I like this place assuming you can get a seat at the bar. This place more than other sports pubs in the area work on table turnover, therefore there is a three hour limit on tables and a minimum purchase, a la the old ESPN Zone sports bars. That is not too common in the DC area. That said if you can get a seat at the bar none of that applies. Decent whiskey selection, good beer selection on tap, the steak I had was really good. Service was great. No real complaints other than the table restrictions. I plan to go back.

Was here for a Washington Commanders rally. Food was pretty good, but in the open area of the lounge I was in, we never saw a server to place orders. Had to go out and find where to place an order.

Everyone enjoyed their food. Drinks were nice, service was kinda slow for it to not be really busy. The pretzel was the best thing and the drinks were good too. We'd definitely come back for those. My mom loves their steak and cheese sandwich.

The atmosphere is pretty laid back. Nice sports bar located in the casino. We've been a couple of times. But this time, the prices seemed wayyyy higher. The food and drinks were really good. Our waiter Imani was the best and the scenery outside is really beautiful... Would've given 5 stars if their prices weren't as high. My bf and I paid almost $200 for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and our meal.

Service was good. Presentation of the meals 👌🏾. The atmosphere was great. TVs all around to catch the big game of that day. I enjoyed the Reuben sandwich. The chicken wings with mambo sauce was actually really good but the order of old bay wings was missing old bay. And I would have preferred fresh strawberries within the Strawberry Angel Dip. Their “fresh strawberry swirl” tasted and looked like strawberry jam.

I really only like the catfish strips here but I decided to try the gumbo greens. They need to rename that dish gummy greens. I guess the cook was tired and gave up on cooking the greens. Maybe he gave me some he was preparing for the next day, I don't know but I will not be ordering that again. It has the potential to be good it just needs some work and flavor.

You’re at the MGM so atmosphere should be above average… food sucks! But if you went here to eat then be mad at yourself! Get a beer watch the game and thank me later!

I personally am all for a good time however, the live karaoke is quite honestly the biggest mistake I think TAP MGM has made. The decibel at which the microphones are set at, is entirely too loud. I literally could not hear what my date was saying to me and we were seated in the same booth. I personally believe the karaoke should maybe take place in the back of the restaurant in the large private event space. That would also help with the flow of patrons, and the congestion of people that are blocking the aisle attempting to record their family/friends sing. My date and I selected TAP MGM to watch the Washington Nationals, have a few drinks, and have a good meal because well, that's what you do at a "Sports Bar". Had we known it was amateur night at the Apollo, we could have been better prepared or selected another venue. On the bright side though, our server was wonderful, drinks were tasty, and food was served hot and very well seasoned!

The place was packed & ppl were having a good time. The prices are a bit steep for my liking but it's a casino location so.. The drinks were good though. The food was okay. The service was good.

We arrived soon after TAP opened, so there was no wait. The server took our order quickly, and food was brought to the table quickly. Now, with the restaurant being empty, the server would have checked on us, but that did not happen. Seem since we did not order any alcoholic drinks, then our table was not visited. There were a few problems with our food, but we could not catch the server to complain. My steak was supposed to be medium well but was medium and laying on my mash potatoes, so there was blood everywhere. My wife asked for no cucumbers in her salad, but her salad came with cucumbers everywhere. The manager came to the table as we were wrapping up to leave, we shared our concerns, but nothing happened. It will be a long while before we visit again.

This was my first time at Taps and it started off good. The food was good, but the customer service was horrible!!!!! We could not get a waitress to get drinks, so we went to the bar and was told to place it on the co tab before 7pm. I went to the bar and was ignored by the first bar tender, who just walked off, so a second bar tender shows up and I'm still waiting while he is taking the customers order next to me, I simply said hello whats your name he said "I will be with you ma'am with a stern voice and I asked again. What's your name again he repeated the same thing with a stern voice at this time I wasn't rude I was very pleasant. Finally he came and took my order when I said to put it on the co. tab he said it had to be paid for at the bar and took the drinks and sat them behind him and told me to talk to the Manager. I spoke with the Manager and he said the tab was closed at 7pm and apologized. I explained, I was standing there since 6:45pm and no one acknowledged my presence, I stated your bartender was very rude and customer service is everything and walked away!! All someone had to do was acknowledge my presence and say I will be right with you but instead I received an attitude! I dont know if this is a black owned establishment or not, I know the entire staff was afro american, but if it is with service like that, no thank you! We as a people have to get it together and treat each other with respect! It doesn't cost a dime to smile and be pleasant we're all going through one thing or another and a smile and just being courteous goes a long way, its just good customer service!! Im not upset, just disappointed in the treatment given for no reason! The first impression is everything!

We visited Tap Sports Bar at MGM National Harbor around 5 PM today, and unfortunately, our experience with the service was very disappointing. To start, the host at the front seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. The restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were asked to wait over 15 minutes while other guests who arrived after us were seated first. It was uncomfortable, and I had to stop one of my friends from expressing frustration because I already sensed the experience wouldn’t improve. When we were finally seated, it took another 15 minutes before our server arrived. He also appeared disengaged and unmotivated, and our drinks and food took much longer than expected, roughly another 30 minutes. On a positive note, the food itself was excellent, flavorful and well prepared. However, the service and overall hospitality were far below expectations. I hope management takes steps to train staff to be more courteous and attentive to all guests. As much as I enjoyed the food, I can’t recommend this place based on the service we received.

Reported a mouse in front of the bathrooms about 20 feet from our table. The staff was not surprised and made it seem like not a big deal. When we received our $300 bill I asked about compensation and was offered a free drink. PG County Health has been notified. I have pictures and videos of the rodent.

The bartenders the most nastiest and mean servers I have ever encountered in high end bar MGM . John and a short one with green eyes. I waited from 8:15 pm. John claimed that I did order Nachos when I ordered 2 drinks and food. They would not take their time to listen. I will not be returning to the poor operated establishment!! My first time and last time.
