Great food!!!! Hot food. I got catfish platter. With my large drink n 2 sides still was under 7 dollars!!!! Wow!!! Now I gotttta stop by n try other stuff too. Very courteous service.

First time and it was just perfect. The fish, the chicken, the seasoning and the price is just great. A bit of a drive for us but it's worth it. We will definitely go again.

Very friendly staff, hot fries, some of the best fried chicken you can get. The fried okra is better than anywhere else! And they have a great side and extra menu that my kids love. We try and go at least two times a week. Cash is very friendly and kind and ashley is awesome!!!! Very fast and affordable as well

Went today and got the 3 piece mixed combo with green beans and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious!!! Chicken was cooked perfectly and the spice on the chicken was fantastic. The green beans had good flavor and mashed potatoes were good. The staff was very friendly and best customer service I've ever had, I dare say they would give chic fil a a run for their money. Combo and drink was about 8.50 and from order to leaving took only 2 min. Definitely cant wait to go back.

Chicken is very delicious and the shrimp is good also. We were very happy to find another chicken place other than William's and since we been to Lisa's we haven't been back to William's Chicken. All of our family and friends asked where did we get the chicken and we told them and they started going. And the prices are wonderful very affordable, and we love that you all cook the food fresh as we order it. Keep up the great work with the food and customer service!

The food was fantastic. Loved the fish. It was cooked perfect. I am a mac & cheese girl. Theirs is the best ever. My sister ordered the chicken livers. Yummy. Will be a regular. I believe a gentleman named Cash is the owner, very friendly and welcoming.

The fish is always very good. Very large pieces and fabulous taste. Okra and green beans are great sides. Along with corn fritter, fries,corn and Cole slaw. The prices are very affordable. Clean store. Great chicken too. Have been going to Lisa's Chicken for years and they are consistent with producing great food and friendly customer service.

I called in a pick up order for a dinner meal, and the worker was quick to offer a similar special that offered an extra side with a 2 liter drink, which was very much appreciated. I was able to pick it up at the drive thru within 10 mins of my order. The food was hot, the drink was cold, and the chicken was really good ! This was my first visit and I will be sure to try them again.

Seen a number of Lisa's in Arlington but I was never hungry when passing. This time I was and decided to have a go since it's darn near in my back yard. It's in the old DQ so the building itself is a bit dated but I wasn't eating the walls I was eating chicken and catfish. Got 2 piece dark and 1 fish as a trial and error. This place was everything I heard about Lisa's. Great flavor great crunch. That fish was so delicious it rivalled some of the best catfish in the DFW area. The outside skin was just fabulous. The fish itself was an explosion of flavor. Employees served enthusiastically WITH smiles and professionalism. I normally don't like runny Mac n cheese but here it was so good and tickled my ribs. I would eat here on a full stomach that's how good it is. Overall, Lisa's was awesome and will definitely give the other chicken joints in this area a great deal of competition.

Lisa's fried chicken is consistently hot, good, efficiently served. We are done with the big chain fried chicken places who want you to wait a half hour for dark only pieces and then charge you a fortune. We love Lisa's!

First time at this location and i was really impressed. Had hot wings and catfish fillet. The catfish is really top notch! Their prices are also very reasonable. I’ll be back for their 2 piece fish dinner next time. This location was superior to the Arlington location and will be the one I frequent routinely.

First with the service, it was great! I think it might have been the owners daughter and she couldn't have been more polite, while dealing with a very busy business and having to deal with an employee. The food is outrageously good, seasoned very well, the chicken was juicy, the gizzards required no hot sauce and we're not overcooked like other places (Chicken Express). I chose to drive 45 minutes round trip to get this amazing chicken and cannot recommend them enough. Don't let the location scare you off, this place puts it 💯.

The best shrimp! Skip the chain drive thrus of Cedar Hill and Duncanville, Lisa's has large servings of delicious food. The breading was really good. Everything tasted like homemade, but better.

Just glad that I don't have to drive to Ft. Worth for Lisa"s chicken. Haven't lost any flavor, just as good as I remember it from the Funkytown days. It's an old DQ and not a store like in FTW, so no beer , only draw back for me, lol!!!.

Most people take out, I see very few people in the dining area at this location. I give them 4 stars on food because not every dish shines. If I could rank their main courses, I would put their fried catfish first, followed by the tenders, then the chicken and last the livers and gizzards. This last one is tough to get right. That being said, the chicken is good with crispy crust; the white meat is not dry. The fries are frozen and crinkle-cut but fried well. The mashed potatoes are from powder, kinda reminds me of what you would get in a school lunch, but again, not bad. The green beans are good but nothing fancy. They also have corn nuggets and fried okra. It used to be dirt cheap, but prices have gone up like everything else. That being said, for the price, it doesn't ask anything of places like KFC or Golden Chick. If you order a family meal, you will also get a 2-liter coke, rolls, and jalapeños. I used to eat at one of these in Fort Worth all the time; it never disappointed. Do a search; you may be surprised to find one near you. They definitely have more locations in Fort Worth. For the money, their catfish can't be beat. You can get full on 2 filets and a side. I would call the fish their signature dish. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Lisa’s Chicken in Cedar Hill has a great selection, good food and they even offer 12 pk soda you can purchase at drive thru. They take call in orders and their chicken is soo good! All meals come with a pepper. 🥰😜

We have tried Lisa’s before but they were always part of another business. This was the first independent one we went to. The food was great and the eating are was clean and well maintained. Overall it was a very good lunch.

Chicken is always hot and fresh. Gizzard are always fried hard, just like I like them. Sides are always good, except for the mashed potatoes, they taste like instant potatoes. The building is always clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is great. This is one of my favorite spots, they haven't disappointed yet.

The food tasted good however, it was very greasy. The prices are definitely good. Their catfish is really Swain aka Asian Catfish, not good for you at all.

The chicken strip was good. The catfish was mostly batter with little fish....but it had good flavour. The service was good and fast. It was clean.

I've lived in the area about 6 yrs and they have always been great but when I make request it never gets done right it's like yall intentionally do the opposite. I ask for 3 legs and 2 thighs ...yall give me 3 thighs 2 legs i say i want i want 5 legs and 5 thighs on a 10 yall will just give what u want ...put no request if thats the case...Every SINGLE time. Smh food is good just hate when my order is wrong. It's not a cheap meal, so correct serving is expected.

I shouldn’t be rating a restaurant on a dipping sauce, but every time I come here, I ask for ranch. The cashier says “ok”, and I get a big cup of gravy when I open the box. I’m not trying to be rude or picky, but it’s kind of a slap in the face when you ask for one thing and get another. It’s honestly like this everywhere in Dallas. Either say “we don’t have it”, or give it to me.

The good: food is tasty and fast. The bad: Past couple of times i've had a rough experience with the drive through. The prices on the menu are not consistent with what they charged me. Paid $12 and change for 5 tenders and two sides. No drink. (Ended up paying the same price as if I got a drink anyways). I also don't like that they put the hot food directly on the styrofoam. I'm not sure why that's not a common health food issue. Burned styrofoam is highly toxic. A suggestion would be to place parchment or wax paper between the hot food and the styrofoam.

So when I first tasted Lisa’s Chicken & Seafood I did not like it. There were a few times I ordered fish, tenders and okra and I wasn’t impressed. I wasn’t impressed by their food because it lacked seasoning (in my opinion) and the textures were weird… especially the fish. I thought it would be my last visit, but it was ordered for me. This time I only had tenders and okra, and I can honestly say it was better. The food was fresh and it tasted more interesting.

I got a couple of things just to try them out. The 1st was 5pc mix chicken meal with fries and mac&cheese, 2nd 6pc shrimp meal with fritters and coleslaw, 3rd 2pc fish only and side corn on cobb. The chicken reminds me of Williams but just a tad bit more flavor, fries (can't give a truthful opinion I'm just a potato person period) but the Mac&Cheese is just that, noodles and cheese, no flavor and mushy. Corn was the same way mushy! Shrimp and was popping fresh and hot right along with the fritters and coleslaw (need its own container not with hot food). Forgot to take pic of chicken plate but if you've had Williams chicken you know what it look like then.

I moved out of state 3 years ago, so it's been a minute. The chicken was OK, nothing special. The fish was thin, salty, and mostly breading, especially if you get a thinner one like one of mine. The fish texture was mushy. I'd skip that. Mac n cheese was good, coleslaw average. Not as good as I remember. Portions were good

Like most establishments, when they first open they do well ... after a year or so they get sloppy and loose their luster on what they had once they first opened. Past 4 trips they have either given us the wrong order or could not prepare what was ordered. We have to make them repeat what we have said , and then they even get that wrong. Example... how is it when you order coleslaw you get mashed potatoes? Chicken livers have been undercooked and chicken has been dry. I hope they step it up or I don't see a bright future for this establishment .

I’ve gotten food at this place multiple times however up until last month have I’ve been having problems. The same worker keeps messing up my orders and I’m not sure how. When I order the food it seems like we’re both on the same page but when I get to the window he forgets part of my order or hands me items I never ordered to begin with. The worker dropped my change on the ground and continued to act like he didn’t care so because of this I will not be going back to this place.

There are better chicken places around! The tenders were chewy, and then gravy was bland, and the roll tasted store bought and baked a week ago. The corn nuggets and mashed potatoes were good! We got chicken wings and gizzards to go. The gizzards were good, but the wings weren't. Basically the chicken place didn't hit the mark on the chicken. They were also mopping the floors in the middle of the day and the strong cleaner smell was so bad we had to leave.

The shrimp was not up to their usual standard, disappointing! We will try one more time, and hope it was just an off day.

horrible customer service and the place stinks

I ordered 24 PC of chicken and they gave me 23. I asked for 12 wings and 12 thighs. Instead I got 20 thighs and 3 wings. I called them back and explained that my order was short of chicken and wrong and all the guy did was argue with me and tell me I'm wrong when I'm standing over the chicken looking at it. He told me that he could only give me 16 thighs and 8 wings for the order otherwise he would have charged me differently. I told him I was willing to pay for whatever just as long as I got my 12 and 12. Also he should have said that at the time of order and we could have settled it then. I would have gotten what I ordered and he would have gotten his money. I live 45 minutes away so I couldn't go back. But anyway he said he will call me back but he never did. My dinner party was ruined and I was out of $40 for old chicken I didn't order. Be careful going to this place. Only order small orders or check your stuff before you leave. I will never go back there.

I do not know about any other location, but I will not be going back after this. First, just to call and advise that someone can't tell between a thigh and a breast. DENZEL proceeded to tell me to figure it out, then suggests that we fight over chicken I paid for.....right on....I wouldn't spend a dollar at this place. My first post ever about a restaurant!

I remember Lisa's chicken years 13years ago when I lived in Fort Worth and their chicken was good. However this location was in Cedar Hill and I wanted to see if they still had it. Well they don't. My chicken was bland and the texture was of dark meat real greasy. My mashed potatoes tasted like they had been prepared with coconut oil and the green bean tast like the were straight out the can. I hate they put jalapeno peppers on all plates because I don't like it. When I saw that he did it I explained that I don't eat spicy food the guy goes you no like pepper, no! Well it's on the chicken already and only removed the pepper. Oh he did replace my roll. Just a hot mess They won't see me again.

I do not recommend this location at all. The only reason I even came here was because of my daughter. Ordered food went to the window paid waited and then they said it's going to be a 10 minute wait because they gave all the food to the previous car. So instead of asking me if I felt like waiting they just took my money. And then my order was messed up never again.. Do not go here....

Left my card in the drive thru came back went inside ask one of the employees can you ask the drive thru attended do she got my card. He laugh in my face and said no. Didn't ask her nothing. My mom had to come in there and the manager act like he didn't want to hand over my card. Went by Lisa's to pickup family order of chicken @15 minutes ago. Said they only have 3 pcs of chicken and will not make anymore. Poor customer service if you dont close until 10p.

Visited this place very frequent but 4/9/24 did it for me. Young man behind the counter was very very rude 1st off it was a "What's up with ut?" instead of May I help you? Then was rushing me to order & wasn't listening to me when I was ordering. Then gave me white gravy after I asked for brown. The issue is when he just told me, "You didn't order brown gravy" & I said yes i did & he said no you didn't in an aggressive tone which put me in the defensive aggressive mode. That isn't how you talk to paying customers. Then proceeds to say, "I'm just a cook!" Well why take my order if you're just the cook. I am definitely going to reach out to the owner of this establishment. I am a food business owner too & the owner should be informed on how his customers are being treated. The ladies that were there apologized for his behavior and corrected the problem. Again it wasn't about the gravy, it was about the terrible service from 1 young individual that could ruin a business.

Horrible service. I asked for ketchup for my 15pc chicken order and the drive thru attendant told me to park and they would bring my order out. Later on when it came out, no ketchup. So I went in and asked for some, I was told that it only comes if I order fries. Why wasn't I told that when I ordered at the drive thru and asked for some? I wont be buying anything from this location anymore.

I am a truck driver so I don't eat here often but when I am home I try to help local small businesses, This location is practically a block from my front door and being a Friday night and I don't really feel like going to far I decided to indulge in some hot wings from ole Lisa's I ordered the 12 pcs hot wings coming to the total of 14.06 I am like what the hell I am hungry let's just go with it but for almost a dollar a wing these had better be pretty darn good wings. Welp they weren't, I mean the top 4 or 5 in the small box were fresh from the fryer and nice but the ones on the bottom seemed to have been under the heat lamp since lunch. So thanks for charging me premium price for some dried out leathery wings there Lisa's.

Came to this location to get 2 for 1…food and apply for a job and being that I love Lisa’s chicken (I go to the several of them in Fort Worth all the time) ..decided to stop at this one. When I got to the register to pay for my food I asked a bout hiring position that they have advertised on the window. He got the manager for me (Asian/chinese) and upon paying for my food.. he came over and looked me up and down (judging) and said “Yeahhhh…at the moment we are full” while the other Asian/Chinese man that took my order is laughing?! I spent my hard earned money at this place, you come over to get a business in this community with our tax dollars, and take our dollars and this is how you treat us??!! NEVER AGAIN AT THIS LOCATION AT ALL!!!!!!!!

They’re hiring, but you have to be a little older than 18. Really? Call and they say you have to be at least 16. Now they are full…then why’s the sign still out front?? They still working on getting the sign down. It’s not exactly a billboard, lol. Sounds a bit “selective”. SMH and on JUNETEENTH of all days!!! We boycotting!!…Something’s fishy @LISA’S CHICKEN!

I ordered the fish and for the first time of my 53 years I never experienced fish that has been beaten with a mallet, the fish was paper thin! Wow! The chicken tenders were way over cooked like chewing on leather! No paper towels, silverware, anywhere unless you asked! So please avoid this place, and save yourself disappointment!

2nd time I take time to stop at this location and the quality was not good. 1st time chicken was dry . And 2nd time I ordered jalapeno poppers . The cheese was oozing out into the package and when I bit into them and they were almost empty of cheese. . And I don’t know what was going on, but the time it took to get my order and the other cars that were in front of me were really ridiculous. I waited about 15 minutes .

Came on a Sunday, today, waited in line as the drive thru was packed. Waited for 15-20 minutes, just to receive old chicken. I guess you can only expect fresh chicken when they open. A waist of money when they didn’t even give what was asked for I paid for a 3 and 2 piece mix with a wing instead take a breast that’s dried out had been sitting. Never again! Too many other options than this place.
