We are very pleased with the quality of food. Fish Fry is one of the best in town if not the best. The new remodel inside looks awesome as well. Also had the opportunity to met the owner very nice and humble Gentleman. We will be visiting this place more often.
Stopped in for dinner. We had broiled fish and an Italian beef sandwich. Both were AMAZING. The fish was light & flaky, mac salad/ cole slaw were homemade, and the Italian beef- so tender. You can tell the cook ,who we later found out was the owner, took their time preparing our meals making sure they were done perfectly. The atmosphere was relaxing, service great & prices are just right. Cant wait to go back & try breakfast. Definately put this place on your list !
Such a great place. The food was amazing and out so quickly. I had the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. The interior is all freshly renovated and super clean. Would 💯% recommend. (Hailey was a great server too)
Worth it. I live in buffalo and this place is worth the 30 minute drive. The beef on week is so juicy and don’t even get me started on red velvet cheesecake. Oh and you better come when the French onion soup is on the specials! Will definitely be coming back.
Our fourth time there and once again did not disappoint. Had the bacon wrapped onion petals {5*}, cuban sandwich and triple layered chocolate cake. Wife had caesar salad with chicken, excellent. Great service, very clean, staff is very friendly. Will be going back!!
Very nice small neighborhood Bar & Grill. Staff and food was very good.
I could eat their tempura green beans all day, it was perfectly crispy on the outside with an el dente green bean! We also enjoyed the Bacon wrapped onion petals. The kids enjoyed grilled cheese with fries. Though the grilled cheese may have been a little fancy for them with the multiple cheeses, they tore up the fries. My sister enjoyed their French onion soup, and said it was the best she has ever had. For our entrees we had Fire cracker shrimp, loaded nachos, and a Cajun chicken salad. Every plate was cleaned! Dishwasher prolly had to ask if there was ever food on them, lol. Definitely check out this spot!
Food is incredible and the staff/service was just as good. 100% would recommend to anyone. Tell Haley a stranger in the internet sent you. You won’t get a discount or anything, but it will make me laugh a little bit.
My sister and I visited this restaurant today for the first time. It has a nautical motif--it's very clean and bright inside with all pleasant staff. They have 2 daily homemade soups and other daily specials listed on the specials board as you enter into the dining room. The boys are large enough to seat 4 and very comfy. We choose to order 2 different items for our lunches which we shared so we could get a taste of 2 items. The mozzarella, bacon wrapped onion petals were very yummy and came with a tasty BBQ dipping sauce. We felt they were a little pricey but we certainly enjoyed them and the year. We also started the beef on week which came in a Costanzo's as we requested. The beef was tasty, most, very tender and there was pulled of it on the plate. The fries were fresh, crisp and came with our choice of dipping sauce which we chose ranch. Our biggest surprise came when the waitress served our sandwich already cut in half on separate plates, fries, au jus and horseradish and they plated it for free!!!! Our server was top notch-- very attentive, pleasant and well aware of doing little extras for their customers. We overheard another table racing about the Irish Stew so that was a special today. All-in-all a very pleasant experience. We'll definitely return.
My wife, daughter and I absolutely love this place. There are so many different ways to explain how great this small diner is. To start, the pretzel is absolutely visually stunning. I've never been served a whole pretzel on a hook, that comes with honey mustard and queso. The first time we went my wife decided to go with a normal cheeseburger medium-rare. The temp of the burger was perfect, and it was served with a brioche bun, (which I personally think are the best). I had the Italian beef sandwich. And omg let me tell you that my mouth waters just thinking about it. I personally believe it is the best sandwich in buffalo point blank. My daughter is only a year old so she got a simple order of seasoned fries, the amazing part about the fries is that they didn't get soggy and limp on the ride home (about 15 minutes away). They also have extremely good french onion soup. From what I've seen they keep the French onion on the menu year round, and make another soup daily. Finally for dessert, my wife decided to have the homemade cheesecake which was mouth watering. And I went with the Reese's peanut butter pie... It was amazing. So all in all, this place is fantastic. I've been there a few times on break at work, and my wife and I have gone a handful of times for dinner and each time we do we never walk away unsatisfied, in fact quite the opposite. I would seriously recommend visiting this place soon, probably before summer because being next to the water front and down the street from Woodlawn beach, there is not a singular doubt in my mind this place will be packed for the summer.
I've eaten here a few times and each time the food was amazing most recently I ordered the Italian beef sandwich with a cup of the tomato basil soup and had it delivered only because I recently had surgery and can't drive I'm about 15 minutes away the food showed up still hot and flavors were amazing, super impressed!!
The absolute best reuben sandwich I have ever had. There seasoned french fries were excellent and the chicken wings with spicy ginger sauce was out of this world. We were so full we didn't eat for the rest of the day.
Wow. The homemade French Onion soup - was absolutely delicious and the Italian Beef sandwich was outstanding...and for dessert - a scrumptious homemade Strawberry Ricotta Cheesecake ! This little gem on Rte 5 has really great food (real food) and very fair prices. Id give it 10 stars if I could ! Highly recommended!!!!
We stopped in to order on our way back to Indiana & chose this place as we didn't want fast food but couldn't dine in (we had our dog on the trip with us). Their service was great & the food AMAZING! They delivered to the vehicle for us & then came out a little while later to see if we needed anything else. My husband was blown away by the cajun shrimp tacos!!! So grateful as we really didn't want to hit up another drive-thru. Highly recommended everyone's food was perfect!
Amazing!!! The place is immaculate, the food is delicious! Meal comes quickly and your cup is never empty here! Fantastic place for some fresh food. It’s also inexpensive and clean! When it comes to drinks they have it all even Prosecco.
Stopped yesterday for a quick meal after a very long day. Employees were extremely friendly and very helpful when asked to reccomend. WEe ordered a variety of food...including soup and appetizers. All was great...nice portions...we will return.
Great food, comfortable setting.
I really enjoyed my experience at Lakeshore cafe. Excited to return! To start, we got the spicey shrimp , amazing.I got the lemon pepper fish , my friends got the Pittsburg salad and hot wings. We all enjoyed! Thank you.
Great place with terrific food. The presentation of the food is amazing as well, you won't be disappointed. I'm just updating, we go here regularly now, and this is a gem of Western NY. Everything is delicious, everthing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Food is always excellent and fresh! Service is good as well.
Highly recommend this place! Food was exceptional. Owners came to the table several times to check on us. We were provided with not only great service, but amazing food! You will not be disappointed. Everyone must go!
Cute little cafe , great food amazing service ! Best French onion soup out there !
Nicely renovated. Good service. Friendly staff. Good food.
Great food. We had the French onion soup which is rated #5 in western New York. It this soup is number 5 I’m going to find number one for dinner! The waitress were super sweet and the food came out delicious and quickly!! 10/10 would recommend
WOW! Stopped in randomly passing through! Service was awesome! I have to commend their Beef on Weck! It is an absolute 10/10! Also had the wings and some fries! And a to go box! If you’re in the area please try the Beef on Weck!!!
This was my first time here. We came before a Bandits game. Resturant was small and super cute. Food was pretty good. I got French onion soup and a beef on weck. The soup was tasty and had so much cheese (my favorite part) but it didn't have many onions. And the beef on weck was very good! Our waitress came to check on us quite a bit along with a gentleman who I will assume was the manager/owner/ something along those lines. We will be back.
Excellent food and service. Upon arrival I shared we were in a hurry, they got us in and out deliciously, pleasantly, and on time. I'd highly recommend!
Fabulous fish fry! We had the Cajun broiled and the battered, both were great! And probably the best mac salad I've had in a restaurant!
Please never take the steak sandwich off the menu!! Food is delicious and service is top notch too.
Just had an excellent meal at this cafe we are visiting for the first time. Cute, clean, with a friendly staff. The Italian dip was the best sandwich I have eaten in a long time, it was bursting with flavor on an ultra fresh roll. The hubby got a burger and said it was very good. We will be back!!
Great food and great service. Small place but worth it.
The restaurant was very clean. Something we have not seen a lot of lately. Our waitress was very attentive, but not overbearing. We stopped in while driving by. The menu is not huge, but varied. For instance, we got tacos. We had a choice of 4 meats, including the special. The food was fantastic and was difficult for both of us to finish. (Get the pork or shrimp). We do not live far away and the prices are very affordable. We will be back, a lot!
Great Food and Staff. Great Desserts. Wish somehow You could see the Lake. But My Dad worked 42 Years at Bethlehem Steel and it's nice to look across to where He Worked. Maybe some Historic Pictures of the Plant on the Wall?
We had a roast beef sandwich with french onion soup (which is a side option) and a chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries which was the daily special. Both were exceptional! Nice portions, nice atmosphere, dinner tasted great at a reasonable price! Wait staff was pleasant and friendly. All over a great experience and highly recommend!
Dining at Lakeshore Diner in Chicago was a delightful experience that brought a taste of New York to the Midwest. The cozy atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal with a friend. We indulged in the Banana Crunch pancakes, which were perfectly fluffy and topped with crunchy bits and fresh banana slices, creating a great balance of textures. The red velvet French toast was another standout—rich, decadent, and wonderfully sweet. With fantastic food and friendly service, Lakeshore Diner is a must-visit for anyone craving creative and delicious diner fare.
Mom and I love this place. Haley's always very friendly and gives an honest opinion when I throw my "would you rather..," food scenarios at her. She hasn't steered me wrong yet. Love the clean, uncluttered, bright, kind of nautical interior. We've tried the nachos, the tacos, Pittsburgh salad, fish fry, raspberry cannoli, peanut butter cake, a couple of the soups... all I would order again. Very fresh and nice presentations.. Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and AMAZING food!!! Cajun shrimp street tacos are the best I’ve ever had... so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. And my kids haven’t stopped talking about the Bavarian soft pretzel. Highly recommend.
My husband and I went here for a date night 🌙 I got the steak sandwhich (highly recommend) and my husband got the sirloin steak meal. The staff was very friendly and attentive to their customers. Food was awesome 👌 and the restaurant itself is super cute. We will definitely be going back here to try other items on the menu (which has a great selection)😋
Nice place and very friendly staff! Got wings and got the Cajun chicken Caesar the chicken was probably the best chicken I’ve ever had juicy and full of flavor the entire salad was wiped clean that’s how good that was we will be back!
Stopped in for a fish fry Friday lunch. Fish fry was fantastic. Perfectly battered and not greasy. Cole slaw was delicious. Waitress, Hailey, was friendly and personable, as she always is. One of our go to places. We have tried much of the menu and never leave disappointed. Keep up the great food and service!
It's a small, quaint restaurant. But the service and food is great. My friends and I have been there several times and each and every time the service is on target, food is of generous portions and very tasty! We will always be back.
This is a gem of a place to go. On our trip to the area for our daughter’s wedding, we were searching for a good lunch spot and happen to drive past this cafe and saw a full parking lot which is always a good sign! And yes it was!! The food is superb and our waitress, Hailey, was the best! Everything was sooo good that we returned the very next day and it was just as delicious and delightful the second time. Just sorry it isn’t a local restaurant in my area.
Loved the shrimp tacos and loaded nachos! Very clean and nice atmosphere. Bathroom was very nice! Do ask about if something is spicy. We did and got some things on the side. Nice variety menu and daily specials. Prices pretty much competitive, as all prices have gone up! Forgot to take pictures but the serving sizes were ample and a nice presentation! We got the nachos with short rib meat! It was delicious!
We started going to Lakeshore Cafe when they first opened. It is still one of our favorites. We have never been disappointed! The food is always made to order, served hot and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and service is always good. They now have a beautiful bar which adds to the success of this place. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!!
Lakeshore Cafe is a hidden gem on Lakeshore Blvd. The restaurant and bar are spotless. The food is all homemade and delicious with large portions ! The bar is beautiful and very well stocked with several choices of fine bourbon and craft cocktails. Make sure you make a reservation if you come for the fantastic fish fry on a Friday night!
The food was outstanding! The service and staff were great. I can’t wait to come back again.
Went with my daughter and parents. Our waitress was extremely nice the food was amazing. I got the Italian beef sandwich which was amazing only complaint is I wish there was more. Daughter had the nachos which were very delicious, dad had the beef on wick he said the meet was so tender and very good. Mom had the street tacos and she said they were really good as well. We will definitely be going back. A bit pricey but where isn't anymore.
I have been to Lakeshore Cafe numerous times and I can say I have never had a bad meal. Their menu is well-rounded and they always have great specials. This time I got the halibut tacos and I was so excited to see halibut on a menu in WNY. As an Alaskan living in WNY it made me feel at home and boy was it delicious!!! I love the staff as well. They are so friendly, attentive and down to earth.
The people leaving negative reviews must be either just plain miserable or professional cry babies. My family and I eat here at least once a week. We’ve come during peak as well as slow times, and always had great service and food. Having lived in Chicago for a decade, I can say the Italian Beef is better at Lakeshore than popular places in Chicago that are known for it. The food hasn’t changed and still great despite the sad and unexpected passing of the owner and chef. I’m glad his business partner is continuing on so we don’t have to eat at other places that serve the same old Buffalo foods all the time.
I came in with a friend to try a fish fry for dinner after hearing all over that this place does them best. They weren't kidding. I got a fish fry and it was fantastic. My friend doesn't like fish, so she tried their French onion soup as an appetizer, and street tacos for her meal. She said they were both incredible, and that was the best food shes ever had. The staff was amazing as well. The young person who seated us and got our drinks was extremely sweet, and took time to explain things we had questions about despite being busy. They didnt make us feel like we were wasting time, and wasnt making us feel rushed. Very kind but professional at the same time. Our waitress Kaitlyn was sweet as well. She was quick and also handled being very clearly busy. She was an awesome waitress and I'd have no complaints having her again. On our way out we had a small conversation with the bartender, Cassie, who is a very kind and very social person. I will definitely be coming back here and be recommending this place to my friends and family, as it has the best food and kindest employees.
1st time here! They have a very friendly and attentive staff! Had the pretzel as an app, hot and delicious with honey mustard and queso for dips. My wife had the roast beef on weck I had the Cuban. Both were delicious! I had a Guinness and my wife has the Bourbon and cranberry special. Wonderful drink!
This place is a true hidden gem in WNY! I’m so glad I found it. The food is outstanding, it’s very clean, staff is very friendly and the prices are great. I’ve been here a few times now and everything is outstanding! Can’t wait to come on Friday for a fish fry.
If you are traveling to Canada or Niagara Falls you can get a good meal here. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures because we were very hungry but the food was excellent as was the service. We had the Fried Ribeye with fries and salad with various sauces and the Beef with sauce, like a hamburger. Recommended, a quiet little restaurant along the city road.
Everything we have eaten here has been really good. Came here for a fish fry for an out of town. It was a tempura beer battered. Nice, light, crispy. It was perfectly done. I will definitely be back for this. Also ordered the Italian beef, which is on top 10 in Buffalo as well as the fish fry.Not a super large sandwich, but definitely enough and very tasty.
Such a cute little cafe. Great food and company. Corey took the time to chat and make us feel welcomed at the bar. The other girls were very nice. Both my friend and I had the French Onion soup, there could have been more onion pieces, I had two, but the broth had nice flavor depth. I had the hamburger and seasoned crinkle fries.. ate it all before my friend finished her soup 🤣. Will visit again we can come back to Buffalo from Canada:)
Small cafe and a great spot for a sandwich. Beef on weck was excellent as was the best cuban sandwich. A special thanks to Cory? (I’m so bad with names so this may not be right). He took the time to sit and chat with my 95 year old mom and made her feel really special. Easy access for my mom and her walker.
We stopped by after seeing Niagara Falls. The ratings were very positive so we gave it a try. So glad we did! My husband had the French onion soup; I had the shrimp creole soup. Both were amazing! Also ordered the Italian Beef and Cuban sandwiches. Amazing! The pic shows half of each sandwich (we shared). Lastly we ordered the cinnamon bun and limoncello cheesecakes. The limoncello could have been more lemony but the cinnamon cheesecake was delicious! Highly recommend the Lake Shore Cafe.
The Italian beef sandwich was advertised as top 10 in wny and they ain’t lying. Great flavor and texture in every bite. Perfect amount of cheese. Fry’s came out great. Asked for seasoned and they were perfect. Service was fantastic. Made sure everything was great and quick. Will definitely be back
Cute cafe with clean and comfortable seating. We had the firecracker shrimp appetizer and it was so good I wanted to lick the plate afterwards! The shrimp was crispy and a good size for a big bite. The sauce was spicy with jalapeños, peppers, and garlic and just the right touch of sweet. Servers were nice and the food came out quickly. Had the Caesar salad with Cajun chicken and the trio of street tacos. Excellent all around!!
I have driven by this location countless times but never went in. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in, the inside is completely updated and super clean! The food was tasty, service was friendly. I didn't get a picture of the appetizer: bacon wrapped onion peels, but oh wow! A great tasting bite! Price point is competitive/reasonable. Definitely recommend and would come back!
We were excited to see a new place open on Route 5. We decided to order some take out to see what this place was all about. I have to say I was impressed that a newly opened place got the take out times down perfectly. Our food was hot and fresh after a 10 minute drive home. I can’t wait to try and dine in sometime soon. In addition to their menu they post specials everyday on their Facebook page. Some of the best fries around. They are a cross breed of steak fries and crinkle cut, super crispy, even after the drive home. The Italian beef sandwich was flavorful and the addition of the banana peppers was spot on. The firecracker shrimp crispy and had a nice sized portion. The sauce was tasty and had just a little bit of kick. The bacon wrapped onion petals were the star IMO. Crispy bacon with an onion cooked to perfection with a BBQ dipping sauce. It was the perfect way to end an evening.
I had the Italian beef sandwich with seasoned fries and I was floored by the taste! It was packed with meat and the flavors marinated oh so we'll together. The fries weren't anything mind blowing, but they were crinkle-cut which you don't find many places and I liked them enough. They have a few choices of fry options as well. The space looks nice and I definitely look forward to dining in sometime in the future.
The overall experience was good, the fish fry was above par, but I didn't care for the coleslaw as it was doused in vinaigrette. The cheesecake was excellent but pricey. It would be nice to see some kids menu options and a tomato soup for the grilled cheese on the menu.
Menu is limited but everything we ordered was excellent got the fish fry and was not disappointed good quality piece of fish and cooked perfectly only criticism I could find is sides could be bigger but the quality made up for that will definitely be back
Food was made to order and delicious, but communication that nothing seems prepared, means you wait an hour for an entree. Don't get me wrong, fish fry and salad were amazing, just a heads up, be prepared to be here a while.
Good food, good size portions, service was good, not overly chatty but I never waited for my food.
Friendly staff and great food. Lemon butter pepper broil is really good.
Lake Shore Cafe was really good. Good variety of dishes and they also had daily specials. Service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. Went in for lunch and it had Good environment for small children. The pork belly tacos were cooked perfectly!
Been wanting to stop and finally did. Did not disappoint. Wings were good and crisp. Baja chicken wrap was very good. Steak sandwich was cooked to perfection. Three items off the menu were really good. Prices are reasonable. Staff was courteous and always checking up on us.
Nice location (I’m from out of this county and we think of it as Lackawanna instead of Blasdell) and the interior is pretty and relaxing. It seems a bit small, but that means the customers get more attention. All the employees are friendly and genuine. I’d like to bring my mom here for their Friday fish specials, but we were here on a quiet Saturday afternoon. We had the Prime Rib sandwich special. It was very flavorful. The picture doesn’t look like much because we had our soup or salad side before the entree. I am a big eater and this sandwich kept me full the rest of the day. Great food, crafted with care. Some entrées have a vegetarian option. The place was impressively clean.
Came here for the first time after wanting to try it for some time. Service: Initially we were one of two couples, but by the time we left we were one of five. There was only one server who was doing everything, even a take out order. She was so sweet and very attentive. Even with so few tables I’ve seen terrible service elsewhere and she was definitely great! We were seated immediately on a Monday night. Atmosphere: Very small but cute space. It’s kind of a little awkward especially when there’s so few people. People could hear everything we were talking about. The bathroom is so close that if you used it the entire place could hear you haha. But it’s very updated and clean. Menu: The menu is smaller in comparison to most restaurants in the area. While the food itself is not unique…the selection for the entire menu seems disjointed and doesn’t really have a flow or central type of food it focuses on. It’s kind of all over the place and we had a hard time figuring out what to get. It seems like a strong Sandwich and salad menu which fits the cafe theme but then everything on there seems out of place. Not at all a negative, just an observation. We couldn’t bring our daughter here and she wouldn’t eat anything on the menu, and she’s not even a picky eater. The food: My fiancé and I tried the onion petals. I think they’re over priced for what you get and ours were a bit too well cooked. I don’t think BBQ sauce should accompany them, a blooming onion type sauce would be much better. They’re alright, I would probably not get them again. My fiancé loved his side salad with ranch, I had a taste and everything was VERY fresh. I got a French onion soup…and the hype on the menu did not live up to the taste. It wasn’t too salty, however the salt overpowered any flavor. I prefer there to be a richer flavor then to have overwhelming salt. It was good and I would likely get it again but I have had much better. I also like that they don’t upcharge for this as your side like most places do. My fiancé absolutely loved his burger. Zero complaints. I got the chicken fajita wrap and was a bit disappointed. The plain chicken had a little char flavor…but it didn’t taste fresh…almost like frozen chicken thrown on a grill? I could be wrong… it I didn’t get the fresh taste from It. The peppers and onions were either frozen from a bag or they cook them far earlier in the day and add them quickly at the end when they cook the chicken as they were very mushy. I don’t think mine even had any cheese in it. The flavor was meh. Overall: I would come back and try some new items but I won’t rush back or make this a regular spot for take out. But I think it’s worth an extra shot and has potential.
Food was okay but portions were notably small, particularly given prices. Given how few patrons were present, delays being seated and getting food were somewhat out of line. Would neither return nor recommend others visit Lakeshore Cafe.
Disappointing. The chicken and Italian beef sandwich’s were very buttery and left us feeling greasy. Salad and fries were underwhelming. Meals were pricey. Woman who answered the phone and checked me out was far from pleasant. Bad vibes and bad tastes. Interior looked nice.
Food was good but not for the prices. $16.00 for 2 stuffed banana peppers? Sandwichs don't automatically come with fries and ketchup is provided in little cups?
Ordered a chicken sandwich and grilled cheese today, both with soups. Sat down at 1:30, and didn't receive the food for until 2:20. There were only 2-3 other tables with us. Service was great, atmosphere was, too. But for an order that seemed it would be quick, it took far too long. Busy restaurants with more complex orders don't even take that long. Not sure I would return.
Cheeseburger looked good, but when I took it apart to add the mayo there was a band-aid in it. Never got to eat anything. Couldn't get the thought of ungloved hands with open sores out of my head. Still can't. They still charged the guy I was with too. Burger looked like it would've been really good tho.
With only going Two times I wish I could leave a better review as the fish fry was great but the staff is why we won’t be returning. The same waitress was there both times when we went on a Friday. The first time she took a bit too come over to our table but we didn’t think anything of it as she was bartending as well. There was only one other table and one person at the bar plus the manager (I’m assuming) sitting at the corner table. This time the same manager sat us very quickly and a younger kid (very pleasant and sweet kid) brought us our drinks. BUT the waitress looked at our table several times as she took care of the table near us and the other 2 tables behind us. She and the manager brought those 2 tables food. She went to the table about 8 times and not once stopping at our table to take our order. If they were busy I would understand but there was a bartender and runner for food. She brought that table food, refilled drinks, had their food boxed for them, brought their check and cashed them out still not one time did she stop at our table. We told the staff at the front we hadn’t been seen still no waitress. At this point it’s been almost 20 mins and we decided to walk out when we were walking by her we said we waited too long and she said okay bye.
Waited half an hour for a table... was out of everything I wanted to order, so the other choice---was horrible. Very disappointed, used to be one of my favorites. I could've made better food at home. Very expensive.... was rushed out as well.
The hostess there was understanding, friendly and greeted us upon arrival. We opted to sit at the bar and wait for a table, estimated about 20-30 minutes. The bartender did not greet either of us and just asked what we wanted to drink. She gave us our drinks and then walked away, not even asking if we wanted a menu. We thought they may not serve food at the bar, totally understandable. When we asked if a table was ready approximately 20 minutes later due to our experienceat the bar, we were told another 15 minutes or sit at the bar. Once again, understandable for its all approximate times. I asked if food was served at the bar because we were sitting there for 20 minutes and didn't even get offered a menu. Note there was no interaction and/or acknowledgement from the bartender once she dropped off the drinks. The hostess did inform us at this time, food was served at the bar. The hostess gave us a table, menu, and drinks, where she said a serve would be with us. 20 minutes later, no server still made an appearance at the table. Deciding that we spent enough time there, upon exiting, one of the servers asked if we were leaving, and apologized. While I understand Fridays nights in the restaurant industry can be hectic, chaotic, and delays may occur, not being acknowledged when present for 40 minutes at the bar and/or a table seems excessive. I've only heard good things about this places, but the service and communication here diminished a possible return. The hostess deserves recognition for being engaging and proactive. Please note, this rating is based upon the service itself.
