I absolutely love Luby's. My dad has been taking me here since I was 5 years old. The pumpkin pie tastes like home and Thanksgiving haha. If I lived near this Lubys I would prolly eat here every single day. I'm so surprised this is one of thr few remaining locations left in Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex. If you've ever been fan of incredible cafeteria food then this place is for you.

Delicious, made-from-scratch food. We grew up dining at Luby’s for special occasions since we were young, and we’ve continued to support my childhood restaurant ever since. The food was delicious, and even though the lines were super long on Thanksgiving Day, it was absolutely worth it. We also received wonderful service from Ms. Blanca.

This Lubys is a treasure. Only recently learned that this food Mecca from 70s and 80s still has cafeterias open. I tried several foods that were favorites from the past to see how they held up. Liver and onions, macaroni and other vegies still taste as good as I remember. Apparently a lot of people feel like I do because the lines are long but move steadily. I got their Key Lime pie to compare it with some I’ve made. The colors were muted and it seemed lackluster. Until I tasted it. Not quite as good as the best, but in its old fashioned way, was delicious. It takes a lot to keep the food looking presentable and tasting fresh. Just watch how the service crew are non-stop action to keep food items refreshed and moist. Couldn’t wait to tell my friends, but my friends were “So what?” They already knew and eat there on occasion. So, maybe I’m the last one to find out that it’s well worth the drive to North Dallas? I’ll be going back.

I was so excited to find this Luby's! It had been so many years to find one. So many of them closed and I'm happy to see a few restaurants are here now available. Food was fantastic as usual and as I remembered! Presentation was awesome! And everyone was so efficient and cared about you enjoying your experience. Staff checked often to see if there was anything they could do to help you. I certainly will return to this restaurant because at the delicious food, the caring staff, and the ambiance. It was so pleasant! And of course all of the food was so reasonably priced!

My son and I were so excited to see a Luby's !! It was a family favorite when my kids were young. They closed all the ones near us, sadly. Of course, I had to get the fried fish plate...yummm ...soft flaky white fish with perfectly crisp coating. Then I remembered the perfect coconut cream (real cream , not meringue) pie! I wish they'd open more of their cafeterias again!!!

The salmon here is delicious. The variety of food is unbelievable. Fresh home cooked vegetables with a huge variety to choose from. The waitstaff in the front helps carry your tray of food to the table you like to sit at. A very clean restaurant with a mild volume rate. Overall a great family hospitality restaurant. No alcohol served here so thats a plus.

Having lived in this area for three years now, enjoying a great meal at this Luby's location once or twice a week has become something we always look forward to!! The food is always exceptional, and the service is top notch. Kris always takes care of us, he treats us like we're dining in a fine steakhouse, and anticipates our needs without us having to ask. He is extremely personable and service oriented, making every guest feel welcome. Kudos to Kris and the whole team at this Midway Luby's!!

Our waitress Angie and the entire crew at this location are incredible and made the experience memorable for me and my husband. We had not been there in decades. It was worth the trip, as we live far from that location! They also had on the pink ribbons to support breast cancer awareness month!

We drive 2 hrs from Tyler Texas to eat here a few times a year and it’s always amazing! Chris waited on us today and has before as well and he’s always wonderful. My wife and I had a great time at Luby's and the food is always top-notch, 100% cream of the crop. I especially love the baked lighting with the think it's either a Miracle Whip or Hellman's mayonnaise topping it is so good. My wife had the big head out and a bunch of other things on her plate so we'll always go back to Luby's because they are the best cafeteria anywhere.

I was so pumped the other day when I was away from home & saw a Luby's. I thought they had all closed down. I talked my daughter into going with me the next day. I told her don't look at the prices, I want you to order what looks good to you. Boy, was she impressed with her roast beef...actually everything on her plate and mine. We were sharing everything. I got to share one of my favorite childhood restaurants with my 29 yr old daughter. I got the sirloin steak...and it was absolutely marvelous. Even the fat was juicy, and delectable. That was part of my favorite as a child. And those flavors definitely took me back to my childhood, the way my momma used to cook. Mmmmhmmm❣️😋 She also couldn't believe how reasonable the price was. Can't wait to do it again. 🥰🍽❤️

One of the few Lubys left in the metroplex. That said, this location has been remodeled, and the food and service are fantastic. Luby's food is always fresh and wholesome. The next best thing to home cooking.

Fresh from the store, this bagel grilled up perfectly! I love lubbies, I don’t have a toaster but Dom recommended I throw it on my grill with my hamburgers for my cookout and wow. Charred lightly and a perfect summer snack! Great team, great service

I went to the Lubys on Midway, it was ok. I had to give it all threes. The food wasn't bad, but the food at the Lubys on 67 and Hampton is one of the best in Dallas. I ordered mine online to go because the line at the Midway location is way to long, so therefore the atmosphere is medium. I can't really speak on the service because I didn't eat in.

There is an upcharge for certain types of breads & the server doesn't know so be prepared when you get to the register. There is always at least a 25 minute wait to get thru the line so keep that in mind if you're on a time crunch.

Great selection but please pay servers a decent wage!!! We are not obligated to tip for pushy service. Please designate a senior or handicap section. My mother shouldn’t have to sit at the back of the restaurant. She walks with a cane; I’ve carried her tray many times when they were slammed. No problem with that but when they are slow the servers are pushy. I think they look at our ethnicity and assume we don’t tip. We will still go because the food is great, but we will not tip from now on. No tips whatsoever. Servers burned that bridge. The passive aggression from the cashier to request cash back from a credit card to tip the servers? No thank you. Latinas you should know better than to be pushy.

We typically stop here for food after my family member’s treatment at Medical City before returning to Fort Worth. The food quality, service, and portions are usually great except for yesterday. It appears that there is new management and staff. The food was not fresh. They were recycling food that had obviously been out all day instead of making fresh food, and several items were lukewarm. I am glad this was his last visit because we will not be back.
