Just good KFC chicken! The people are real helpful and easy going, I can't always get out what I want to say, they are very patient. Can't wait until we are able to eat inside again.

The people are great at this fast food place. Everything is always fresh and really fast. Great idea for a big family or large group of people to feed.

I want a shout out to the manager tonight, I got home and was missing part of my order ,I called abs spoke with her, and she had the rest of my order ready, plus some extras. Having worked in the food industry, I think it's important to remember we're all human and mistakes can be made, and to give kudos when they are corrected, she was very pleasent on the phone and store looked very clean.

Always yummy. I have never had a bad meal here. People are nice. They have meal deals on certain days etc. Great to go with friends or family too.

I'm so happy and surprised for visiting KFC after 4 years or so, I was helped really Fast. My favorite crispy chicken, delicious! Now, the team work at this location deserve a special recognition for their efforts. I had an excellent dinner with my wife that evening. I'll come back soon. Special thanks to KFC.

I went through the drive thru with my kids. Jordan was the one who tok my order. I haven't had KFC in 15 years and had no idea what to order. Jordan was very patient and recommend items. After several minutes our order was complete. We pulled to the window to pay and got Tammy. She was incredibly nice as well. This experience with fast food was the best I have had in a long time. Thank you ladies for being amazing. We will definitely be back next time we come to Chico. Anyone who wants friendly service and great food needs to come here!

The K.F.C. at 1980 East Ave is my son's favorite restaurant.He gets the four pieces with double mashed potatoes and gravy with a large Dr pepper, we'll be there as often as possible.

Very friendly and delicious food! Drive thru was a bit slow for the number of cars in line, but overall it took just over 15 minutes. The chicken is worth the wait!

Just ate at Kentucky Fried Chicken drive thru. I had a classic fried chicken sandwich combo. It was awesome! Very moist, not greasy at all. People were fast and friendly! I will return!!

There are several things that you can count on, and KFC being really close to the same at every store is one of those things. I've visited this KFC several times in the past and the food is normally the same every time "GOOD". The service is decent, the store is usually pretty clean. I'll go back again, next time I'm in the chico area.

Favorite go to fast food in Chico, so thrilled they are building one in Oroville!! Love their pot pie, never had a bad one, the crust is worthy enough for actual pie, just like my Grandmother's!!

The donut chicken sandwich is an abomination that simply must be man-made, because I cannot imagine God is content with its creation. A creature of taste but so utterly catastrophic that consuming it becomes a herculean feat. To eat this sandwich is to endure a sludgy, sticky, unfathomably greasy fest of mushy donut and chicken, expectedly by hand, and to then apply it, somehow, to your mouth, and pray it does not attach itself to your face. And if you should have facial hair, you are truly asking too much of yourself. This beast is not meant to be conquered in a single sitting; And yet, to consume it further after allowing it to marinate in its own repulsive syrups is to subject oneself to a culinary death the likes of which cannot be imagined without prior experience of it. This beast is truly unfit for the consumption of a being that is not yet heavily intoxicated through cannabis consumption. In other words, 5/5.

This is a family orientated restaurant for sure. Whether I place an order online or simply come in the Chico Location, their staff is amazing, so nice and friendly. We love this Chico KFC!

KFC has a great deal when you purchase the $20 fill up. We got 8 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and 4 biscuits. The chicken was hot and fresh, but I wish that biscuits were a little bigger. They keep getting smaller and smaller.

I like to eat. I spend plenty at the grocery store. And im not into fat free or bland food. I love salt. KFC has the most deliscious POT PIES. And right now they happen to be on sale! So for $5 (seriously) you get a large pot pie with a crust so flakey that it crackles when you stick your fork in it!!

I have always loved KFC. Never had a bad experience ever. But I truly wish they would bring back their Chicken Littles from the 80s and 90s .

I'm changing my review from 2 years ago from one star to five because they have gotten so much better at this KFC I am very happy to see that they have good chicken now!

Went through drive thru on a Friday night, long line, but it went way faster than the fast food around it. Got my order fast and it was delicious, exactly what I went there for. I ordered slightly too much but that means I have yummy leftovers!

We have visited many KFC locations but this branch in Chico has done a fabulous service. Food was well cooked and delicious. Order was quick and well served. Staffs are polite and friendly. Fresh and well prepared food. Kudos to the branch team.

Place itself is very 90s, has not been updated. Food is fast as good though, often have gotten more chicken than I ordered.

The 3 piece tenders box had a great selection of food inside, just the presentation was a little off. I guess it doesnt matter if you're hungry enough but it looks like they just threw the food in there.

I love their chicken pot pies and the fact that they are one of very few fast food places that still serve Pepsi. I only WISH that there were one in Red Bluff so that I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Chico.

I've had some very disappointing experiences at KFC but the one I visited in Chico California was not one of them. The food was not too greasy, (which can be a problem at KFC) it was clean and the staff was friendly. Reccomend.

Not in the Rancho Cordova area, thankfully! At the Chico,CA. mall. It was clean. Had good, quick service and the Chicken, Biscuits and Cold Slaw were delicious! Absolutely will go again.

Kinda spendy. I keep finding gristle in my chicken littles... the "fries" were kinda warm... The pot pies and chicken bowls are yummy!

The food was delicious! I was impressed with how fast it was done and ready to be given to us. I will say, the customer service is extremely lacking. They seemed annoyed and impatient while taking our order. I highly recommend the famous bowl!

There was a miscommunication on my drive thru order tonight, the cashier called for a change in it, guy who took the order had abit of and attitude, but another guy came over and corrected it for me. I appreciate all you guys do, I understand the frustration with customers too. Thank you for correcting it . I will use online for now on so there will be no mistakes .

KFC holds it's own reputation so not much to say. Food is good and gets to you fairly quick. This location is the only one close to me in any direction so don't have much to base anything else on.

Got a flyer in the mail so I decided to get some KFC today. I ordered the 8 piece meal with the original chicken. They told me at the window I had to wait 17 minutes one of there fryers was not working. Well 25 minutes later she came out and said it would be an additional 10 minutes and that she would add more chicken and an extra side. When I got home and opened the chicken it is red in color but didn't smell burnt. I tried it and it wasn't bad but it wasn't original. This was my favorite place to eat. And by the way I was the only one there.

When getti g chicken from a known chicken chain I expect it not to be dry especially when spending over $60. Dry tenders all day long.

You should have them honor people's Birthdays I am 84 today and about 20 of us went there to celebrate my Birthday. They did nothing for it. Most places do something for anybody' s Birthday.

We do not have a KFC in Red Bluff. I was going to Chico for a series of medical appts and brought home sone KFC for housemate and I. After not having KFC anything for over a year, we could not wait to enjoy it. It was "ok". But will try them again next time in town.

I am not going to go into a big detailed bashing of any business. But I walked in there to pick up a to-go order and was treated like dirt. I was well-dressed, on my way home from work ordered something before I clocked out and went there to pick it up and when I got there they were rude, they seemed like I was inconveniencing them by being there during a busy time to pick up my food. It was just unfortunate. And on top of that the food was actually pretty horrible. I know you get what you pay for so it should not be a surprise how it tasted. But I was just super disappointed. I will probably go back and understand that it could have been a fluke, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth

Not as good as when I was in high school 30yrs ago. The feeling of homemade handmade goodness has been replaced with already processed chicken tender type items. I honestly loved the $0.50 chicken littles from way back then. Nuthin to them. Slider bun, one small flat square breaded deep fried chicken patty and one small glob of mayo. But boy they were good. Wish they would bring those back.

Upon arrival I was greeted as if I was being rushed to place my order by employee Sierra . I placed my order & my girlfriend had a special request for her order & upon receiving her food her needs were not met .. it was such a simple request so I don’t understand but besides that her overall attitude is just rude & hopefully she doesn’t have that attitude moving forward . Hopefully this review reaches her & she can be more professional

The chicken was tasty and crispy, but the wait felt longer than it should have been for fast food. Some items were missing from the order, which took away from the experience. Not bad, just a bit inconsistent this time.

Cashier was an angry little liar. Kept insisting the deal from the commercials AND THE APP SET TO THEIR LOCATION were not prices or amounts she was able to ring up or scan. Told me the jalapeno add-on was breaded poppers even though what they gave me were those mushy pickled monstrosities. Also: $80 for a 20-piece and 4 large sides?!?!? No thank you, and never again. This visit to this KFC has assured that I will be taking all my chicken purchases in any city over to Popeye's. Buh-bye-yeeeeeeee!!!

Food was edible but kinda sad. Everything except the chicken is premade prepackaged and just heated up. The instant mashed potatoes are gross, the macaroni and cheese is a tasteless glob of goo, the biscuits are just nasty. The inside of the place is dismal and depressing.

Staff is extremely rude. They wont accept their coupons. Night manager is horrible. Why she is a manager is beyond me. Has no social skills what so ever.They certainly don’t care about customers.

The lobby is only open till 9 pm but drive threw is open till 10 pm. How are you supposed to order if you didn't arrive in a car? Plus even if I did arrive in a car, I still would like to sit down and eat inside...

When did chicken equal the price of steak? I went to KFC for lunch because I was ill and didn't want to cook. $28 later for 8 pieces and a large mashed potato bowl!!?? Honestly, I have not been at a KFC in years, now I remember why. Mashed potatoes are tasteless, and the gravy was brown and watery? The chicken was cooked fine, and I was satisfied with the several snacks it gave me. America should be able to provide more affordable chicken dinners, but our U.S. dollar is being beaten to death, and buys a lot less.

The gal working the drive thru was rude and seemed unhappy to be working . Ordered a lot of food including 6 chicken little sandwiches with no mayonnaise and 5 seemed to have extra mayo and one without. Pretty much a bad experience all around. Unfortunate that a once great brand could go so far down hill.

Quality of service has been steadily dropping with this latest batch of college employee's. If they spent more time putting a order together correctly the first time instead of chatting with each other I wouldn't have to wait 10 to 15min to get my order or to find out after I left that they gave me the wrong order, which they have done the past several times I've stopped there.

Not sure where they find such small chickens. Rarely eat here ever! I remember the taste, didn’t remember how greasy it was. But it was the background music that the owners should take a listen to. Way, too loud to try and enjoy a meal with.

They get the order wrong or forget something about half the time. I understand this is not the restaurant’s fault and it’s so hard to find good employees anymore, just be sure to check your bag before leaving. It is the best fast food chicken place in Chico though.

I would be surprised if these employees dressed themselves for work. All that is open is a drive thru and they cannot handle that. They will have you park your car in thier parking lot for 20 minutes with 7 other cars, to only bring you food that does NOT come close to what you ordered! Apparently the Drive Thru there is meant to be a park and wait your entire lunch hour kind of establishment??

It was my first time I went to KFC today. I ordered Nashville hot chicken wings and when I started eating they were all black and disgusting from inside. I had very bad experience there. I will never be going there again.

The drive-through is decent, but the lobby looks unclean and the service, unhappy. Just decided to not go to this particular one anymore, because a customer was changing her child's diaper right behind me as I was eating. Not a pleasant experience to say the least

Was literally the most disgusting chicken I've ever eaten in my life. I swear it was made with latex gloves it was crazy rubbery! Sides were fine but I could have gotten more for cheaper somewhere else. On top of all that it made the entire family sick! We wanted nostalgia from KFC but instead will never ever go back to another KFC again!

I ordered one order of the chicken tender meal with a side of cole slaw. How hard can it be to get it right?? Evidently very hard. Got home, no mash and gravy that COMES with the meal! Ugh! I don’t get fast food often. So frustrating and disappointing.

This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever had from KFC, they would not honor the coupon I had because they didn't have the chicken for it...cost $42 for a bucket with sides and a drink instead of $30, the chicken was dry and over cooked and I threw it away. The chicken was dark like they haven't changed the fry oil in months.

We haven't been to KFC in years. This is our last time. We spent nearly $80. Sides were terrible, to say the chicken was mediocre is a compliment. And then to top it off, they shorted is our $7 dessert. I used to love KFC, but it has gone way down hill.

I placed a $44 order, I live an hour and a half north east of Chico up in the mountains and placed a mobile order, and then went to pick it up while I was in Chico running errands. I had two bags and one drink and a receipt on each bag with my order on it. I got all the way home and my kids dinner was not in the bag! They shorted me a four piece meal, which was most of my order. Completely ridiculous when you have one job to do and it is to prepare someone’s order!

KFC app said my order was ready to be picked up, went to pick it up and the lady said it wasn’t ready. Didn’t seem like she actually really looked either. I had been going there previously recently because of the consistency but looks like it’s gonna go downhill if a food place says your order is ready and actually isn’t.

Food was cold and order incorrect. Not sure why that specific location doesn't offer spicy strips. Strips have been lowered in quality and no longer seem to be chucks of chicken. More like frozen planks with a chemical after taste

Simple order... 2 piece white meat, coleslaw, skip the biscuit. 10 minute wait at the counter... Handed me two piece, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit. Will never go there again. They refunded my money on the spot, as they did the woman in line in front of me who was tired of waiting for her order. There were only three people and three cars in line.

Customer service was horrible. They rushed you through the drive-through with nobody in line. Plus they forget eating utensils every time and the chicken taste great surprise him or how greasy it is but the employees on Night Shift seriously needs to get their act together. If you don’t like your job, why work there you should treat your customers they give you a paycheck with service that you would like from somewhere you like to eat. I hope the manager sees this message maybe you should have a meeting with your employees may be paid them greater so they can appreciate their job so they can keep customers happy tonight August 28, 2023 was probably the worst service I had from KFC ever
