Great cooked food
Excellent lunch
價格合理,食物好味,服務有禮!
This is a small, independent restaurant in the fashionable Suffolks area of Cheltenham. I have eaten here on a few occasions for dinner and Sunday brunch, both of which were excellent.
Visited for lunch on Mothers day. Great restaurant, excellent service and food. Well worth a visit.
New English style tapas menu was fantastic. Great wines and super service too.
Good food and vibe. Menu and wine list are interesting. Good portions.
Fantastic food served by genuinely enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended!
Excellent food and reasonably priced. Charming owner.
Dinner at the Suffolk kitchen was the highlight of my trip to Cheltenham. Fabulous restaurant
Lovely grub, excellent staff, good bants with them
Food was lovely and staff very lovely too.
The Suffolk Kitchen is absolutely wonderful! It is a little gem of a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in the heart of The Suffolks in Cheltenham. The food is delicious and the service is excellent - I would highly recommend a visit.
Lovely food and nice atmosphere. Sunday lunch is good, they are not stingy on potato's and you can ask for extra gravy 😊
A group of 8 of us (including 4 children) have been for Sunday Lunch. It has a very relaxed atmosphere, with excellent food, and staff who were wonderful. The price was not as much as we expected, so will definitely return! A nice change to the usual larger eateries
Small but warm restaurant, it's an ideal place for lunch. We take the lunch menu and we like the food a lot. Highly recommended for the house wine.
Good modern English style cooking in a relaxed atmosphere.
Very good Sunday lunch and friendly staff who made our family very welcome. Value for money and highly recommended.
Really nice place and relaxed atmosphere. Not the cheapest but would def go back again.
Good food but very slow service.
just had the Sunday Lunch. I cannot fault the quality at all but, and we may be alone in this, LESS is MORE: The beetroot, goat's cheese starter was fine but rather too large. Dessert, which we shared, was just right....it is the main I have a suggestion........apart from the delicious roast beef, indulgent yorkshire puddings and crispy roastiees, could we not have Red Cabbage, Stuffing and Cauliflower Cheese on the same plate PLUS other vegetables in a side dish. Cut the mac and cheese or red cabbage? Judging by other diners this restaurant does not seem to attract the 'pile 'em high' brigade so having so much on a plate must mean high wastage and wasted profit. You kindly bought more gravy, but 2 more boats...one was never touched...again, such a waste and not good for the bottom line!
I had been wanting to go for a while as I follow them on instagram and the food like nice. We went along after the Cheltenham food festival and we got a table without a booking and there were a few spaces considering it was a Saturday night. The service was good and the food was really good. We enjoyed it and will be back soon. From the photos it looks like the breakfast is good so we will be returning soon
Fantastic value for money, 3 excellent courses from the lunch time menu including catch of the day for the main course and all for £16.95 per head. Lovely environment and excellent service though they were clearly short on covers which is a shame because the Suffolk Kitchen is an absolute gem..
Went for dinner and a couple of weeks later for lunch. Lovely place to be, very tasty food and friendly staff. Service was good and although it isn't somewhere to go for a cheap lunch, you get what you pay for, quality!
Decent, but nothing special.
Nice location in heart of the Suffolk’s , friendly staff and atmosphere, but the food on the last couple of occasions has been pretty disappointing for the price. Given the wide choice of restaurants now available in Cheltenham we’re not inspired to go back.
Average food. Very expensive
Nice atmosphere. Good steak (quality butcher). Bad sticky toffee pudding. Left disappointed. Sorry.
Staff very nice.. but need guidance as very young.. main course excellent... but we asked twice for a pudding menu waited 25 minuets and gave up when the table on our left hand not had their orders taken for over thirty minutes and the table on our right had to ask three times for their wine and then were given the wrong one, and almost halfway through their meal.. sad spoilt a nice evening won’t go back that is a shame because it all started so well Phil
Was there for a birthday dinner party on a Saturday evening. My friends enjoyed their main course, though I ordered the fillet steak and found it took much more jaw work than would be reasonable. The major issue was the attitude of the service staff. A middle aged man did most of the work here. One lady in our party mistakenly ordered Irish coffee rather than baileys coffee. We asked to have it replaced to which the man brusquely replied that "The shot (of whiskey) cant be taken out now" we didn't care about the money and would have paid for both. But he charged off. Another person in the party remarked to him that she felt the rice in the pudding was perhaps more firm than would be intended. He responded simply with 'no-one else has complained'. These are just a couple of examples of the crazy service. Very disappointing as the place has a good atmosphere. It was quite a bhsy sitting but I can't think that excuses.
Don't go here if your a group of 8 or more as they don't bring out nearly enough. Most of us didn't get a hash brown, sausage or beans and only 1 plate of extra bacon was brought out. We had 4 kids with us who ate barely anything. One of them only had some beans at a price of £5 each. Adults cost £8.50 for a child size portion. Won't be coming here again unless something gets sorted out. It's a shame as it's a nice place to go. Just not enough thought into how much food people eat for a high price.
