Very courteous , and friendly when I told them it was my first time and wanted to try everything. I had the rice with chicken, chicken kebab, and curry goat. It was good to my tasting and I would definitely try their quina bread with kebab meat next time. The bread was fresh and made to order. I took the goat soup to go, I’ll review that later.

My wife and I split a lunch portion for $8. The chick pea dish (it was like Chana Masala) was delicious. The ambiance would be dramatically improved by getting rid of the loud TV, but I can't complain about tasty cheap food.

Always the best food. Prices are very reasonable. It is open 24x7. Ambiance is very mediocre. If you are looking for real good Pakistani food at very good price, then this is the place.

Only a few of their foods are good. For instance their Sheekh-Kebobs and deserve 5-Stars, chicken-Tikkah 4-stars and everything else ( Naan bread, Curries like chickpeas, goat, chicken, vegetables, Pakoras, Samosas) are barely 3-stars. Customer Service is almost a 4-stars. Seating is not very fancy or ideal for family or friends dinners, but okay for take outs.

The person on the phone kept asking me to repeat myself, which told me that he couldn't hear me very well. After going over my order twice I was pretty confident that he got it right. Only to discover when I got home with my food that he did not. I ordered a dish on the menu that clearly stated that it came with rice. After explaining that I got no rice with my dish he attempted to tell me that I ordered the item from another part of the menu where it was listed with no rice. I'm very aware of what I said because I order this dish all the time from other restaurants. Instead of apologizing to me or offering a serving of rice, he became combative and argumentative with me. He went as far as asking me if I thought he was crazy. Needless to say they will never get my business again. Absolutely horrible customer service over an order of rice.

don’t do it. ordered from ubereats and food arrived cold even though driver got here pretty quick. everything had atleast 2 inches of oil on top and there was barely any flavor so we had to add our own spices to make it edible.

I ordered chicken tikka masala and I got chicken tikka instead, I also ordered lamb tikka masala on a gyro with rice and salad and I got lamb tikka, no salad no gyro. The entire order was wrong. I spent $114 total I also ordered garlic Naan and got plain Naan. Unacceptable, I kept the order because my son and daughter came to visit from upstate NY and were starving. I am so disappointed and upset. It was my first time ordering from this place and it will be my last.

Shama Restaurant is one of the nastiest places I’ve ever walked into. The hygiene is absolutely disgusting. The workers handle food with their bare, dirty hands—no gloves, no care at all. Their nails and hands looked filthy, and honestly, I thought I was going to throw up just watching them prepare the food. On top of that, these same men take orders, serve, and touch everything without ever stopping to wash their hands. Or wearing gloves they dont give a single dam It’s beyond gross. The food itself is just as bad—completely tasteless. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone can sit and eat there. Maybe some people have gotten used to the “flavor” of dirty hands mixed in, but to me, it was straight-up stomach-turning. And let’s be real, if the workers can’t even take care of their own hygienejust look at their teethyou can imagine what’s going on in the kitchen. This place has zero standards, zero professionalism, and zero respect for customers’ health. It’s a breeding ground for illness, not a restaurant. I’ll be reporting them to the food authorities immediately, and I strongly warn anyone who cares about their health stay far away from this place.

I had a terrible experience at that restaurant. For the past few years, I used to buy regular naan for $1.50 each. However, when I went recently, they charged me $2.00 per naan while selling the same naan to other customers for $1.50. To confirm this, I sent my friend to buy naan, and they charged him $1.50. But when I went just 10 minutes later, they charged me $2.00. Their customer service is awful, and their behavior towards customers is extremely rude. On top of that, their kitchen is unhygienic, and the food they serve is old and inedible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The chicken karahi was also too old and lacked any flavor. It didn’t taste fresh at all, and the whole dish felt off. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. I ordered naan, and it was the worst I’ve ever had. The naans were not only burnt, but they were also hard as rocks, making them nearly impossible to eat. The texture was awful, and they had a burnt aftertaste that ruined the whole meal. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. There are so many better options out there that actually care about their customers and put effort into both their food and service. This place doesn’t deserve your time or money.
