Delicious & authentic Mexican food located in the heart of Bushwick! The restaurant was COVID-safe, they took our temperature and have partitions that separate guests within the restaurant. The margaritas were tasty & strong! I ordered the margarita, chorizo nachos and al pastor taco. I was so full and very satisfied. The restaurant is fun & I loved the decorations, the staff was super friendly & attentive. If you want to get some good food & grab some drinks with friends, I would highly recommend!

Just a blast of a place with extremely solid vegan and vegetarian options. Need a Mariachi band to wash it down with? They got that too. A really fantastic and cozy place for small and large groups. Staff is insanely friendly and always on point.

Low key spot, nestled in between a residential building and a few stores, however this place does not disappoint. The food is great,and the drinks are a hit, during hot days the outback area is a hit, with music and fun, place has been around for over 10 years, so with that said, is there anything else you need to know???

This place was a cute little spot in Bushwick. I wish I got a picture of the indoor decor. They had luchador masks hung on the walls. The food was AMAZINGGGGGG but our waitress had an attitude the whole night, killed our vibe. The food portion didn’t match the prices but I’d def return for them happy hour tacos. 😋 Happy Hour is everyday from 4-7

Had a fun dinner here this past weekend. Simple chips & guac were a nice snack to go with the happy hour margaritas. I enjoyed the frozen margaritas morevthsb the regular ones, but it’s a great HH deal so we drank away. Liked the mole enchiladas a lot & the fajitas were a great portion and tasty. Looking forward to visiting again!!

A small greasy quesadilla, not handmade, in a big plate with no salad (at least some leafy greens) for decorations for $19? In my opinion, it wasn't worth it. Wished they had red wine, but no, I had to opt out for white wine. They lady server was not as friendly as I thought though the guy there was more welcoming..... 5 stars for Dia de los Muertos interior design and great selection of Mexican music.

Came around 2:30pm they were still serving brunch, had to request the main course menu. The main course meals were a little pricey. We ordered guac and chips and drinks instead.The waitress recommended the blackberry Margarita on the rocks with tajin rim, tasted sooooooo good 10/10 The ambiance is more for listening to good music and getting some drinks & taking some selfies since the decor is very cute but not necessary to grab a bite

I was very disappointed with this place i was really hoping that it would be good. My girl and i got chimichangas, the burrito was fried perfectly however everything was well under seasoned and lacked flavor. The bill was also expensive for how mediocre the food was, i dont mind paying good money for good for good food but when the food is not worth the money its disappointing. Ive had way better mexican food for a cheaper price. On the positive side, the aesthetic and vibe is very chill.

If you support this establishment, you are supporting a local restaurant who does not respect its residential neighbors. Mesa Azteca regularly stays open past its established close time blasting music, DJing, and ringing bells late into the night ~3 am. As a local, it is simply disrespectful. Please kindly reconsider eating here and enabling this kind of behavior.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I don’t usually leave reviews, but this restaurant experience was beyond awful. Music was so loud I couldn’t even hear my friends talk, and our cup almost rattled off the table lol! There were people dancing directly next to our table, and the windows inside were literally fogging up. This is not a club! I can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down for noise complaints yet, it was that loud. I’m a very reasonable person, but this place was very unreasonable. Just unnecessary! And unfortunately the food was mid and overpriced.
