Shout out to TIFFANIE for being the greatest waitress ever! Love the personality and service!!! She handle our table very well and very attentive towards us. Offered us many different selections and options for the drink menu and was very patient with us deciding what food we should select.
Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day at work. The food was great! The best part was the service Amelia provided. She was friendly, attentive and made us feel at home. We will be back!!!
Great customer service! We had such a nice dinner experience. Huge thanks to Mark for going out of his way to make sure our little one felt included — that really meant a lot to us. We’ll definitely be back!
We had an excellent server tonight. Tiffanie was very attentive refilling ice teas and offering extra sauces. We appreciate friendly and attentive servers like her.
The pizookies were sweet and amazing, but our waiter Vanessa was sweeter! She was so funny and nice. I highly recommend the oreo and chocolate chunk flavors. Would definitely encourage coming!
We drove 45 minutes to come to this BJ’s. Food of course is great as always. But I’m totally impressed with Amelia’s super friendly service. This girl is a gem! Management please promote her asap. She will bring a lot of value to your company. Thank you Amelia, we will definitely come back here again. 😍
Honestly, I just love this place. I keep coming back not just for the pizza (which is always solid), but for the people. The staff is consistently friendly every single time I walk in. Even on the rare occasion when there’s a small hiccup or things get busy, they always make up for it and treat me right. It’s rare to find service that actually cares like that. Highly recommend.
Okay, so we checked out BJ’s in Cupertino – 10690 North De Anza Boulevard. Honestly, the space is huge, really airy with these high ceilings. It felt a bit like a slightly fancier TGI Fridays. We got steaks and they were… a letdown. My husband’s was just okay, but mine was seriously tough, almost inedible. It’s a big place, mostly older folks were there for lunch, which was odd. The portion size wasn’t worth the price. Honestly, I’d rather just grab groceries and make a meal – it just didn't feel like good value. Plus, one guy just walked right in front of me, blocking my path, which was a bit strange!
Very warm ambience and apt for a catch up with friends. The food is tasty. I loved the long island iced tea cocktail. Our server was very friendly. We ordered two mojitos with lite ice. But to fill up the glass extra lemonade was added that made it too sour. But our server replaced it promptly with a new one that was really good and didn't charge for the items at all in the bill to make up for it. It was really a good experience for us that he addressed it promptly and professionally.
what a pleasant experience! some chill monday night football on the big tv, a nice warm greek inspired chicken dish, and to finish it all off a chocolate cookie with ice cream on top; the famed pazookie. bj’s has lived up to all the hype. certainly top contender for best corporate-core fast casual dining experience
Amelia was super friendly and helpful, even though she had a very busy section, she was attentive and continually checked in on us. The manager Johnny was friendly and came to check on us a couple times as well. He was also all over the place doing all jobs like wiping down tables, cleaning tables, getting drinks and checking in on people. From my experience usually managers are not so active. They did a good job keeping our drinks refilled. Overall, a great experience!
It was my bday & I asked my boyfriend to take me here. He won’t say no to BJs 😉 The food was really good the macaroni balls And the avocado Eggrolls with the Sriracha sauce was really good and then the ice cream that was good. The service was OK. I wasn’t impressed. They were a little slow and it wasn’t even packed.
Pre-ordered pick up order through the app, baby back pork ribs, boneless wings, deep dish pizza, deep dish nachos, seared ahi salad, calamaris and fried couscous mac and cheese balls. Pick up is easy, just waited 10 minutes. And the staff is very friendly as usual. Ahi salad is tasty, boneless wings are salty and heavily battered, the couscous mac and cheese balls is a disaster, they all smashed inside the little box, definitely not the ball shape. And ordering the deep dish nachos to-go was not a good idea, they are all glued together and soggy too, it’s better to dine in with this item. I think it’ll be better to dine in rather than ordering take out.
Right next to Apple office...always crowded in Happy hour..good beer options on tap..and tasty snacks.. Update from 3/7/24:we went there very often as its next to our office. We ordered baby back ribs and meat was hard and not fresh. We ordered the full rack. Quantity was good but lack overall taste. However Salmon was good. Pizookie was awesome as usual.
The wait for a table and to get the food is very long. There were people after we arrived and they were seated first. No order or appropriate wait time. We waited about an hour to get our food. We arrived at noon and received our food at 1pm. They only rushed when we questioned for our food and we were upset and annoyed by this point. The food was good but the cookie dessert got burnt from the bottom.
Food is decent but really heavy, service is decent. I’d never come here on my own and only come with friends. Pizookie (cookie pizza with ice cream) is a must and generally what they’re known for. Prime steak Sunday can be hit or miss. I liked the sides more than the steak. The food is ok.
What is this? 🤣 🤣 Maybe I’m missing something as an uncultured non American… Though my husband also thought it was a hoof and immediately/half jokingly started Googling sirloin. As humorous as the situation was to us, the meat was as bad as it looks. I ate all of it 'cos I paid for it, but if the steak had tasted even a tad bit normal, this wouldn’t have been a one star review. Even looking back at the photos I keep bursting out laughing at how it looks. The meat was cooked medium, not medium rare like we ordered so for a restaurant which is basically a glorified family restaurant with a nice looking bar... this tracks! The difference between my husband's sirloin steak and mine despite ordering the same dish was stark. So his was mediocre and mine was basically unacceptable. Except I couldn't really be bothered to ask for a new plate and prefer just not to return to restaurants that don't have good food. Although, I expect we simply got unlucky today since other times my husband has been here without me, he has supposedly gotten decent steak. But today both steaks were so tough that by the point I was done with my meal my hand hurt from trying to cut pieces off and my throat hurt from how hard and dry each piece was to swallow. The place has slightly upscale TGI Fridays vibes upon arrival. Overall, the food seems like general family restaurant level food. I imagine it'd be great to come with a crowd of work friends and get some drinks (we didn't try the alcohol so I have no clue if it's any good). We visited on a weekday for lunch which might explain why the crowd felt mostly senior rather than young. We had a sweet and polite waitress but nothing particularly noteworthy or nice about this place other than her. At one point, one male(?) staff member actually walked in front of me with me having to excuse them (when they weren't carrying anything or occupied with other customers etc.) when we ended up blocking each other, which I've never even have happen at a random mom-and-pop so that felt really weird. It's a huge space with super high ceilings and it's very airy which is great, and I like that they have 2-person booths, although we moved to a bigger booth since there weren't many people when we arrived. The A/C is always cranked too high as per my husband who has tried the joint a few times now. Despite the meal deals meaning it seems like a good deal to eat out, I'd rather just get something from the supermarket and make myself and friends food than waste my money here. I don’t intend to return.
Really disappointing and gross experience at BJ’s. My friend found a piece of gum stuck to their food tray, which was obviously dry and had been there for a while. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, they quickly took the tray away and said they would reorder the food, but didn’t seem concerned about how unsanitary it was. When the manager came out, his customer service was awful and he was very accusatory instead of actually listening to us. Said that he can go ahead and comp my friend meal and gave a small discount for my tray but The whole situation made us so grossed out that we didn’t even want to eat anymore, yet we still had to pay for the rest of the food. Overall, very poor handling of a pretty disgusting situation and would not recommend.
Overall, the food quality is the worst you could get. We have four people and order three steaks. The prime rib was reheated and tasted so bad. Other two steaks were all overcooked. Water was never refilled. We spent almost 2 hours there, only one glass of water then the waitress just never showed up. Bad service, bad food quality! We came here very often before Covid, and the last time we came in was 2022. This site needs to change its management. Bad bad bad!
Server (female) completely ignored our table the entire night. It was obvious that we were her table, when we had four surrounding tables around us a table outside directly behind, all being served by the same person. No one came to provide table utensils, ask if we’ve been served, and even when her other co-workers were clearly telling her that we were her table, we could see her bodily language saying “no” and continuing to serve other tables. I’m not the type of person to start causing a storm, but I asked the bartender and another waitress if we could be helped, they nicely said they would find the server that was supposed to help us, even after going to the very person who was supposed to help us, we ended up getting the supervisor (who was nice) to put in our orders. After getting our food , we ended up being ignored for the rest of the night. This isn’t my first time coming to this BJs, as a matter of fact I come here multiple times a month, I don’t expect too much on the customer service , but this was a new low that I have never seen. Even if the server came and apologized and helped us, that would’ve alleviated any dissatisfaction I had and we could have moved on like adults and I would happily had them serve us. But it looks like common courtesy is lost here as well. And I won’t be coming back. Here’s the kicker, my mom nicely asked the server ignoring us if we could get some to go boxes for our food, she said “Yes” and never came back. And continued to help the other tables.
Overall: food is either too salty or too bland. Burgers were missing lettuce, tomato, dressing, pickles. Pasta was tasteless and depressing. Don't eat here if you have high blood pressure or heart issues. Oh, gosh. Where do I even start? This is my first time at BJ's, and if we never come back again, it will be too soon. We ordered kids' mini burgers, thinking they were so cute. But what did we get? The saddest pieces of bun and patty thrown into a box. Where was the promised lettuce, tomato, and dill pickles? We got none of that. This is insulting to kids everywhere. We got the fries though. And those were FAR too salty. Is this how BJ's wants to feed children now? Carbs and protein and an over abundance of salt? This is setting our children up for heart disease. We also ordered a kids pasta (penne with chicken in alfredo sauce). AND LET ME TELL YOU, this...tastes like the frozen pasta I can buy at Walmart for $1. The penne had no taste and the chicken was absurdly salty. The mashed potatoes were also ridiculously salty. Cardiovascular disease, anyone? We ordered an Italian chicken parmigiana pasta, and again, the pasta looked like something from a frozen pasta meal from Walmart for $1. It was really, really sad. So sad, it's actually kinda comical. Honestly, the Walmart would have been a better value. It would have been tastier and way cheaper. I suppose the one saving grace is the pizookie. I've never tried one before so I was a little excited to try it. And after disappointment after disappointment in our orders today, we flipped over the pizookie to find the saddest looking baked...thing. It looked pitiful. But you know what, it was probably the best tasting thing we've had all night. I don't have any comments on the service and atmosphere since we ordered for pick-up, but they seemed nice enough.
I hadn't set foot in this place for years—literally 4-5 years, to be exact. Recently, I decided to give it another shot, and boy, was I disappointed. I really wish I had checked the reviews before coming here. Let's rewind to the beginning: I hadn't seen my friend in a while, and as we were in the area, I remembered this place and suggested we go there. Upon walking in, we were greeted by an unfriendly host who directed us to the cocktail sitting area only, despite the rest of the restaurant being empty. I questioned why we couldn't sit elsewhere, but neither he nor another lady—who I assumed was another host—could provide a satisfactory answer. Apparently, there were no servers available, except for one who was in training. Mind you, it was 4:00 pm on a Saturday. Eventually, we were seated where we wanted, but not at the cozy booth tables; instead, we found ourselves smack in the middle of the hallway, near the cashier register. To make matters worse, all the tables around us were dirty, and two servers were standing idly, doing absolutely nothing. We placed our orders and began chatting, but the service was excruciatingly slow, and the food was just mediocre. The avocado appetizer, which used to be a favorite of mine 5 years ago, was disappointingly overcooked. The entrees were passable but nothing to write home about. Perhaps the most surprising thing of all? No coffee! Who would have thought a restaurant wouldn't offer coffee? As we were eating, a busboy appeared out of nowhere and began clearing tables single-handedly. More servers started arriving, along with more customers, and by 6:00 pm, the place was packed. Our server mentioned he was going on break and vanished for a whopping 1 hour and 30 minutes. We tried to order dessert multiple times—from different servers and even a host—but kept getting the runaround. When our original server, Cameron, finally reappeared, he hadn't even placed our dessert order. After an hour and 20 minutes of waiting, we finally received our dessert. At that point, we were more intrigued to see how the service debacle would end than anything else. I'm never coming back here—never! It's clear that the management is the root of the problem. Firstly, the tables were disgustingly dirty, and no one bothered to clean them. Seriously? If you're short-staffed, at least help each other out. To the owner and general manager: Do you want your establishment to thrive or shut down? Start motivating your staff and fostering a friendly work environment. My suggestion? Hire a new manager—preferably a good one.
