A legendary IMMENSE slice!

It’s been 15 years since i’ve been back, and this place hasn’t changed the quality one bit. This has to be the best pizza i’ve had in nyc. 100% recommended. Definitely go for the jumbo slice - yolo, right?

Pizza place on the UWS that is open super late and has a variety of slices ready to go at any hour. It’s nice they offer giant slices, I got the Margarita and it was pretty good. Never seen a pizza places that also sells donuts 🍩

Granted I love their pizza so much, as I have been going there for my jumbo slice for years- I've noticed that since the new renovations, which includes no public access to the restroom as before- the prices have been increasing. I was quite shocked that my margarita slice was 7.75(!) and with a medium soda, it now cost me over 10 dollars!! I never paid that much in the history of me going there. That was kind of disappointing as part of Koronet's appeal - aside from the friendly countercrew!- was that these jumbo slices were affordable to students and tourists alike, as well as us locals who regularly frequent the place. I brought so many of my family and friends there. It is so cool to see the look on their faces when they saw the enormous and delicious slices for cheap price. Maybe they should now have some specials or deals, rolling back the prices on certain days or particular hours of the day. This is a great place to get a regular slice as well. The pizza is really good, and very fresh. And I still have yet to finish an entire slice!

A Morningside Heights / Columbia University institution. Jumbo slices that are high quality and available with an array of toppings. Also has normal sized (called “small”) and Sicilian. Recently renovated with more seating but no longer a public restroom. A must visit in the neighborhood. Very close to the 1 train.

People say this place is a tourist trap but this pizza is truly so good! I got the giant margarita slice and it was amazing!

Came here at 3am after a long night out and the slice of cheese pizza was huge and one of the best slices I have had in the city. Totally going back soon.

If this pizza was any more heavenly it would be served in the Cathedral around the corner. Famous for their JUMBO slices, modestly priced I might add, this tiny pizzeria serves some of the best pizza you’ll find anywhere on the upper Westside. It’s not always easy to grab an open stool and watch the Broadway Avenue crowds pass by, so just walk and eat it. You won’t make a mess; after tasting the sauce, you won’t wanna drop a bit.

Definitely the biggest slice of pizza I ever had in NYC. It was the size of the tray, my pics don't do it justice... lol I also enjoyed the taste. Definitely recommend a stop here if you're in the area or order delivery. You won't be disappointed!

Biggest slice I’ve had. I ordered a bacon and pepperoni slice without looking and was surprised when I was told it was $9. That was until I got my slice and saw how big it was. I’m walking there right now at 2:34 am about to get another one lol

They are known for their giant slices of pizza, and they aren't kidding. A pretty good NYC slice, just super sized. They had some regular sized slices too for those who are less hungry.

This is the biggest slice of pizza in New york ,for $7.75, it's well worth it. You can share this slice and be full, you won't want anything else to eat for the rest of the day and oh boy is it GOOD.

They have the largest slice of pizza ever!! And the pizza was quite good as well. $5.00USD for the jumbo slice, which isn't too bad considering how expensive everything in NYC is. Now...the only problem is figuring out how to eat it!

Solid nyc slice at a no frills joint. Place has been in business for over 40 years and does the standard nyc slices right. You can even get them jumbo sized. Carry drinks by the can or fountain drinks. Fast service. Good price point. Seating indoors or out.

Its a pizza shop so you can't expect fine dining atmosphere; though wiped down tables would have been better. The pizza however was yummy, especially the classic margherita. The jumbo slices are ENORMOUS. They boast the largest pizza in NYC and I believe that it must be true! Price point was fair for a giant slice in the city. $6.00 for jumbos. In the midst of Columbia U campus property so very conveniently located as well. Definitely a thumbs up to Koronet!

Indoors, this is purely a takeout spot, but they are kind enough to have outdoor seating. We went yesterday and the Pizza is literally the size. Love your torso, but it's not just big. If you're a lover of thin crust pizza this is the place to go. Perfectly greasy and delicious. They have two size of pizza slices typically, 'small' which is what most people would refer to as a normal slice and jumbo which is a massive slice of pizza. Paid $15 for two slices and two drinks, both of us were very satisfied

Who would know better than a Columbia women’s basketball coach where to find a good slice of pizza!?!?? We got a recommendation to try Koronet Pizza, which is right down the street from Columbia University. It was great. HUGE barely describes the size of a jumbo slice that is very reasonably priced. If you try to eat more than one slice, you may not be able to move! I definitely recommend giving it a try if you find yourself in the upper west side of Manhattan!

The jumbo slice is the biggest I’ve ever seen. I didn’t like this place at first, but it’s grown on me a lot. I definitely recommend the jumbo slice; the grandma pan pizza wasn’t as good. Props for being one of the latest-open places on this stretch of Broadway.

When they say they got the biggest slices in NYC, they mean it. Each slice must measure at least 14”. The best part is that you can share it. Even though it’s a large slice, the flavors are still there . Crispy crust, sweet tomato sauce, delicious mozzarella cheese . This is what an authentic NY Slice should taste like. None of that basil on your pizza stuff!

Chicken bacon ranch was excellent. I went back for a huge roni slice, but my friends misheard my mumbles and brought me a pepperoni roll. :( I ate it and it was excellent, and then they brought me a pepperoni slice gratis. I couldn't be more impressed.

We came in from Texas and this place comes recommended. Pizza bigger than your face. Perfect combination of crisp and flop. All the toppings (oregano, parm, garlic, and more) on the tables. Just the right amount of cheese. Wasn’t the toppings of choice but highly recommend.

Hugeeeeee slices - bigger than you would expect!! We got the eggplant parm and vodka sauce pizza, we really enjoyed! All condiments are available including hot sauce, garlic, crushed red peppers, etc. Big pizza selection including many vegetarian options. The eggplant parm pizza is a bit on the sweeter side and vodka one is very savory. Happy we tried Koronet!

Huge pizza!! The pizza, sauce and sides tastes great. There's place to sit and enjoy your food. For 5$ for a plain slice it's super filling. They also have a great selection of toppings as well as a nicely remodeled restaurant in which to eat your slice in.

Tasty pizza by the slice place! It’s open late night and great for the late night pizza place. The slices look a lot smaller in the display and are quite large. A bit pricey per slice, but they’re delicious and you get a lot of pizza each one.

Several options, speedy service and best of all: delicious. There was a decent crowd when I went in, but I had virtually no wait before I had a slice in hand. I also went back on a Saturday afternoon to order a slice as big as my head, and it did not disappoint. I'd recommend sharing it with a friend, but it's delicious on your own as well. Compared to other pizza by the slice, I think Koronet has the best crust and sauce, putting it a slice above the rest for a similar cost. Underrated and delicious.

The biggest pizza slice in NYC. And tastes great also! The thin huuuuge slice does justice someone who grew up in New York City and loves this pizza more than pizza in Italy! Crust is chewy and light and it’s ultra thin to not feel guilty eating all of it. Will return anytime I can. The grandmas is done just right with chewy and crispy and flavors that make you super happy. Staff is nice and friendly! Always adds to the great experience. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s a small pizza shop but nothing beats a jumbo sliced pizza. We tried pepperoni and chicken Alfredo. They were both really good. I liked the thin crust as well. This was my after school stop when I was in college. The flavor has been consistent over the years.

I tried regular size slices of the margherita and spinach & ricotta. Both were loaded with toppings. The margherita was generously sauced and tasted great. The spinach & ricotta was missing something to make the flavour pop. Appreciated how the dough had no cornmeal or raw flour on the bottom. They also have slices which are comically large.

Biggest slices ever! Flavor is decent for plain cheese. The table next to me was raving about how delicious their slices were (one pepperoni and the other slice was white with green sprinkles, maybe oregano). Staff is super friendly too. This is a CASH ONLY establishment, but if you forget, they have an ATM by the doors. The do have a bathroom for customer only but I think you need to ask for the key.

Pretty popular pizza place close to Columbia University. Pizza crust is pretty thin and good. Their slices are pretty large and have good topping selection for vegetarians. Pics show sicilian and grandma slices. I wish they add eggplant parmesan topping as an option to make it more enticing to pizza lovers, especially being a popular NYC pizzeria.

Good late night pizza to grab a quick bite either when heading back from a night out or on its own. I can see why Mayor Mamdani references it so often, including to the new Catholic Archbishop who prefers Chicago deep dish...for now. If he tries out a slice or two from Koronet's on a late night run I'm betting he will become a convert to this great neighborhood main stay as well.

The big slices are filing and delicious. There's better pizza out there but this kinda fits a great little (or big) niche. Pricey but good. This is not Koronet from the past. lol. It's still big but now it's Good 👍🏾

This place is great. It's a good, reliable slice shop. I just need to let them and everyone know that I had their eggplant slice and it was not just the worst thing I've had there but it was the worst thing I've ever had from a pizzeria anywhere. I wanted to whisper to the slice "blink twice if you need help." Whatever they do to their eggplant and the sauce they put on top was just so acidic and strange tasting. For context, a few blocks north at Trufa, the eggplant slice is their BEST slice by far. It's not really on their menu I don't think, but when I see they're serving it, I get it. I was hoping this would be that. From the first bite I knew I made a big mistake. But otherwise, koronet has never done me wrong so this isn't a bad post just a critique to play to their strengths

We just stumbled upon the biggest pizza slice in NYC! This slice is literally the size of your head and we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw it. But let's talk about the most important thing - the taste! The crust on this slice is crispy on the outside, giving you that satisfying crunch with every bite, and perfectly chewy on the inside, which makes it satisfying to sink your teeth into. And the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Now, we won't go so far as to say that this is the absolute best pizza in New York - after all, the competition is pretty stiff - but we can definitely vouch for the fact that these slices are fantastic and offer great value for money. You can even share it between two people and still be left feeling completely satisfied. This pizza place is a popular haunt for Columbia University students and it's not hard to see why. If you're in the mood for a massive slice of deliciousness, this is definitely the place to be!

My jumbo pepperoni slice was great. I also bought a can of soda. Spent over $10 but when I asked for a cup with ice for the soda the rude counter guy said “$1” I responded “I just spent money here.
