Good place for a quick bite. Jason's is always a reliable choice for good sandwiches, wraps, salads. Soups. They also have breakfast options and fountain drinks/sodas. Convenient location in the airport terminal for southwest passengers.
I have eaten here a few times, food is consistent. They have a smaller menu than standalone locations but that is to be expected at an airport. They do have the more popular items on the still on the menu. Atmosphere is in an airport, not much more to say about that. Good part is I can usually find a table.
If you fly layover in Dallas Love Field this is THE ONLY PLACE WHERE YOU SHOULD EAT! Probably the best airport I've ever had and NO PRICE GOUGING. The sandwiches are made in front of you fresh and $5-$10 cheaper than the crap that sits in coolers. It was filling and delicious and the staff was fantastic and quick. My sandwich was made before I even got my receipt, and I watched every ingredient go on. My only regret is I didn't have cash to tip as there was no option on the card reader. The service was some worth tipping. If you're in Love Field, eat here.
We loved our visit to this iconic Campisis. It’s filled with fascinating history and a little mystery. The waiter was super friendly and helpful, the food was delicious (we loved our lunch menu) and we truly enjoyed the whole experience.
Such a classic experience in a historical spot. We've been enjoying pizza with Dallas natives who remember eting here in the 60's. Tking their advice, I ordered pizza all the way. It was wonderful.
This was the best Italian food I’ve eaten in Dallas. It he pizza was delicious with a perfect crispness in the crust! The lasagna was also phenomenal. We finished off with Tiramisu and it was perfect! The atmosphere was jazzy and dim-lit with so much history in the air. We made the best choice for Friday night dinner! Go to Campisi’s!
I love this place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and kinda gives off old mob style vibes. It's a great place to unwind on a date night. The pizzas are recommend and the parmigian is delicious! Highly recomend!
The best traditional Italian restaurant in Dallas. Serving great food for years through three generations of my family. Salami pizza is out of this world good! We come as often as we can since we live 50 miles away.
I've lived in Fort Worth all my life and heard about Campisi's for most of that time but had never been there before this week. It was a great experience! Just as I expected!! The food was good, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was exactly how I had hoped. I will be back...in fact, I'm already planning an evening with friends there soon!!
Best Italian food in DFW! My parents introduced me to this historic restaurant in 1962. I’ve been a loyal patron ever since! The legacy of Joe and Marie Campisi continues. They were lovely people who made you feel like one of the family. Tonight my family dined in the famous circular booth in the corner. The dark and romantic atmosphere is unparalleled. Service was outstanding and every detail was perfect. The drinks from the bar were well prepared. The appetizers were hot and fresh. Don’t forget Joe’s Special Garlic Toast. The Italian Crab Claws are to die for. Main dishes ordered were the lasagna, eggplant Parmigiana, and the “ All the way Pizza”. The salads were fresh and crisp. If you want authentic Italian cuisine and decor, look no further.
Great nostalgia atmosphere. Got there early for lunch and it filled up quickly. Service was wonderful and had the lunch special. Spaghetti meatball, raviolis, lasagna with meat sauce. Side salad too. And that bread, fageddaboudit. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items. Quite the history about this place if you don’t know look it up or ask. Very cool
I was taken there for a Birthday Lunch and the Food was so delicious! All the meals were cooked to perfection. Their pizza is one of my Faves, as well as their house salad. It is very dim, Great for date nights... Our Waitress was very attentive, even as busy as she was. The Atmosphere is so cool. I love this location. I will go back!
Campisi's restaurant has been a staple in Dallas for old school Italian fare since 1946. This is the original on Mockingbird and we forgot how cool it is inside. \n\nThe atmosphere is as authentic as…
My first choice in Italian dinning. Campisi has been serving the Metroplex for many, many years...long before I was born in 1960. Make Campisi's your Italian dining choice!
It's exactly as it's always been. Dark warm and cozy delivering the same great food it always has.

It's been too long since I've satisfied my need for a "Campisi's fix". It's been missing in my life since a move to Waco - and what a shame. The pizza here is life changing, and the little side sal…

My partners favorite local pizza place. This spot is close to the house. First of all it looks like an old time Italian place, which is pretty much awesome. You walk in and the lights are low and m…

I have been going to Campisi's since the mid 1960's and the food is always excellent, reasonably priced with great service
I was in Dallas for a funeral recently on a Friday. I got to the airport early so I could have coffee and some food. For coffee, I first stopped at Jason’s Deli. You go in and place your order on the right side. They have a few tables and chairs but found plenty of seating in the terminal. Coffee was very good. BTW, they sell fair trade certified coffee so if that is important to you, then this is the place for you.
They have veg options, not sure if it’s 100% vegan (zucchini sandwich and a tomato-basil soup). I ordered a soup and it was barely warm. I asked to warm it up and the girl brought it back 10 seconds later (I’m not exaggerating just being honest) and it again was barely warm (maybe tell you want it to be hot)…
For being in an airport, Jason's deli was pretty okay, and the prices were not overly inflated, either. Before and after you eat you get to watch airplanes come and go. What other Jason's deli offers you such a great opportunity?
I mean.. it is in an airport. It's overpriced for sure.. but Jason Delis is awesome.
Above average deli food at Dallas, TX Love Field airport. Open until 10pm, so a decent place to stop when connecting through Dallas on a late night flight. I had a Ranchero which was basically a chicken and melted cheese wrap with a slight southwestern flavor and a couple vegetables inside. The sandwich was small for $8 but that's expected for airport food.
Quick service, friendly staff and awesome food. The sandwiches are about $8.00 but two people can share the sandwich and be satisfied.
Fresh deli sandwiches and salads served hot. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are stinky and need a thorough deep cleaning. Some homeless show up and can add to the smells, but overall the place has great food and service and I recommend it.
The food is so amazing. The staff are very friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is dark and set like an underground speak easy. The space is a little small and noise from daytime lunch can be a bit much but if you go in between times, it's nice and relaxing. Bring your night goggles. It's a little dark. They could turn up the lights for lunch for all the loud construction workers then decrease it during the afternoon, evening, when it is more of an intimate setting. The lighting is a little too dark for a lunch with business professionals. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere. A bit too dark for business.

service was good. Food was subpar. Vibe was very retro and cool but not worth it for the food.

With a long layover, stop in to get two Santa Fe, bag of chips and a chocolate pecan brownies a cup of water all for $31.46 . The food was pretty good it to my amazement.
This was my first visit to this small Italian restaurant, and I was taken a back by the candle lit ambiance, which means that it is really dark inside. I was served immediately and with a smile. I tried their pizza since it's their specialty (being the first in Dallas). Maybe it's my New York roots, but I was not impressed with their thin crust pizza, nor their dry Coconut Cream cake that reminded me of sweet cornbread.
The atmosphere here is great! But the food, not so much. I wouldn't even call it Italian. The chicken piccata looks to be a frozen chicken piece and not very big although the was a lot of the a…

I wondered around Love Terminal looking for a decent breakfast option. Based on the menu description and picture of Jason's Deli Croissant, fresh cracked Egg, Bacon, cheese; I thought I'd found a great breakfast option. However, see the picture to see what I got compared to the menu description and picture.
On the day I visited, the credit card system was down. I had to go out of the way to find an ATM so that I could pay with cash. I ordered the Club Royale. Being that this location is in an airport, I can say that the food I got was subpar to the same food that you would get in a normal Jason’s Deli restaurant. The sandwich was dry and the meat was weird. It wasn’t good so I didn’t eat the entire thing. I’ll most definitely skip Jason’s Deli the next time I’m at Dallas Love Field.
I purchased the Sunshine breakfast combo. The sandwich was dry but ok; the coffee was very weak. When I complained to cashier, she didn't say anything. I will not eat here again.
First I asked for sausage croissant w bacon added. Asked for the receipt and I couldn’t understand the cashier. She spoke so fast I had to ask her twice then ask her to slow down. I don’t mind language barriers or accents, but don’t have an attitude w me just bc I didn’t understand you. Then, they gave me a ham and bacon croissant, I wasn’t about to make them make another one, but I mentioned it to the cashier and she gave me a dirty look while snatching the receipt away from the bag and checked it. Sure the receipt said Ham, but that’s not what I asked for. I got a sandwich and an OJ and it cost $17
I'm used to getting a higher price at airports, but this Jason's Deli took airport price gouging from de rigeuer to an all out art form and their mastery was on full display. $37 for a wrap, sandwich & water with no chips. I crown the airport price gouging champions! With poor service to boot. Will not return. Sandwich was decently made so the champs missed the trifecta.
Simply awful! Tasteless, bland. How are they still in business? chicken piccata had 2 capers on it! No flavor at all. Fettuccine Alfredo was a joke-tastes better from a jar. What are they thinkin…

Very bad server kept on asking for money for the chips I bought from elsewhere. Even though before I bought my chips inside the the restaurant. It’s an airport restaurant called Jason’s Deli. I bought 2 sandwiches and told the server that can I bring my own chips which I just bought it and eat in your premise as I didn’t know if they would have same chips. But she embarrassed me in front of my spouse and other customers in there. I thing she was not able to understand English at all. Will never visit another Jason’s Deli ever. The employers need to hire employees who understand English especially where there’s going to be all kinds of customers coming in.I would give zero star if for my experience as I didn’t enjoy my food because of that experience.
Wrong bread on my sandwich and the drinks in the cooler are warm. She also put my spoon on the dirty counter. Worst jasons deli ive been been to
My wife and I stopped in and ordered two sandwiches to take on our flight. They did not make either sandwich as requested, missing cheese, bacon, mayonnaise and more. We did not eat the dry sandwiches and certainly will not return.
Today 07/01/2025 we were on 2 hour wait and my son picked this place at the Dallas Airport as his pre birthday celebration. The cashier was the most rude person I have ever dealt with. I asked if we could sit on one side of the restaurant, and she said no, so we sat on the side with the chairs down. As we were eating 8:20 pm, she approached us and told us the lobby was closed and we asked at what time they closed. She said at 10 pm but lobby at 8:30. It wasn't even that time, we told her we would finish and leave. She came back cleaned the counter next to my husband, and as she picked up the chairs, she slammed it on the bench so aggressively and loudly. Not just one chair, two chairs next to him. I do not know how my husband kept his cool. We asked her for her name and said "Mayra".My son was very scared. I have time of incident and will be writing to corporate so they can see video.
Went here with my girlfriend for a great occasion, should have read reviews before coming here! The place was so dark she couldn't see the menu without her phone light. The owner seemed to have a real attitude, and my girlfriend was mad about how rude he was. the bathrooms were nasty. We ordered, the salads came out, and it was like a soughy olive garden salad but tasted worse. Perhaps that is why it is so dark inside because they are trying to hide the horrible food? We ordered basic Italian dishes, and they weren't' that good. meatballs had a strange after taste to them. I probably could've made better spaghetti and meatballs and I'm a pretty terrible cook. I don't recommend this place whatsoever.
I haven't eaten at this location, the original location, of Campisi's in about 30 years. I have eaten take-out from the downtown and Lover's Lane locations a few times in the interim. So, Wednesday December 10, 2025, three friends of over 50 years decided to get together for lunch at the original Campisi's on Mockingbird, We had no wait for a table and our waiter seemed friendly and he was quick to let us know that he ha worked there a number of years, We ordered our long-time usual, a pizza and 3 salads, The salads came soon enough, and were good, as usual, though quite light on the sliced green olives, but after about 75 minutes after ordering, we were still waiting on our pizza, and the waiter was nowhere to be see. We noted several tables of people around us who had arrived well after us, but who had already been served, and were finished with, their orders. We finally spotted our waiter and confronted him about the missing pizza and he went off in search of it. He came back and said he was sorry, but apparently another waiter had picked up our pizza and served it to some other patrons. He obviously, if he had been doing his job, could have noticed himself, in any number of ways, that we had not been served our pizza, yet chose to blame someone else for his gross failure to do his job at anything approaching a competent level. A few minutes later a manager stopped by our tables and said he was sorry and that our pizza would be out soon. When the pizza finally arrived, it was clear that it had been started after out inquiry and what the waiter sat on our table was an abomination of a thrown-together Campisi's pizza, with under cooked dough and the pizza ingredients having been thrown haphazardly at the pizza distributing the ingredients very irregularly, rendering several slices of it inedible. We picked at the awfully made pizza, got our ticket, paid, and remarkably none of us wanted to take home the 1/2 of the pizza we had not eaten. Maybe someday I will return to Campisi's but it won't be anytime soon. If, and when I return, Campisi's will be held to the "old" standards of decent service and on time delivery of the order. Any failure will result in a lifetime ban and extremely negative reviews, given this advanced warning.
Trash... food is trash no one needs to waste they're time going here. The waiter was a older guy that was rude rude rude just had a attitude. Like we're the ones responsible for whatever is going on with him. Then the food was garbage. The food tasted like it was cooked two days ago. Then when you ask for the check he tried to switch it up at the last min. "Thank you for coming in"... some bs please avoid going here plenty of other nice restaurants in the area. The booth was super tiny. I kept stepping on the person's feet in front of me.
Place has really fallen off, idk if they got a change in ownership or a new cook. But the pasta tastes off, and the Alfredo is worse than the buttered noodles and parm my little sister made for me at the age of 8. I wouldn't feed these leftovers to my dog if I had one. Also my waitress didn't offer to top my coffee off till I was standing to leave. Every time I came to Dallas as a kid to visit my family I would beg to come to The Great Campisis, and it breaks my heart to say those days are long gone.
