Tony and Mama Daeng took such good care of me when I was sick on Thursday night! My friends and I came back to support the business by Saturday and OMG it was incredible! I cannot say enough good things about the kind people and amazing food at Thai Boom!
The food was delicious! Came to dinner here with friends at 8:30 right before they closed at 10. The owner was so sweet and accommodating and so friendly with us! The food was absolutely amazing too - I had the pineapple curry with chicken. My friends had the pad Thai, pad see ew and green fried rice and they were all delicious. We shared Thai dumplings and crab rangoons (which were Amazing!!) I liked the dumplings less, it had a lot of meat packed inside which isn’t bad but the taste was okay. The curry was absolutely delicious! I had it with brown rice and the portion sizes for these dishes were massive. You can split it into another meal! My friends got coconut ice cream and sticky rice and mango for dessert and they all loved it. Would definitely come back here for Thai food. Prices are pretty average LA prices. I recommend Thai food here!! Parking is metered although it’s free if you come after 8
I love thai boom and the food was phenomenal. The staff was very attentive and quick to deliver! Food had great flavor. The mild yellow curry was still pretty spicy, but I didn’t mind. Also had some orange chicken which was perfectly flavored. It has a sweetness but was very savory at the same time. There was no wait, and parking was plentiful on the street. They had a TV inside as well to help with those awkward silences in the conversation.
We had amazing food and desert in this place. The owner made us feel very special!
Zing, Zang, Bam, Boom! This place is tasty! Started off with the Thai Iced Tea & Thai Iced Coffee. Very refreshing! Had the Panang Curry with Chicken, curry sauce seemed a little thin but still full of flavor. Also had the Kra Proa which is ground Chicken with onions, bell peppers, basil leaves and jalapeño. I can honestly say this is the Best Kra Proa I have ever had! Pungent with basil and the slight heat of jalapeño! Double yum! Normally when I have finished the rice I let the curry and or sauce be, but this was so tasty I had to order extra rice to finish all the Panang curry and the sauce for the Kra Proa. Treat yourself to real authentic Thai food at Thai Boom!
Yum yum & more yum! Thai Boom is authentic & they don’t hold back on the spice if you ask for it! I recommend the crab rangoons & Pad Kee Mow. They give great portions & if you can’t finish them in one sitting don’t worry because the leftovers are just as good!

Came in to order food to go. I ordered the Pad-Sew with chicken. Very good food for the price. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Liked the decor, warm and cozy. Customer service was excellent and delivery of food once I placed the order was quick. I highly recommend this place. Definitely will come back.
Easy parking on Robertson after 6pm. My friend had pad Thai and I had chow mein. Food was excellent and the service was awesome! Even the fortune cookies were delicious!

Excellent pad Thai!!!!! Excellent spring rolls!!! Most things have changed in LA this place remains great. Takeout was hot fresh and delicious. Perfectly packed to keep things warm and crispy. When picking up they where nice and kind. Keep the awesome work!! Thank you!!
I've recently moved into the area and was looking for a good Thai restaurant for take-out. The place has a very cozy atmosphere and I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted like a favorite family friend when picking up my online to-go order. To be honest, I was having a bit of a rough day so having strangers greet me with such warmth and familiarity really brightened my night. :) The service alone would get me to come back, so I was very pleased to find that their food was just as warm and delicious! I now am looking forward to coming back and working my way through the rest of their menu and even eating in when I can!

Certainly a no frills type of place but that doesn't mean that the food is bad, it's certainly flavored to keep customers coming back for more. Had the chicken Pad Thai, shrimp Drunken Noodles, and fried rice. The pad thai was the star of the show, sweet and tasty. The shrimp Drunken Noodles was good, the shrimp was great. I'd probably skip the fried rice. Did I mention really fair pricing? Definitely a great place to stop by if you're craving Thai food and around the area!

Ordered delivery and the dish wasn’t good and there wasn’t much steak. The dish was super salty and tasted like more fish sauce than anything. I am writing this review at 7:33 am cause I got food poisoning from eating here. I woke up at 6:30 am with major cramps in my stomach. Been hurting and in the bathroom since.
