Atmosphere was not super elegant, but was lively, with a few families dancing to live music, not sure how often they have live music, but the energy was full of life and joy and family. Seems like the kind of venue for small family parties. My Partner/BF ordered us a Fritanga a LA 27 to share (serving size is plenty unless you're very hungry, but we didn't even order sides or dessert). The meats were flavourful, the cheese a touch less flavor intense and textured than another place we tried (but that place the meats were dry and not very seasoned). The plantain chips were excellent. Crispy and juicey flavor. Our waitress was friendly, but didn't quite understand my question.

The place is a little dated, and parking on the weekends can be a pain. Other than that, it’s pretty authentic. I got the fritanga and cacao. They had a musician, so it was kinda loud.

I love coming to this place but the today the food was mediocre and paying $14 for a crappy cacao drink is ridiculous. Don't think I will be coming again. So sad, since the food can be delicious but they have gone down. Gallo pinto was pale and flavorless.

Is true !!! My family tell me like a week a go that this restaurant star lowing they standards was priced but food was good and was a big plates y good services so I have to see by my self and yea I order my favorite ones yuca frita and chicharrón also the famous naca tamales and yea unflavor tamal no crunchy yuca just three pises of meet services long face not special curtido passion fruit water nasty but same high prices .

The foods quality continues to drop the meat keeps getting smaller amd drier. The friendly waitresses are gone. Now they have rude staff. They did have some guy playing live music that was very good. Unfortunately, after many years of coming here, I think today will be my last visit.

$16.99 this place is a joke! I cant believe they have the audacity to give this to a paying customer and feel good about what they’re handing over! I am both extremely upset and disappointed! But one thing is for sure, I am never stepping foot back in this place! The options might be limited but the only thing consistent abt this place is getting conned!
