This place looked a little underwhelming on the outside at first, but don't let that fool you! I got a Texas chili cheese dog, and it was great - the hot dog was like a sausage, and it was delicious. The fries stayed hot and didn't get limp on the ride home. As of when I went last week (during the last week of March 2021), they didn't have a dine-in option; it was all through the drive-thru. Even around 7:30 pm, there was a decent line going through the parking lot, but it moved quickly.

Great place for a simple, quick and inexpensive meal. I have been coming here for years, the taste and service is always consistently good. It's good comfort food, hot dogs, burgers, wings, and french fries. The crushed ice, as small of a thing as that sounds like, is just a plus - at least for me. I have never seen the reason to go to the larger chain down the road/across the street.

Good food friendly staff. Seemed a little understaffed though. Maybe they sent too many home because of labor. Idk but I'm a patient person though. Atleast my food was fresh. Fries need more salt though.

OMG I always wondered about this place and it caught my eye so finally one day I stopped through the drive through and OH MY GOSH the man was very friendly! I felt like I was in a TV show, the corn dogs were crispy and good, I also tried the cheese chili burger and wrap and MAN was it good for only $.99. Such a good place for a quick smackin' snack.

The people are always friendly. The plants in the seating area though slightly overgrown, are a sure sign that someone cares about this place. The chili cheese sauce could make an old rubber shoe taste good, and I happily over eat every time I go. Chili burger or chili dog impossible to tell which ones better.

I come here a lot. I order at least 6 Chilly cheese dogs. 2 10 piece wings and a large lemonade.

Went to get wings the other night. Wait time was around 15 minutes or so but that's because all of their wings are made for order so they're always fresh!! And they're usually opened superr late as well so it's always a good place to order food late at night.

I am really upset that there is not one of these places in Houston. I have tried to recreate or settle for other chili cheese dogs everywhere else, but I have to come back to Bryan to get a good one. They are obnoxiously good. Definitely not good for me, but I make sure to stop here every single time I'm in town.

There is always so much hype about chick fa la customer service, but have you been to hot dogs etc? They are always kind, always happy and always smiling. Prices are affordable and this place is very convenient when feeding the whole family. The food is always good and our orders always come out right. Their customer service is always very warm and inviting. We really do appreciate our local small businesses especially when they treat their customers with so much appreciation and respect. They have the best tasting slushy juice, in town but wait its made with crushed ice so you have too eat it with a spoon. The hot wings are batter free.

Excellent customer service!! The staff was very nice and super attentive!! The bathrooms were very clean and so was the lobby! Our burgers were very juicy and they have great ice !! You could also taste the seasoning on the burger and all the veggies were fresh!

If you want serious value on food, you probably should not be eating 🙂, go see these guys. They cooked me the best tater tots with cheese for practically nothing. They won't be counting to make sure they get it right down to the very last tater tot. They will just fill a big box for you and hand it to you. You'll probably even get a smile. This is now my new place for my occasional 'cheat' day. As I was there they were preparing to install new fryers. So it looks like even faster and more efficient service is coming your way. I hope this local business thrives!

I’ve been coming here for 30 years…. Nuff said. Great date night spot downtown for the low-low. Great staff. Bathrooms could use a touch of hospitality and cleanliness. Love the soap dispensers and also didn’t have to touch the zinc and the paper towels for electronic as well and also has a sign that says please open door with a paper towel. But I give it a 8 just because of the bathroom cleanliness other than that, I would’ve gave her a 10 out of a 10.

I'm a northerner and it's pretty hard to find anything relating to Coney's and/or referred to down south as chili dogs... For Texas it's so far the best I've had. Definitely nothing like home up north but I was happy with it. The inside could definitely use some updating but overall... Food was enjoyable considering I had to drive almost 2 hours there.

This place is awesome for what it is, if you're expecting gourmet hot dogs and wings go somewhere else. If you want good, fast, local food; Hot Dogs etc. is it. The hot dogs are good, I mean it's hard to screw up a hot dog anyway, but actually the chili on the chili dogs, and chili cheese fries is amazing, it's like real hotdog chili you get up north!! The wings aren't bad they are fried, and sauce is served on the side, I liked it, but wasn't expecting them to win any contests so I was happy with them. All-in-all this is where I eat when I want a hot dog in Bryan, better than Sonic, and worlds better than Wienerschitzel!!

Late night shouldn't have matted, we should have gotten food that was in better quality. And my Strawberry lemonade didn't hardly have any ice in it after asking for extra ice.

The food was good.The inside of is not what it use to be. It needs some cleaning up the ceiling looks like it could use some paint and fixing up. The tree next to the window is shedding its leaves and no one seems to know how to clean the leaves up. The men who works behind the countier needs to cover their beards up. When fixing food.

The menu is pretty decent although the quality of the food isn't the best. the place looks a little old and run-down but the staff are really nice and keep the place clean. The food was good although some things could be a little better. The buffalo chicken bites are nothing more than chicken nuggets covered in Buffalo sauce so that was a little disappointing. If they could have a better location and upgrade a couple of their food items this place could be really good. I gave them four stars though because I really liked the friendliness and good service as well as the work of the employees that I observed while there.

Got the 10 pc combo with a dr pepper and was actually very happy with my meal, the fries cooked nicely and salted and the wings crispy and seasoned well also. i wish the buffalo sauce was spicier though

The burger was amazing, very juicy and tasted great! The kids burger on the other hand was overcooked and tough. The lemonade tasted fresh and the service was good. I would recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

The Employee's are very friendly and I love it that when you walk into this establishment, you are seen and greeted with a smile, always! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The inside is always clean and their restrooms are always kept nice and clean. As for the their Chili Cheese Dogs, they are the best in town and love there prices!!!

It takes a little longer than most drive thru places but at least for me it's koo cuz I know my food is going to be fresh. But for the impatient people out there, you can call your order in beforehand so it'll be ready when you get there.

I ordered the Big Foot combo which was an oversized foot long hotdog with fries and drink. My wife ordered the hotdog and 5 wings combo. The food came out hot and fresh but we waited in the diner for 25 minutes for our order. They are very slow cooking and preparing the food. The restaurant is also in an area of Bryan that is run down and we were approached by homeless people in the parking lot. The drive thru was busy and that may be why our food took so long to make. Their soda fountain machine in the dining room had a very low co2 mixture and the drinks were very flat. They had no fizz.

I feel that I’ve had these hot dogs my whole life even though this was my first time to visit. They’re so much like my mom made growing up. The chili tasted like Hormel’s and the cheese was very much like a Kraft American slice. Pretty good, even if not anywhere near being gourmet. I’ll definitely come back and try some other hot dogs at some point.

I wish I could rate this higher as it has never failed me till today. Hot Dogs Etc. is a childhood classic and favorite of mine here in Bryan. Today was not a great encounter. Employee was less than enthusiastic to say the least about his job which is very uncommon here and spilt my food in the container which I didn’t not find till I got home. This does not give an accurate representation of the service that is normal and has been received for the past 20+ years that I have been coming here. I will always be back but today was an unfortunate event. I rate the four stars because the history of Hot Dogs etc is always amazing and today is just a hiccup.

Great customer service at the drive through and a fairly short wait. Good prices and combo options. The fries are comparable to McDonald’s. The fries are light, crispy, salty, hot and fresh. Never in my life did I think I’d be ordering wings and a hot dog, but here I am. The chili dog with cheese wasn’t anything special to me. Good, but average. Next time I’d like to try a different one though. The wings were hot, fresh and crispy. They are not battered. Their sauce is pretty standard and comparable to Franks Red Hot, but they do have a handful of other options. Their LEMONADE is SO good and they do have the “good crunchy ice”. Open late and daily food specials.

Eat here a few times a year, its a decent chili dog and fry place at a good price if you are in a hurry.

Most of the staff are inhospitable and dry. I understand they get stressed out dealing with people all day. Customers aren't always pleasant. I think its mostly coming from poor management.

I have always loved Hot Dogs etc... but because of the traffic I pulled into Der Weiner schnitzel when I seen the price I whipped out and decided I'll go to my other Hot Dog Place, HDE...Well my daughter and I went in and I was disappointed the prices there were actually higher than the other place. I know things have gone up but this was just too rediculous we should have went to Cotton Patch! Sorry HDE... but too high for this hometown Girl 😞

Not the cleanest place to sit and eat, tables were dirty and sticky. Which is disheartening since the food is good. Everything was really hot, wings are very crispy and fried to perfection. Sauce is served on side of any order of wings. The hot dogs remind me of another fast food chilli dog place. Fries are skinny and crisp. Honestly everything was good. Just cleanness while you eat could be worked on. 3/4 stars. Good prices, not expensive. Parking is on a hill.

The staff was nice and the dining area was clean. Food is just mid, but you get good value for what you pay.

I will say the all beef Texas hot dog is very good. But everything is way over priced for what you are getting. Nothing was very tasty or inexpensive. We got the texas plain hot dog, the chili dog and the chicken sandwich.

Hot Dogs Etc used to be great but now it seems like they use cheaper ingredients (specifically the hot do wieners). They went back to the good stuff about the time they got that best in Texas award but now they are back to the same cheap stuff... I wish they would at least be consistent so I know not to go back.

I had an order delivered. I ordered wings, Buffalo, and a cheeseburger. The burger was not bad, not great, but not bad. The wings were decent sized but dry. I'd order a burger again, but go somewhere else for wings.

I went through the drive through at this place the guy lied to me about the price of an item and shorted me on my cash because he didn't think I would look at my receipt and see that he charged me for something he said was free. I’ve grown up in BCS and have always lived their food! I must admit, the food is awesome! Although I have had it already with their horrible customer service. Their manager that has been with them for YEARS is very kind and always helpful... but the others are who I’ve had issues with. Today I went in a it was the final straw. One employee “Santos” was BERY disrespectful and rude when he was questioned as to why my food took 25min. He was yelling at me across the dining area from behind the grill. He was being very sarcastic and was even trying to come from around the kitchen to come after me. His boss at the time “Josh” had to keep telling him to stop. He thought it was hilarious and kept on smirking and making our visit very unpleasant. It’s just sad that these type of people are employed but such a great restaurant!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ricardo M, who was both rude and unprofessional. Hot Doc Etc is a place I frequent, and with current prices, I find myself spending nearly $30 every visit. So it is very disheartening to encounter such poor service when you’re spending lots of money at an establishment constantly. When a mistake was made on HIS part, rather than addressing the issue or trying to rectify it, Ricardo doubled down with a nasty attitude. With only two main wing places in town, at this point I’d rather to go to Wings and More. They at least try to fix mistakes rather than being nasty about them.

Let me preface this review, I like hot dogs and wings etc. They offer inexpensive fast food. But my major gripe is that on the Uber Eats Store they represent themselves as a store called Big Hot Dog Energy. Their chili dog alone is over 7 dollars. It looks completely different in the photo (on the left) vs the Hot Dogs and Wings Etc. (In the right hand photo). That chili dogs costs 2.14. The chili dog on the left costs 5 dollars more. You may ask what my issue is. The issue is, you get the exact same dog and chili and cheese as the 2.14 chili dog! But the pictures look nothing alike! This can't be right to do. They should be held accountable for misrepresenting their products, and it is their entire menu on Uber Eats. 7 dollar chili cheese fries, they even have a 10 dollar chili dog. I mean come on.
