I went to this restaurant for the first time today. The food was very good and well-prepared, with generous portions. We ate outside on the porch overlooking the sea, but the place is beautiful, well-kept, and above all clean. The ice cream was delicious... I will definitely be back more often and will recommend it! Congratulations!

Best Aperitivo in Chiavari. Better book as busy, especially on weekends

We took advantage of Maré's strategic location for a quick breakfast overlooking the sea and were completely satisfied. The cappuccino was delicious, the service was fast, attentive, and friendly, and the view was stunning and very relaxing. The staff served us with care and kindness, providing us with a stress-free break, giving us all the time we needed to enjoy our breakfast without having to pressure anyone to free up a table (a real bonus in a highly touristy location). I particularly appreciated the management's initiative and proactive attitude. Given the rainy day, they certainly didn't sit idle. Unlike other establishments in the square, they worked with remarkable energy to repair the outdoor furniture under the porticoes, redecorating the space and ensuring a comfortable environment for their customers. Maré is the touch that was missing from Piazzetta dei Pescatori. We'll definitely be back on our next trip for an aperitivo, a romantic dinner in the square... or even just for gelato!

Arriving in Piazza Davide Gagliardo, after strolling along the seafront, you'll find this well-stocked bar, open even in the late morning, for both breakfast and aperitifs. The croissants are delicious, the coffee excellent. The aperitif is also recommended because everything is excellent. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. It's a good value, and you can enjoy the sea view.

Located in a beautiful square. Excellent for an outdoor aperitif. Good alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Ideal after a day at the beach or for breakfast. A quiet place to eat or drink while admiring the landscape. Friendly and pleasant staff. Low prices.

Stop for a snack with focaccia and sandwich, a good slice of walnut tart and apricot jam with cream and ice cream, located in the small square overlooking the sea.

This restaurant enjoys a beautiful location on the Chiavari waterfront, and although it's a bit out of the way, it's nestled in a quaint, historic square. We stopped for breakfast: The focaccia was good, and the brioche was good too. The bill was reasonable. (I only advise the waitresses to get a grip, because slouching at 9 a.m. doesn't look good, especially in a public place.)

This evening we were treated rudely by the staff. On our way to the restroom, we were reminded in an extremely rude manner that only customers were allowed to use the restroom, despite having been sitting outside for over an hour. Despite this unpleasant experience, another waitress was very kind to us.
