Unfortunately, the recipes of yesteryear are being lost, giving way to overly commercial bread with poor-quality ingredients and, above all, too much sugar. For a quick fix, it's recommended. And what can I say about the rotisserie area? On two occasions, my chicken came out raw.

This year's rosca was awful. I bought the chocolate slab one with dried butter, it's not fresh at all, it looks like it's 3 days old. I threw my money away, what a shame, they used to be good.

Terrible organization. I went through a line for a rosca that already had a label and barcode, but they couldn't ring it up at the register. It turned out I had to get in line first with the cashier to get a ticket and then go to the register. The line was endless because so many people were buying rolls and their daily bread, and it was absurd because I had a rosca that already had its barcode.

Terrible service. I said "good afternoon" to the cashier, and she didn't even look at me. She took my receipt, rang up my payment very reluctantly, even with a disgusted expression, and took my money with the same attitude. As I was leaving, I said "thank you," and without looking at me, she started chatting with another guy who also works there. They only had one girl working, and everyone else was chatting, even when there was a line. They were all rude and disrespectful; they wouldn't even look at you. This branch is disgusting.

I visited that branch two weeks ago and the service was terrible. The staff at the counter were very rude, and there was no one in charge to take a complaint. Apparently, complaints were received by the cashier at the exit, who heard them but completely ignored them. Other customers were also trying to report the poor service because it was widespread.

I placed an order on the La Esperanza app, it was delivered to my work, the delivery person already had it with the strawberry on it, and I said, "Okay, no problem, I need the cake to celebrate my mom, the strawberry will fit." But, oh surprise, the birthday girl took the cake, not just for our arrival, but because the cake was chocolate and syrup with strawberries, and she doesn't like it. A few days later, I called customer service to tell them what happened, and they told me why I didn't report it within 24 hours so they could exchange it! The cake wasn't even whole and the party was over! And if I ordered it online, it's because it wouldn't arrive when I got off work because the cake I ordered wouldn't arrive on time, and by the time the party was over that night, the branch was obviously already closed... Not even an apology for their mistake, and they tell me: "If it's been more than 24 hours, then sorry! We can't exchange it anymore!" When my complaint is about something they did wrong... Regardless of whether I contacted them before or after 24 hours! Seriously, is that your way of solving the problem? If you talk during that time, we'll change it! When the party's already over? Wow... Why do I want the right cake anymore?

Terrible customer service. My sister bought a cake online to celebrate our mom's birthday, and she explicitly told us not to have a chocolate cake. That was the only thing my mom asked for. My sister ordered the cake online for work and picked it up. To our surprise, when we cut it after singing "Las Mañanitas" (Birthday Song), it was chocolate. It was mislabeled. But we decided to continue the celebration since the bakery was already closed. When we complained about the mistake they made, with photos and the order, all they told us was that they couldn't do anything because it had been 24 hours and because we no longer had the cake. What did they expect us to avoid celebrating our mom because of their mistake? Terrible service. Whether it had been two hours or 24 hours, or more or less, they made a mistake and only said they needed the cake and that the complaint should have been made sooner. NEVER BUY ONLINE, and if you complain, do it right away. What a disappointment! They don't face up to their mistakes like a serious company.

The bread is excellent, fresh, and of high quality. Unfortunately, the customer service leaves much to be desired: unfriendly at the checkout and unwilling to help. One time, we arrived at 9:02 p.m. and they didn't serve us. And the other day, they charged me extra for something I didn't have. A bittersweet experience.

Don't buy the grape cake unless you have the bad experience of having absolutely no base at all!!! Nothing but grapes... 😑 There's no consistency in quality and price.
