YES! This is the pizza that Buffalo has been missing. We ordered: a bottle of white wine, "Suoli Cataldi", salad, bread with a side of red sauce, and a large pizza. This wine was described on the beverage menu as a Meyer lemon white wine, we LOVED it, especially accompanied by the pizza. Thin pizza, flour underneath just the same as NYC style pizza. There are two plaques on the wall that read (not verbatim), best NYC style inspired pizza. They won this 2 years in a row. Server was a gentleman, he explained everything well and thoroughly. No option to tip on the bill which helps me to assume their workers are treated properly. Kudos!

Very good pizza and much better than most in Buffalo. The service was professional, polite and fast. It was refreshing to watch the pizza being made fresh and in a proper oven. Real artistry in display here. The pie was $27 USD for a medium with 3 toppings - so above average cost but there is a no tipping culture here - this surprised me. Overall, I highly recommend this spot but only gave 4 stars because it was a bit too loud for my taste inside - mainly due to the layout.

*update. Everything is delicious..get the meatballs/sauce*Really delicious food, excellent service, will definitely go back. We tired a white pizza, meatballs, and cocktails. Also, love eating on their patio. My only critique was I didn't adore our cocktails. I would probably just get wine next time. I would highly recommend.

Popped in for their one year anniversary where they were offering up dollar slices and I got the New York style and it was solid. Definitely looking forward to visiting again to check out some of their cocktails. I really like their business model and that they are a tip-less establishment because of their practices in paying their employees which is cool.

Delicious thin crust pizza. Crust was flexible but crunchy. Red sauce was excellent. Good choices for toppings and recommended pizzas. Inside this place is very cool and all the workers were very friendly!

Was this one of the best meals I've ever had... anywhere in the world? 100%. Would I make the two-hour trip to Buffalo for the sole purpose of eating here again? 100%. Quite simply, sometimes the simplest food, when done right, is also the best. And Extra Extra Pizza does simple food incredibly well. We ate: Pizza #7 Salad (there was only one option - simplicity!) Soft-serve ice cream (a twist of vanilla and lemon with a drizzle of basil sauce on top) Each dish was fresh, flavourful and good enough to want to ask for seconds. The soft-serve (and I consider myself a connoisseur) was BEYOND excellent. And that basil sauce... 😋 But... as good as the food was... here are some other special things to note: - The service is friendly and unpretentious; - The space is SO cool. It's bright and pink, the bar area is gorgeous, and I would live there if I could; - The restaurant is tipless (check out their website for a detailed explanation behind this decision); and - The bathrooms have everything one could want/need: feminine hygiene products, stain wipes, mints, bandaids, lotion, diapers... I was so impressed, I took photos. Both my dining companion and I were in agreement that Extra Extra deserved a review that sang its praises. I'm giving this place 5 stars... but, if I could give an "extra" (necessary pun) star, I would. *** Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Food: 5/5

This place is awesome! We had a Sicilian with pepperoni and hot peppers and a medium with basil and fresh mozzarella. Both were great, but the Sicilian was off the charts great!! Thick, cooked perfectly, lots of fresh sauce with cup char and pickled hot peppers. Definitely one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Service was superb and everyone was super friendly. Prices are normal, place is very clean, bathrooms too. Very good selection of drinks, beer and some other well picked menu items. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!

I attended my second Wine tasting event. Excellent wines and food pairings! Wonderful well researched information shared about the wines, the vintners and recipe creators. Thoroughly enjoyable night. And the white pizza for dinner we ordered pre-event - just wow!! Scrumptious! I highly recommend!

The Luna's

Real laid back place deep in the west side of Buffalo. The employees there greet you when you come in and you can either sit yourself or they'll suggest where you can sit, your preference. There are a couple of choices in the menu I went there for the pizza they also have a bar that serves beer and wine and if you like dessert to finish everything off they have soft serve ice cream as well. The pizza was good with a nice and crispy bottom mild sauce sauce almost like a New York style pizza also when with a side order of garlic cheese bread which was also good. I scored this pizza a 7.1 out of 10 Luna's and the cheese garlic bread I scored at 8.2 out of 10 Luna's.

Very nice little place, love the decor. Fast, helpful, friendly service. The pizza was good, the sauce is not sweet at all, which I love, it had that nice fresh tomato taste, unfortunately there wasn't very much of it at all on the pizza. The crust was good, I had the New York style which was crispy on the bottom but nice and stretchy under the cheese. As far as flavor goes, it had a decent taste...it wasn't the most flavorful pizza. cedos in South Buffalo has very flavorful pizza, lots of herbs, my friend and I both agreed we will stick with that.

Been to this place twice now. The first time there was a hiccup in the communication over the phone so the pizza in the photo is from the second visit. I would say they have some of the best crust and pizza sauce that I have tried in Buffalo so far just a little inconsistent with the bake time. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place for a date night with a great vibe. If you are specifically craving a cheesy pizza I would refer back to your usual but for something new it's absolutely worth trying. Thank you to worker owner Soon Ho for your kindness! My daughter and I tried Extra Extra Pizza based on all of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the pizza came out a bit too chard for our liking (see the picture). The bottom and most of the crust was black and turned my daughter off, so she rated it 2/5. I did enjoy the pie but would have liked more sauce and cheese, so I gave it a 4/5. The tipless service was a nice feature.
