Muse is the best date night spots in Brooklyn! The vibe is romantic and cozy, not to say how beautiful the garden seating is and the customer service was absolutely incredible. The food is truly authentic and delicious. Our favorite was the Wagyu fried rice, the squeeze of lemon made the flavors perfectly balanced. The BKK wings were super crispy and well flavored. They also have happy hour drinks from noon–8:30pm, so if u get a chance definitely check out their cocktails and mocktails. The purple lemonade drink was surprisingly amazing, especially for only $9! All the portions are huge (we had to pack leftovers). Plus, it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the Brooklyn Museum. Definitely coming back for next time🥰
Absolutely loved this place! For appetizers, we had the Rock Shrimp — perfectly fried and topped with a delicious sauce — and the Avocado Salad with peanut dressing. Even if you’re not a big fan of avocado, you can skip it, but honestly it tastes great on its own or with the sauce. For mains, the Beef Rib Massaman Curry was incredibly fragrant and rich — my absolute favorite. It comes with small potatoes, rice, and a side of flatbread (the bread was sooo good!). The Alaska Fried Rice (salmon over fried rice) was also amazing, served with two sauces — one spicy and one non-spicy — both delicious. We also ordered the Pad Thai (mixed seafood). I usually prefer pad see ew with wide noodles, but even though this one had thinner noodles, it totally hit the spot. It had shrimp and squid, with crushed peanuts and a squeeze of lime — super flavorful and well-balanced. For dessert, the Thai Coconut Pudding surprised me! I thought it would be like a cold coconut jelly, but it came out warm. Soft, slightly chewy, and really comforting. Drinks: Thai Iced Tea is a must-order — you literally can’t go wrong with it. The Ginger Tamarind mocktail (non-alcoholic) had a strong ginger flavor and wasn’t too sweet. Definitely coming back!
This Thai restaurant in Brooklyn is absolutely amazing. Every dish tasted authentic and full of flavor. I really loved the decoration and overall atmosphere, and the outdoor garden at the entrance is perfect for photos. I highly recommend the Mook Kung Curry — it’s so flavorful and goes perfectly with rice. The Thai Style Pork Over Rice was also one of my favorites. The pork belly was fried crispy and delicious. Their cocktails were great too, and very beautiful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and come back again!
As soon as you walk in, you can immediately feel the garden-inspired design—lush greenery, warm lighting, and soft music that naturally slow you down. It’s especially nice in the evening, perfect for chatting over a meal. The atmosphere is calm and cozy without feeling heavy or stiff. What I tried: 🍹 Purple Lemonade The color caught my eye the moment it arrived—a dreamy, soft purple. It’s refreshing with a gentle tang, not overly sweet, and pairs really well with the aromatic, slightly spicy Thai dishes. Bonus: it even matched my purple dress! 🥢 Shrimp Roll The shrimp was fresh and springy, wrapped just right. Light and clean in flavor, making it a great appetizer. 🥢 Duck Roll The duck was impressively tender, combined with vegetables and sauce for a nicely layered flavor. Lighter than expected and not greasy at all. 🍚 Beef Fried Rice Wok-hei on point. The rice grains were distinct, the beef was generous, and the seasoning was fragrant without being overpowering. 🥗 Avocado Salad The avocado was very fresh. The dressing was rich but not heavy, balancing well with the greens and vegetables—super refreshing and great at cutting through richer dishes. 🍛 Panang Curry This one really surprised me. Deeply aromatic with just a touch of heat, the coconut milk and spices were beautifully blended. The sauce was thick and comforting but not heavy at all—absolutely addictive with rice. I’d come back just for this dish, and there are so many other Thai curries on the menu I want to try next time. 🍮 Coconut Pudding The perfect ending. Smooth, light, and delicately sweet—satisfying without feeling too rich. Overall, the portions were generous and very filling. The service was thoughtful and unhurried—no rushing at all. They even helped pick up something I dropped and proactively packed our leftovers. A really complete and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.
I went here with a large group before going to the museum nearby and had a wonderful time. Their food is really delicious and was very accommodating to me (I cannot have dairy) and my friend who is vegetarian. I got the spicy soup and it was so delicious and I wish I could’ve had more of it but I was so full!! It did seem like our waiter had a hard time remembering drinks for our party, but our group was very large, so it may have been that. Probably most ideal for smaller groups so they don’t have to juggle everyone.
Lovely Thai restaurant with great vibes and authentic flavors. The dishes are well-seasoned and beautifully presented, and everything tastes fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great place for a relaxed meal with friends. Would definitely come back! 🌶️🍽️
The portions here are very generous and the food is full of flavor. I especially loved the outdoor seating, the flowers make the space feel so inviting. Great spot to enjoy a relaxed meal💐💕
I went to this place for dinner with a friend on a Friday evening, and the restaurant was already packed and buzzing with energy. My friend was seated at the bar while waiting for me, and once I arrived, we were quickly given a table. The service was good, and my friend enjoyed the drink she ordered. We skipped appetizers, though the menu looked tempting. We even considered trying the bao after the server recommended it, but knowing our appetites, we decided to go straight for the main dishes instead. I ordered my usual Thai go-to: minced pork stir-fried with basil and Thai spices, served over rice with a fried egg on top. They absolutely nailed it — perfectly spiced, flavorful, and very filling. My friend ordered a pork belly dish, which she really enjoyed as well. Overall, the food was excellent, the menu had plenty of great options, and the place clearly has a loyal crowd. By the time we left, there was already a line forming outside. The dining area isn’t very large, so I’d recommend arriving a bit early to avoid waiting. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good Thai food in a lively atmosphere.
Here’s a polished, natural-sounding Google review you can post: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Muse Thai in Brooklyn was such a great find. The soft-shell crab rice was amazing, perfectly crispy crab with rich, flavorful rice that really stood out. The Wagyu fried rice was also delicious, indulgent, and cooked beautifully. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, and the overall vibe made it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed yet elevated Thai meal. Definitely coming back to try more dishes!
I LOVE this pretty jewel box of a Thai restaurant. It's the go to for me and my gf whenever we visit the Brooklyn Museum, or are in the mood for delicious, affordable Thai food in a lovely setting . The place is gorgeous : the walls are in deep teal with gold leaf overlay. There are chandeliers and gold candelabras with fresh flowers at the up lit bar. Fabulous for a date night but also family friendly when the sun is up. The staff are solicitous but not pushy. But the food is what truly stands out. Beautifully plated and always tasty, you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose. My friend and I are both wild about the tangy roast pork with sticky rice. Sooooooo good!! And they make great cocktails. You should definitely go!!
My boyfriend and I sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender (Beer) was AMAZING!! My boyfriend ordered Red Curry w/ an Old Fashioned and I had Lava Shrimp w/ an Island Breeze. I usually do not like Old Fashioneds but the way Beer made it it was sooo good, I wouldnt order the drink anywhere else. The Red Curry was good as well, just the right amount of spicy and flavorful. The lava shrimp wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, good nonetheless, the shrimp seemed as fresh as it could get here, not over cooked, just wish the broccoli was seasoned (I used the sauce from the shrimp to dip my broccoli). The Island Breeze was just as good as the Old Fashioned. Beer was efficient, attentive, even saw that the kitchen brought out my boyfriends food first and I did not receive my plate, so he went to the kitchen to get it for me. Brought lights to the bar because it was dim. Wipes were accessible. 👍🏾👍🏾
Muse Thai is a fantastic spot with bold flavors and super fresh ingredients. The pad thai and green curry were both perfectly balanced, and everything came out hot and fast. The space is cozy, the staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. A great choice if you’re craving delicious, reliable Thai food!
Had an excellent dinner at Muse Thai. The food was flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. We ordered several dishes — the Rock Shrimp, BBQ Rib, Pad Ka Pow Beef, soft-shell crab fried rice, and the yellow curry shrimp — and every single one was impressive. The Pad Ka Pow Beef was the highlight for me; perfectly spicy and incredibly aromatic. Their cocktails were also great. “Just A Minute” and “Passion In You” were both refreshing and well balanced. Service was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. A fantastic spot for Thai food in Brooklyn. Highly recommend and would gladly come back.
Had a great night out at Muse! I happened to stumble upon this place with a friend and we had an amazing time. Our waitress was extremely attentive and accommodating, frequently checking in and refilling our water glasses. The food was delicious, with my favorite dish being the thai bbq ribs. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be back in the future! Thanks for having us!
If you’re searching for authentic Thai food in New York, Muse Thai NYC is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the aroma, presentation, and balance of flavors transport you straight to Bangkok. Every dish feels elevated yet comforting modern Thai cuisine done right. We tried the Spicy Wagyu Beef, perfectly tender with just the right heat, and the Branzino, which was fresh, flaky, and full of vibrant Thai spices. The Muse Bay Noodles were a highlight bold, saucy, and packed with flavor. For appetizers, the VS Wings (with both BKK Wings and Thom Wings flavors) were crispy, juicy, and addictive, while the Pork Bao was soft and savory perfection. To drink, the Mojito Fizzy and Non-Alcoholic Negroni were refreshing and beautifully crafted the kind of mocktails that prove you don’t need alcohol to have a great time. The ambiance is cozy yet sophisticated, with excellent service and presentation that matches the quality of the food. Whether you’re planning a date night, dinner with friends, or just exploring Thai cuisine, Muse Thai stands out as one of the top Thai restaurants in NYC.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience here. We started with the duck buns, which were delicious and perfectly tangy. We also shared two main dishes: the Drunken Noodles and the Muse Curry- both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The ambiance was calm and relaxing, and our waitress provided quick, attentive service.
Muse is located right next to the traffic light — super easy to spot! 🚦 The food here is amazing, especially the Pad Ka Pow Beef and Crispy Pork Belly Basil Fried Rice, both are must-tries! 🐮🐷 I also really love their duck, it’s flavorful and tender. The outdoor setting feels just like dining in a beautiful garden 🌸, so relaxing and enjoyable. Plus, the Thai staff are incredibly friendly and attentive 🇹🇭
Came here for a bite after being at the Brooklyn museum it’s a 10 min walk away. Totally worth it the food was amazing and fast. Such good flavors! The drunken noodles is soooo good and the duck soup was soooo amazing. They have a really good happy hour drinks are worth it! We all go the Collin’s and it was so good and tasty. 10/10 will come back again. The waitress was super nice and helpful!
Walking in the decor was on point. We sat very quickly and our waitress yatika was very attentive and quick to add some suggestions for the meals as it was my first time here. The beer was cold the Thai ice tea was great. The duck was crispy and the broth was to die for. Desert was a good way to end the meal as it was light but tasty and the service was top notch. Will be back very soon!
Went here on Monday around 4:30pm when they had just opened for dinner, so it was pretty quiet at first. It was our first visit, but Alex was very extremely friendly and he introduced us to their specialties. I especially liked the BBQ pork appetizer. The meat was very tender and the sauce hit my Cantonese taste buds perfectly. The beef rib massaman curry was also excellent too. We requested it not too spicy and it turned out extremely flavorful. I also really appreciated the little details, like the decor and presentation of the dishes. The overall vibe was great, and I'd love to come back again on a Tuesday night to enjoy the live Jazz!
Absolutely loved this Thai restaurant! The food was flavorful and authentic — every dish was beautifully presented and packed with the perfect balance of spice and aroma. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the Pad Thai and green curry! Cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back.
Our experience at Muse was ok but not phenomenal. The food was pretty good but not stand out, affordable for the location. The cocktails were tasty! Service was impatient and felt rather annoyed with us the whole time. Frequently they tried to clear dishes far before they were done (a couple ribs still on the plate, 1/3 cocktail left, we had to ask them to drop//bring back the plate multiple times). We were not moving slow and there were open tables but our waitress was pushy. Maybe worth a try but not convinced about all the 5-star reviews.
