We walked in 15 minutes before closing. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out with our order beautifully plated and tasted delicious. They ask if we needed anything else before the kitchen closed. So I ordered a slice of the chocolate tres leches cake. It was scrumptious 😋 I'll be back!
Christian as always, has the best customer service. Very attentive to his customers!! #1 We love Los Cucos!
My first visit and it definitely won't be my last. The portions were excellent. All the food tasted great. If only I had saved room for dessert! I WILL absolutely be back to have some dessert! The service was quick and everything was above my expectations!
I got beef and chicken fajitas, and they were great as usual. Service was fast and friendly too.
The food was excellent and came out in a timely manner. We had a party of 44 people. Our server was a gentleman named Christian. He was very patient and attentive. He never seemed to get annoyed at the many different requests. Francisco, the manager was gracious in accommodating our party and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Excellent experience! I would definitely recommend!
Jonathan T. was an amazing server, he was awesome interacting with my 9 month old and he was just an all around sweet guy. Told was about the new drinks and everything. Food was great too. Will come back
Very diverse menu of authentic Mexican food. Really good for a fair price. Service was excellent.

Bartender Jacky is my favorite! Food and service always very good. Been coming here for over 12 years. Staff always stops and says hello!
Food and service was great last night! Our server Jonathan was great. He recommended the lychee margarita and it was delicious 😋
The manager Jose helped me choose items that would work with my food allergies. He was patient with me while I discussed this with him, which I appreciate so much. Food was delicious.
This place isn’t getting the hype that it’s deserved!!! Homemade tortillla flour and corn!!! Home made chicken fingers for kids!!!!

Paco delivers great service! He know our order. Our Basa fish playa is excellent! Love the margaritas!
Good food, great service. Melanie did a great job!
Our food came out extremely fast and was phenomenal. The service was great and the experience was just great.
Our food was amazing and our server Paco was friendly and attentive to our needs. 10/10 amazing service would/will come again!!!
Have been here plenty of times, but super impressed today with an order of fresh guacamole. It was by far one of best I have ever eaten! And I'll have to say the large draft Coors Light did not disappoint. Will def remember Los Cucos for their large, fresh guac!
Los Cucos is a staple for our family. Good food, drinks, and last night our server Jonathan was attentive and great fun.
i went here for lunch and it was fantastic, our server jon did a great job and the staff was amazing
Dayra was our waitress amazing! And Julio manger was more than welcoming.and Nate our bus boy kept our table clean and friendly and Jose came by our table with manage to greet us all around amazing people. I will be going back.
Jackie is always the BEST! Our food and drinks are ALWAYS on point. I always feel welcome here. Jackie always makes sure that we have fresh chips and salsa. Also, our area at the bar is also very clean. I gave her a 10 out of 10!
Five stars all around. The menu variety is stellar! The food is fresh & delicious! The serving sizes are great . Drinks are delicious too. Los Cucos is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant ever! Valentino is our favorite chef! We just love Los Cucos in Bryan, Texas! Domingo is our very favorite server who goes above and beyond to provide outstanding service every time we visit! The manager, Jose is doing such a great job and is so friendly! It's like having dinner with the family every time we eat at Los Cucos. We always look forward to seeing our friends at Los Cucos in Bryan, Texas!!
Paco was absolutely amazing! He was very detailed in explaining all the options and describing the new menu items such as the new pork belly appetizer and Watermelon Rita. Food was quick and very good! Definitely recommend!!
Our waitress Isabel was excellent! She was very personable and attentive to our table!
We loved our server Emalyn! We came here for a casual birthday dinner and had an amazing experience with her :) she was highly attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back and ask for her <3
This place is soooo good. every time we come here the chips and salsa are immediately brought to us the waiters and waitresses are very attentive. The food is always so good so shoutout to all the cooks in the back. And the place is always very clean. Tonight we saw them cleaning the restaurant from top to bottom - literally we saw them scrubbing the ceilings and walls.
The food was spectacular here!! The service was excellent. Brandon was our waiter and he was the best waiter! He was very attentive and we never had to flag him down to ask for anything bc he was on top of it! We got the Paradilla for 2. The fajita was so tender and flavorful. The rice and beans were delicious. My son got the burrito which was also very good. We got the handmade guacamole and it was phenomenal as well! Definitely recommend and will be back!
We had chicken fajitas for one, small queso & frozen margaritas. Fajitas were very good, chicken was tender & flavorful. Plenty of food to feed two people. Happy hour margaritas so order the large ones! Free entertainment with Mariachi band playing. Melanie was a great server!
Every time we come here come the food, service, and everything is always incredible. Only thing I can remember that was a common negative among everyone there is that their tortillas do not seem to be homemade, and they do not seem to be made in house. I should almost dock them one full star for that, but considering my wife and I had our first date at the location closest to the A&M campus (which is no longer there), I will keep the star rating at 5. 😜.
Food never disappoints! Nothing on the menu is bad. Always great service and atmosphere is awesome to experience!
We had to dine quickly as we were on a short lunch break. Paco took such good care of us and made sure we got our food fast and no mistakes were made! He’s awesome!
This is my go to spot for drinks and the service is always on point !! Especially when Jackie is the bartender. Jackie always does a great job and keeps the bar clean and she runs the service 💯. I totally recommend los cucos in bryan tx.
Great Food and College football was on all the TVs. Service was Great and anything we needed we got with a smile. Definitely come to this location
Isabel did an amazing job. She told us at the end this was her first month which is wild cause you really could not tell. She cared deeply about doing a good job and it really showed
Been to Los Cucos many times. Been to locations in Houston and Seguin and many times to the old location in College Station. This was my first time at this new location. Been at least 8 or 9 years since I have had pleasure of eating at a Los Cucos restaurant. While I deviated from my "usual" plate, I left VERY happy and very full. We forgot how large the servings are. My wife didn't order a plate deciding to eat a little off everyone else, and we STILL took food home. The green sauce that comes with chips wasn't as addictive as I remember, but it was still good. I ordered the El Suegro plate. Sautéed shrimp with tomatoes, onions and poblano peppers over a bed of rice, a beef fajita taco covered with chile con queso, and refried beans. Was a little spicy, but so flavorful. I had forgotten just how delicious their fajitas are. Probably best I have ever had (sorry dad)! My daughter ordered the shrimp quesadilla plate and said they were really good. My wife concurred. Youngest ordered kids cheese enchiladas and left nothing! My son ordered the Fajitas Mariachis- beef fajitas, shrimp, and chicken with all the fixings and sides. Sister in law order a combo plate that had an enchilada, chalupa, and flautas. Can't wait to get back!
Love Los Cucos! Great food, great service. Isabel took great care of us, had a lot of good recommendations, and always made sure we had what we needed at the table.
Food was great, and our server, Isabel was so kind and attentive! Definitely coming to this location more often
We frequent this restaurant often, and it is always top notch for us. The food is served hot and delicious, the wait staff is always very good, we never have a dry cup, or run out of salsa. The greeting staff is pleasent all the time. I love getting the bloody Mary and they are always so good, the mixed drinks are a good choice. We will continue returning here for the Great food and drink and courteous staff!
Absolutely LOVED our waitress!!!! She was so amazing and nice . The food was a little pricey but the service was amazing. I completely forgot her name but I have a vid of her . She should get a raise or something!!!!!!
I always LOVE coming here but tonight was made extra wonderful by Isabel. She had the perfect combo of attentive and respectful! Such a cheerful personality. We will be back!
We chose Los Cucos tonight for dinner in honor of our brother in law, who passed on this day last year. He loved Mexican food and when his wife said she wanted Mexican food to honor him, we knew this was the place. Food was amazing, service was excellent and we knew we chose the right place when she said her husband would have loved it too. She ordered La Bonita, we ordered mixed fajitas, and our son ordered tacos. We topped off our dinner with fried ice cream & bread pudding- both amazing! I’d give 10 stars if I could because making her heart happy was everything we wanted tonight. Shout out to our waiter, Moises, and the two managers on duty tonight. Julio stopped by to check on our table of a couple of times and Francisco held the door open for us on the way out. It’s those little things that make this place one of our favorites.
Our server Christian and the manager Joe were amazing! It was karaoke night and it was so much fun. We came after a school program and the service was fast, friendly and excellent! The food was average but still delicious. The menu was great for healthy options or not. So many options for any course. Margaritas were fantastic and large enough that you were not constantly needing a refill. They also had a big kids menu that covered anything for a picky eater. We will absolutely be making the effort to come back.
My friends and I always have an amazing time on Friday nights for karaoke 🎤. José, the server is so fun and friendly. He’s always in high spirits and gets the customers excited. I highly recommend as the drinks are always good and priced great. Grab your partner or friends and head that way for a night of fun.
Jose made our dinner extra special with his attention to details and joyful personality! The drinks and chips overflowed with refills consistently. Thank you to the young lady that moved so fast around our area with the refills as well. Definitely get more than what is expected in the proportion sizes and flavors. Honestly just a bit too loud where we sat (music blasting in a Friday), but not obnoxiously loud. One of my top three places to eat in Bryan. You will not be disappointed!
Im a regular here, one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Isabel is a terrific server and such a wonderful and adorable young lady, as is entire staff, really, food is ALWAYS off the chain too. Make sure your wives bring their jacket to eat in here tho
Isabel did a great job of providing service and very attentive to our needs. She was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great dinner. Food was delicious and generous portions for the price. Drinks from the bar were great as well. Overall a great experience.
We had a pretty disappointing experience with our waiter, but the hostess, Faith, completely turned it around. She noticed we weren’t being taken care of and stepped in without hesitation—checking on us, making sure we had what we needed, and doing it all with a great attitude. She was friendly, professional, and honestly the reason well come back. Big thanks to her for saving the night!
Needed a moment so went with my sister. Our waiter, Fransisco, was super attentive, very friendly and we didn't have to look for him or shout across the room. I've always gone to this establishment for good food and drinks but the service we received was better than usual!!! I ordered the caldo de res and let me tell you there was no way one person could eat all that!! It was my first time ordering that but I am glad I did!! It was so good but by the time I was full it didn't look like I had even touched it!!!
Oscar at the bar was great very nice and Jose also. Barrias tacos were very good, some of the better ones I have had from many different spots. Margarita was a bit different from Houston location but still very good. Nice open atmosphere decent parking. Easy to get to off the freeway.
We had a great time with Emalyn as our server! She was super sweet, funny, attentive, and patient while we waited for the rest of our table to show up. Food was good and came out in good time! Thank you Emalyn! Give her a raise ☝️🐰‼️
Hands down, Los Cucos in Bryan, TX, serves the best margaritas in town. The bartending team, consisting of Angel, Cesar, Oscar, and Irenia and Jacky demonstrates exceptional skill and attentiveness towards customers. They effectively engage with patrons, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, my only criticism is directed towards Francisco, the manager, who exhibits arrogance and unfriendliness.
I had the stuffed avocado and it was great, ships and dip are average, you definitely get your money's worth, it's a lot of food
The stuffed jalapenos were awesome. They are an appetizer but so big enough for a meal. Would totally recommend!!!
Tuesday nights they have karaoke. It adds to a great dinner experience. The good was decent. The guacamole was NOT my favorite. But it was ok. The quesadillas are pretty good.
We have eaten here many times with friends. The food and the service is good. They have a lot of pricey specialty drinks. The restaurant is very noisy. It is good but not our favorite. It is a little pricey. We keep going back, though. Give it a try. It may become one of your favorites.
Had lunch here and ate at the bar. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Lunch special was good, my husband and I both had fajitas. Chips and salsa were good. Burracho beans were good, rice was flavorful but dry. Tortillas were great.
Excellent food. Alejandro was excellent; professional, courteous, and new the menu.
Service was great, food was great. Fresh flour and corn tortillas were amazing. Salsa is served warm and has a ton of flavor.
Wife and I went here in a Monday to use a gift card we received and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was good, food was well cooked, and the drinks were nice and cold. I had a beef quesadilla and she had a the fish tacos with fresh corn tortillas. All if it was good. People around us seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, lots of margaritas on the tables! The food is a bit on the expensive side so expect to pay about $20 per person (with drinks).
Fun place with great food. I ordered the fajitas and expected a little more. No peppers just onion which is why I gave it 4 stars. Salsa was amazing 👏 and would go back.
Atmosphere is cool, and the servers are great. Food is alright nothing really special but for Bryan/college station it’s good.
In my opinion the food is lacking in seasoning. The service was great, maybe because it was slow when we went there at 12:40 pm on a Saturday. They do need to work on the cleaning service. When I used the restroom, it needed some attention.
The food is great, I can't complain about that. However the service is horrible. This is not a one time thing. Every time I have gone (I go about 4 times a year, only because the location is convenient, and the food is good), it seems that it is our waitress's first day on the job. It takes about 15 minutes before anyone even comes to take our drink order. Then another 15 before the drinks arrive. Once we finally get our order in, I have often times had to wait an additional 45 minutes for it to come to the table. This is the case even on slow days. But again, if you don't mind waiting, the food is pretty decent. I always get the beef fajitas for two with my wife.
Food was ok. Service left room for MUCH improvement. And it was cold outside but we were sat near the door even though there was plenty of space in other areas so every time the door opened it was pretty miserable But by the time I could get our server to come to us she took our order and then darted off. Also, everything I asked for she brought me the exact opposite. Asked for no tomatoes, she brings my food with tomatoes Asked for refried beans instead of charo she brings charo. Asked for sour cream, she brings no sour cream... House margarita had no alcohol so that was pretty disappointing also.
The place, the ambiance is great...so was the staff, very friendly. However, the food was disappointing. Y'all need a new chef! Los Cucos should consider Bringing a Mexican Abuelita to give you some Mexican cooking tips! We started off our evening with the QUESO & CHIPS: FLOUR chips mind you, when we clearly asked for Corn. It came with Velveeta Cheese for dipping, not the flambeau cheese we were expecting... needless to say, we sent it back, as it was disgusting. Then the Fajitas Mariachi arrived: somewhat edible, not Fresh, as the cast iron wasn't even sizzling... two strips of Chicken, 4 of beef and 3 shrimps!!! In one word, the meal was Disappointing. But there it was, this cold, massive, refreshing looking Margarita... One sip later and my stomach felt sick. Won't be coming here again.
We say outside to enjoy the weather. There are no signs posted for a designated smoking area. People in the bar were coming outside, upwind, to smoke, which ruined the experience. Mentioned the issue with MoD. Established dining areas are supposed to be restricted to smoking, unless signs have been posted.
Ive previously gone to this restaurant once or twice a year with little to no issues. Previous experience is prices here are higher compared to other places, food is ok. But the most recent visit, Wife and I came in at 5 pm Saturday. We stood at the entrance to get seated. Place was empty for a Saturday and we saw 8 employees all seated at the booths in the back corner by the bar. Took a minute for them to figure out who was going to seat us, the person who eventually sat us down said they were in the middle of a shift change. We got sat down and was told someone will be with us in a minute. We were given chips and salsa by a kitchen employee from the back. The chips were borderline stale and both salsas were chunky. The red one tasted like pure tomato paste similar to a thick red pasta sauce. Sat for 10 minutes and no one came by to ask for drinks. Place was empty. Only one other couple in the whole place but same 8 employees in the corner booths just chatting it up. We waited another 5 minutes, still not attended to and just decided to walk out. We went to Chuys, down the road, Place was packed, got seated immediately, had chips and drinks quickly right after, then order taken and served in less time than we were at Los Cucos. After this experience won't be back. With the abundance of mexican food in town, other places are exceeding expectations.
This place is usually great, I come here multiple times a month and used to receive great service from the bartenders but recently they stuck Ashley behind the bar and she is just really bad she rushes us as if she is trying to get rid of us even though we are still actively ordering food and beverages. She is not personable like the other bartenders here and she can’t even remember the one beer I’ve been drinking all night. Ultimately the service was much better before they fired one of the best bartenders and then the other one i believe is on maternity leave. This place will definitely be receiving less and less business. To the manager please train your staff and take care of your regulars
I got the steak a la tampiqueña platter. The steak was very bland and the cheese enchiladas that came with the order was very oily and rubbery. The only thing that really had any flavor was the rice and the refried beans. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. And the watermelon margarita was really good. But the food was just not good.
We had a reservation for a very large group 35 people. We had 1 server all by herself and she was in the weeds. We had to refill our own drinks did not get any extra chips or salsa. We waited a very long time for everything. The food was very good.
Food was mediocre. Our waitress, Cassandra was absolutely amazing. She made the experience worth it. We got fajitas...beef was lackluster.....nothing to write home about. Chicken was good but sausage was gross. They had mariachi band and sat us right next to them. We asked to be moved and they did move us a little further away, but it's just not my thing to have a loud band with microphones right by my table.
Service and atmosphere is always wonderful when you come here, but unfortunately, the food Has gone downhill and the prices have skyrocketed. My one house Margarita was 12.95 and added two dollars for strawberry flavoring so $15 for one small house margarita seems a little crazy. We also had Chicken spinach enchiladas but ended up with no chicken and still charged $18 for that plate. Also ordered the variety fajitas plate with shrimp steak and chicken. There was about four thumbnail sized shrimp on the plate. My local favorite place, will not be back sadly..
Every single employee was on their phone. They forgot to cook my order and then the waitress told us a lie. They refused to make coffee. They were not even busy at the time. They made our drink order wrong. Our waitress had a very indifferent attitude and did not care. The couple that recommended this place apologized so many times. To be fair most of the food was very good!!!
This was probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve had. The food was good however the service was terrible. We waited for our waitress Jasmine to greet our table for 10 minutes. The restaurant was empty. When she finally brought us our drinks, my glass had pink lipstick on it and she acted annoyed. Our drinks were empty for another 10 minutes because she was playing on her phone ( her manager talked to her about being on her phone and she just got right back on it). Her manager had to check us out and give us to go boxes because she’s busy playing on her phone.
Today April 6, 2025 is my husband’s birthday so we ordered pick up from Los Cucos in Bryan. My husband picked it up and just got home with it. I spent over $80.00 and got his favorite food plus dessert. We were given the wrong order entirely and it was way cheaper than what we ordered. We are so disappointed and live 35 miles away so it’s too far to go back. Check your order before you walk out with it or you will get duped like we did
Extremely disappointed. We wanted to try the restaurant despite reviews. When we walked in, there was a sewer smell. Surprisingly, we went straight to the bathrooms and they were very clean and smelled great! My wife's food came out and it had a large black curly hair on top of the rice. She ordered a crispy beef taco and we received a soft fajita beef taco. We sent her meal back and she was no longer interested so we didn't have them re-cook it. Our waitress informed us that the kitchen staff was mostly bald so she didn't know where the hair came from. It felt like she was suggesting we placed it there. We asked our waitress if the cheese enchilada has onion and she said "no, not in it." My a la carte cheese enchilada had a huge onion first bite. I also ordered a crispy beef taco. Received a crispy taco with fajita beef inside. So, we asked about it on our check. She then tells us they don't have an a la carte ground beef, so they have to do it fajita. It feels odd in tex-mex to ask for a beef crispy taco and have to pay $7 for a fajita taco. There is a difference. 😖 I ate 2 bites of enchilada and one of the taco and set it to the side. They comped the meal with the hair but she didn't offer any options on my meal. The manager did not come over. We tried to work through it, but couldn't. We would not return.
I WILL NOT BE BACK! Several items ordered were wrong and she blame it on being new. We saw her write it down and when the manager came he said maybe it was the kitchen’s fault, but isn’t still her responsible for making sure she brings it to the table correctly? My fajita meat was grisly and I had to spit it out. This place is too expensive for this. Take responsibility for your mistakes and when you’re apologizing don’t do as your walking away from the table, be sincere.
The service here sucks. They sat us down and we waited 10 min and nobody came over to take our drink order. Mind you the place was empty!! Servers were walking around and not 1 of them look our way. We also told the manager/supervisor but he didnt care.
Restaurant booth smells like mildew and throw up. Food was very mediocre. I ordered shrimp quesadillas, which were literally all cheese. My husband ordered the fajitas a la pablano and all the veggies were very undercooked. His sliced onions were raw and are supposed to be grilled. Our serve, Seth, was great and super attentive. Almost too attentive. He brought us a couple drink refills that weren’t needed yet and they crowded our table. Other than that he was awesome. Got our food very quickly. The smell in this restaurant needs to be fixed asap. It is very unappetizing to eat when all you smell is mildew and barf. Will not be back to this location
Christian did not bring the kids food out until at least 20 minutes after mine and my friend's entrees came out incorrectly. He was not there to deliver the food so we had to ask other staff. He was sitting in a booth talking to his coworkers not checking on us. Then, after the kids meal came, he left and went into the next room, like a bar/party area or something, and was rough housing like a teenager with his pals at recess standing on tables and chairs whipping each other with towels. We watched everything from our seats through the window. It was the most absurd thing I've ever seen a grown man do on the clock at a family restaurant. Also, where was the manager?? Do NOT go to this location!!
We took a friend here for his birthday and had high expectations but we were quickly disappointed. There is an odor when you walk into the restaurant that lingers and is not appetizing. The waitress was nice and the table assistants were prompt and nice also. The food for the most part was disgusting and highly overpriced. We also should not have to share salsa bowls. The cheese dip appetizer was tasty. However that was the only thing good on the table. We ordered a chimichanga, a shrimp meal, I forget the name, and beef enchiladas. The portion size of the sides, refried beans and rice was very small. The chimichangas were smaller than I remember. This place is not worth the money and should do something to make the atmosphere and decor more fitting for the prices they reflect on their menu. I had hopes but was totally let down.
It smelled like sewer when we walked in. Our waitress was ok. She was very thuggish tho. The food was like jerky like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They didn't even try to make it right. I used to love this restaurant but the past few times I've gone its been crap food. Well never again.
I hate to say this but this was the WORST $56 dollars we've ever spent on food. The Birria tacos were completely filled with nothing but fat, I mean chunks....I was grossed out. It was not even good food. I could barely eat 1 taco. The white rice...omg seriously? Terrible. My poor husband, ordered the ground beef enchiladas, ask for just rice instead of beans( he ended up with beans!) The tea was bad bad bad. You could tell it was old & warm. Nasty! We ordered the queso truthfully it was the only good thing on our table. The service was terrible..... The music was so loud you couldn't even hear each other talk. As my husband said "we won't be back!!"
I dont usually leave reviews but this time I have too. We walked in around 8 pm to a not busy restaurant. Immediately we noticed the smell. It smelled like sewer had backed up into the building. A young girl finally noticed us and told us to sit where we pleased. About 20 minutes later after trying to get several people's attention we were finally asked our drink order. They brought our drinks out with hardly any ice and told us they would bring ice shortly. Food was mediocre and tamales had a green tint inside. I get the same thing everytime we go and the tamales have never been green inside. We were given our ticket and she never returned for us to pay. So we went up front to pay and I left cash tip on table. The manager acted out out that he had to run the front register and kept apologizing that we had to wait but never offered to make anything right. We should have just walked out when came in and smelled the awful smell. Then they added a $2.00 charge to my card for tip the next day. I signed the form with not tip added since I always leave a cash tip.
