a couple seats but more or less take out only as of August 2024. As a california transplant I have been consistently dissapointed by the Mexican food I have found in London. Los Compadres is not one of those places; their burritos are great, the food is affordable, and the service is quick.

I had vegan taco and I can say that it is the best vegan savoury food I've had in this street. It is made of the veggies of the day and it's delicious. The sauces are incredible. High quality food. Friendly people, great service.

Los Compadres is a new gem in town! I had a beef taco which was extremely flavorful, packed with rich and savory ingredients. The customer service was excellent, making the experience even more enjoyable. My friend also had tacos and was just as obsessed. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to others!

Saw this New Mexican spot whilst running errands. Decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by both the customer service and quality of food. I tried the tacos and hibiscus drink and both had amazing flavour. I will definitely be visiting again with friends, if you’re in the area I highly recommend you give it a try.

I visited Los Compadres last weekend and ordered a burrito with a side of nachos. The burrito was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that blended perfectly together. Small Mexican on church street with really good food. We had the beef burrito which was great and will definitely be back to try the chicken (as they had run out by the time we got there!) The ingredients were all super fresh and the pineapple salsa was a highlight.

First time coming here and won't be the last. I had 3 beef tacos and I can tell you it was one of the best I've ever had. Super super friendly staff and very good prices especially for church street. Food is filling but doesnt leave you feeling sluggish afterwards. Will be a regular here from now on :)

Incredible place, with top tier staff and amazing food. Couldn’t recommend the beef burrito more, or the chicken tacos, with a little dash of pineapple. Have been coming here since it opened and will continue to return.

Delicious Tacos I am a vegetarian and I got one halloumi and two veg tacos every single one was sooo yummy and the toppings and sizes were very generous. Such a lovely Chef making the food, so friendly and very clean kitchen. Can't wait to go back for more! highly recommend!

Love this place, really chunky and flavourful burritos, the beef and chicken options are equally delicious. Nachos and fresh lime are a nice touch. A great addition to Church Street, has become my regular weekday lunch spot when I need a quick and filling option on a busy day. Lovely owner too, doing a great job and keeping prices reasonable for high quality ingredients.

I have not had many burritos in my life because I have found them disappointingly processed (insert names of chains) Well this was something else! The chicken burrito was light, moist, packed full of flavour, do add guacamole. The pineapple chunks set it alight! Every mouthful was amazing. The home made lime cucumber drink deliciously rinsed it all done very well.

Really nice folks running the business! I’m always excited to see a Mexican spot open as they’re sorely lacking in London. That being said, the tacos were pretty average with both the chicken and the beef being a bit cold, wet and lacking in that true Mexican flavor! Given they’ve just opened this could improve over time and am willing to try again.

Great staff. Nice and polite. Tacos were ok. Nothing wrong with them just nothing really blows you away. I had 1 chicken and 1 beef had to pay extra for guacamole. The pink watermelon jarrito drink was really nice. I ate the tacos almost immediately after getting them but they was fairly wet and just all fell apart.

Not sure if most of these reviews are your mates or people in the neighborhood have no idea what good Mexican taste like? Not authentic, extremely simple menu. Mediocre flavor. Good luck to these guys but if you want real Mexican walk another 10 minutes to Sonora Taqueria and you will be amazed! But if you want cheap quick 'Mexican' this could work.

Great service but these tacos aren’t really tacos, sorry to say. Less is more and not all toppings work with all meats / veggies options. I really want this place to work and it could, it just needs tweaking the recipes.

New Mexican joint opens, I go to test it out. Honest review: Had the chicken al pastor and it was super watery. The tortilla didn't really feel like a tortilla, more like a pancake 😅. It maybe touched the grill for a second so was way too flimsy. The filling definitely came from a jar. If you're looking for authentic mexican -- go elsewhere unfort.

This place was great when it opened but has gone downhill. Burrito bowl I had was 90% rice, half full, no beans, really disappointing.

Food is very very expensive. Went in tried the food this week as live few minutes away. Overpriced for tiny baby size portion. Not worth paying for. I ordered burrito cost£4 it was ridiculously tiny baby size. Very disappointed. Good customer service otherwise but advice is to lower price a lot more and bigger portions

I ordered chicken tacos with seasonal veg, but the chicken was missing! Shocking. Also, the taco was soggy and impossible to eat.

I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The lady that was making my Burrito messed up my order. She refused to correct her mistakes and had a bad attitude. I was very disappointed and couldn’t eat my meal.

Let me preface this by saying that I’m Mexican and I have lived in London for 8 years now. I have seen the London taco scene really come around and up their game. These tacos however are appalling. I ordered 2 tacos to try them out on corn tortillas and they were just sad. First mistake was not heating up the corn tortillas properly, which really messed up the flavor and texture, they were pretty much straight out of the fridge and warmed for 10 seconds. The filling was decent flavor but super watery which just made the cold tortilla break, then I was asked what random toppings I would like, which could maybe work well for a burrito (sour cream, cold cheese, corn?, pineapple?) but just goes to show these are not made with care or much thought. However if you put these fillings in a burrito it might scratch the itch but I will not be taking the risk. You can’t mask a bad taco. I wanted to like it, but I was sorely disappointed. Go to Sonora Taqueria down the street instead where the owner is actually Mexican and is there every day making sure the food is actually good.
