Been for brunch and dinner; awesome food. Need to come back for the pancakes, which look awesome. The breakfast burrito was amazing
Came alone, as is usual when I dine out. Service was great, I had a young girl server and she was very charming. I had been wanting to try the butternut squash soup for a while, so I knew I was going to order that, but for my main I was torn between the burger and the tagliatelle, which features short rib ragu and ricotta. Everyone in the reviews seemed to love the burger, and I was starving, so I didn’t want to be disappointed, as I usually am when trying new things haha. Funny thing is the girl at the table next to mine was torn between the exact same options! I overheard the boy server recommend to her the burger rather than the pasta, and that solidified my decision to choose the burger. However, when I asked my server, she *strongly* recommended the pasta. Am I’m so happy that I did. The girl at the other table got her food before me, and she immediately told her date how disappointed she was with it. When I got my pasta, the first bite was shocking. The pasta was adorned in ricotta, and when mixed, created the exact creamy consistency I was hoping for. However, I was unprepared for the level of complexity and deep flavor that seemingly simple sauce contained. Cinnamon, red wine, caramelized onion… It tasted like a multi-hour slow roasted beef Bourgogne, which is just astonishingly impressive to achieve. Paired with the ricotta, it was bliss. The flavor did give me some fatigue, however. It definitely needs some bread to cut through the intensity and give the palate a slight break, but the bread was a bit charred and I didn’t butter it, so it wasn’t as complimentary as it should have been. Avec the right bread, this pasta would be elite. Highly recommend. The butternut squash soup came before the pasta, and it was just what I needed :) comforting with crunchy toppings, and notably they included a crispy cauliflower on top, which was bursting with flavor and was my favorite part of the soup! The drink I had, which was the Sereneco Derby if I remember, was just what I needed. Cute, served up, complex and not too sweet. I will definitely be returning.
Beautiful experience! Food is was great and service top notch. I will definitely come back here!
Sereneco has one of the best brunches! Love coming here. Very solid coffee too!
Excellent place to eat and drink. The bartender Allen is also very attentive and very knowledgeable. Thank you!
Hamburger and hand cut fries were delicious! I liked the aioli with the shishito peppers. The waitress was super friendly!
We reserved a table of 4 with a toddler for weekend brunch. They have indoor seating with A/C and outdoor dining to enjoy the nice weather. We were seated right away at our reserved time. With high chair available. Deco is neat and clean, very high ceiling. Staffs are super friendly and restaurant itself is super kid friendly. Food was superb, the short rib sandwich and the Burger are a must. Iced drinks could improve with larger sized cups.
Beautiful meal. Beautiful space. Wonderful spot that serves delicious fare in a cozy, zen setting. A bright, cozy space!
I am from MA and I come here everytime I stay in Brooklyn. Highly recommend. Dylan was a great server.
Our favorite brunch spot in NYC - excellent menu, food and coffee are delicious. Great atmosphere. We love hopping on a Citibike and riding over from LIC for brunch.
Coffee is great, staff is amazing… always super nice. They are currently only open for coffee at the window and I’ve not had all the cafe items but, what I’ve had I have loved - really recommend the Cinamann. Really excited to dine here soon - the place looks beautiful. Welcome to the neighborhood :) As per the other comment someone left, there is enough outdoor seating and it’s very nice (place just opened up and they’ve been ramping up - gotta give them a chance)
New to the neighborhood and will definitely be frequenting this place! Highly recommend sitting outside in this awesome neighborhood on a beautiful sunny day. The pancakes and breakfast burrito were absolutely scrumptious. Our server, Rebecca, was so lovely, charming and attentive, she honestly made the experience. 10 10 10s across the board!
Lovely spot. Excellent food, ambiance and exceptional, friendly service.
Beautiful double height space filled with natural light from two skylights. Great breakfast. Arugula salad was amazing
I had not been to Sereneco in a bit as my last experience there was OK not great. However they have a new chef and menu and last night we had an absolutely great meal there. Both the pork chop and roast chicken were wonderful as were all the apps we ordered. the ambiance is great as was the service. would highly recommend a trip to Greenpoint to check out.
Delicious brunch on a Sunday. Sat out front in the shade. The whipped ricotta was so good.
Very good food. The buttermilk pancakes were delicious!
Wanted to follow up on the review below for a place that has only just opened and not even opened inside yet - to say that we had breakfast here this morning and the food was delicious! Service was great and the food came within 10 minutes. Looking forward to when this spot opens properly!
Overall rating: 4.9 An absolute must visit! I hope you’re able to read this before Tuesday!! I went around 5:30 and one of the first few people that was there. I love the space and the staff was so so nice. I went for the jazz which I learned started at 6:30, so I do wish I went a bit later. It ends at 9:30 so you have plenty of time. The whipped ricotta is sooo good. I highly recommend! And they have an all night weekly happy hour which can’t be beat! The asparagus got me back on the asparagus train because it was soo good. Going solo I really liked that I didn’t feel rushed. Highly highly recommend. 🤩
Upscale new American bistro with a strong focus on fresh vegetables. The small dishes are great for sharing. Highly recommend their whipped ricotta with honey and pistachio, paired with crispy focaccia made in house. The octopus was tender and delicious but a bit small. Overall great experience and good ambiance in their lofty space.
Really great. Good apps. Had the Brussels and Ricotta. The bread is so good. Then had the short ribs which were fantastic. All 5 people at the table got them and only 2 of them had any pearl onions, mine was one without them, which was the only disappointment. We also had a bottle of cab franc and a cocktail before the apps, and came to $90 a person with tip. Great overall experience. Will be back.
Got here in time for happy hour (ends at 7pm) for their $10 cocktails on a Saturday night. I enjoyed my hibiscus marg. You must try the whipped ricotta. Not only is it smooth and sweet, they serve it with a toasted focaccia bread stick, perfect combination. We also had the caponata crostini, which is surprisingly large portioned for a "small plate" dish. Based on other Google reviews, we also got the half chicken. I was concerned the white meat might not be flavorful enough, but because it was served with a saucy potato and cheesey brussel sprout side, every bite was delicious.
Came here on a birthday when pasta louise ran out of reservations :(( The interior is more cramped then the pictures let on but comfy. The seating is cramped though, if you arent seated at the booth or the bar, waiters will definitely be trying to shimmy behind you to serve another tables food. We basically got everything on the menu, whipped ricotta which was so so good i learned how to make it myself at home. The chicken, halibut and short rib as well as the scallop ceviche were all very solid. I wouldn't say out of this world especially the brooklyn prices. If there were two recommendations then it would be the ricotta dip and the short rib that comes with polenta and sort of demi glaze. There was live jazzy music when we came and they were really trying to contest whoever was trying to hold a conversation in there, they were really loud. But overall good place to go if you're loaded with money and the area around the restaurant is nice to walk after the meal.
I came here for the pancakes. I was waiting for the bus to go home but I was so hungry and looked up pancakes on Google and this came up. I’m happy I chose this space over the other ones in this area. The matcha latte and pancakes were good. They had other options that I was looking into but I calculated that I would end up being here all day. They have a lot of natural light and they have really good and honey features like exposed brick, the colors of paint they used match really well with the wood, marble and tile that are found in Sereneco. I’d definitely come back here by myself again to relax and kill some time while enjoying food and beverages. They also have Chartreuse for those of us looking for it.
Sereneco in New York offers a wonderful brunch experience. The serene ambiance sets the perfect mood for a delightful meal. Their pancakes and whipped ricotta were delicious, and the service was attentive. Though slightly pricey, the overall experience makes it worthwhile. Don't miss out on their excellent coffee!
My friends and I had such an incredible dining experience at serenco . From start to finish, everything felt thoughtful and well-prepared. The cheeseboard was the perfect way to kick things off, beautifully arranged, balanced, and full of flavor. The burger was absolutely phenomenal, cooked to perfection and packed with flavor that makes it stand out among Brooklyn’s best. The eggplant fries were a real surprise hit!! crispy, light, and addictive, a dish we’ll definitely be coming back for. And we can’t forget the whipped ricotta!! To end the evening, the sorbet and brownie made the perfect finale, refreshing yet indulgent, the best way to close out summer. Paired with a couple of glasses of wine, the whole meal felt like the perfect night out in Greenpoint. Serenco isn’t just another spot, it’s a place that delivers on flavor, atmosphere, and hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable evening with friends. And thanks to Chris O for amazing service!!!
This place deserves way more recognition. From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere wraps around you like a warm blanket. Sereneco has an inviting vibe that makes you want to stay all night. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish feels thoughtfully made, packed with flavor, and beautifully plated without being over the top. And the staff? Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without hovering.
great service, chill atmosphere. delicious brunch options and free coffee refills.
An absolute 10. In a block of dive bars there's one clear winner for amazing food, people, happy hour, prices, all of it. And open all day!
Overall a solid experience- I would consider it “upscale American”. It’s a bit pricey but I enjoyed trying this place out. Made reservations through Resy for a Wednesday night and sat outside since the weather was good. Service, food, drinks were great quality. The interior design is beautiful and modern. The burger was very substantial, and it comes with mini/fingerling potatoes (didn’t get a picture). They have a small window for people to order coffee from in the morning.
A great lunch/brunch spot in Greenpoint. We came here after a tumultuous experience at Ferox Athletics and were understandably famished. This breakfast burrito with added pork sausage seriously hit the spot. The eggs were cooked beautifully and had a super fluffy texture, the sauce was tangy and vibrant, and the vibes were amazing. Definitely come check this place out if you're ever in Greenpoint.
Sereneco is my go-to spot!! The food is reliably good every time and the staff are some of my favorite faces to see. I need to have the pancakes and/or breakfast burrito at least once a week and the ricotta toast on the dinner menu is amaaaazing. Overall the vibe is always right here. It’s an elevated spot while still maintaining a totally welcoming energy. A great spot to host out of town guests and also a last minute working lunch at the bar. Can’t say enough good things about Sereneco.
awesome food in a stylish renovated building. love the old brick walls in combination with new materials. the food is perfect soulfood to start your day right. especially the whipped Mascarpone with focaccia is just delicious. also the short rib panini comes with an arugula salad with tumeric vinaigrette. gives just the exact kick with acidity and sweetness you need to get an extraordinary flavor. definitely we will come again
I’ve been coming to Sereneco regularly for years now. Years. It’s that good. The brunch here is fantastic! During the weekdays, it’s a great laidback sunny place to get coffee & breakfast while getting some work done. Saturday and Sunday brunch gets pretty lively so make sure to book a res if you want a table for your party. Order the shakshouka or the breakfast burrito. Highly recommend trying the pancakes at least once! Dinner is awesome too. Great place for a romantic date or girls night out. Best happy hour menu in the neighborhood for value. Whipped ricotta is a must and their spicy marg is to die for. Service has always been very attentive and kind when I’ve dined in. Also… it’s such an impressively beautiful space. Seems like it would be a great venue for events.
Great service and atmosphere! Grabbed dinner with a friend and also caught their happy hour. The hibiscus margarita was refreshing and worth having two of. The grass fed beef burger with fingerling potatoes was delicious, tried one of their beers on tap as well. Really enjoyed our meal here 🍴
Get the short ribs and go for date night alongside a hip, vibrant Greenpoint crowd. The corner location is in a former pencil factory with high ceilings punctuated with giant Noguchi pendant lamps. It’s fun. The menu is a little unfocused but the dishes are all really well executed. Service is warm and welcoming and it would be almost impossible to not have a great time here.
Went here last night with some friends and had the best gnocchi I’ve ever had in my life. Incredibly fresh flavors from the butternut squash puree it came with and tried the hanger steak and that was also 10/10. Planning to keep coming back until we’ve had everything on the menu!
Went to Sereneco for a solo dinner and had a fantastic experience. It was quite busy when I arrived around 5:30pm, but the service was quick and attentive throughout. I started with the charcuterie platter and a pornstar martini—both were excellent, especially the cocktail. For my entrée, I had the steak, which was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, great food—I’ll definitely be back!
Randomly walked in to do some work on my laptop. Got a hibiscus tea and the arugula salad. The tea was delicious and the salad was fresh and the dressing was incredible. Highly recommend for a mid day snack. Will have to go back for lunch the burgers look amazing.
This review is about sustainability! I was so grateful to find a spot in the neighborhood where I could come to read, write, and enjoy a coffee without making any plastic trash. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, so it means a lot to me to support local businesses that are walking the talk when it comes to protecting both Brooklyn‘s waterfront and our global waterfront. I love the real mug, plate, and glass of water! And of course, the delicious cappuccino. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated, your efforts to provide a comforting, welcoming space. So thank you!
From beginning to end it was delicious. Quality vs quantity....DELICIOUS! We shared all 3... Mushroom toast (roasted oyster & beech mushrooms, taleggio cheese, spinach) to start...Then we had the Pork belly (with grilled radicchio & smoked apples, honey).. We ended it wit the Affogatoh(vanilla gelato, double espresso) for dessert.. IM AWAKE NOW.. lol.... A big THANK YOU to Dillon our server for his service and suggestions..💪
Chose to have my father’s birthday here as a party of 4 and it was the best choice we made to try something new in the area! The appetizers of whipped ricotta and grilled shrimp were great to start off with and their bread was surprisingly very good. For the main we tried the burgers, cod, and risotto and all of them were very delicious options. From the three the burger was the best in terms of flavor, portion, and price. The dark chocolate brownie was a great way to finish this meal and the staff helped make this moment special for a family birthday gathering. I highly recommend and will be coming back here soon!
We had Thanksgiving dinner here, and many of the options on our pre-set menu are also on the regular dinner menu. The Pork Belly was a generous portion and the best we've tasted. We greatly enjoyed the Butternut Squash Soup and its seasoning. I would also recommend the Risotto, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Roasted Baby Carrots. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance of Sereneco provided a welcoming and relaxing dining experience.
Such a great vibe from start to finish. We sat at the bar and indulged in an incredible spread—martinis, wine, fresh oysters, a perfectly cooked burger, and a decadent dessert. Every bite and sip was delicious. The bar staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between upbeat and relaxed, creating an energy that made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We left already talking about when we’d come back.
We visited Sereneco in Williamsburg and the food was truly delicious — we had the roast chicken breast, burger, whipped ricotta, oysters, and crispy eggplant, and every dish hit the mark. The burger, especially, was outstanding. That said, the service was underwhelming. I'd give it a 3–4 at best. The staff didn’t seem very welcoming or engaged — it felt like no one really wanted to be there. When you're spending over $100 for a meal, you naturally expect the atmosphere and service to reflect that level. Gorgeous place, amazing food, but the hospitality could use a serious lift.
Have been wanting to go here for a reeeeeally long time. Went on a low key Thursday night, not too busy at all. Service was quick and efficient and everything was well portioned and yummy. The tagliatelle was okay, but the star of the show was the Brussels sprouts and the Spring Risotto. Porn Star Martini was delicious. Okay second star of the show was the rosemary focaccia and whipped ricotta for appetizer. Would definitely come back for dinner/drinks and it has such a nice interior.
The vibes are immaculate here. Every aspect of a restaurant executes to perfection. The aesthetics are out of control beautiful. Service is top notch from the hostess to the bus boy. And the food is phenomenal. We had the butternut squash soup, mortadella croissant, shakshouka, and the pancakes with strawberry compote. The drinks were stellar as well. We can’t wait to go back to try even more at Sereneco.
We visited for a weekday early dinner to check their Restaurant Week menu. We ordered Caesar salad, Roman artichokes, chicken saltimbocca, mushroom risotto, Basque cheesecake, pistachio gelato and drinks. The food wasn’t mind blowing, but it was fresh, tasted well and we finished it all. We especially enjoyed the main course - risotto and chicken were great! Roman artichokes were not what we expected and prepared from canned artichokes, I wasn’t a fan of the cheesecake either. Gelato was delicious however! The service was attentive, fast and very friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing, cozy and great for a casual dinner date. 4 stars as it’s a bit on a pricey side and I would expect the food to be just a bit more exquisite or creative - but it’s definitely a decent place.
I came to Sereneco for brunch with some friends on a Sunday. It was easy to secure a reservation which was great! It’s nice and airy inside and beautiful. Service was great— quick and easy. We had the breakfast plate, which weirdly doesn’t allow you to switch to eggs Sunnyside up, they HAVE to be scrambled. We also had the Sereneco burger which, despite some of its bad reviews, was pretty solid! The salmon plate was good but the portion of salmon was pretty small. The pancakes were excellent. The cocktails were fine and basic — not memorable but good. Overall, it was a nice brunch and I’d go back as an old-reliable but not exciting.
Wait staff are super nice. Food is mostly really delish. Nice both indoors and outside along the street in relatively quiet Greenpoint. We have been twice for brunch. Breakfast burrito is great and really filling. Short rib sandwich is a bit greasy but tasty. Kale and white bean salad also nice if you like smoked fish. Thick cut bacon is especially nice. Smoked salmon was a make your own plate with toast, just so so. We appreciated the simple syrup for our cold brew. We’ll be back.
Great service. I only had one dish during happy hour - the salmon crostini and it was delicious! The crostini bread was chewier than I expected which I loved. Had the apple on the side because I don’t usually enjoy sweet with savory but I ended up eating them together because it worked! Unexpectedly! Great flavors. Really enjoyed. Ambience was excellent, sat outside and soaked in the afternoon sun. The inside also looked really peaceful and open and clean.
We went to the Nike x LV exhibition in Greenpoint and was appealed by the artsy exterior of Sereneco, so we decided to give it a try. The indoor seating is narrow-spaced so we highly recommend to dine out if the weather is allowed. The brunch options were limited and we got their Breakfast Burrito with Sausage & Buttermilk Pancake with Raspberry Sauce. The portion was huge, especially the pancake and we even couldn’t finish all. Their food was overall decent but not special & memorable. We love their thick & satisfying pancake and it’s soft & puffy.
solid food in a beautiful space… it’s not the best breakfast burrito ever, but it was tasty. it was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy brunch on the street in greenpoint. i think the vibes are very on point of the restaurant, but the food is on the more basic side. the short rib sandwich was very good, and a good savory option… I thought the lemon pancakes were not worth the price point. I think the service was a bit slow, and we found ourselves having to help ourselves more often than not.
Tried this place for the first time. The atmosphere is relaxed. The space is modern and sleek with high ceilings. The service is good. I had the Sereneco Derby which was good. The Whipped Ricotta with Focaccia, made in house, was tasty. The prices are what you would expect in this type of place and in this neighborhood. I would return to try some other dishes.
Had the fingerling potatoes and breakfast burrito. Burrito had a lot of flavor but but a little sloppy near the end. It’s tough getting that moisture out when doing breakfast burritos but those that do, it’s much better and not as messy. The rosemary fingerling potatoes were absolutely amazing. Would get those every time I come here. For a drink I had a Le mone spritz. I think it’s ok. Not as citrus forward as I would have hoped so might as well go with a normal spritz while here.
I made a reservation at the last minute before I go to the restaurant on Saturday. Amazingly, the host got me a table for two outside with my dog, so lovely to dine in with my furry friend. We got some snack with Shishito Peppers and Crispy Chickpeas. Follow up with Seared Sea Scallops and Grass Fed Boof Burger and got easy tipsy with Aperol Spritz. Food taste good, also good amount of it. Our servers were just ok, cooking time a bit slow. Vibe of the place is casual and easy. It is a crowded area but so much of life and joy.
Great brunch spot in Williamsburg with quite the scene. The menu is limited but there are still plenty of options to choose from. The Shakshouska was perfectly balanced and served with huge pieces of warm toast. My friend was happy with her salad but wished she ordered the burger once we saw it. When the burger and potatoes came out for the table next to us I think we both drooled a bit. It was quite the show stopper. Definitely need reservations and should specify inside or out.
I went today at 1pm There were only 2 tables I barley finished my last bite of food and he took my plate away. My sister and I finished our food, and we wanted to ask for the menu so we can order cocktails (because we wanted to eat food before we drank) And he brought us the check without asking if we wanted something else. Super rude. Like we were being rushed out. And there were only 2 tables. I don’t understand.
UHG! I don't like giving a less than wonderful review. If you look at my reviews, you'll see they are mostly very positive. LOVED: Nice atmosphere. Simple and clean. Spotless. It's just got a warm but simple feel to it. Rebecca (I think I've got it right), the hosts was awesome - bubbly, friendly, accommodating, and fully present. LIKED: The menu looked yummy. My two companions really liked their food. They had a wrap and a sandwich. My sugar snap peas were super fresh and yummy! MEH: The black lentils in my dish were super plain. My dish normality comes with hummus, which I didn't have. I'm sure that would have helped zhuzh it up. Also, it was great that they gave us the wrong menu, took a long time to take our order, and then when we asked them to take the order it turned out we had the wrong menu and so had to figure out something new. Super minor detail... normally, I wouldn't even mention it. But when you have food restrictions like I do, it's necessary to read the menu before choosing your restaurant so that you know they will have food you can eat without being a pest and adding for changes. NO THANK YOU!: My chicken was almost inedible. It was tough, dry, and so, so salty. And I love salt. I put extra salt on everything! So, for me to say it was too salty is saying something. Really... it was pretty bad. The whole dish could have really benefitted from some olive oil. I must emphasize-I had them omit an ingredient - so my dish was not served as normal. But that doesn't explain the chicken. It can be really tough eating out when you have food restrictions due to health. I love food. I don't want to miss out. I know it's a pain when I ask for changes. And I really really appreciate those restaurants who take the extra care with customers like me.
Rarely rate places, but not sure how this place has such high ratings. Guy who greeted us just made us feel unwelcome. Place was 75% empty for brunch, asked for table for 2, seemed like he made no effort to find us a table, told us no tables available and to sit at the bar, then handed me two menus and we went and found seats. I get it maybe there are a bunch of reservations about to come in, but just the vibe he gave off was so unhelpful and off putting. Bartender was nice though. Food was fine, and just kind of flat/soulless. This place seems like they try to put effort into looking cool/hip (though tbh I also feel the aesthetic is kind of bland and generic) but with no real substance behind it. Also the wall of tables was still largely empty when we left so not sure what the no tables available thing was all about.
I have to say, every time I ride through this place I feel like it’s one of the cutest restaurants in Brooklyn. So I made a quick stop to try its coffee and pastries before coming for brunch or dinner. The coffee - was terrible. Not even solid or decent, a Nespresso machine does better. The crofin was chewy and tasted like a honey croissant from a supermarket. I might give it another chance for dinner, but I wouldn’t recommend it for coffee or pastries run.
Delicious meal and beautiful space…very disappointing service. I was told to find a seat anywhere then ignored for quite some time as many servers walked by until I stared someone down with pleading eyes. That sadly only resulted in the same man who walked by multiple times on his phone dropping a menu off on my table without even a glance at me, “we’ll be right with you”, “anything to drink?”…nothing. My meal was brought out to a table who had literally just sat down so I had to flag them over then it was just plopped on my table without a word. Truly bizarre - everyone working here looks like they hate their job. There are many other lovely spots in Greenpoint where I can spend $50 on a lunch bowl and side of fries that probably won’t treat me like I’m invisible. Can’t win them all!
When we first arrived at this restaurant, it wasn’t full yet. We waited for 20 minutes and no one came to take our order. We tried to get a server’s attention, but no one was around. When someone finally came, their attitude wasn’t great. During the meal, they only checked on us once, and we also had to wait a long time to pay. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and surprisingly, the food was quite good.
Sereneco is a safe brunch option in an ever crowded Williamsburg. The brunch menu will have no surprises and that's ok. You will find all the staples you would expect and each dish will be well prepared. Each time I have been to Serenco it has been with friends for brunch and it has been ideal for that.
I visited this location about three days ago with my two children and decided to return for Saturday brunch with my family. Upon arrival, I was told that since I didn’t have a reservation, the only seating available was outside. I said “no problem” and stepped outside, expecting the host to guide us to a table. However, no one followed. I walked back inside to ask the male host for assistance, but he was already helping someone who came in after me. He asked me to wait a moment, which I agreed to. As I waited, he walked outside, and when I followed, he let the door shut in my face rather than holding it open. This felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I was genuinely looking forward to enjoying a meal here with my family, but the initial experience of being received and welcomed is just as important as the food itself. Because of the lack of courtesy and attentiveness, we chose to leave. Sadly, this is the only reason I feel compelled to give this place a low rating.
We came here for brunch. We had wanted to come given the good reviews but we were disappointed. I ordered the burger which was drenched in sauce and I couldn’t take more than a bite or two. The ricotta was good but not great. Service was not good. They gave us only one napkin (we were two people) then the serve disappeared so we were never able to flag him down to ask for another one. It was also difficult to flag him to get the check or if we had wanted another drink. Overall it was not a good experience.
Was very excited to try Sereneco. Venue is spectacular but the food was as bad as it gets. Ordered Arancini which was not cooked well and was cold in the centre. Must have been frozen. The steak was drenched in too much sauce and over-cooked. Burger was served in really uninspiring bread and had no character. The Caesar Salad was so basic not worth paying for. Overall very disappointing!
Won’t comment on the quality of the food but the attitude of your maître d’ is questionable at best. Came in at 9:30 on a Friday hungry for oysters, mind you, two big dudes after a few drinks so a couple dozen is guaranteed. The maître d’ said, and I quote “for dinner we have table but not for oysters,” I asked what’s the difference and he had the audacity to tell me “if you are a restaurant would you serve for only oysters?” Word for word Funny guy I’m sure
