Under new ownership. Environment is great, new owners are very polite and welcoming. Food has changed a bit. Egg and stake tasted different, not bad, but I was used to the old recipe. Salsa is still the same, I'm glad. I will still go since the change has been good. I just hope the new owners can add the credit/debit card feature.

I tried many many breakfast burritos in LA, and this one is by far the best. Definitely worth the wait. Order with easy potatoes and extra salsa, and you’ll be in heaven. I would swim in their salsa if I could. It’s so simple, but so perfect.

A true staple of Burbank. If you haven't had a breakfast burrito from here, then you haven't truly experienced the city. Tiny place and usually a long wait to order and for your food but it's so worth it. If you like spicy then get it with salsa inside. For the faint of heart; get it with salsa on the side first. It's not insanely spicy but it compliments the rest of the ingredients really well.

Best Burritos...they must be since I drive 12 miles from my house. Bacon Burrito, steak burrito, sausage burrito, plain. So far all great tasting. There hot sauce is good too, spicy, so you first times I suggest for it on the side and you add as you wish. The potato is not hashbrown looking, hard to describe, but all good. Mon-Fri 6am to 11am breakfast. Saturday 7am to 11 am breakfast (they only open on Saturdays for breakfast)

I have no idea how old this place is but I've been coming here for at least 25 years. The owner has been at the register, his brother on the grill, every time I've gone in for their famous breakfast burritos. What a gem this place is! Been wanting to try it for years and it totally lived up to the hype. We had the sausage and the bacon breakfast burrito and both were so delicious - perfectly distributed ingredients so every bite was perfect. Quick stop early one morning, no wait, service was good, was a convenient walk from the hotel we were staying at. Would come back again if in the area. You just gotta remember to bring cash, that was the only downside as I had walked there and had to walk back to the hotel to get cash!! That can damper your hunger a little, but didn’t stop me from fulfilling our hunger!

Haven’t been here in about a decade, and man these breakfast burritos bring back memories... They have not changed their formula, and the hot sauce is still the best... I highly recommend these. The only draw back is the long lines, doesn’t matter what time you come, there’s always a line. Oh yeah, and it’s cash only. But other than that be ready to have the best breakfast burritos this side of town.

Wife and I tried this for the first time today and it blew us away. Best breakfast burrito we’ve had in a long time (both got the bacon, salsa inside and on the side seems standard)—delicious flavor, good portion, plenty of spice. It also was hot the entire meal (we ate there on the little covered patio), somehow holding onto the heat from top to bottom! The service was also top notch—felt like I was part of the family even on first visit. The most genuinely kind and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!

But the food does back up the hype. Must be the way they make the potatoes and the salsa that make the burrito so popular. Good luck with parking, and expect to spend 20+ minutes waiting for your order during busy mornings. Lots of people phone in their orders in advance to save time, though you still have to fall in line to pay, since they're cash only. Recommended for breakfast, but they also have the usual diner fare for lunch. The teriyaki bowls are good and filling. Definitely a local favorite.

My wife and I have been wanting to try this place out for a while. Several of our friends kept raving about their breakfast burritos. Unfortunately today we missed breakfast but we decided to stay for lunch. One of the specials for the day Pastrami burger, fries and a drink. I added chili and onions to mine, while my wife opted for chili only. While the patties are small the flavor isn’t. I truly enjoyed every last bite. On a side note the chili reminded me of the chili from one of my favorite places of all time, Tommy’s!!

One of the best Burritos I’ve ever had!!!! I am from Mississippi - I came to visit my aunt, she told me these burritos are the best! She did not lie! The staff is super friendly and so welcoming. My burrito was cooked to perfection I mean look at it!!! Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Potato, cheese wrapped tight but weighing in heavy! This is one of those places that although it isn't much to look at you wonder why there is a long line everyday, but then you taste the breakfast burritos and you understand what the attraction is. Food is served in a quaint, no-frills corner spot. Service was efficient. What I appreciated most was the ability to customize your burrito - from easy to crispy potatoes, eggs and cheese you can create your perfect burrito. The salsa is spicy and delicious. The price is affordable. A solid breakfast burrito in the Valley.

Food is good bring cash or pre order on your phone and you can pay with Apple Pay or PayPal if not all cash . If you order sandwiches with other food . Ask them to cook your sandwich last because if not it's going to be sitting on the counter and it's going to get all wet soft and saggy from the lettuce and tomatoes and sweat . There's a lot of clients that go there . I'll be coming back for a rematch

Very friendly service, but it was scorching hot inside (they don't have AC, and I felt bad for the workers). It's not a place to dine in during the summer! I wish they had more variety for vegetarians - they actually don't serve any beans or vegetables, so the vegetarian burrito is fairly plan (just eggs, potatoes, and American cheese). Felt like it was missing something. The place probably earned its reputation for meat eaters. Also note: cash only.

it was good for the first time trying their burritos. for the price it was a decent sized burrito and ingredients were pretty evenly distributed. if you order there the place only accepts cash but you can also place your order online if you only have a card. drink selection is pretty basic but overall it was pretty good.

This used to be my go to breakfast burrito spot all through my school years. I just recently ate here after about 15 to 20 years and although the flavor is there it just wasn't the sane burrito. It was a lot smaller than they used to be and they got my order wrong. I will definitely give it another try but I did notice that it was different management working then back in the day. The salsa is absolutely fire and what brings me back.

Good breakfast burrito, but I ordered a Sausage, egg n potato breakfast burrito and it was aaallllll potatoes, eggs and almost no Sausage at all. I literally got to the bottom of the burrito to find maybe 5-6 chopped up Sausages. Kinda sux! Especially because I was so anxious for one.

This used to be my favorite breakfast burrito spot but after the new changes it’s not as good. I loved how filled the burritos used to be. Now it’s smaller with more tortilla which I hate. Also the amount of potatoes is less and I think they switched potato type because they’re sweeter now? Salsa as well is different. Idk if it was the cook or the new management but it’s definitely not what it used to be. Also expect even longer wait times because they do online ordering now. I waited 40mins for one burrito.

The burritos were good but super small for almost $12. I ate a burrito with 90 percent potato maybe be one egg and hardly any sausage. I don't know I felt ripped off and was still hungry. It was all social media hype I can make better ones at home.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Usually estimated times are correct but the most recent visit I ordered 2 burritos at 10:15am. The order said it would be ready at 11:40!? Still, I wait and come in 5 minutes before 11:40 and they still say please wait another 15-20 minutes. I’m sorry but it shouldn’t take over an 1:45 to make 2 burritos.

This burrito most mostly bland mushy hashbrowns with the occasional tiny piece of bacon or egg. I drove here because of all the great reviews and social posts and was extet disappointed.

Someone recommended this place and the reviews looked legit, so I gave it a shot. Ended up waiting over an hour for a small breakfast burrito and bowl. Portions were tiny and pretty basic. The steak was thin with lots of chewy bits, my bowl lacked flavor, and the eggs had a burnt taste. Honestly, the salsa was the best part. They were super busy, not sure why, and while the staff was friendly and working hard, the food just didn’t live up to the hype. Can’t recommend it.

It’s sad to see this legendary breakfast burrito shop decline with the new owners. The burrito I had today wasn’t the same I had a few years ago. The prices have gone up but the burritos have gotten smaller, with a lot less of the fillings, not the same taste.

I used to come here a lot as a kid with my dad and always ordered the steak burrito—it was my go-to. I just came back after three years and got the same thing, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The burritos have gotten smaller, there’s noticeably less steak, and now there’s more potato, which overpowers the flavor and has a weird sour taste. I also found out the original owners sold the place, so that might explain the changes. Overall, I was disappointed with both the portion size and the taste.

I went to pick up food and I noticed they use gloves and wear a cap but they don’t cover their beards , so it’s pointless to wear gloves and have a cap because a facial hair can be fall in your food.

Place isn’t the same with the new owners. Have tried to give them a break a few times since the new takeover, yet I won’t be going back. Placed an online order for a sausage breakfast burrito with crispy potatoes and no egg along with light salsa inside. The burrito I received had nearly no sausage, the potatoes (which is the bulk of the burrito) weren’t crispy at all and no salsa was inside, rather it was provided in their tiny container. Considering the price ($$$) and lack of attention to order, I would not recommend this place anymore. RIP to the classic Corner Cottage.

Really wanted to love this place. It’s a Burbank classic and everyone talks about the breakfast burrito like it’s legendary. But honestly… it just wasn’t good. The burrito was so bland. Mostly potato, barely any seasoning, and the flavors just didn’t come together. The salsa was the only way I was able to eat it. I kept waiting for it to hit, and it never did. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe it’s just not for me. But I left super disappointed.

Never Going Back — Sold Me Expired Horchata and Refused Refund I recently visited Corner Cottage for breakfast burritos. While the burritos were great (a bit small for the price), the real issue was the horchata. I ordered two, and both tasted off—like chemicals or spoiled milk. I tried calling back to request a refund and was instead told to call the drink supplier oddly enough. I did, and to their credit, the woman I spoke to was shocked and said she would send someone to inspect the machine. When I called the restaurant back to follow up, they flat-out refused a refund because I didn’t physically bring the drinks back (as if I was going to save and transport sour horchata just to prove a point). That’s not how you treat customers—especially when you’re serving potentially expired products. Between the poor customer service and the health risk, I’m done with this place. I don’t care if they have the best breakfast burritos in town supposedly, that’s not how you treat customers. I spent $40 on two tiny burritos and horrible tasting Horchatas. Just wanted to let the community know.

The ham bfast burrito had 2 thin slices of supermarket ham,barely any egg the rest potatoes, the sausage one had 6 very small slivers of sausage where if i stacked them they would have been about 25% of a farmer johns sausage. I’ve been a costumer for years since the last ownership, but this new administration seem to be focused on receiving as many online orders as they can, but definitely THEY CAN’T. They’re pushing the cookers to the edge. The app estimated that my order will be ready in approximately 35 minutes… I got there a little bit before and the guy told me “You’re 3 minutes earlier”…. I was forced to wait for another 10-15 minutes. Burritos don’t taste the same. Not coming back.

All four burritos only had a bunch of potatoes, hardly any cheese and bits of meat here and there . Basically I bought potatoe burritos. Way too over priced for the quality of the burritos. The only thing I did like was the hot sauce which is what gave some type of flavor to the burritos. I think they changed ownership because these burritos used to be bomb. I spent about $45 and it was a waste of money because we ended throwing half of our burritos. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely never go again!!

I’ve order many times from this place , this time order completely sucked. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos. One with sausage second sausage and bacon. They ended up giving me ham and Sausage. Talked to owner Alex about it and zero customer service. Apparently to Alex who took the order bacon and ham are same because he couldn’t tell difference when you tell him on the phone bacon he think ham. And he keeps insisting that we ordered ham, in fact never in my life I’ve see ham in breakfast burrito. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, EQUIVALENT TO POST OFFICE!!!!!

Ordered sausage breakfast burrito and fries. It was all basically potatoes barely any meat at. Burritos are small for the price you're paying. Fries were soggy and they didnt give us any ketchup in our bag. However the spicy salsa was really good and fresh saldy it comes in extremely small containers and you pay extra for it. Was super disappointed because the reviews were so good. But definitely will not return feel like we were cheaped out

Burrito is good but they’re incredibly stingy and don’t barely any meat. You have to pay to add extra just for a normal amount. I ordered bacon burrito and I didn’t see any bacon crumbs until 2/3 of the way in.
