Took the deep dish pizza making class for Valentine's this year with my partner - it was an awesome experience. Heath was an excellent teacher and his passion for pizza was contagious. We learned about the history of the brand and how the ingredients are prepared, and then got to enjoy a delicious pizza and a dessert. 10/10 experience and gained a new respect for UNO pizza!
Wanted to grab a quick drink and snack after my shift with a friend so we sat at the bar. The bartender tonight was really sweet and gave us great service even though it was toward the end of the night.
We were greeted well and sat down. While we were choosing a meal, we were greeted by Isabella. She was very kind and helpful. She made the experience a lot of fun from beginning to end. She checked in periodically to make sure that we were fine. The food was great. I had a cheese and tomato deep dish Chicago and my brother had the Chicago classic. AMAZING! Thank you to everyone but a big shout out goes to Isabella for making our experience wonderful.
The Stars go to their team. Mirsada, Liz, and Albert hold this place down. Also, Ernesto, Eric, and Moses are the best ever. The food here is underrated, and you don’t know what you’re missing if you skip this place. Uno is best kept secret. Glad it’s no longer ran by an incompetent franchise anymore.

My family and I continue to visit Uno's Pizzeria because we love the food and staff.It was my birthday 2 weeks ago and it was a unanimous decision to celebrate it here.We had a great time and great memories.
I only leave reviews for truly great experiences, and Madeline Robitaile gave us just that. As our waitress, she nailed the service and made excellent food suggestions. Her timing and professionalism were outstanding, and we felt very well looked after. The food was so good that I told her we'll be back for dinner next week and for happy hour. Thank you, Madeline - we hope to see you next week. My mother was also very pleased with your service.
Went there with friends on a Monday night. Surprisingly the place was empty around 10 pm. We were seated quick and the waiter was nice enough to change us to a bigger table since we were a group of 5. Let me tell you, the food took a while to come even when we were basically the only ones there. However, every single dish was amazingly well cooked. I got the ribeye with mushrooms and 2 sides. The meat was so good and the quality of all the ingredients were fresh and well done, very tasty. My boyfriend got the chicken spinach and it was really good. My other friend got the pizza and it was so good.(next time I’m ordering pizza). The server was really nice and helpful. We will come back for sure. This is my new favorite spot around Steinway.
This place was an awesome experience from start to finish. The moment I came into the place I was already greeted by the manager, I chose a seating area and waited not too long for the waitress show up. Took me awhile to figure what I wanted but I chose a lunch deal special of a Cheeseburger and fries along with a personal deep dish pizza on the side and lemonade. The place is very roomy and has the aesthetic of a 3 to 4 star Pizzeria but this place has oh so much to offer. My food was brought to me and the waiter was very courteous. Time to eat, I though I'd be able to polish this food off, man was I wrong. The burger and fries itself was very filling enough. The fries were tender with the right amount of salt and pepper, the burger, medium well was done with excellence and it got me good. Perhaps I was a little overconfident in eating all the food I got. I usually have no issue consuming a large lunch after a workout but my meal humbled me. I couldn't even finish off my pizza so I took it home with me and it was still just as delicious as it was when it was brought fresh from the oven. Full stomach aside, the service, the vibe and the food was marvelous. Paid along with 7 extra dollars as a tip to the waitress for a job well done. This is one of those places you gotta experience at least once in your life.
It has been a while since we’ve been to Unos , since we moved out of state. Back in town and family and I had to visit one of our all time favorites and definitely did not disappoint! Superb, courteous and friendly service from our waiter Joseph. He went above and beyond to accommodate us! Food still tasty , good portions and satisfying! We took our D75 students from John F. Kennedy Jr. School (Maspeth site) to Uno’s Pizzeria in Astoria, and I just have to say—Albert and Alan were amazing from start to finish. They were so attentive to our kids and made the whole experience fun and smooth. The hands-on pizza-making was a hit! The kids loved being able to make their own pizzas, and Albert gave clear, step-by-step instructions that were easy to follow. He was playful and made the kids feel comfortable and confident the whole time. After the pizzas went into the oven, Albert gave us a full kitchen tour. He was super descriptive and clearly knew what he was talking about. He broke everything down in a way that made sense for the kids—explaining what things are used for and how everything works in the kitchen. It really brought the classroom lessons on kitchen safety to life. The kids were so into it, and honestly, so were we! I 100% recommend coming here with your class, your family, or your friends. Albert and Alan’s energy, patience, and work ethic were top-tier. We’ll definitely be back!
Chicago-style "deeo-dish" pizza... a different experience from NY thin sluce pizza. We had their "Uno" pie and the toppings were generous and tasty. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. It was a hearty meal and I would recommend.
This was my second time here and I enjoyed it so much. Everything from the food, service, and atmosphere was so nice. We enjoyed all of the dishes we got. The drinks were so bomb too! We came during happy hour but we were still eating when happy hour ended, but they were eager to let us keep happy hour prices. So grateful for that! Our server Albert and the manager who greeted and sat us were such sweethearts. They made our night with their impeccable service.
Great place with lots of options and truly has something for everyone. They have lots of pizza options for everyone from picky eaters to vegans and you can even create your own pizza too. They also have other options that isn’t pizza and sides too. They have lots of deals so I recommend looking at the menu on the website before paying and if you don’t get the deal on your bill the waiter will happily give it to you if you ask.

My third visit here. Excellent customer service brought down by unclean non-maintaned bathrooms. 12/2024 After a couple of busy shopping sprees, we end up back at UNO twice so far this December. 5 stars for the cool courteous bar tender who took care of us both times. 5 stars for the veggie extravaganza pizza!!

I love pesto anything. It was pretty good. I like black olives too. I'm not a drinker but drinks were good and I'm lightweight so I was loopy after a few sips. Atmosphere= Hip. Lots of TVs, music playing. Makes me feel like im in Chicago. Drinks: Mine: Peach Mule - Delicious. Sugary. Bae: Sweet and Spicey ( like bae) margarita. Waiting for appetizer and make your own pasta entrees. They came together. Would have prefered the app came before the entree. I thought that was default. Do I have to ask now. A little overwhelming to eat both at the same time. Excelent food. The Buffalo chicken quesidilla was cheesey! Not a typical flour tortilla, but thicker, more like a smashed pita. I shared my rigatoni spinach mushroom roasted red pepper and grilled chicken. Pesto black olives tomatoes and meatballs. One of baes 2 meatballs was 25 percent overcooked and hard to chew and cut with a fork. Creamy pesto is very salty i can feel it on my tongue. Although that didnt stop me from finishing it! Portion size was filling with enough to take home. Service was very excellent! ... Criticism The table was sticky. Similarly how mentioned in another recent post. Plus for not rushing us. Yo mens bathroom is disgusting. Floor dirty and sticky by the urinal. Smells like a public bathroom. 3rd. The meal was a little pricey. Came out to just over 100 dollars with tax and tip. Wasnt expecting a budget meal but this is large franchise food that should be on the less expensive end for the overall quality of the experience. And clean your bathrooms and tables!

It was okay, it cost me $48.85 for a 12 inch deep dish pizza! It was kinda soggy and soft. I was so disappointed for the price and quality of the food.

My food was great. My server Mia was nothing less than amazing from The knowledge of the menu helping me strategize the best options based on what I like and the impeccable service she provided will always be remembered. Unfortunately I will never come back because the manager (the heavyset Caucasian man with the Italian accent) gave me weird vibes. He was excessively checking to see what we were drinking every 7 minutes offered my table to accommodate us with to go boxes and never came back with them. It was giving the same vibes when an employee is following you around a store in fear that you will steal something. Just overly weird. I see why this chain is rapidly declining.
Ugh many many years ago Uno was one of my favorite place for pizza and wings. Things changed. Coke was the best. It was our last visit.
1 star for showing a $16 price for gluten free cheese pizza then charging $18 on the cash bill for dine-in.
Now I did like UNO in the past, but lately it's not the same. I would like the service I pay for. If I tip and pay for service it is not for the fact that I like the expense. It is because I expect the services I pay for. If I pay for a few pies, then I want those pies to have all I pay for. I want a pizza pie that has sauce, cheese, toppings and everything. My pie tasted like rotten cheese. And even though I bought this up with the manager, the manager did nothing about it. Said it's how a pizza tastes. That is not how a pizza tastes. Confusing your guest that is paying for a service is not how a business should be running. It could have been cause for concerns if something is said to taste bad. The poor staff also were so busy and management did nothing to help them. Lots of tables around us also told us they were waiting for a long time before they got their food. Some even got their food cold. Why is staff not helped by management as well in delivering food to tables or picking up checks? Why is there management here if they will not help? Not the staff or the customers? The servers unfortunately did feel bad but could not exchange my pizza for me, probably because of management. Please get better management. My wife, kids and grandkids will not be returning here anymore. I have to add, the restaurant was also very dirty. Very, very dirty. -Review by Jack and Marissa
To the PATRONS of this establishment PIZZA UNO ASTORIA be careful with the people working at the register they love to TIP themselves without telling you and the worse part is it doesn't show on the receipt it happened to me I wondered how many times they've done it to me or done it to other costumers if you pay with a credit card make sure you check your credit card account you'll be surprised these people are too much ....TIP THEMSELVES....why should I TIP someone bringing me the pizza from the kitchen to the register....that's outrageous....so remember the people working at the register like to TIP THEMSELVES.....
The other day I went to get a couple pizzas and I asked if they had any special like buy one get the other for like $20 it was fine they charge me like $52 for two deep dish everything was fine until I checked my credit card account and I saw they charged me regular price for both pies ..thats not right the problem is how many times they have done it to me and to how many costumers ... these people like to rip people off ...THATS WHY I TELL TO ALL THE UNOS COSTUMERS OF YOU BUY FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT AND YOU PAY WITH CREDIT CARDS CHECK YOUR ACOUNTS OR TOU END UP OVER PAYING .....
Yuck ! From the service ( the big man at the front ) to the food... I ordered sweet chili wings and sweet potato fries. The fries came out so limp and soggy the wings were white looking like ghost! The espresso martini my friend ordered was disgusting. Ordered the crab & shrimp dip it came with the hardest bread crackers in the world! The ice tea was gross ( how do you mess that up ) Chicken tenders were nasty the best part of the meal was the fries ( the regular ones) they were crispy and fresh and it's sad that that was the best part of our meal The host the big man (who kept shouting the whole time) came over and asked us how the meal was we told him everything that I wrote above and he said Ohok and walked away 😂😂 and we were under the influence if food is nasty while your under the influence then you know it's nasty !!
