Y tienen excelente sabor y frescura.
I love their food, their service is very good, although sometimes it can be slow, but it's worth it; their flavor and their tacos are always a good choice.
I was really craving seafood in the area and saw some great reviews, so we decided to go to Mariscos Chilos TJ. The food features seafood dishes from Baja California, Sonora, Sinaloa, and Nayarit. The waitstaff's service is incredible, the drinks delicious, and the food truly exquisite. The seafood tacos and tostadas are plentiful, with excellent flavor and seasoning.
A delight! There's no doubt that northern seafood has made its way to the center of the country, and Chilos proves it. My first visit and I had an excellent impression, from the entrance (which gets crowded and you have to get there early), to the service of the waiters, and the flavor of the food. If you're looking for simple seafood with a flavor from the center and south, stay away! I don't know if the person who busses tables is the owner or the manager, but they're always there to ensure impeccable service. I went on a Sunday, and there was even a singer. I'll definitely be back, and with friends!
I haven't even left the place yet, and I'm already very satisfied. I've been treated very well, the food is delicious, and most of the menu is affordable, unless you order something more expensive and elaborate like lobster or other dishes. However, if you come to eat well and have a few drinks, it's very good and reasonably priced, with excellent service from Adrián, Paola, Rafa, and David, who provide excellent service.
The food is delicious. Customer service is good; they make an effort to be attentive to the diners. The '5 y 10' and 'tacotillo' tacos aren't for everyone; they're for true spice lovers. The WhatsApp taco looks like it's going to be very spicy, but it's not—it's delicious. The Yankee taco, the Gober, and the Algo Bien are delicious! The Garrita JR tostada and Ricky's Tower are new and very tasty. Their sparkling orange soda is good; it's not artificial—they actually use real oranges. Their tres leches cake is delicious.
The food is delicious (everything is delicious). The service is excellent. (The chef seems rude, but he's a good person.) * The only thing worth mentioning is that the shrimp cocktail isn't sweet (ketchup) like we're used to in Mexico City; it's more acidic, like ceviche, so you don't get scared off. (But it's still very good.)
Excellent seafood place to go with family, friends, or as a couple. Food options for many tastes. The tacos are delicious, but the camaracha shrimp are spectacular, and the salada negra is dreamy. The beers are cold and well-prepared. The price-quality ratio is truly fantastic.
They're good, brought from Baja California to Gustavo Baz, with good ambient music, and the beer was very cold... ice cold, that is! As good as it gets. We ordered aguachile negro for a change, and it was really good, although I thought it was a bit undercooked; it came in a molcajete (a small mortar and pestle). I also ordered a fish ceviche tostada, and it fell short; it felt like something was missing. I'd go back to try more. Ahhh, the red and green salsas are delicious!
It's a very small place with only a couple of tables, maybe 6. Another couple of lounge chairs aren't the most comfortable, and they don't even accommodate more than 3 people. The food is quite delicious. I would recommend... shaved clams, a taco gober, cockroach shrimp, and a beach tostada. You can try barley water, which not many places offer. The seafood is prepared Sinaloa-style. That is, the shrimp cocktail isn't the typical one with ketchup; it's served hot, and everything has a lot of cucumber. The portions are good-sized. They don't have parking. They're closed on Mondays, and their prices are reasonable. I hope they find a bigger place soon; I see them being successful. They've only been operating for a year. Oh, for dessert, the plantain tart with a delicious mother of pearl.
I visited this place a while ago, and it was in a small corner where the birria is now. I thought it was good at the time, but I came back. It's a few steps away from where it was, but now it's more spacious. The food is good and has good flavor. What I didn't like is that the waiter offers you dishes because the menu isn't updated and is in poor condition. The waiter indicated that the portions are too large to share, but I asked about the price and weight of the suggestions, information he had to verify. I ordered fish fillet in gratin pepper sauce with a side of rice and steamed vegetables and two flour tortillas to accompany it, which they charged me an additional $30. There are flavored waters, but they're bottled like the business's own waters. I ordered guava with mango, but I think it was guava with strawberry. The label didn't say what type of fruit it contained... Young service staff are good and friendly, but their lack of experience is evident.
Guided by the 4.7-star ratings, we arrived at this restaurant. Starting with a mezcalita that didn't have ice or a frappe; it tasted like water, and the red fruits were practically nonexistent. We ordered octopus and shrimp, both served charred and oversalted, as seen in the picture, and the rice was absolutely awful. The price, quality, and flavor are terrible. A place I won't return to.
It definitely has a "different" flavor than what we're used to in central Mexico, as they bring the dishes with the flavor of the Pacific. Personally, I thought it was good, but not spectacular; some dishes were very spicy and had too much onion. The service was good. The owner asks if everything is okay and is attentive to details. The dishes are well served, although since they're freshly prepared, you'll need to be a little patient.
