Mimosas

This place is in the beautiful, historical five points area of Denver and is a must try! We got there around 10:00 am on a Sunday. Highly recommend making a reservation, that's the 1st thing they ask because it's so popular. We were able to get seated but not long after we got settled it got pretty busy. Our waitress Rachel was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the menu. I always ask for recommendations from the staff and she was spot on. My sister loved her Birria breakfast bowl and my mushroom omelette was perfect. The fried green tomatoes are probably some of the best I've ever had. Don't share.....get your own order of those😋 Please support this wonderful establishment, and enjoy the self guided tour of Five Points after to walk off your meal 😉

I found this restaurant from recommendations on Yelp. Super cute and chilled vibes. The food was delicious. Our waitress was the sweetest and best attentive. I recommend you to book reservation prior to coming because they fill up pretty quickly although they do have a covered outdoor area at the back with heated lamps. I had the chicken and wales which i subbed for French toast and it was really good. We tasted a side of the chicken sausage which I didn’t care for at all. I would definitely be back when I’m in the Denver area.

LOVED brunch here!! The fried green tomatoes are a must, as well as the sticky buns. The mimosas were delicious; my favorite was the peach. And the chicken + waffles was awesome. We went on Juneteenth and didn’t have a reservation, but we didn’t wait long before being seated (~20 minutes). Really enjoyed being out on the back patio. Overall, a fantastic brunch experience!

Since we landed in Denver, visiting from New Orleans, every person we have conversed with has said not to get our hopes up when it comes to the food here. I say, they must have not had Mimosa's. This was our very first food stop and They Delivered, putting the Nay Sayers to shame. The food was great, met only by its beautiful ambiance and amazing service. 10 out of 10 from both my wife and I.

Easily became a fast favorite! My girlfriends were in town and we came in this morning for our first time. The atmosphere was so lovely, our server was perfection, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was not only pretty but delicious as well. Some of the best grits I’ve had in Colorado. The loaded Bloody Mary might have won for my favorite ever! I love that they utilize so many local vendors and make most everything in house. Will absolutely be back for some of the events our server mentioned and highly recommend!

Recently visited on a Saturday with reservation. Easy to make a reservation via OpenTable - we were running a few minutes behind and we called to change reservation and the team was accommodating. For a larger party we were seated in their covered patio area which was warm for the cooler season. The service and the drink and food orders were prompt and the team provided great food recommendations. I personally had the shrimp and grits and mimosa French toast and both were delicious. The shrimp and grits were blended so well and the cajun flavor was even throughout the dish. The patio area was packed with larger parties but we never had to wait for service or to be checked on. We could easily split the bill with their portal POS. Truly enjoyed the atmosphere and music for Saturday brunch. Paid street parking $$ (Also love that it is black owned!)

Had brunch at Mimosas Eatery in Denver recently with a friend. I tried the biscuits and gravy, paired with the Kokomo mimosa flight, and my friend ordered the chicken and waffle. The mimosas were great I really enjoyed the different flavors in the flight. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy didn’t live up to the hype. The biscuits were dry, and there wasn’t enough gravy to make up for it. My friend did enjoy their chicken and waffles, especially the chicken, which was good. The overall experience was just okay. It wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t blown away by the food. I’d come back for drinks, but I’m not sure I’d get the same dish again.

This place was a nice vibe! Our server Avery was amazing and we had a group of 14. She complimented how easy it was to serve us because large groups can be chaotic. The beignets was my favorite thing! The mimosas were good and I’m not much of a drinker (alcohol is nasty lo). The shrimp and grits was okay, the pork sausage in it was bomb! I would come back.

We came without reservations. Being out of towners, we weren’t aware. They were still able to accommodate us. We weren’t aware taken care of immediately. Food came out fast. It was good. The shrimp and grits could’ve had more seasoning but being from the south, that may just be a preference. Definitely enjoy. Mimosa was really good.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Denver last weekend for my birthday trip. TikTok said this place never missed but that most definitely wasn’t our experience. The drinks took forever, which our serve communicated with us that it was only one bartender so we understood. But the food was awful. Nothing, and I mean nothing was hot. Our steak tasted like they literally took it out the fridge and put it straight on the grill. No season whatsoever and it was tough, waffle was hard with no flavor. The saving grace was the chicken from the chicken and waffles and honestly that could’ve been cooked 2 minutes more. We communicated with the server and they took something off. We’re understanding and realized they were busy but because we literally didn’t eat anything we had to say something. But, our server was sooo nice! Literally the customer service was on point and because of that I would give this place a try again on a day that isn’t so busy of course. I wish I could remember his name we did leave him a good tip though! The music and vibes were nice also and our seats were at the window which we thought was a nice view.
