Omg one of our favorite places! We always come and live everything we get here!! The pizza and pasta are our fave but everything is so good. The grilled cheese romano was insane so so good
Great food and a very lovely atmosphere
Been here a couple times and it's amazing!!! In specific the cauliflower poppers and mushroom pizza were fantastic!! Food and service 10/10!!
I live in Great Neck. Once a month my wife and I go to 5 Towns, specially to have lunch at Upper Crust.Their food is delicious specially the person who makes the pizza really knows what he is doing very well. Every time we go I eat Aglio Pizza, my wife eats different food she likes anything she eats there. She tries to make same food at home but no success. This place has a special way to make their menu excellent, everting is delicious... Now... Stop thinking twice, if you want good food, good atmosphere, smily face waiters and good service, take your family, get in the car, drive there and have a pleasant lunch or dinner. Enjoy... (by the way I am using my wife's computer I am sure when she is reading this review she will also agree with me for sure)
Absolutely love Upper Crust in Cedarhurst! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warmth and professionalism. The service is consistently top-notch—attentive without being overbearing, and always friendly. The food? Simply phenomenal. Every dish is packed with flavor and made with care, from their fresh, crispy pizzas to the perfectly seasoned pastas and salads. You can taste the quality in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, perfect for both family dinners and casual lunch dates. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. Upper Crust is hands-down one of the best dining experiences on the Five Towns strip.
Yummy yum yum! One of the best Kosher dairy resteraunts in New York. I went with my family, and everyone enjoyed. Completely satisfied. The service was great and fast, the only thing is that pasta take longer then berthing else and pizza because the make it fresh. Highly recommend. Go with friends go with family , all will love unless your lactose intolerance because it is very dairy, and even then they have dairy free options.
Went here for lunch today. Very clean popular spot located in Cederhurst. Has a menu with multiple things. Ended up going with one of their famous pizzas. I ordered the Carnita pizza, a pizza fake chicken and pepperoni. Service was fine and wait wasnt to long. Very family focused restaurant
A robot woman now takes orders over the phone. She told us the blackened tilapia didn’t come with sides. She was stilted and very creepy. After I hung up and called back to tell her the fish did come with two sides, I get sent to a humanoid who was very nice. Beware of the Robot order taker. She is creepy! And uninformed. And ps my husbands blackened tilapia didn’t not taste good. It’s usually delish.
Food was decent. It was very crowded for lunch on a weekday and the tables were super close together making it hard to get in and out of the seat. We had an issue with our meal (AC leaking on food and marinara sauce getting all over the place when the waitress brought the food out) and the manager Noam was kind and accommodating and moved our table and helped with the bill. It was an okay experience but I don't think I'd go back.
We went as a party of 9 to celebrate my sons graduation and birthday on a Sunday evening, so I knew it was going to be crowded. The food itself was excellent but the service was subpar. It took a while after we all closed are menus for our order to be taken. I asked that the food come out all at once (so that we can eat together instead of in stages or waiting for others while our food gets cold). We were told it'll come out when it's ready. And that's exactly what happened. But when they brought the food out, they didn't seem to know who to place it in front of so they just put it wherever there was room. Additionally, my son (who was the whole reason we were there) ordered something specific from the menu (that Uppercrust has but other Dairy places don't), and halfway through putting all the food out, told him they didn't have it. Had others not gotten there food yet, we probably would've left. Additionally, they forgot my husband's order and brought it to him when everyone was almost done. No one came to ask how we were enjoying, we had to flag our waiter (and other waiters) down to order dessert which took a long long time, and took even longer to eventually pay. Food was great but I honestly can't say I'll be back any time soon.
Simply a scandal. Two awful salads and two small 33cl beers… 87 Canadian dollars. An absolute disgrace. Terrible food. A rip-off.
The most expensive and underwhelming salmon caesar kale salad I ever bought. Dressing tasted like a glob of mayo, the “kale” was really a bunch of pre-bagged romaine with a couple leaves of baby kale sprinkled in. The salmon had zero flavor which could have been ok if dressing had some. The tiniest sprinkle of parm, couldn’t taste it at all. I wish I could get a refund.
I recently had catering done for my daughter’s first birthday by upper crust (not sure which location) - but it was a compete disaster and I’d like to warn anyone if they wish to deal with them in the future. I’m a return catering customer, they did my baby shower last year. Last time, JJ was the catering manager and he was very welcoming, very sweet to deal with - I had zero problems and everything was perfect. This time I dealt with Emma - the new catering manager. She was very hostile from the beginning, she didn’t have much customer service experience. They upped the prices but lowered the amount of stuff included - someone make that make sense? 🤦🏻♀️ I asked multiple times that everything will be checked and I will have enough of everything we need. I specifically requested that my catering order doesn’t arrive later than 12 because my party starts at 1. My catering order didn’t arrive till 1:15. My guests had arrived and were sitting with no food in the chafing dishes. Once we open everything, there’s no cups included. They cheaped out on plates, on forks, on knives, on spoons. I call in a panic because I have a million drinks and no cups - Emma says she checked the order, it has to be there. She doesn’t once apologize that the order was soooo late - she should have made sure it arrived on time, if not early. She tells me that everything should be enough and she will refund me for the missing cups - I never received nothing. No apology for the bad service, for the late delivery, nothing. And the icing on the cake is half of my guests got severe stomach aches - would not recommend and will never dine again. Upper crust - do better!
Pizza was swimming in cheese and left a terrible aftertaste of rotten cheese. The pasta was alright, but it also left a bad cheese odor, as if it had been sitting out for two years. The coffee was $8 and bland, tasting like plain milk. I asked for more espresso, but they charged me $3 for it. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I got home with a sharp stomach ache.
