Super quality beer, in a beautiful space, with a great staff; what more could you ask for. Seriously though, these guys are killing it and you should get here now .... and often. So excited to have them on the brewing scene here in Brooklyn. Cheers KCBC!
Amazing brewery in the heart of Bushwick. It’s very airy and the beer list changes constantly. Great for an afternoon weekend hang out or an easy weekday evening beer. Pro tip: you can bring food
Excellent drinks and helpful staff. I threw a birthday party here and the KCBC team made the process a breeze. Thank you KCBC!
Super friendly, casual, and delicious beer! These guys bring in the best people, have the best board games, and are really knowledgeable about what they sell. Try the Beach Zombie - my personal fave!
Kings County Brewers Collective is a fun microbrewery with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed visiting here and had some great beers. I'd strongly recommend it!
Beautiful, plant filled inside and amazing beers. Lots of love for IPAs and Sours here and zero complaints from me about it. Staff has been friendly and attentive every time I’ve been here. Drink beer here.
A great open space to chill out, order in some pizza, and play cards… and if you ask nicely you may get a tour. The beers are spot on: I particularly enjoyed the citra-hopped IPA and the saison.
Love this place! Got to drink a delicious stout and pet someone’s doggo! Nice staff and a good location. Bathrooms were clean and I loved the tiles with the semi spheres on them. We will return!
Great tap room for day drinking and hanging out. They were cool with me bringing in some pizza from around the corner. The session IPA is a great all rounder.
Hands down one of the best breweries in NYC. They're my default recommendation when people ask for a good brewery in the city. They consistently nail every style of beer they produce and have a great tap room. Give them a visit, you won't be disappointed!
KCBC Brewery stands out as a beacon for beer aficionados, boasting an expansive space that instantly welcomes you with its warm and inviting vibe. The sheer size of the place allows for a diverse crowd, from casual drinkers to serious hop heads, all finding their niche in this vibrant atmosphere. The selection of beers is nothing short of amazing, with each brew showcasing the craftsmanship and passion of its creators. From rich, robust stouts to crisp, refreshing lagers, there's something for every palate. The vibe is lively yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or kickstart a night out with friends. However, there's a catch—KCBC's focus is solely on their brews, meaning snack options are non-existent. While this might be a slight downside for those looking to pair their pint with a quick bite, the quality and variety of the beers on offer more than make up for it. It encourages guests to immerse themselves fully in the tasting experience, perhaps even prompting a visit to local eateries before or after. In essence, KCBC Brewery is a must-visit for its exceptional beers and the nice vibe it offers, even if it means planning your snacks elsewhere.
Great local brewery and taproom. Every time I've been there, the quality and selection of beers left nothing to be desired. The space is well designed with plenty of tables and a polished look that doesn't make you forget you're in a brewery. They also have board games, food popups and events.
Best beer I've had in NYC. Tasted 5. The staff is delightful and the service just perfect. A must visit if you're into great brew or just want to experience a well run friendly outfit.
Such a good experience. Their beer was amazing, more than 10 beers on tap. I love how they always have some sours and barrel aged beers. Their staff was amazing. Say what’s up to Max.
BEACH ZOMBIE IS THE ULTIMATE SUMMERTIME BREW! Also an Amazing brewery, varied and rigorously updated selections (not just beer!) You can smell the aromas of brewing while tasting their amazing product. Always cool AC, nice weekly food pop-ups, and clean bathrooms.
KCBC always has delicious, lovingly crafted beers on tap, many of them being top-tier collaborations with local places. The service is always fast and courteous and the bathrooms are generally clean. There are board games to play, or bring your own, and dogs are super welcome.
Along with the other breweries we toured last weekend we made sure to stop by KCBC, as we've been fans of their beer for a long time but have never made it to the brewery itself. In comparison to the other breweries we stopped at KCBC actually seemed a lot larger, less crowded but still very populated, and we had no problem getting a seat at the bar. The beer was great, and KCBC seemed to be the most cleanly of all the breweries we stopped at that day (and most well-lit!). The staff was great and we will definitely go there again when we're in town.
We were lucky enough to try Robot Fish at the beach with friends. One of the best beers we've ever tasted. After that taste we signed up for a membership and got a few Crowlers. The Sandcastles Saison and Dangerous Precedent did not disappoint. We can't wait for the taproom to open so we can bring all our beer loving pals.
KCBC is easily the best brewery in New York City. And there are other fine breweries, this one has never lead me astray and has introduced me to varieties I was not aware of. It also seems like a good date spot based on the ratio that seems more balanced than most tap rooms.
KCBC may be my favorite NYC brewery. They reliably offer a range of beers from lagers to sours to the more of-the-moment IPAs of consistently high quality, the bartenders are always friendly, and on a more surface level they have a comfortable, high-ceilinged space that provides for my money a better experience than certain more widely-known local spots. A+.
Sweet set-up with original interior fittings - not sure about the low tables though. The beers we tried were excellent - Robot Fish being my personal go-to beer. Bring a friend and you could stay awhile without knowing it...
Really nice taproom located in an old wearhouse. Six to twelve beers on tap, and one local cider. A couple of cans and bottles to stay or to go. Giant windows facing the streets lights up the space during the day, and even gives you a little bit of outdoor vibe during the summer when they're open. Can get pretty busy during the weekends but you can usually find a place to sit. Dog friendly. Bonus point for the L train info on top of the fridge.
This place is like a second home to me, with good reason. Amazing staff, best brewery for quality and variety in the area, and one of the best in NYC period. Very friendly to the local art scene too, if their comic-art style labeling doesn’t give that away.
Stopped in the area on a tour. Found this place by accident looking for a restroom. Guy running the bar let me and my wife taste a few beers before deciding what we wanted. Super friendly and well kept. If you’re in the area stop by and have a beer for me!
One of my fave Brooklyn breweries. They have great IPAs which is pretty much the bar around here. But their pilsners are also always lovely which I think is a too oft overlooked fact. Plus the space is cute and they take the safety of their guests given the pandemic really seriously which is always nice to see.
Really chill Bushwick brewery with a solid lineup of cleverly named beers. Wanted to stop by for one beer, but the brews and vibes were so good I stayed for more. Tried the 100% Idaho, Octopus Drum Solo, Mr. Pomelo, and The Great Catsby. Of the bunch, my favorite was Octopus Drum Solo - a citra hopped double IPA, probably one of their more well known beers and one I’ll be coming back for. And great news- the brewery is located near many great restaurants, so if the munchies hit you are covered.
They no longer fill up personal growlers and one cannot customize their 4 packs but they still make fine beer. They do offer pre-mixed 4 pack cans and the taproom is now open.
Such a good brewery and a wonderful space with a great staff. Love coming here!
Between the aimrt and the staff, this place is awesome. I have heard that the beer is also awesome here too(but I can't drink it). However they have more than beer and they have na too! They play all the major sports if that's your thing. You can reserve tables for parties. Beers are great, staff are great! Seriously give them all the tips. And they often have pop up food, whis had always been spot on! Tonight was good by Q! Yummm... I hope you get a Q food night! Also, all bathrooms are non gendered and clean. Drink here be happy..
Ava was my bartender and absolutely made me feel so welcome and taken care of as a solo visitor. My first time and enjoyed the beer, atmosphere, and bar staff so much! Will absolutely be coming back!
I really like this brewery, but they get crowded fast! I recommend reservations. I’m also happy that they now offer more than just beer for my gluten-challenged friends.
Here 6/29/25 and very cool beer options, nice space, and good music however of course you come here for the beer! The neighborhood is also great for graffiti and seeing the old NYC. We tried paws and Octo Brau and enjoyed both. Today they had fries with benefits for food.
Yer basic taproom, a bunch of their own great beers on draught and can, mix of lager, IPA and silly stout. Bar staff that know the beers. The afternoon I visited there was a DJ on playing some light rock, a nice amount of background ambience without getting in the way of having a conversation.
Great beers from KCBC. We visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the place was pretty quiet. The choice of beers was very good with lots of different styles to try. We opted for a tasting board, which allows you to pick any four beers that they have on tap. This is a great offer and allowed us to sample some amazing beers, including a great 14% imperial stout.
Definitely worth the trip from Manhattan out here. On a trip where we stopped at 5 breweries in and near the city, this is the only one I am currently planning to go back to. Many good beers. Indoor seating is a nice atmosphere, as is the outdoor. Not many employees, but very efficient at getting us drinks. Looking forward to going back and grabbing some cases some day in the future. ________________ 🌏Weight Loss Motivation. 🔥Impressive Weight Loss. She Used This 1 Easy Trick! Instagram👉 @slims_pro
Hazy IPA lover’s paradise. - Dog friendly, nice space, friendly service, great beer! - Outside food is allowed to eat here. - Happy Hours, yes! - fruity sour beer, yes! We ordered 2 Hazy IPA with the servers’ recommendation and they are sooo good! Dynamite Evaluation is my favorite that comes with a fruity aurora and 🫧, very flavorful and refreshing!
Terrific local brewery with good music! Lots of beers on tap and can also sample a flight. You can also buy canned beer. We got a 4 pack of their pilsner. The cans are very colorful with interesting graphics. The service is very friendly. This is a great place to hang out on the weekend!
Photos have cards with the drinks labeled. Brewery in Brooklyn with casual seating and decent selection of draft beers. They have half-off flights on Wednesday and Mon-Thurs happy hours so more worth to go during those times. The pours here were all very good — there wasn’t one I didn’t like. The kombucha honestly was my favorite. It was like a light kombucha and very refreshing on a hot day. Even if you don’t enjoy the “kombucha stank”, you’ll enjoy this one. I recommend getting the mango.
Love this place. Literally a gem in the neighborhood. They always change up their brews. The beer is never less than excellent. Great place to go after dinning around the area, or roll in with the kids / it is stroller friendly after lunch / early dinner. They let you buy food outside and bring it in, but nowadays I saw they had a food truck in there on the weekend. They have lots of games to entertain everyone of all ages. The beer selection and tastings alone are entertaining enough- not to mention the names they pick for their beers!
Great place! Good brews , great environment and outdoor seating to enjoy drinks at. Located in the heart of bushwick, right around the corner from the bushwick collective , after your drinks maybe a quick stroll for some art?
Cool place, some beers like my nice Pilsner was at friendly $6. But, one of the smallest "pints" I have ever seen. Lets stick to generally recognized volume and measurement standards.
gonna give this 4 stars. really like the space. crowd was pleasant. clean and fun playing games. the beer just didn't stand out for me. was hoping to be surprised by taste and after trying 2 flights i just wasn't that impressed. bartenders were also a little inattentive.
Great beer in a fun open space with communal tables. Certainly not the best brewery in the area, but KCBC is definitely trending upward lately with their hops and sours. Love that its bring your own food.
You can’t go wrong going to a brewery with a couple friends on the weekend. We got flights because how could we choose just one? loved the pink sour. I recommend getting reservations ahead of time because we had to sit outside, which wasn’t the greatest setup.
I arrived here one night and sat down at the bar. I ordered their stout which was quite good but otherwise the bartenders ignored me for the whole night. The place closed early and I was surprised by it without them asking me for a last call. It's a quiet place, not one I'd recommend to be social.
If you are interested in international quality beer, I wouldn't come here. This is more of a ipa and upstate craft beer kind of place. Packed with young Bushwick crowd and groups playing boardgame and loud music playing, this happened on a busy hot summer day. I am sure it's less loud and crowded on a quiet night. I think I only saw susage on a bun the only food option here. Rest are selection of 15 beer ipa. At $6 to $8 a pop, you can enjoy it for a good 20 minutes or at least for me. I am not a fan of these beer because they don't taste good to me. If you like German beer, I advise you to stay away. Place is huge but still hard to find a place to sit.
Grew brews. Flights are a good way to try multiple. Can also get cans to go. Vibe was super fun, people selling food, and plenty of board games. Like many of these breweries, a bit tight (especially on a weekend), so you might be up close to someone who just ran 10 miles and is now in a onesie. Anyways, great beers, and the vibe is as good as you make it. Also, if you're debating coming for an afternoon, make sure to check out the area / surrounding blocks -- this spot is in a sweet part of Bushwick
Lovely spot! Went for bar trivia and ended up really enjoying how open and casual the place is with movie themed beers and a kind staff.
Kings County Brewers Collective Est. 2016 Layout/atmosphere *Bar area; to-go refrigerator; tables; colorful wall art; projector screen; tables on sidewalk Food/drink *No food menu *Slushie machine (two flavors) *KCBC Jurassic Bark IPA (draft) - OK; hoppy, grapefruit *KCBC Penguins in Space Hazy Pale Ale (draft) - above average; pineapple
The area is really cool. Come pay it a visit. It’s not far at all. Incredible beers 100% made in Brooklyn (Bushwick to be more specific). Incredible names, really funky cans, all the brews I’ve tasted are good. Friendly atmosphere and freshly made tacos on Tuesdays. What else do you want ? I love Brooklyn.
Great experience here during Happy Hour! Excellent $5 pours of their Hazy IPA and Pilsner. Can’t beat those prices. The area is pretty chill too. Loved all the plant life and they have finessed the homey yet industrial feel of the spot. Their brews were all strong and I loved how many four packs they served. No food, which is very ok! Here for the beer and that’s all. Excited to trek back to bushwick again sometime to visit!
I love this place and their beer but they should tell the skinny girl with glasses on Tuesdays to be more careful with the customers. She crossed when I was at the bar, without saying excuse me or anything. They have one of my favorite beers. I always drink here and order to go, I hope my next visit will be better.
Excellent but indifferent to the taproom. Small place with many hard, reflective surfaces. It was crowded so this means it was very loud - uncomfortably so. Barkeeps were indifferent, not especially friendly and had to wait a while to be noticed when waiting for a drink. Most importantly, the flight of four beers ranged from very good to truly outstanding.
Beers are well and good. The barmaid was uneven and curt with me. Kept giving me a weird look and was confrontational. Eventually I got in an argument that somehow escalated to the manager cutting me off. I've never seen such weak customer service from a watering hole in my life. Felt rather inauthentic, pretentious, bourgeois, and corporate. Silly and lame for a brewery in Bushwick. Two stars for good ale and a large storefront with funky decor. If you just want a throwaway brewery for your tourist Bushwick moments this one will happily oblige.
Morbid Curiosity is super-fun trivia, the beers are great, and the bar staff has always been on their game, IME. That said, unless the doors are open and you can get seated away from the bar, it's an absolutely miserable place to talk. It was 90dB when the music was /off/, and having to scream to have a conversation with friends who are sitting next to me sucks. Two of our party bailed early. The best beers in the world won't make a bar good if you can't share them with the folks you're there with; at that point, you're drinking alone next to people. The place could be a five-star experience if they'd put in some sound-absorbing materials and tell whoever's DJing that it's a bar, not a dance club.
