfast after finding out Tommy and Atticus next door was closed on a Monday. This spot turned out to be a pleasant surprise! It’s a cool, laid-back place to hang out in the morning. While it doesn’t have the huge selection of baked goods like some other spots, they make up for it with unique breakfast sandwiches and pastries that hit the spot. The lavender-flavored coffees were our favorites —really well-balanced and not overpowering. The interior is roomy with a calming pastel colors that makes it a great place to start the day. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. Only downside is the limited parking, so you might need to circle a bit. Definitely worth a visit for a chill breakfast!
The summer special of chili crunch toast did not disappoint! The lavender and honey latte is a must order for obvious reasons but it is just that good! Cute vibe and friendly people!

Great service! Mornings can be busy especially getting parking on their small lot up front.
Nice new local option...could possibly benefit from broader menu offerings
I am updating my review after speaking with the owner, Charlie. I called the shop to share my experience, and he was incredibly courteous and professional. He offered me a full refund and was very understanding of my concerns. I really appreciate an owner who takes direct accountability and cares about his customers' experiences. After speaking with Charlie I would return again. I had a very mixed experience during my first visit here. On one hand, the lady who took my order was wonderful—patient, friendly, and very professional. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the person making the drinks. I ordered a lemonade and a matcha, both with no ice. Despite the clear request, she put ice in the lemonade anyway. When I politely pointed this out, she rolled her eyes and condescendingly asked, "I didn't put that much, do you really want me to remake it?" After I said yes, her behavior became incredibly aggressive. She was visibly rude to her coworker, barging in front of her without saying "excuse me." She then grabbed my drink, threw it in the sink, and slammed the cup into the trash with unnecessary force. When the remake was finished, she slammed it onto the counter and walked away with a dirty look—no "here you go" or "enjoy." Beyond the hostile service, the value is simply not there. Even with ice in the lemonade, the cup wasn't full. My matcha, which had no ice, was missing quite a bit of liquid and was nowhere near the top. It is definitely not worth the price, and given the unprofessional environment, I won’t be returning. Management needs to address this, as one person’s attitude is overshadowing the rest of the team.
Toast options are delicious, coffee is just “okay”, service is bad. For one, I’m not quite sure what the purpose of ordering ahead…is? When you get there, you still have to wait for them to make your drink. At any other coffee shop, ordering online means the drink is ready upon arrival. Yes, it’s nice the drink is fresh. But when I’m in a hurry I order ahead for convenience (& freshness is the tradeoff). I paid extra for premium syrup add-ons that I cant taste at all. They forgot items from my (online) order, so I had to go back anyway. Seems like it’s easier to just order in the shop? The employees have a weird vibe. I genuinely feel like I’m bothering them and the aggregate experience feels awkward. It doesn’t seem like management reviews these comments, so I can’t reasonably expect any change. For a neighborhood with many coffee shops, like Tommy & Atticus down the street, there’s not enough here to justify the hassle.
Stopped in to grab a morning coffee at 11:00am, after driving being on the road since 4:30 am. I love visiting local coffee spots instead going to the reg large chain spots. Unfortunately, I'm hearing impaired and had thought my name had been called, that my coffee was ready. I walked up and put a lid on the coffee when the (I think the owner) step up and snap, "That's not your coffee!" I immediately apologized, I wasn't trying to be an jerk, I just heard her wrong. She then removed the lid in what looked like disgust. Fortunately, the other barista was way nicer when she handed me the correct coffee. The coffee was good, so that was an added plus. I know it was my fault for hearing her wrong, but you don't have to mean about it.
Really kind staff. Very slow turn around on coffee orders. Croissants were mediocre.
Great staff and vibe but when you get a cold brew black, its always disheartening to return when it has a faint taste soap...
I only give it a 3 because the service is very slow. I would appreciate quicker service / would recommend they have 2 registers and another person to ring people up :) good coffee tho
Very girly in here . Felt like I was going to be sold lotion or perfume . Very neat and decorated.
Paid $7 for a matcha I could’ve made better at home. The person working behind the counter today could use some training in customer service. I was told there were “no ceramic cups” for dine-in, yet dirty ones sat in plain sight—and the guests after me were both served in them. It came off as lazy and dismissive, and it diminished the overall experience. Disappointing, especially since my previous visits were marked by friendly staff and solid drinks.
Love that there is a coffee shop in the neighborhood and hate giving it only 3 stars because I want to see it succeed and the people are so nice. The place is very sterile and loud on the inside. Super bright but not cozy at all, no cozy loungers or quiet places to sit and relax with a book and coffee. A few love seats and lounge chair seating areas with rugs and dimmer lighting would go a long way for noise and atmosphere. The coffee is good but you can’t add things like pumpkin to a latte, you have to get it the way it is on the menu. It also takes so long to get a latte, there are so many people working at once but not sure what everyone is doing. The food is average and priced extremely high for what it is. However the menu is creative, I appreciate that.
good atmosphere, average service. they are understaffed for the 7-8am crowd. we didn't have any breakfast food at home so my husband and I opted to try something new on the way to work. showed up at about 7:10, so they had just opened, and waited half an hour for our food and drinks. we got a mocha, white cherry matcha latte, a peachy parfait and the honey pistachio toast (which I only ordered because pastry options were already so limited). none of it tasted like it was worth the $30 spent (!!?). I expected the pistachio toast to be sweet, but they loaded it up with what I believe might be everything bagel seasoning, so I was unpleasantly surprised by how onion & garlicy it tasted. it looked good, but missed the mark on flavor - all onion and garlic, no honey and pistachio. the white cherry matcha just tasted like a regular matcha without any extra flavors. the peachy parfait was probably not worth the $7 paid, but I would give it four stars. a little too much cinnamon but I was so put off by the onion flavor of the toast that anything sweet was welcome. definitely the best-tasting thing we got. the mocha was average, there was nothing special about it and that's okay. scale of 1 to 5 I'd give this restaurant 3 stars for breakfast (meaning it's completely average, not the best thing I've ever had but certainly not the worst). by no means do I want to bash on the business, but it's has so many good reviews I thought it would be worth stopping in. unfortunately it did not live up to the hype and I do not plan to return.
Ordered online to save time. Instead, I got my usual parking scavenger hunt and a lecture about how I was supposed to announce my arrival so they could start my drink. So… what was the point of ordering ahead? No apology, just confusion. Maybe the cute ( male) customers get better service. BTW, this drink was for my boss—y’all are lucky I didn’t tell him how I was treated. 😌
Cute place but they served me a stale muffin and when I politely asked for something else they said “sorry. No can do. If you want anything else you’ll have to pay for it”. So to the owner I say, let young people work at your store but don’t let them make policy. If a customer returns something because it’s stale (which it WAS - maybe don’t serve it), you let them choose setting else instead. In FACT, you APOLOGIZE for the serving the stale item and allow them to choose something else. If that’s your policy (which it should be), you need to tell your staff.

If you’re looking at the reviews to see if you should go here honestly don’t. Coffee is way too milky and the customer service is always soooo weird. I feel like I’m intruding every time I come up to the counter to order… if the coffee was better I’d look past that
My major complaint is the hours and service. The Coffee tastes great but takes about 8 minutes to make and they aren’t open until 7am which is so late for a coffee shop. Basically it’s hard to stop if you’re on your way to work. If you’re there at 6:55 they will turn you away as they aren’t open, which I understand but also they should be open earlier as a coffee shop. They also charge $7/$8 for a price of bread with the smallest amount of avocado and call it avocado toast. TLDR: bad hours/bad service/bad food/good coffee if you have time to wait
Disappointed this time around. I’ve been a loyal customer of Lavender and Honey since they opened in the neighborhood, and I’ve always loved the vibe, the drinks, and the overall experience. But I left today feeling a disheartened. My husband and I came in to try the new spring menu and ordered two drinks: the pistachio latte and the espresso with tonic water and Cara Cara orange syrup. When asked how we wanted them, we said “hot,” assuming both drinks could be made that way. The espresso drink came iced, and we were told afterward that it can’t be made hot—which is totally fine, but that wasn’t clear from the menu, and it wasn’t communicated at the time we ordered and requested hot. Unfortunately, the drink ended up being too bitter for my husband to enjoy. When I went back in to explain, the barista kindly offered to remake it, which I appreciated. I returned back to my husband to see what he would want. But when I returned later to request a warm alternative, I was told we’d need to pay for the new drink, even though the original was barely touched and didn’t work out due to the miscommunication. Ultimately, we left without the second drink, and the experience just left us feeling a bit dismissed. I understand policies are policies, but what would have gone a long way was a little more flexibility or even clearer communication from the start. Especially for regulars who genuinely love your shop, moments like this can shift the tone of the whole experience. It’s a shame because I loved my pistachio latte.

I ordered the lavender honey latte which is supposedly their signature drink —but it turned out to be so bland and tasteless . When I asked for more honey —the server said they can’t give me more because they have a specific grade of honey they only put in. What ???! … the drink is bland, tasteless and nothing like lavender or honey .. The baguette was tough and hard and the huge amount of goat cheese on it was overpowering on the very thin slice of limited prosciutto . The only good thing about this coffee shop was the products they sell —all unique and looks yummy but after my experience with the actual coffee and food —I could not bring myself to buy it. Better coffee shops in area . These might have the ambiance but the actual preparation of the food is meh. .

Honestly, this place is soooo not worth the wait and hype. Waited 30 minutes for a milk dominant plain latte. I kindly asked them to remake it because I could hardly taste the coffee and they did the exact same thing. Waiting 30+ minutes for mediocre coffee is not something I’d like to repeat. So many better coffee shops in the South Bay
