After a day at Typhoon Texas I took my my wife, sister and 3 nephews through the drive-through and had a difficult order with all kinds of special requests with each item. The girl taking our order from the window did not act flustered or frustrated. We were sure they were going to mess up our order but the order was perfect and delicious.
My husband and I have been coming to this WB every Friday since November 2023. And when I say every Friday, I actually mean every Friday. This location rocks and has become part of our weekly routine. Our service from the staff is amazing! Our food is always on point and fries extra hot like we like them! Destiny, Drake, Jonathan and Sebastian have taken great care of us!
My jalapeño whataburger was hot and their new crafted lemonade is really good!

04/25/25. I have never had an experience of using drive thru like I did with Jeremy, he had amazing customer service and was talking with the upmost respectful manners I’ve ever heard. Unfortunately, there were customers being so rude to him and other workers. But through that, Jeremy and Tele (who was handing me the drinks and food through the window) were still shining their smiles and I hope they are noticed by their supervisors and are appreciated. A few others could learn to smile .. 😊 great service and food here!

I tend to come here when I'm in the area and i'm always having a good time. Service is good and the food is fresh. Last time I went, one cashier, Jabe, was very helpful and had a ton of recommendations ready depending on what type of flavor you're in the mood for. She definitely needs a raise.
Whataburger truly surprised me. Not many fast-food chains carry Strawberry Fanta, which happens to be my favorite, and their strawberry shake is very good. That said, the main reason I’m writing this review is for the staff, the cleanliness of the store, and the excellent service. I was greeted with friendly faces, my order was completed in a timely manner, and they’re generous with sauces. Everyone was welcoming and pleasant, and it’s clear the team knows what they’re doing. Customer service and excellence clearly matter here, and I really appreciate that. Overall, excellent service. Keep up the great work, team.

This Whataburger location in Katy, Tx by Pin Oak is awesome at what they do. My order is always on point, the staff does a fantastic job. I love the cleanliness of the restaurant and the food quality is always great!
I've been coming to this location for years. There's rarely a time that I'm not greeted and treated like I'm some important figure walking in this place. Anna, Zohra, and Monica are always helpful. They get the order correct and out in a timely manner and are always genuine and kind. If there's any problem (rarely at this location) it gets handled quickly and without issue. I've been to a lot of Whataburger locations and this by far is always my go to. Those three ladies should be considered true treasures to this company.
This place has the best service. The staff is so freaking friendly and its clean and fast the food is always hot ASK FOR ESTHER WHEN YOU GO THERE SHE IS SO NICE AND FRIENDLY AND SUPER FAST THIS IS THE BEST WHATABURGER IVE EVER BEEN TO
If it was possible to give this store a six star rating, I would do it. Jaylin and Bryant greeted me and helped me with my order and were cheerful and engaging while doing so. Their order server Devine was sweet and friendly. The food was delicious and I was able to customize my order to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Well done hiring manager for a busy Saturday late lunch day shift.
Stopped for a quick burger on my drive from back home to San Antonio. Was late and it was pretty busy. Regardless of how packed it was, the service was great, food came out hot and fresh. Top 5 of the Whataburgers I’ve been to, and this will be the only one I come to when coming back to Katy/Houston.
I had such a great experience at this Whataburger! The restaurant was clean, the staff was super friendly, and my order came out hot and fresh. So far this whataburger is doing better then before there drive thru times are better. Food is always made fresh and hot. They got new order takers they are more friendly and have a better atmosphere than before. They do get busy during game nights so the time may take long but over all not a bad whataburger.
This review is based on other fast food restaurants like Whataburger I find this to be a clean restaurant inside and out friendly service food comes out hot. I would encourage to use the mobile app for either curbside or carry out just because it can get real busy this location has over 10 curbside pick up spots. It’s right next to an H-E-B and right right off of I 10 so I can get real busy. Staff are friendly parking was ample although I know that I can get real busy so you have to be careful about that. Would recommend and plan on going back
Every Whataburger I've visited offers a know what to expect consistent experience. Great food. Love the smell. Good, quick courteous service and a smile. Clean restaurant, clean men's room. Appreciate racking up points to encourage my return visit. Nice location near Katy Mills Mall. Plenty of parking space. Be sure to fill out the receipt survey for a return visit reward. What a meal. Not just a meal, an experience. Whataburger!
It always never fails. I literally mostly put in an online orders and I go to pick it up and I stand there and my food is ready and my fries are cold but employees are just not communicating with us customers. So it seems like there needs to be more communication here. Ask the customer what are you waiting for? and give them their food so they can be in and out. Please and thank you.
Good food. One of our favorite fast food burger options
It was good, but ever since the company in Chicago bought it, they are not the same. If you noticed all the stickers on the windows are now gone. The window stickers would say, God bless America, are something about our troops. The company that bought whataburger is woke and destroying our Texas values.
As expected. But because of its location the parking lot was cramped and the bathrooms are locked and on has to ask permission to go to the bathroom. (Atleast at night)
Must be a Friday night douching hangout. Nothing against the place itself, but the first person taking our order walked away while we were ordering and the second person who came in asked what we wanted. Anyway, food not too bad.
Atmosphere: I did the drive through, so my atmosphere was most excellent. Food was standard for Whataburger. Not outstanding, but it was hot and fresh.
Ok for what it is. Chicken was a little over done but the service was quick and friendly. The tables were nice and clean.
This is my second time going when the drive-thru was so ridiculously slow that I drove away
I walk in. Nobody in line. 2 workers behind counter, there talking to each other. I'm at counter with credit card in hand ready to order. They don't even acknowledge me. A few minutes go by. I ask, can one of you take my order? Wow. Did I get a rude attiude after that exchange. Managers, please train your workers better! It's simple, Hello welcome to Whataburger, how can I help you? Is that asking too much? Also, cold fries. Burger was great.
I place an order at 8:21 pm tonight, 8/20, and a group of 4 teenagers showed up and placed their order about 3-5 minutes after myself and my husband, along with a single person right behind them, they ALL 5 of them got their order before me, it took 20+ minutes. And to top it off they are allowing a different group of HIGH SCHOOLERS to vape inside the building, no one was going to stop them until I told someone about it. If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m pregnant and this is the closest whataburger to me, I’d stop going completely.
Came through the drive through and ordered 2 things. A number 1 with mayo and lettuce and a number 2 with cheese no pickles and no onions. They messed both of them up. How do you mess up 2 items completely… 10/14/25 9pm
This Whataburger absolutely does not live up to expectations the food is always horrible when I go here or order online. They always forget extras that I order such as sauce or desserts and they food is always nasty. I’m at the point where I’m never going to order here again even though it’s closest to my home I rather take the extra drive to mason rd where the food is better
I don't know who manages this place but wait time is ridiculous. The drive thru is horrible. Corporate should be contacted at this point.
They mess up my order twice and the last time they put cold cheese on my burger
I’m giving this restaurant 1 star today for the extremely long wait in the drive thru line. The food I’m sure will be very good but this wait is insane. Now at 42 minutes!! Can’t get out of line because we’re blocked in.
Showed staff green egg on breakfast sandwich and no sense of urgency from manager or staff. Didn’t want any refund or compensation in fact spent more money while I was there. After that bought a coffee and it was cold. Hopefully not a reflection of the business as a whole but very disappointed at how I was treated and I was nice.
Disappointed very disappointed. One job to do is all I asked. Listen to my order and that’s all. I came in 9/17/24 order no 595206. Asked for burgers to be dry= no sauce of any kind at all. Asked for spicy ketchup and was given only one spicy ketchup and one regular. I even clarified I only wanted spicy. The gal even put three spicy on the receipt but somehow I received one. If you hate your job that much get a different one. When customers work hard and come thru a drive through because we are hungry we just want our food the way we ordered it.
Been eating at this Whataburger since they opened. Today’s experience was beyond ridiculous! Placed an order for curbside. A simple Whataburger Junior meal and 1 extra Whataburger Junior burger. My order was supposed to be ready between 6:24pm-6:27pm. I arrived at spot #9 at 6:25pm. At 6:38pm, after i watched the drive through line move about 20 cars and the lobby help a lobby full of folks that had received their food and left, i called the location. The manager answered and i explained who i was and how long i had been there. He asked to go hold for a moment when he promptly hung up on me. At 6:41pm he came out of the managers office and walked towards the door towards curbside where he proceeded to start pushing in chairs at the tables and throwing trash away. At 6:44pm i got out of my car and went inside. They hadn’t even started making my food. 3 minutes later i received my food and a drink. I promptly walked back towards my car… almost reaching the door there was a huge water spill on the floor and no wet floor sign. I almost slipped and fell but caught my balance and proceeded to exit the store. Got to my car and took a sip of my drink when i discovered they gave me a sweet tea when i ordered unsweetened tea. I had to then go back inside and get a new cup and my unsweet tea. Absolutely shameful how terrible the service, customer service and general communication with their customers! Never an apology for the delay, wrong drink or water on the floor when 3 of their employees saw me almost slip and fall. Chick fil a makes this place look like the circus! I’ll be using the cinco ranch or Gaston road Whataburger from now on. They know how to make the meals promptly and know what customer service is!
Poor service and procedures. Ordered a promotional item on app. Arrived at store to pick up. Was told they were out of what I ordered. Since I ordered on app I was told they could not refund or cancel order. Was told they could right my name down and I could come back tomorrow. I don't understand how I couldn't get a refund in an item they advertised but didn't have. Was told to call corporate. Corporate told me up to 5 days for refund. This is absolutely unacceptable.
I ordered breakfast through the app at 10 AM and received my delivery an hour later, only to find that the food was incorrect despite the receipt being right. I called the store for help, but the employee told me to contact customer service for a refund and said there was nothing she could do since breakfast was over. This is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I expected better service from Whataburger. I used my points to redeem free food & now I don’t have those points or the food. Very sad. 😞😞😞
Slowest Whataburger in town. Almost 30 min delayed curbside order
This whataburger is the slowest I’ve ever been too. I spent 20 minutes waiting for my food in the drive thru. And I was one of 2 people. It’s absolutely ridiculous. And my order is consistently wrong here. Idk why I bother trying to come back.
There is the slowest Whataburger in the entire company I’m sure. Nothing like being stuck in line for 30 minutes. Avoid this place. Not worth the wait. The employees lack urgency because they don’t care
Ordered only grilled chicken sandwich and was given a meal instead when I can’t have fries.
30 minute Wait in drive through. Got order wrong twice on the order screen. Then proceeded to still charge me for the wrong order after I corrected them twice on order screen. Asked employee to charge me for the right order and she kept getting my order wrong again. Proceeded to ask for a refund and then manager came to ask what my order was. I already made it clear I wanted a refund and manager still kept asking for my order. Finally after demanding for a refund I was issued a refunded. I don’t know if they were short staffed or training new employees, or what was going on but this Whataburger used to be a lot better.
The last 2 times I went and asked for no pickles the receipt shows no pickles but the sandwich has pickles (update we’re up to 3 times) They forgot my sandwich this time and my burger had what I hope was a mustache hair
NOT FAST FOOD. SLOW FOOD. It actually took 30 minutes to get our food. No apologize for the delay either. Would not recommend to any friends or family. BAD.
Extremely slow drive thru. We waited for 30 minutes after placing our order for a kids meal and a plain and dry cheeseburger. Multiple cars behind us received their order first, and had larger orders.
Slowest Whataburger on the planet. Was in line for 42 minutes waiting for food. Couldn't leave bc they already took my payment. Couldn't get out bc other cars blocking us in waiting on food as well. They forgot several requested items as well.
This location is always forgetting to put something I ordered in the bag. I ordered curbside and today they forgot my fries. Last time it happened, they forgot my brownie reward. Always check your bag if you are picking up an order here. They've done this multiple times.
When me and my family arrived someone spilled about a third of a fountain drink next to our table. I let two members of the staff know that there was a considerable spill that needed to addressed and when we left 20 minutes later the spill was still unaddressed as employees continuously stepped over it. Total lack of concern for customers that might slip.
Ignoring walk in counter orders while focusing on drive thru and door dash orders. Everyone seemed to be mad. Im a senior who ordered coffee and charged $4.31 while a senior standing by me was given free coffee. Needless to say I won't be back to this location.
This Whataburger is terrible, food is never fresh, orders be wrong, employees act like you’re bothering them by being there. I will start driving further out, I am not wasting my money here anymore.
Those of my friends who have lived in the Houston area long enough might remember Marvin Zindler’s Food and Restaurant Report and how he despised “slime in the ice machine!” Well, as someone who previously worked in restaurant management, I can tell you “slime” can develop in other areas if not cleaned often and properly. Sadly, this was proven to me on March 25th when this slimy and goopy tea sediment made its way from Whataburger’s tea dispenser or nozzle into our drink. This is what happens when the dispensers that hold a restaurant’s tea and its serving nozzles are not cleaned on a daily basis. The tea sediment builds up and you get slime in the tea machine. Sadly, the Whataburger at 25635 Katy Fwy. in Katy does not practice good restaurant sanitation practices. I would highly recommend that my friends find another restaurant to satisfy your burger desires because Whataburger does not seem to care and believes a simple apology will suffice. When our health is involved, it won’t!
25 minutes to get 2 burgers at drive through. One car said of us when I ordered. They were serving many vehicles behind us while I waited. Ridiculous!!
If you want to wait 15 minutes for a mean and don’t mind, come over here. Aside from that they got my order right last time I was here.
Thank you to the cashier, Hashem S, for taking my order correctly and being so friendly—I really appreciate you. I dined in with my husband, and while our order took almost 20 minutes to come out, I wasn’t upset since everything was fresh and hot. What did bother me, however, was something I overheard while eating. An individual (wearing glasses and a blue button-up shirt) told Hashem to stop “chit chatting” with another young lady who seemed to already be off work and just waiting for a ride. If Hashem needed to get back to work, that’s understandable, but the way the comment was made felt very immature. It was said so loudly that I heard it from far away, nowhere near the register. If that individual in the blue shirt with glasses is a “lead” or “manager,” I think it would be more appropriate to address situations like that respectfully and privately, rather than in such a public way.
Whataburger has really gone down hill ! ... Food was cold ... And don't know who calls this a burger patty ?!?! This is almost paper thin !!!!! .. Double meat burger ???? Looks more like a children's burger !.. Very very disappointed!!!! ... No flavor ... Poor quality... 😑
This location has to literally be the worst in the area. I’ve lived in Katy my whole life and since day 1, this place has sucked. -every time I go through the drive thru, the wait time is crazy long -they mess up our order every time -the burgers are mediocre. Other whataburgers makes their items how they are suppose tom this place is so sloppy and hardly puts and toppings on. -workers look like they hate their life I’ve asked workers why my food is taking so long and for years, I hear the same thing. They tell me the managers are terrible and not organized. I take the extra drive to go to the cinco ranch location. I get this same service every time I come here and I’m not the only one because I see others complain too. My final straw was last night with I got a honey butter chicken biscuit. First off, they use to be huge. Huge piece of chicken and a larger biscuit. This thing was so tiny, I could have eaten 3. I swear they put a tablespoon of honey butter on the corner and a chicken nugget in the middle. The chicken was so small, at first I thought they messed up my order and only gave me bread. It’s so irritating to pay a lot of money for very poor quality food.
Great And Friendly customer service. Seemed to be short staffed but the team still worked very hard to get me my food fresh so I didn’t mind the wait ! I was greeted at the door with friendly smile!
I usually refrain from leaving bad reviews untill someone truly has earned it thoroughly. I stood at the register for more than 5 minutes with nobody ahead or behind me. There were about 5 people working behind the counter n kitchen up n down. Almost everybody saw me waiting for them to attend me but nobody even bothered to say hi or they would be with me shortly. 5 long minutes after a gentleman showed up, again no greetings, took the order in the coldest manner possible. Much to dismay, lo n behold, the order was messed up as they paid no attention to instruction as which cheese I wanted. Had to wait again for them to attend me n fix the order. Horrible place and lazy people with notion customer service, not the mention floor was covered with used napkins n sleeves of straws n stains of food. Horrendous, horrendous and horrendous experience.
The wait time at this restaurant is ridiculous. With only 6 cars in the drive through we had to wait about 25 minutes to get our food. In addition to that, two of our four burgers were missing cheese and the tea barely had any ice in it. Quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in a whataburger.
Slowwwww. Don't bother using the app to pre-order. Its quicker to order in person. I ordered my meal 20 minutes before someone ordered in person. That person ordered, ate, and left before I got my food.
The curbside wait here is always absurdly longer then the app timeframe given, but today, after 30+ minutes of waiting and having to go inside only to see several other patrons waiting over 30 minutes (one said they had been there almost an hour), I left without my order and a call to corporate for my refund. They apparently had half the order sitting the entire time and were planning to just add to it and send cold chicken on its way. Last time for this location for me.
I went here for the 75th anniversary, whataburger was having 75 cent burgers. Well, I'm not trying to eat highly processed fast food. But you can't beat that price. You can only do this through the mobile app, but for some reason it wasn't working for me. But I was already stuck on going to whataburger, so I ordered the new wrangler burger through the mobile app and I shouldn't have. It took 45 mins to get my order. They forgot my drink and come to find out, there out of ice. It was a good thing I was in leave for a deposit for my company. Otherwise, I would have been losing money on my lunch break. If this happens again whataburger, be more organized!!
The wait time in the drive thru is absurd. The young African American female that worked the drive thru at 11:30 pm on 8/4/25 has the worse customer service. After waiting in the drive thru at the order box for 25 min to place an order and experiencing how she decided to speak with me I decided to drive off and not place an order. I will not spend my money at a location where I’m spending this much time and receiving attitude.
