The pizza here is absolutely amazing!! It always wanting to come back for more! Place could use some updating, booths are worn out and dated.
Crust great, red sauce great, cheese pizza great with that foundation it only gets better. My wife can't visit cold spring without at least one meal here. Quick and friendly service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A Culinary Revelation! Coldspring Pizza in picturesque Coldspring, New York, is a true gastronomic gem! From the moment we stepped into this charming mountain town, we were transported to pizza paradise. The pizzas? Simply divine. The sandwiches? Mouthwatering. And don't even get me started on the focaccia bread – it's pure bliss! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience beyond NYC, look no further than Coldspring Pizza. Five stars doesn't do it justice! 🍕🌟
Great place, very good service, yummy pizza from a small hard working American business. We took 3 kinds of Pizza ( veggie, Eggplant and cheese) and Spaghetti. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Very good pizza. 55 miles away from the city, you'd be surprised how good their slices are. It can get crowded on the weekends. There is also seating outside on warmer days.
I frequent this place in the summer with my friends. This is a highly valued business and locals /tourists both can appreciate a good slice. He even sang happy birthday for my friend! Truly passionate about their pizza and such amazing service
I love Cold Spring Pizza forever! I've been getting pizza here for 30 years. There have been a few owner changes along the way, but they have ALWAYS cranked out delicious pizzas!
This place has been here since 1972, and is a must for some of the best pizza you have had. Simple slices, nice thin crust, and tasty sauce, brings you back to the simplicity of old school pizza places.
OK. Went to check out because of tic tok! Absolutely the best pizza in New York!!! Unfortunately they are not close to me. But I will absolutely make the trek to get the best pizza I have ever tasted since I was a kid. See you guys next week 💕
Wow! Great find! The specialty pizzas - garlic & marinara or eggplant & ricotta - are the way to go. We grabbed those and a half mushroom pie that was also delicious, but on return visits we will load up on the house pies! Knock it back with a couple of cold Stewart's sodas.
I just had an awesome slice of pizza! I am hard to please, and I have to say it was damn good. The owner was super nice also.
Awesome find me. One of the best pizza I ever had. Specially the sisilian pie.
I was in Cold Springs with a bus tour and was getting hungry. Thinking let me check out the pizza joint thinking I was not gonna get if bc I only like thin crust. I saw this amazing looking sweet Chile chicken pizza. Let me tell you it was one of the best pizzas I ever had. Believe me and we have a pizza place on every single corner in Staten Island and it was only 4 dollars per slice.
People friendly place, fast service and good pizza. This place also sales ice cream (even in November) and they have a bathroom for the customers. Anyone, who visited Cold Spring NY, understands the importance of it. Other businesses are NOT so customer friendly.
Classic village pizza shop! Could not ask for anything more. Pizza is great and the service is even better. Perfect place to bring kids. Secret sneaky menu item.. whatever soup they have bubbling that day. Other pizza shops come and go, but there is only one Cold Spring Pizza.
Wondered in here after doing a hike and was blown away. The pizza was fantastic. Some of the best I’ve had… and staff so nice. Will certainly be back every time I’m in town
Stopped in while working and incredibly quick and friendly service, got a margarita slice and plain, the margarita slice had a fresh taste to it. Fresh basil fresh everything. Dough wasn’t to thin wasn’t to thick damn near perfect amount of chew to it. Plain was awesome as expected. Very friendly workers!
A mighty fine slice of pizza from this Cold Spring gem. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The finest ingredients were used you could tell. The pizza was not oily. The crust had the perfect crisp to it. Will definitely go back next time the family and I visit.
This place is great. The margarita pizza is the best: thin crispy crust, delicious sauce, and the perfect amount of cheese. I think this pizza beats anything in my old neighborhood in NYC. The folks behind the counter are friendly, prompt and glad that you came.
always an awesome time here. chill atmosphere, I know most people there, and their Margherita is the 2nd best I've had. Reasonable prices but make sure to bring cash. They got Canadian coke too 😁
Best pizza place in Cold Spring, I've visited here a million time's and they never disappoint. It's cool that they have an Italian deli connected to it which serves beer that you can bring over to the pizza place and drink while your having your food. Definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area.
The pizza here is so DELISH! I stop by after I go kayaking and get a slice of their grandma pizza - highly recommend! Quite frankly, I'm not sure anymore if I go to Cold Spring for the kayaking or the pizza - either way, it's a win-win! Special thank you to Tom who confirmed tonight that someone found my missing turquoise wireless earbuds on their ATM machine. (Can't wait to retrieve them). Great group of guys working here and delicious pizza. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood!
Super tasty pies here! And the staff is great.
It has an amazing small-town America location. The pizza was great. Just what you would expect if you went down to the city. Staff are friendly. It's all-round great experience, really. I'd recommend it if your nearby.
The pizza I order is ALWAYS Fantastic! The owner Mike, is always very welcoming when I place my order. Cold Spring Pizza is a Family place. Families come here with their children. And children have come here on their own, because the parents know that this is a safe place. Another nice feature to this restaurant is that they have 3 or 4 tables in front, of the shop, so you can enjoy Spring, Summer, and a breathtaking Autumn, while enjoying your meal. Congratulations to Cold Spring Pizza, as they have been voted "Best Pizza in New York" by New York Magazine ! ;-)
Amazing NY style pizza! *Best I've had* (my friend made me write this) but she's right - it's pretty darn good!!! Tomato sauce is the best, it tastes fresh. Stop by for a slice or a whole pie, they have comfy booths for you to enjoy :)
CSP is my go-to pizzeria (even better cuz it’s family owned). The chicken bacon ranch pizza, the margarita pizza, the vodka pizza…just a few of my favorites 😍 the pinwheels always hit the spot. Not to mention the chicken Caesar wrap…perfection. Highly recommend this place!
I'm a pizza 🍕 lover. Anytime I'm in Cold Springs, I make my way there. Any excuse. They have a thin sliced perfectly cooked, awesome crust slice, Ice cream and a huge variety of beverages. If your in cold springs make your way over. YOU'LL THANK ME
Pizzas very fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.
In a hidden route to NYC, this little village is a small treasure. And in the middle of its Main St you can find a nice pizza shop. Good food, kind attention and full of local people. Nice place to get something to eat.
Hands down the best pizzeria. Pizza is delicious, all the food was outstanding, even had a garlic knot sandwhich that was to die for! Between the staff & the atmosphere I highly Recommend. I drive about 25 minutes to have their pizza & I pass about 10 pizza places on my way! That’s how amazing the quality is!
I wish I lived closer! I had the eggplant pesto roll and walked to the river to enjoy. The food was so good I had to stop back to bring something home! Thank you for the excellent customer service. I will definitely stop again when I'm in the area.
First stop when we got to Cold Spring and what a welcome! The pizza was fresh and hot. My partner was excited that the chicken teriyaki pizza was an option and he very much enjoyed it. Oh and the garlic knots with the cup of marinara were so delicious. Great flavor and wonderful atmosphere!
Wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! The tomato garlic slice and pepperoni pinwheels are to die for. I travel an hour from the Bronx just to get both! The staff is super friendly too (shoutout to Angelo).
Great slice. The vodka and ricotta slice is fire, my wife said it was the best slice she ever had. Outside seating was great. Great people working here too!
Stopped by Cold Spring for some hiking. Found this pizza shop nearby. Absolutely excellent. Better than any local pizza I have ever tasted. I would recommend anyone in the area to stop by!
When you say "atmosphere" for a pizza joint, this place is pretty much textbook. Obviously a family run operation, I got great vibes from the (father/son/cousin?) pair running the pizza oven and counter. I tried three slices and gotta say on two of them it was knocked outta the park. Unfortunately the third had probably been on par too long and topping was a bit tough - but the others more than made up for it. Lots of regulars and returning customers during lunch. This is a fun family friendly pizza place. Definitely worth trying anything they say is good or fresh.
Great pizza. Really loved it
This is not the cold spring pizza I remember 20 years ago. This guy makes beautiful pies excellent cheese sauce ratio. Krispy crust at a good thinness. It's a good solid New York slice of pizza. Can't wait to go back.
I’ve been lucky enough to live just a few doors away from this pizzeria for about two years now. The pizza is stellar, like the greatest that NYC might offer, the customer service is amazing and friendly. I genuinely enjoy popping in just to see everyone even if it’s not time for a meal. Funny thing though, they do some of the greatest wings I’ve ever had. I made a special request to turn up the heat tonight and WOW did they deliver. Absolutely 10/10 recommend stopping in if you’re in the area, or here for a day trip. You won’t be disappointed!
Oh good GOD!! My taste buds are in shock. Flavor, flavor, flavor! Hospitality? Was incredible. Mike, the owner, It was great having a good time with you at the table talking about your story and above all my favorite conversation: cuisine. When I return to Texas I will definitely share my visit with you and Cold Spring pizza. meraviglioso, buon tempo, buon cibo, e molte benedizioni!! tutto il meglio! Ciao
The margarita is the bomb. Highly suggest making the stop, great food, great service, and great people. Made me feel at home.
After another massive hike I was desperate for a cold beer and some hearty Italian food. To my surprise they stocked a good selection of beers as well as fizzy drinks. Their prices are decent and their portions are huge! I believe they are also connected to the ice cream shop next door. We’ll be back!
Amazing pizza. It’s must if you’re ever in the area.
Their chick-fil-a pizza is AMAZING! Though it’s packed with calories but I will burn them off on my way up the trails, lol. It’s like having Nathan’s french fries with bacons and cheese, and add chicken cutlet on it, but even better! My favorite slice this year! And they make their own sauce in house, that’s another plus. And friendly service, ordered a slice of ricotta cheese with eggplant as well, total was $10. Nice price for all that food.
Delicious. Best slice while visiting NY. People working there were really friendly and even shared a few secrets about their pizza. Lovely town. Enjoyed sitting outside with our food. Would definitely return.
Vacationing in the area, and came in on New Year’s Day for a couple slices and loved it so much, we came back for a whole pie a few hours later. These guys definitely know what they’re doing! Absolutely LOVED it!! Angel even offered to make me a vegan pizza. It’s not on the menu, but the accommodation was very much appreciated!!
Stopped in after a late lunch at the Cold Spring Depot. Incredible vodka slice. Loads of thick mozzarella and an exceptional sauce with the perfect sweetness. They have double chocolate cookies that are warmed up in the oven too and were just as good as the pizza. Really good stuff at this place. Well worth a visit if in the area.
Traditional pizza restaurant. Lots of locals eating in and carrying out. I had a personal gluten free pizza. It was a thin crispy crust loaded with cheese. Yum. My group devoured a large cheese. I wish I wasn't gluten sensitive.
We absolutely loved this place! After a long 6-hour hike from Beacon to Cold Spring, we came here a bit late and the classic pies were already gone, so we tried a slice of Grandma Margherita Pizza and one Eggplant pizza. The Grandma Margherita was simply amazing – wow! The Eggplant slice is more for those who enjoy that flavor, but still interesting to try. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. This spot always feels like the right choice when we come to Cold Spring. After such a tough hike, that pizza was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended to everyone!
I stopped by this pizzeria on my visit to Cold Spring just this morning with my aunt and mom. We had a whole margarita pie and it was delicious!!!! The sauce on the pizza was to die for. The vibe inside is very old school, almost like it came out of a 90s movie from a small town. The service was great as well! My mom and aunt loved the pizza, and we even ended up bringing the extra slices to my dad and brother who both said it was excellent!! I definitely recommend them!!
5 stars all around! Just want to say thank you to the cashier for being patient with me. Honestly i was flabbergasted by the total price. Everything came out to less than $20, literally, with 2 drinks and all. I saw this place feautured on tiktok! Dragged bae here for a day out in cold spring. Came by for some grubs before a hike. Everything tasted so clean and was very fulfilling. Thank you for a great time.
I was with some friends in Cold Spring on Memorial Day. This is the only pizza place in town. The place was packed, the line was out the door, all booths were full. I guess everyone wanted a late lunch. The pizza was good, worth the wait. Will stop by again, next time I'm in town.
Great New York Pizza as well as other Italian dishes. The soft serve was not a hit, however. Overall a great place to go after hiking in the Hudson Highlands.
Good hot food, great service. Loved the chicken parm sandwich and the pizza slice was piping hot. Good prices, and big serving sizes. Great fries
We discovered this local pizza spot in Cold Spring and it was absolutely worth it. I was surprised by how much variety they offer in their menu. Ravioli in Alfredo sauce was just so amazing. Chicken parm sandwich was cheesy and equally good. I would love to go back here again to try other stuff on the menu.
Typical NY pizza, by no means is this best pizza though. But still a very satisfying slice with good sauce to cheese ratio and above average crust. This cheese slice will not blow you away but it will make you glad you got pizza for lunch.
Had a good cashback deal from my credit card and I ended up checking this place out. They have a good variety of slices. We got a vodka slice, chicken teriyaki slice, eggplant slice, and grandma slice. Total was close to $24 - that seems to be the norm around the area. Definitely tasty so I don't mind too much for me.
Good old pizza place in Cold Spring. Following our five and half hours hike up the Breakneck Ridge, amongst other loops, my friend and I were in need of a quick refuel before we catch the train back to NYC. Pizza seemed like the perfect food to have. The store is a 7-minute walk from the Cold Spring Metro North Station. The place has a classic design from the window, to the menu panel and seats inside. They have quite a vast amount of food choices too! Anything from pizza, seafood spaghetti, to soft served ice cream! I got the chicken, bacon, and chipotle sauce pizza. My friend got his with fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and what seems to be thinly sliced sausages. On top of it, we got the classic cheese pizza to share. The total came to $12 for 3 pizzas. Not sure if it applies now, but if you pay cash you can get a 3% discount, according to a sign written on the cash register. There is a seating area outside of the store. There is no indoor dining as of now yet due to the coronavirus. The pizzas were great! Thin crusts with the right amount of sauce and cheese so the bread remained crisp. They were flavorful yet not overwhelming. The only thing that I wasn't too crazy about was, as is expected with the majority of pizzas, there were a little bit of extra grease, which probably came from the bacon and cheese. Regardless they were still great pizzas! We savoured each bite that it only left us with just enough time to walk back and catch the train. Will definitely get more the next time we return.
We dropped by Cold Spring Pizza for a quick bite. We ordered a teriyaki slice and grandma spicy pepperoni pizza. The teriyaki slice was unique as it was doused with teriyaki sauce, but a little too sweet for our taste. The cubes of chicken breasts on top were also dry. The grandma pizza was nice and cheesy and topped with what I think is hot honey, giving it a nice hunt of sweetness! Overall, the crusts of both slices were warm and crispy ☺️ It should also be noted that you pay after you eat, at least that's what the staff told us!
I came here with a buddy of mine to feast after hiking through the Cornish Estate trail (definitely worth checking out). Normally when I visit a restaurant, I try things that are interesting and different. Looking through the variety of slices available, I asked the gentleman behind the counter to recommend me some slices. I ended up with a Margherita slice, a BBQ Pulled Pork slice, and the Eggplant Garlic Knot sandwich. My friend had gotten a pepperoni slice and the spicy pepperoni with hot honey (not pictured). I didn't get to try his slices, but he really liked the pepperoni slice. He enjoyed the spicy one as well, but he said it was a little too spicy and sweet for his taste. He did end up getting an additional pepperoni slice. I went for the BBQ slice first, and it was FANTASTIC! Literally perfect in every way. The margherita slice however was rather plain. It wasn't bad by any regard, but I thought it was going to be just as good as the BBQ slice. Perhaps my taste buds were all over the place from the first slice. The biggest surprise here was the Garlic Knot Sandwich however. To be honest I wasn't expecting to like it; I only got it for the sake of trying something different, but I'm glad I did. Of the three, this was my absolute favorite. The combination of the pesto with the balsamic glaze and eggplant melded so perfectly. The staff inside was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the accompanying ambiance was calm and relaxing. The interior was also very clean. Overall this place was absolutely fantastic. The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was the margherita slice I had. It wasn't bad, but I felt that it was lacking, especially in comparison to the other items I had. Definitely making the journey to come here again
Love, love their eggplant anything! And the shrimp pharm was amazing. I have to mention that it was cooked perfectly and not fishy . Just wonderful.
The freshly made pizza was good. The service seemed nice. The slices on the display didn’t look too fresh though. Thumbs down for the restroom cleanness.
Very busy pizza shop food was good and the prices were reasonable. We'll go back 🤗👌👍
It tastes fresh, the best thing about the pizza here is the crust and the dough, it's PERFECT! Flavor on the other hand...it matches their service, bland. Which is a shame because the ingredients are all there, just no flavor, but does have a flesh taste.
Very greasy pizza and I have no idea why the reviews are so great. I took the spicy chicken and barbecue chicken sandwiches. Barbecue was overly sweet and didn't taste good at all. I personally love barbecue so I took pork barbecue pizza too. Honestly, it was worse. Although the staff was very polite and welcoming.
Hmm they conveniently don't have prices listed on the big menu board, which I suspect is so that they can try to overcharge you and say oh sorry I meant x price if the price they give you seems excessive and you say something, which is what happened to me. asked for cheese with onions on personal size, said it was $15, so I just got it w/ no toppings for $9. also kinda crazy they said 1 slice was $6, which is why I just went with personal. frankly felt like they weren't happy w/ me after I questioned the price.. Mostly, the pizza was just overcooked; you could barely fold it! (but considering it was only $9, it wasn't bad)
I orders a pizza. Was told 30 minutes. Called after 45 to check in. Was told the driver was on his way and should be there shortly. Now after 1 hour and 10 minutes, I give him a call again. He tells me very rudely that the driver just left 10 minutes ago. So that being said, I stay only 15 minutes away from Cold Spring Pizza, meaning he should arrive any minute. 20 more minutes go by. A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes wait time when I was told 30 minutes initially. The owner offers me beer and to drink as a solution to the problem. I tell him I don't want that. He tells me he will give me a free pizza the next time. So when I call in the next time around (tonight) he tells me that "Your being a wise guy and your busting my chops, and I will never deliver pizza to Surprise Lake Camp." After that he hung up on me. I really love the pizza they serve. What an unfortunate and terrible experience for a place I enjoy.
They have credit card fee 3.5% without posting a sign. Section 518 of the General Business Law, which, in no uncertain terms, makes it illegal for merchants to charge extra if a customer wants to use a credit card. New York enacted section 518 in 1984, and although it was modeled on a federal law, it was just vague enough to pose problems, especially when it came to interpreting certain terms it contained. The transaction occurred before the regulation changed. Even if it is true, you are still in violation anyway. According to your response, I feel uncomfortable with your response. What’s a Shame
Ordered a gluten free pizza. Thin, soggy and tasted so disgusting. Left a horrible taste in the mouth for ages after.
I waited for two slices and garlic notes for 15 minutes I asked why they didn't put my pizza in and they said their wwre other orders..?? Once getting the pizza it was greasy with not much flavor and the garlic knots were burnt definitely skip this place during your visit to cold spring
The hell was the chicken so plain, it took 20 minutes for the chicken to come
