Avaliações de Hamachi Sushi Brooklyn
I would say it’s the best sushi in the city, I highly recommend the Philadelphia roll, chicken tempura and spider roll, really good, and the customer service it’s great!
The food was delicious I ordered the spicy tuna sandwich, cucumber salad, and miso soup and received amazing service from my table server Jenny! She made my experience worth returning for!
100% the best sushi spot on the city. Sushi is flavorful and service is amazing. Price is not bad and portions are fare
It was such an amazing experience from our welcome into the sit down and leaving. Not only was the food fantastic and the servers suggestions enigmatic, but they also had a heated fan directly pointed at us as we enjoyed our meal. My favorite server was Jenny. She was the kindest and sweetest person. I truly felt as if she enjoyed assisting in being kind to me.😚🫶🏿
The BEST customer service I have received in a NYC restaurant. Food was great, I got the sushi sandwich which was recommend by the staff - amazing!! Overwhelmed by how amazing this experience was. Again, sweetest staff ever, I love them and I love it here!!!
Great sushi, amazing happy hour specials. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was fast to come out. Super delicious, can’t wait to go back.
What a spread for the price! Very fresh and unexpected in portion size (in the positive)! I ordered delivery so I cannot comment on the atmosphere and the dine-in service bit my order was ready super fast and even delivered 12 minutes earlier than anticipated. I HIGHLY recommend the Sushi Sandwich. Sooo good! Flavorful and melts in your mouth. But again, good portion, so share with a friend!
hamachi 34 is genuinely the cutest thing ever!! not only is the atmosphere so comfy and calming with the warm lights and decoration, but the food and service is out of this world. i was expecting just another sushi restaurant but the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food (especially considering its affordable price) made me 100% sure about coming back whenever i visit ktown next.
We had shrimp gyoza, takoyaki, the sushi pizza and the sushi sandwich. With miso of course. This is my 3rd time here and I get the sushi pizza every time! It’s such a cute place, our waiter Jimmy is very outgoing and playful as well as honest with his suggestions. The staff was very attentive to our table with water and getting our finished dishes put away. It was a tasty meal with nice pricing to be in the heart of manhattan. Definitely can’t wait to come back!
Delicious Sushi and Family-Friendly Atmosphere! I had a great experience dining at this Japanese restaurant. The sushi was fresh and flavorful—definitely some of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. If you’re bringing kids, there’s something for them, too! My little one loved the fried rice—it was tasty, perfectly seasoned, and generously portioned. This place is a great option for families who enjoy Japanese food but need something for younger taste buds as well. Highly recommended!
Found this place by chance. Next time will be intentional! I enjoyed their happy hour so much. I am now obsessed with their Hamachi Kama. So crispy and tender. And the sauce?! I would die for it. I got a few other appetizers and they were all delicious! The service is also amazing. I dined solo but with Jimmy as a service I felt like I was among friends the way he interacted with each table. He had me cracking up! I cannot wait to come back!
I found this place on TikTok and I am excited to say it was phenomenal. The staff is great - when you walk in, everyone is very friendly and kind. The food was exquisite, and also the drinks. The service was exceptional - Jimmy was the best server and made us feel comfortable and at home. 10/10 recommend this place is your looking to celebrate something, have a girls night, or just overall indulge in some good sushi on a chill night with a warm cozy artsy atmosphere! 🍣🍱🍹🍶
Solid casual spot for traditional rolls and sushi spot offerings. Everything is decently priced. Walked in on a weekend late afternoon and the place was starting to get packed towards the evening. We ordered a few items off their Happy Hour menu + a few off the regular menu. HH weekdays are 4-7 pm + weekends 5-7 pm, FYl! What we got: - Crispy Rice: Great bite-sized pieces; filling! - Gyoza / Kani Salad: Good, standard bites - Sex on the Beach Roll / Rainbow Roll: Both were tasty with fresh fish! The fish:rice ratio were on point as well! - Shrimp & Veg Tempura: Crispy, fresh, and delicious. Overall, I'd deem this as a reliable neighborhood spot. Would definitely recommend + return for when I'm in the mood for casual sushi!
Overall I would recommend this place because the sushi is very fresh and good quality. I ordered the sushi lovers combo platter (yellowtail) and it was very filling. I also recommend the gyoza especially during happy hour because the deals are really good for drinks and appetizers. We also ordered the spicy salmon crispy rice which I was not the biggest fan of, but my friend liked them. Maybe just me. The matcha crepe cake is PHENOMENAL, like some of the best I’ve ever had. Also, the decor inside is really wonderful. There’s anime If you have the chance to eat her in person you definitely should.
When I arrived, the two women at the front desk seemed visibly frustrated,. Seem like they had a lot of to go orders. I stood there for a few minutes before they asked me what I wanted. I couldn’t help but feel like I was interrupting them. It’s a cute place, filled with things to look at, like action, figures, and flags, and all kinds of cool Asian art. I was sat down, and the waiter was very friendly, at first . I asked him what he recommended and he told me about a favorite on TikTok, the sushi sandwich, and a couple of his favorites. I ordered a few things, Shishito peppers, shrimp gyoza, and the sushi sandwich. The Shishitos were not good., they were tough like they were undercooked and they had no seasoning hardly. The shrimp gyoza was OK, just OK. They looked like they had been steamed and fried. So kind of wet and had crunchy spots. The sushi sandwich came out and it was actually very good.. The waiter told me that I should eat it with my hands. I get that, but I feel like they should offer a wet towel or at least a wet, wipe or something to wipe your hands if they’re expecting you to eat it with your hands. I told the waiter I wanted to order more food, he was visibly annoyed. He didn’t come back to take my order., I flagged him down and he sent someone else to me. Then he left, so I’m assuming his shift was over and he didn’t want to be bothered. Overall, I felt like this restaurant was mid. Although the sushi sandwich is innovative and tasty and the ambience was interesting.
I came here to grab a quick bite b4 my other plans. I ordered 2 things a shrimp tempura roll w/ just shrimp and cream cheese and a spicy tuna crispy rice from Happy hour. They brought out the shrimp roll and it was wrong. They put shrimp and avacado. They fixed it the 2nd time around. After i finished the roll. The finally brought out the crispy rice. Over cooked hard and BURNT. When I told them i had to go and to remove the crispy rice from my ticket they Insisted there was no manager there but the manager doesn’t remove happy hour food bc it’s all ready discounted and they will lose money. They wanted to remake it but i was running late for my trip. I ended up paying for a nasty roll i didn’t eat and missing my train STILL!
waitress demanded tips from my friend (who thought she had tipped but the transaction didn't go through) and was snarky and had a bad attitude towards her for that reason. of course, service workers should always be tipped, but she could’ve asked my friend in a kinder way, instead of demanding tips from her and honestly sounding threatening, especially for such mediocre service. i don't even remember the waitress' name because she barely served us. sushi doesn't have descriptions of what each roll/food is. 3 rolls for $15 deal is only available for online order which is a shame and the only reason we came. it’s also a shame because I actually liked my rolls but won’t be coming again because that waitress really ruined my impression of hamachi and experience as a whole.
Fish quality is very good and the interior has a nice ambiance. There was only one waiter that was super kind with great service, the rest didn’t talk much or try to bother but overall I’m pleased :) EDIT: I came here again and safe to say i will NEVER come back. When i first went I was very pleased with my time there. However this time I realized something was off. When I went to pay today and they automatically got a gratuity fee which did not happen the first time I went. When I first went the tip options were 18% through 25% but when i tipped today there was and extra percentage. MEANING after the gratuity fee of 20% I paid 7%. 27% for a party of one. I ordered the same thing on the picture below and was charged 2 completely different prices. Gratuity service is understandable for bigger parties but as someone who was a PARTY OF 1, 20% gratuity for just eating inside is insane I will NEVER come back.
