Great place if you are looking for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex fare. Sis and I ate here. The enchiladas are great.. beans and rice too. The best was the gordita great flavor it was yummy!! The tortillas are really good too but you have to ask for them. Check this place out you will not be disappointed!!
A great little place to get food homemade to order. The owner Terry is fantastic and knows her regulars by name. Highly recommend checking it out. I got the beef fajita chimichanga and shredded chicken chili relleno. I got mine covered in queso. Was delicious. The salsa is really good and has a good heat to it. Come support a local business.

Great food, fairly priced, served by friendly staff. You need to try this small in space, full in menu restaurant. If ambiance is what you're looking for, this may not be your first choice as the dining room is a modest size. For old-timers you might appreciate that it is reminiscent of the owner's father's original Barrera's a little further south on N. Main. I'm glad they've moved to our end of town. Enjoy!
Very friendly and helpful. Food was great. We did not eat inside , took it to go, but they had 2 tv playing different shows.
I came to visit this restaurant for the first time, the service was great! Prices were reasonable. The waitress was very nice. The owners were nice as well. The food was very Good! I recommend if y’all are in town or come across. I hope it goes well for them!
Cheeseburger at this Tex-mex place is excellent and the fries are seasoned perfectly. The tortas are big and yummy and they come with a super spicy green and red salsa that is great for dipping fries in as well. Chicken fried steak and sandwich are crispy and light. Low key ambiance.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. We dine-in or order take-out from here often. I haven't tried anything that wasn't delicious. The salsa is terrific, the owners and employees are wonderful. Last night I tried a fajita chicken chimichanga with sour cream sauce, and it might be my favorite dish yet. That sauce is so good, I want to work in the kitchen so I can learn how to make it! The Hamburguesa Mexicana is really, really good, but I only order it if I'm very hungry because it's big!

I finally stopped in and tried them out . And I'm glad I did. I got the shrimp 🦐 cocktail and he cooked the shrimp to perfection and had the street tacos to Excellent 👌🏼💯. Nice and clean hidden gem . good music and A TV definitely my go to spot for MEXICAN FOOD in CLEBURNE.
A friend of mine and I stopped by San Miguel Mexican Restaurant for lunch. We both had the chili relleno plate. Mine was delicious. The service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. This restaurant is little and out of the way. It is a good restaurant. If you're in the neighborhood of Cleburne, Texas, I highly recommend this place.

The fajita serving size was my main issue , the salsa tasted like beer, or it had gone bad, and the rice was watery and had no flavor. I paid about $18 for everything I was hoping for better quality and quantity.

My street tacos were tasty and the green sauce has great flavor. My husband liked his chimi as well.
This is a small family run business with very good, consistanly prepared food. The atmosphere reminds me of my time in South America. Very small - modest interior. Much like someone set up folding tables and chairs for a family gathering. I recommend you try it!

It's was better than most all of the mexican restaurants in Joshua, except for Burrito Loco of course. 🌯 The food was good, their Barbaco and frijoles a la Chara are the best food items that I have tried up to date. The burritos, chips and salsa were just ok. The red fire sauce in the little plastic containers is absolutely phenomenal! The best I have ever had in Texas. The green sauce is good and not over powering. Service was good until I ordered something to go and my waitress turned into a puffy McPufferson. I felt like I was intruding on her time, and had become a burden. It was ok over all. I'll definitely be back for the beans and Hot sauce.
