Avaliações de Diamond Slice Brooklyn
The superior French onion pizza. Very Laid-back and clean pizza place. Doesn't try as hard as other spots while a being able to serve whole pies AND slices.
This is the BEST pizza. Cheese and tomato slices are GOAT. Better than Lucali, Ceres, Scarrs, Best Pizza, Razza, Tokyo, Italy, etc. This is the best pizza. This pizza got me emotional and close to a religious experience eating this slice.
write this review as I’m eating their supreme slice. Diamond Slice Pizzas slices are thin, crispy, and flavorful. They’re fairly priced and the quality is unmatched. The staff is friendly and there’s not much more you can ask for. They’re in my rotation and I believe you should support all local pizzerias that slap because that’s the right thing to do and honestly, I’ve been visiting them the most.
Diamond Slice might just be one of the best pizza spots in all of New York City—no exaggeration. Try it yourself and taste the difference. Every slice is a masterclass in balance: high-quality ingredients, a perfectly crisp undercarriage, and just the right char. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week, and not once has it let me down. Consistently incredible. A true gem for pizza lovers.
TOP TIER SLICE SHOP. Been in NYC since the 90s and this is one of my favorite slices of all time. Was getting my hair cut at Cut Shop and passed Diamond Slice on the way over. Looked good. Doubled back after the haircut. The interior is spacious, classy, and timeless. Decor is on point and the vibez are right. The slices on the counter look like you could just grab one and eat it as is. (So many NYC slice shops have slices that look a little grey and glazed until they get a 3 minute reheat in the oven.) I got the Buffalo chicken and the Elote slices. Both were exceptional. Thin and crispy NO FLOP crust with a beautiful bite. Incredible flavors and fresh ingredients. They got a sink in the dining area to wash your hands post-meal! Huge clean bathroom. I mean, this might be the slice shop to beat in Brooklyn period.
I got a few different slices here and they were all good; especially if you like thin sliced pizza. The slices were all very flavorful and can tell that they use quality ingredients to make the pies. The place was full when I was there with streams of customers coming in to the store which is always a good sign. The place is not very big and there are few tables. So, it is better for take-out and sit in the near-by park to eat it.
Probably our fav slice in the city (after trying Lucia, Mamas TOO, L’Industrie, and so many others several times). Seriously the flavors, dough profile, dimension and bite were so good that we’re still thinking about it the next day. Do yourself a favor and head to Diamond Slice! Great Pizza! Ordered take-out and it was fantastic. Expect a wait (I ordered on-line) and it said ETA was about 45 mins later and when I arrived i only waited a few short minutes. Seemed like folks getting slices waited 10 - 15 mins max and it was slammed so IMO that's pretty good. Definitely will go back again!
is this my new favorite nyc slice?! the guys that work here are so nice and welcoming, the vibes are so good for a casual meal / snack. I looooved the tomato slice. I was skeptical about the caesar salad slice, but it was surprisingly good— kinda like an open face sandwich. looking forward to coming back!
Having a coffee at Poloma while chatting with this super friendly guy who obviously knows local food. asked him for his favorite pizza and he humbly mentions he runs the shop across the street and we should try it. I ate there three days in a row and skipped every other pizza on my travel list. Diamond will quickly get on every local's top tier list. I miss that spicy vodka slice so much
Traveled from Philly to try this and WOW it did not disappoint. Tried a medley of slices and not a single one missed any marks. Everything from the toppings to the dough is exceptional. Going to be a staple every time I come back
From the first slice I had here it became my new favorite pizza in the city. Just all around perfection. Crust, sauce, cheese, even the pepperonis, cooked just right, hot and crispy but not burnt. Staff is so nice, I just love this place, can’t recommend it enough.
Stumbled into this spot in Williamsburg and honestly, it’s the best pizza I’ve had since moving to New York. Properly crisp base, great toppings, and you can’t beat the price for the quality you’re getting. The staff were genuinely friendly as well — not just polite, but actually welcoming. Definitely my new go-to pizza place!
Diamond Slice is like that old school, local pizza shop everybody knew and loved, but transported to the modern day with all of us. The owner is a wonderful ma who grew up right here, and the whole crew is always a delight. The pizzas are stunning, I highly recommend trying the Elote or the French Onion slices. Their classic icons like Pepperoni and Cheese are also to die for. The dough is always perfect and the cheese has that iconic stretch.
I was just driving on my way home and for whatever reason this spot caught my eye. I made a whole U turn and stopped by for some experimental purposes. I didn’t know I’d be running into a new top tier pizza spot in nyc especially amongst all the competition. The elote square was unreal, perfectly executed. The ceasar salad I was skeptical about due to a salad on pizza I was wondering if it will be cold or the lettuce hot. But they executed it perfectly, perfect balance that I didn’t even notice. I was just enjoying an incredible pizza and the ceasar salad is incredible, if you gave me that as a salad I’d be happy, be aware tho you can taste the anchovies which some people may be put off by but real ceasar salad fans would appreciate. Amongst all that, the jalapeño pepperoni was my favorite still and overall I’d say atm, this spot is in my top 5 easily. I can just see the quality radiate from the slices and even better you could taste it. Must try!
If you’re in Brooklyn, this pizza place in Greenpoint is an absolute must. Perfectly crisp crust, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors that hit every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or sitting down for a full pie, the quality is consistently top-tier. The vibe feels effortlessly cool and neighborhood-authentic, making it even better.
Pizza slices served in an inviting sit down location. Plentiful seating. Very clean, retro modern vibe. Basic bottle drink options. Window tables can get very sunny in the afternoon. Don't be shocked to see a line outside. Also, don't fear waiting on line; it moves really fast! Pies and slices are cooked well with a moderate amount of char and good crust crunch.
We stopped in on here enroute to the marathon and boy am I glad we did because I had the best pizza of my life here😭 It was the last slice of the spicy vodka pie which has pepperoni on the top and I went with it since the staff member recommended it and it seemed popular as it was all gone and I think I saw some people eating it...I haven't stopped talking about this damn pizza since I had it because it was that good😫 I only wish I had another slice...overall go here as much as you can because it really is a diamond!💎 The staff are nice too, the toilets clean and they reheat your slice if it hasn't just come out the oven which is good.
Definitely the best pizza in this area I have to say . More customer friendly slices and the pies are right . Well done it hits all the marks . Not much more to say. No tik tok BS
Quickly becoming one of my favorite slices in NYC. Super crispy but nice chew and softness on the inside and you can tell the ingredients/ toppings are high quality. Staff is super chill and kind as well!
Truly one of the best slice selections and some of the best pizza in Brooklyn. Diamond slice definitely did not disappoint
This place is a GEM. The pizza is crisp (no limp slices) with delicious toppings - the Buffalo chicken was my favorite, closely followed by the Caesar slice which was loaded with salad (and clearly a homemade dressing!), the vodka slice was also a can’t miss. Can’t wait to be back to try more from them, such a good spot!
The buffalo and caesar slices are incredible. And the staff is kind and the line moved so fast. I think about the advice, "If you're in New York and you see a line for food, look a block away and find the better food." That's Diamond Slice for Greenpoint pizza. Hoping for more seats but that's my only complaint.
NY style pizza at its best. Fresh quality ingredients and the crust is chewy and crispy. I tried half their cheese pizza which is highly recommended. There's some seating indoors.
Best pizza ever ! I think this is best pizza I have ever tried , you can taste the unique flavors plus it looks just beautiful.Very friendly service!
Perfect crust and amazing crispy taste! Especially the pizza with pepperoni and some of the spicy honey is spectacular! The place itself is relatively small at the moment, but still good for a quick NY pizza or to pick up your order like most people do. Staff is very friendly and happy seeing you enjoy the beautiful slices.

Hands down, one of the best slices this side of brooklyn. People will come in and grab ALL the to-go slices, but fresh pizzas come out expeditiously. Super good vibes and very friendly staff~ every slice shop should have a sink to wash your hands outside of the bathroom.

Diamond Slice Pizza has masterfully crafted a thin crust cheese slice that’s nothing short of incredible. Each bite delivers a perfect balance of tangy sauce, flavorful cheese, and crispy crust that truly pops in your mouth. It’s a simple slice done exceptionally well.

I will go ahead and say it- best pizza in the neighborhood. -You can buy individual slices. -The line moves quickly. -Indoor and some outdoor seating. -Crispy but not charred crust. -Great selection of different types of pizza. -Prices comparable to other pizza places.
Just heated up the Sicilian slice—oh my! Stopped in after hitting Chrissy’s. This place was so so good. The buffalo slice and the chicken parm slice were both delicious. The cutlet is perfectly seasoned and the additional toppings were both incredible. White mushroom was great and the regular slice is great too. Fantastic value for this level of pizza too—got four slices and a drink for $25 which is very reasonable nowadays.
Diamond slice has been a blessing in our neighborhood. It's my new favorite pizza shop in the area as you don't need to buy a whole pie to enjoy pizza. Also their elote slice is amazing and the staff are always smiling and friendly. Highly recommend coming by and bringing the family!
Had some very excellent pizza from here over the weekend. We got a full pie of cheese, generously sized and cooked to perfection, and tried a slice of the Caesar salad pizza -- very great and worth a shot if it is intriguing you. All their offerings looked so good, from conventional combos to more interesting and enticing toppings. Overall a very great spot, excellent pizza and amazing service.

The mushroom slice was a fantastic combination with the creamy ricotta, though I felt it could use a bit more flavor—perhaps some garlic in the mushroom mix to really elevate it. The BBQ Chicken slice, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious. What I loved most about both slices was how light they were, not greasy at all. The fresh parmesan on top added a nice touch and really brought the flavors together. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth a visit!
I visited Diamond Slice for the first time to try their Caesar slice. I love a good Caesar salad and pizza, and the combo sounded fun. The slice is served cold (makes sense so the lettuce doesn’t wilt), but some of the lettuce was still a bit soggy, which threw off the texture a little. Flavor-wise, the slice was underwhelming. Either the salad could have used more seasoning before being placed on the pizza, or the cheese/base layer needed more flavor. The combination just didn’t come together the way I’d hoped. At $5.44 for a single slice, it’s also pricier than a typical slice. I probably wouldn’t get the Caesar slice again, but I’d give some of their other slices a try next time.
Respectable slices. Wish they had more seating inside and would expand their hours to accommodate the late-night bar scene that surrounds them.
Caesar slice continues to be a juggernaut of keeping my girlfriend happy while we tightrope the balance of me wanting pizza and her wanting salad. Bonus points for the high caliber vodka sauce they make

Delicious New York pizza 🔥the pepperoni just hits different. my wife loves the Caesar Pie.
Diamond Slice has received plenty of buzz since opening in Greenpoint, with several write-ups highlighting both its pizza and its striking space. The restaurant sits right at the intersection of Diamond Street, and the layout reflects that geography. once inside, the dining room takes on an almost pentagon-like shape, creating a unique and visually interesting interior. The décor and atmosphere are undeniably cool, and the staff throughout the space were friendly and welcoming. But at the end of the day, we came for the pizza. Sticking with tradition, we ordered a classic slice to get a baseline for what they do. The tomato sauce was excellent, bright, well-seasoned, and clearly made with good ingredients. The flavor of the tomato really came through. Where the slice lost me was the crust and overall structure. It leaned a bit too floppy for my taste, and the dough had a chewiness that didn’t quite work for me. The shop offers a wide variety of slices with different toppings, which is appealing, but the underlying dough itself didn’t feel particularly standout. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe their specialty slices are where the kitchen shines most. Diamond Slice certainly has the buzz, the design, and the hospitality going for it. But when it comes strictly to the pizza, there are stronger options both in Greenpoint and across New York City. Overall: 3 out of 5 stars.
Pizza is *okay* but they closed at 8 and instead of telling the people line, they were just kind of hiding and being weird. IDK if this is because they’re not from around here but closing an NYC slice shop at 8 is very weird. I lived in Dallas, TX and even there that would be a shamefully early hour to close for a pizza shop
Ordered one pie to go, usually takes 15 min. After 40 min of waiting approached the counter asking is everything ok with my pizza and this guy Peter C. is like oh… it’s been here all this time and hands me over cold pie. I was sitting and waiting right in front of him, he was the guy who took my order. Never buy from this place again.
I went for lunch. The guy in the Orange hat was dirty and distant. Not worth the tip. Every pie in the case was burnt and some were just open air. The unshaven cashier handles money and food without washing his hands. The pizza was gross. Plain tomato sauce on bread. Invisible cheese. They put a leaf on top like a garnish because there is no flavor. Worst place I've,tried in Greenpoint. Nasty gas station pizza is better.
