El Cerdo Bourne End

Spent a gorgeous sunny afternoon on the terrace with friends listening to the live jazz artist which created a lovely vibe. Tried the monkfish special which was divine. All the dishes were delicious, heritage goat cheese salad, chargrilled leeks, fried squid & prawns…. We ate a lot! The service was super from Megan & Ali. Thank you all :-)

I have dined at El Cerdo Maidenhead many times, and this was the first time coming to El Cerdo Bourne End - and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious as it always is (never had a bad experience) and those panoramic views overlooking the river are just amazing. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and they were so helpful in recommending dishes for us. And now they do breakfast, I'll be back to try that as well!

Food here was really nice Gemma was absolutely lovely, really nice to talk to, answered all our questions and really set the mood as it was our first time, she took the time to explain the menu options and food. This is such a gem of a restaurant. Stunning views, delicious and generously sized tapas, brilliant service (thank you Pale) and if you are lucky enough to catch the live music then you are in for a treat! Absolutely worth booking, especially for a special occasion.

We booked at the last minute (but got in, luckily). It was a Saturday night and we got the last table reservation (& the last parking place!), as it was very busy. A great atmosphere and the tapas was fabulous (although not cheap), but every single plate was delicious. There was even a singer playing Spanish guitar, which added to the atmosphere. This was our first visit and we will be coming back. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious authentic tapas and beautiful outdoor seating that’s heated (even in winter). We particularly recommend the pan de cristal and jamón iberico with olives as a starter, followed by the squid ink rice, octopus, and the classic patatas bravas - absolutely wonderful! Pale provided us with excellent service throughout the evening, and was friendly and informative. We’ll definitely be coming back (especially in summer).

We love El Cerdo and always choose it for special family occasions. Fantastic food, a great kids’ menu, and a beautiful Thames view. Special thanks to Nyle—exceptional service, warm and attentive, and made our Christmas lunch memorable.

We loved all our food! It was so delicious, especially their paella from the specials menu!! The staff was so kind and welcoming! Our server Pale, especially! The music was so cool, too!

Came in for Christmas Eve, had a very pleasant evening served by Nyle and Megan. The food was delicious followed by some brilliant cocktails especially the susurro de limon made by Jae. Great way to spend Christmas Eve!!

We had a good time at El Cerdo Bourne End. Pale looked after us and she was amazing. She engaged positively with everybody at our table and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Food was good except for the black rice with was a bit under cooked and flavourless.

We had a fantastic evening. Our waitress Pale was really helpful and all of the food was absolutely delicious - particularly the mushroom truffle and aubergine dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Bourne End.

Super Tapas, will definitely visit again. Great service by friendly staff. Plenty of vegetarian options. Excellent for families with children. Wouldn’t normally choose it but the Mackerel was absolutely delicious, fat juicy fillets with not a bone to be found.

Pale was an absolute delite. She made us all feel welcome including the dog and the service was wonderful. The food was impeccable and the atmosphere was one of a kind. I had a fantastic evening at this restaurant on Saturday 17th I was celebrating with a party of 11. Our waitress ,Pale, was very helpful and pleasant. The manager Ali, helped advise on a pre-order of the Tapas and what great choices we had. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you. PS my apologies if the names aren't spelt correctly.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal to celebrate our anniversary. We regularly visit the Maidenhead restaurant but tried the Bourne End location and had brilliant service from Pale and a lovely meal. Would be keen to come again in summer to enjoy the balcony

Absolutely amazing food! Every dish was exquisite. Our meal was made even better by the amazing service we received. Pale was fantastic, explained all the dishes and was enthusiastic about the food. Was wonderful!

Went for lunch. Pale (our waitress) was really helpful, gave us great recommendations, which we enjoyed. The portion sizes of the tapas were very generous too. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely lovely experience. We were served by Pale, and she was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious, there were loads of dishes for us to try, each one better than the last. The vibe was great, the lights weren’t too bright, just dim enough to feel moody, there was music playing but it wasn’t too loud. A fantastic place, would definitely recommend!

Brilliant evening! We were served by Pale and she was very accommodating and knowledgeable! The food is outstanding! The beef ribs are very tasty! It was my sisters birthday and she even brought out a nice surprise at the end! Thank you! We will come again for sure!!

Outstanding - will return in the summer! Ordered a wide selection of tapas, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The cauliflower steak was full of flavour, the garlic prawns were perfectly cooked, and the ham croquettes were crisp and comforting. The lamb skewers and chorizo (we ordered both twice!) were real highlights, packed with rich, smoky flavour. The patatas bravas were spot on, with just the right amount of spice, and the goat’s cheese with honey was a lovely sweet–savory bite. We also had the Ibérico tapas frías, which added a nice, authentic touch. The cocktails were outstanding — and getting them 2-for-1 during happy hour was an absolute bonus. Service was warm, attentive and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, a fantastic meal with wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Fabulous meal here on Saturday evening. We were a party of eight & we were looked after very well by the staff. Cocktails were amazing, tapas was delicious & staff were very attentive - especially Mammi. Would highly recommend

I came here with my family and was served by Pale, the head waitress. She was such a pleasure to talk to and even fed our dog! Everyone is so nice and friendly and are really considerate. The environment is so lively and the entire place is so cultural; Spanish music, Spanish menus, Spanish food. The food was amazing- compliments to the chefs- and the service is second to none. Recently had my first visit and was very impressed. Food and cocktails were great the staff were excellent. Especially our main waitress Pale. She was very knowledgeable about the dishes and made the experience very enjoyable. I will definitely come back again.

I’ve previously been to El Cerdo a number of times and have always had a pleasant experience, but my most recent visit amazing. This was down to two members of staff Victoria and Nyle, who went above and beyond to make the experience amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly polite, attentive and welcoming. It’s not often that staff leave such a good impression, but they absolutely did and deserve a special mention. I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was important to acknowledge how great they were! Thank you!

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at El Cerdo. The tapas we chose from the main menu were delicious and we also tried several of the equally tasty specials. All the portions were very generous for tapas and so the meal worked out as excellent value. There are a wide range of drinks and the atmosphere is lovely, as are the views of the river. All the servers were friendly and knowledgeable but a special shout out to our waitress Pale who went above and beyond!

Sadly, I was unable to eat anything from the menu due to an allergy. However, the rest of my party had delicious food and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The kindly offered me free of charge a desert which was welcomed with much appreciation. Our server was friendly and very helpful and informative. Thank you.

Unfortunately El Cerdo disappointed me. Incredible location, beautiful interior and interesting idea - I looked forward to visiting this restaurant. However otherwise the restaurant wasn’t as good. Food: the menu is not very long and some dishes I wanted weren’t available at the moment. The prawns and aubergine were nice. But the most expensive dishes were not really good. The octopus was tough, steak was tasteless and the plate of jamón could be greater. Service: the most disappointing thing. The restaurant wasn’t overcrowded, just 3-4 tables were occupied, but we always were waiting for something. As result we had to refuse from desert. The waiter didn’t offer to try the wine, just filled the glasses. Then he brought the bread and olive oil, spilled the oil across the table but didn’t bother himself to wipe it. My wife had to clean that mess.
